3. Chapter 3 Space invaders

One sunny morning in Japari park

"Sugoi!" Serval yells as she prances around at the ZAFT trio while Caracal leads the group to shelter. "So, what kind of Friend are you?" The trio looks confused as the cat girl looks on in amazement. "A Friend? What do you mean?" Kira asked to which Serval announced. "Friends are Friends! This is Caracal and I am Serval! So what kind of a Friend are you?" The trio simply look at each other in utter confusion with Caracal clearing it up. "What Serval is saying is... Well... I guess I should start with an old story."

"Long ago we were mere animals. Bereft of power, wisdom, and fanservice. Until the Goddess Cellval brought sandstar into the world. Birthing out kind, the friends. Friends created societies and spread out across all corners of the land. For a time all was good. The four guardians watched over the four corners of the land and Japari was in the middle of a golden age. But everything changed when the Celliens attacked. The Celliens waged war on us Friends leading our world to the brink of ruin. Capable of killing Friends and transforming them into Beasts. We Friends had no choice but to pray to the gods."

"And then?" "No one knows. That's where the story ends." Caracal mentions to Athrun as they find Serval snoring. Caracal annoyed at her friend, kicks her in order to wake her up. "Nya nya nya?" "Get up Serval! We need to get to safety before the Celliens show up!" Serval yawns and shrugs it off claiming that there are no Celliens in the area. Until a group of cerulean colored humanoids with a giant domed head with a single eyeball, claws for hands, and stubby elephantine feet. Slender and tall creatures that move around in surreal patterns with an eye like emblem in the chest. Jump from the grass and surround the group looking for a fight. Shinn notes. "So, I guess these are Celliens?" As the ZAFT trio ready themselves for battle. "They're Cellien combatmen!" Caracal yells as she drags Serval along only to notice that the trio is holding their ground. "What are you doing?! These are Celliens! If you fight them you will." The combatmen launch themselves at their foes only for Kira to dodge the attacks, draw his twin beam rifles and blow up the Celliens with contemptible ease, Athrun uses his double bladed lightsaber to bisect his targets finished off with by tossing the blade in an arc that hacks apart even more of them before returning to his hands, and Shinn simply uses his Ardonight a seven foot long broadsword that is just as heavy as it looks to literally crush the rest of them into a fine blue paste. All the while Serval and Caracal look on in awe and amazement. With Caracal being driven to tears of joy. "Our saviors."

And then Serval ruins the moment by cutting in and saying. "So you are Friends who are good at killing!" Shinn annoyed at the situation remarks. "Can I burn her" Only to be met by disapproving looks from the rest. As the group continues to follow the setting sun Athrun thinks to himself about both Lalah Sune and Tails doll whom they had been separated from after their reality was destroyed.

At that time a stuffed animal version of Tails was being analyzed in one of the old Japari labs. A strange mechanical creation manages the console as data pours in. The machine, an unconventional design. It was insectoid and crab-like in appearance. A smooth white design covered with sandstar and red crystals. A pair of mismatched arms and a cylindrical head with a single cerulean eye that glows bright red. The machine speaks with the voice of a woman as she holds a red gem in her left claw hand. "I see. So it's the jewel that allows this stuffed doll to live. This power source will be useful. Yesss." Behind her there a multiple Celliens floating around. Blue creatures with a single eye who seem to follow her commands. "Yes, with this the Celliens will finally achieve their destiny and exterminate the Friends. And then we shall spread. As the universe hears the words of the Cellien priestess. Who is me of course." The priestess then turns to see a pod where a young Hindi woman is being kept in stasis alongside several others. Being modified with nanomachines, sandstar and Cellien DNA.

"Sleep well Lalah. For soon I will claim your body. And your Newtype powers!"

Chapter 3: Space inavders

Six months have passed since the universe was returned to normal thanks to the actions of the Resistance. Still the scars of Spiral island remain. With many having died and coming back to life. After these events the IFS has began its oppressive crackdown in order to end any opposition to their rule. This has led to an attempt at an united separatist movement to either stop or secede from the IFS. It is the year Third history 8932. The three galaxies that were once united under the banner of liberation from evil have now become the oppressors. Civil war is threatening to tear worlds apart. And the belief that the empire will collapse is common.

It is now too late...

Mar 4 t.h 8932: Above Mobius orbit

Zuckerberg Nacht entered a personal communication room. A relatively small circular room with seats on the perimeter and a holo console in the center. The room is soundproofed and is arguably the most isolated and protected area in the Devastator. The communication console lights up as a holo screen activates while Nacht tries and fails to kneel at his master only to fail. His master Barragan Nacht is a short and creepy undead with a large downward pointing mustache and an eerie smile His most notable trait is his changed helmet. Now colored golden with protrusions akin to a crown and three glowing red eyes. "Calm yourself my friend. After all we of the Endless now are all equals. A brotherhood forged on hedonism and avarice. Seeking an eternity under our control." "If it wasn't for Kagemusha, I would still have legs though." Barragan simply laughs at the comment stating. "We all underestimated him my descendant. Do not worry, Mami Tomoe has been punished for her failure to kill the Reibai stragglers. Anyways, I see that you had to summon the rest of the fleet." Zuckenberg merely looks the other way in shame.

The conversation is suddenly interrupted by a communication from the bridge. "Sir, you should probably get back to the bridge." Zuckerberg is furious at this yelling. "I am talking to grandfather right now! Can't it wait?!" "Fraid not dood." "And why is that you imbecile?!" "Because Sonic the hedgehog is barreling straight at us! And he's brought backup!" Zuckerberg looked utterly shocked while Barragan grinned from ear to ear at the revelation.

Ost: Dragon, New Getter Robo

In outer space, Super Sonic and Super Shadow were rocketing towards the assembling the fleet which is throwing everything they have in order to stop them. With Sonic and Shadow dodging, tanking, and deflecting the ships fire while eliminating enemy Waltzers, escort craft, and other support vehicles one by one. "Do those two believe they can stand against the Ultimate life form?! Chaos blast!" Shadow then fires off a charged blast of energy that decimates an entire wing of the fleet. All the while Tails, Knuckles, and Amy fuse with Super Sonic creating a golden Sonic Arc who follows up with a giant sword beam that splits into multiple golden homing meteors. Leaving only six Villainous class left. The bridge crew of the Devastator was panicking as all the comm lines are screaming in panic and screaming because they are getting killed. All the while Zuckenberg who had a this point reached the bridge again. He simply orders. "All remaining ships... RAMMING SPEED!" The pilot of the Devastator simply sighs in resignation and begins changing course. "I guess today is a good day to die."

Zuckenberg also orders that all of the ships charge their main cannons and point them at Mobius while holding back the hedgehogs in any way as possible. Sonic and Shadow notice and move in to intercept when they are attacked by Suzume who flies all over the place even outpacing Super Shadow much to his utter shock. While firing off hit and run attacks on the group hitting them with sting shots from afar. Shadows curses the bug as he tells Sonic Arc to leave her to him. After a moments hesitation they do so and give chase to the Devastator. Using Sonic Arc's speed to close the distance while wielding both the Rose sword and Sonic tomahawk to deal with one of the ships who broke off in order to intercept. Firing its main particle cannon at Sonic who mostly cuts it apart before being damaged. The ship then unloads at Sonic Arc who throws his tomahawk and misses. The crew of the Villanious simply laughs at they ready another charged particle shot. Yet all four components of the fusion were not worried as the tomahawk returned now a mile long with an ever larger blade and tore the ship in half from back to front and exploding as the tomahawk reverted to a manageable size. "Gotta love super robots." Knuckles cracks as they continued on.

Back at the Devastator Zuckerberg looks at the battle with a disturbing glee. "So, the cannons are ready?!" "The convergence system is loaded and all five ships report that their main cannons are primed and ready! The Powered death ray is ready to fire!" Zuckerberg narrows his eyes and orders. "Fire." Sonic was almost there as the IFS ships fired their five cannons. Whose beams converged and merged into a beam the size of the moon which Sonic Arc was forced to intercept by tanking the beam head on as Sonic Arc manages to deflect the beam into outer space.

Shadow is still fighting Suzume in space. When he notices that the Devastator and the IFS fleet have fired at Sonic Arc, Destroying the Arc after deflecting the enormous energy blast. Causing the four members to just disappear as the ships continue their course to Mobius. Sensing weakness, Suzume gut punches Shadow and slaps him away as she speeds away to join the fleet. With Shadow following in hot pursuit. Meanwhile Zuckenberg smiles smugly as the remaining ships are met with GUN aircraft who opens fire at the ships. As the ships are being shot down one by one. Zucherberg orders them to continue in their course to crash on Green Hills.

"Excellent!" The admiral chuckles to a concerned crew. With one member asking. "Why are we just rushing to our deaths anyway?" With another crewman commenting. "Because you don't want to piss off the old men. I knew someone who angered Barragan and he got decayed." The other crewman just looked on in confusion as the second one explained. "You know that Shigaraki guy who kills people by turning them to dust?" The first guy nodded in confirmation. "Well Barragan is kinda like that. Only that when he breathes on you, you melt into a puddle of red pulpy ooze. And you will feel the unbelievable pain until you finish melting. So dying like this is far better in my opinion." Both the crewman who asked the question as well as several others to freak out as they went on with their work.

GUN Dragon warriors which are GUN's main battle cruisers. Based off the Egg Carrier and being a cross between it and an icebreaker ship. Continue firing at the Villainous. Sinking two of them with properly landed super heavy proton rockets from six launchers in the ships front. Powerful and massive ordinance that overload the defense barriers on the ship and eat thru the hull. Shattering the craft and causing the debris to disperse. Rouge then swoops in with the Death hunter and circles the remaining ships as a Tenno piloted by Omega holding on from the ships turret and readying a meter long sniper cannon connected with a cable connecting to the ship. "Omega are you ready?" "Sniper cannon ready. Power supply stabilized, vector data successfully imputed, cooling systems at 120%. Ready to fire Rouge." "All I needed to hear." Rouge smirks as the duo get into position in front of the bridge of one of the remaining three craft. Omega them fires off an incredibly powerful laser beam that pierces straight thru the battleships like a 500 Kelvin hot knife thru butter. With Rouge using the turret to both cover Omega and do more damage as the ships explode. As the Devastator was also shot and its crew all killed. Zuckenberg could only smile as his ship explodes and eventually crashes in the coasts of Neo Green hill zone. While the other ships crash in the nearby ocean. Everyone celebrates their victory as Omega is forced to discard the sniper cannon as its front had melted into slag.

Gekkou, Merlina, and Shortfuse reach the crash site of the Devastator while riding Extreme gears. A type of high speed hoverboard from Babylonia. Which has been wrecked in the beach line with other ship wreckage around it. Including another Villainous class sinking into the sea in the distance, And several dead bodies that had fallen from the ship. With several bodies being charred into hamburger. Both Merlina and Shortfuse are shocked and disgusted at the sight. "Did the entire crew just suicide crashed into the kingdom?!" Merlina questions in shock. To which Gekkou explained. "That's how the burial fleet works. They are fanatics, always have been." The squirrel and mage took notice as Gekkou continued with the story.

"From what I heard the Burial fleet or the fourth independent fleet of the anti heresy division of the IFS were originally made by the Reibai. A group created to hunt incubator and Puella magi remnants. They had free reign as long as they stayed away from standard command. They were also tasked with dealing with the taboo arts. Apparently Kagemusha was in charge of the fleet originally. But its now just a pawn of the Nacht family and the Scra." Sally, Nicole, and the rest of the Resistance that was heading to other areas were listening in. Already they were worried about Sonic and company and their disappearance. So the fact that one of the five founding races was involved. And the one member everyone hates only getting its position because of their collective wealth and control of the banks. At least before the centralized IFS bank was founded. It of course pissed off the collective race until they began plotting a coup which would be achieved millennia later.

"Also the current admiral of the fleet is a Nacht. A direct descendant of Barragan." "I'm not going to like what's next huh?" Sally asked Gekkou. "You won't as he is the leader of the three old men. Oligarchs who run the IFS after Barragan personally murdered the entire congress. All five thousand members and later went on to kill all of the representative councils and a good chunk of loyalists." A horrified Nicole states that if it is true Barragan killed almost a million politicians to ascend to dominance.

Explosions rocked the Devastator as metal and machinery is tossed aside and blasts of energy surge as a tentacled figure leaps out of the crash and lands on the beach, right in front of the trio. Zuckenberg laughs as he faces Gekkou and company with little injury to his name as the Scra merely dusts himself off as he looked at his opponents. Shortfuse is incredulous at the sight of a crippled, half dead man who is being kept alive and mobile by cybernetics. Leaping out of the wreckage and landing with grace. "Nacht, I presume." "Yes, I am Zuckenberg Nacht. Admiral of the burial fleet. Butcher of billions. And now, slayer of hicks!" While speaking he gets straight up in front of the trio's faces." "Ugh, mouthwash." Merlina then blindsides Nacht with a magical blast. "Focus! I sense a great power from that man!" Merlina then readies her staff, Shortfuse loaded his blasters, and Gekkou drew her sword as they attacked only to be blocked by a powerful barriers while charging up a powerful heat beam that would have killed Gekkou is Shortfuse didn't knock her away and took the shot head on. Although his metagal hide allowed him to survive he clearly felt pain. As it was the first attack to actually damage the Cybernik. Before leaping away as Suzume landed to join the fight. "Not her again!" Merlina curses as she helps Shorty up. And Super Shadow teleports in front of Suzume kicking her to the side before returning to normal as he grabs the bee woman and in an instant leaves the area dragging her across the ground.

During the chaos Zuckenberg takes out a visored mask which he puts on as it secures itself in front of his face. "Masker on!" Raising his left arm forward he then quickly uses his right one to press a side button and scream "Masquerise!" Causing the mask to glow as tendrils erupt from the mask and fuse with Zuckerberg's head and then pump ooze into his body as the mask merges with Zuckerberg's face, causing purple energy veins before his skin shattered open and a new figure came out as the old body shattered into crystals that were swept away by the wind. What came out was a monster not unlike the Blights. A grim reaper like creature with a hidden face and four glowing eyes. Gray and brown coloring with moss covering it. Bone cuff links and an elongated left arm that was more like a spinal cord connecting a mechanical claw. Being kept together by a upward pointing shoulder-pad.

"A Blight?! Those bastards are still around?!" Shorty remarks as he and Merlina keep their distance. Burial simply laughs and explains. "Fool! I am a Masquerade! The Burial Masquerade! A member of the Eternal now. Your true rulers. And soon the rulers of everything!" "Ugh! It's Space Eggman!" Shorty bemoans while Merlina notes. "Shouldn't it be the Eggmen?" Burial simply has four large skeletal arms burst of his back which he lunges at the trio before flying upward and firing off his arm laser. Forcing the Resistance to grab their EX gears and scatter. Then reactivate the Burial fleet Guardsmen and ordering to give chase.

Shadow kept fighting Suzune with no clear advantage on either side. Even the ultimate life form was somewhat impressed with who he was fighting. But Suzume merely vomited out some golden goo at Shadow. Unamused he continued fighting until he stopped moving. Realizing too late that most of his body has been bound an sealed in honey. Allowing Suzume to beat on Shadow without repercussions as he struggled to get out. Her beating only stopped when an entire tree, then a giant boulder, and finally a bomb struck the bee woman in immediate succession, knocking her away as a green energy tore away the dried honey. "Silver!" "Hey, Shadow it's been a while! And don't worry the President and the others have returned home. And Elise personally asked me to help out." "So the duchess bodyguard to assist?" Shadow remarks, smirking as the duo got ready to face Suzume. Who then got smacked by a missile barrage from the Death hunter as Omega jumps out and unloads his Gatling guns on her. Followed by missiles, and then high power energy beams as he landed in front of the hedgehogs. All the while the hunter flew off to safety.

Silver impressed at the scene commented. "Well, I think she's dead now." Omega responds with a simple. "Affirmative." Suzume then rises from the ashes. Banged up and with her mask shattered revealing a young girl clutching her head in pain but otherwise alright. The girl asked what is going on as she saw the others and panicked. "Who are you?" Silver yelled. "Don't bother bee woman!" As Omega readied a pair of quad guns and trained them on the panicking girl. "No... I'm Shizuka... Shizuka Tomine..." Shizuka then began screaming as the mask restored itself and reasserted Suzume's personality. "No, I am Suzune. The fist of Eternal now."

Back in HQ Touka looked on in horror realizing what happened. "Those bastards! They did to her what they did to Nemu!" Everyone in headquarters looked at Touka as she talked about her past. "Still, the Tokime clan should have been wiped out long ago. By the burial fleet themselves. Kagemusha herself went to Tokime village and killed everyone. Man, woman, and child in the name of the IFS." Alia Hopscotch who was recording everything asked if Kagemusha could have missed some people which Touka quickly shoots down. "The only reason we won in Spiral island is because Kagemusha wanted to rub in his victory to everyone." Sally ordered that the other teams head to back up the others. Only for them to reply that the crew of the crashes has come back from the dead and are attacking them.

In two other beaches Gadget was fighting off Guardsmen alongside Sumeragi troopers. While Fakir is fighting alongside Acorn forces. All the while the Sumeragi generals try to finish off the wreckage where the mooks were spawning. With Air Raid bombing the second ship and Firewall shooting at the third ship.

"So this fat-ass isn't a total blubber head." Shortfuse bemoans as Gekkou steps forward. "I will deal with them." She then puts on an Emeraldriver on her wrist and slots in an emblem key yelling. "Henshin!" In a loud and passionate manner while raising her right arm. Much to the cringe of others as as a beam fired out of the driver that creates a portal that summons a pirate ship as an eastern dragon that created a body suit as the pirate ship drops on Gekkou's head as the ship unlocked and became the chest armor, shoulder-pads, and dragon visored helmet. Creating energy hair that dropped down to the waist, and the right shoulder turning into a cannon as a burst of energy sweeps across the area.\

"Code Henshin! Pirate and Dragon! Sailing the seas of the skies above."

As the wind calms down everyone notices the blue clad warrior wielding a cutlass. With Shorty asking. "Who are you?" Gekkou simply states. "Mahou driver Crossbone. Now, lets do some piracy." Twirling her saber and swinging it while firing off ice dragons at burial who counters with a bony scythe known as the 44 bones which extends like a whip slicing thru the ice. Shorty and Merlina try to help but are harassed by undying Guardsmen who keep coming back no matter what. Burial gleefully explains that his powers allow him to manipulate corpses. As he shows when two of charred bodies rise up and transform before attacking Merlina with martial arts, forcing her to fight back with her staff. Blocking their blows and swatting them away before zapping them with a spell that magnetizes them and into the ship's wreckage. With Shortfuse getting beaten up by numerous goons until Merlina swats them off. Leaving Shorty to merely dust himself off and fires off a barrage of plasma sabots that home in and atomize the remaining minions leaving Merlina surprised at the sight. "What is the deal with that armor?" "It's pretty good armor apparently."

Fakir was fighting off several minions when Gadget gets tossed behind him with Guardsmen giving chase. Kickback leaps off the canopy and begins fighting the Guardsmen by both shooting them and smacking them away with his arms. Even leaping into one of them and revving his wheel on his chest until it smoked. Gadget is helped up as the minions continue to rise from the grave putting everyone in the back foot. Duck in her duck form dives from then sky and latches onto a guardsman's face. "Let everyone go you jerks!" And gets swatted off for her trouble pissing off her boyfriend who rushes the horde as Gadget tries to stop him while shooting people.

Duck returns to her human form clutching a bump in her head. "A doctor getting injured... Just dandy." And then notices the Guardsmen which causes her to scream as Fakir and Gadget are tackled down by the horde with Kickback being overwhelmed shortly after. "Damn zombies!" Duck then realizes. "They're zombies?" And then smiles as he powers up her magic. "Revive!" The spell instantly turns all of the Guardsmen into dust saving everyone as the wreckage suddenly explodes and falls apart.

The top heavy and clawed general spoke in a husky female voice as her maser cannons obliterated the underwater portion. "Shortround reporting for duty. Air Raid finish it off!" Topside the other general screams. "No need to tell me!" And launches all of his missiles completing the destruction. As the battleship fell apart and splashed on the nearby sea.

The third Villainous ship is also destroyed. With the Sumeragi troopers watching in awe as Firewall destroys the craft in one shot with the aid of a new general. The one in camo colors and wielding a large sensor dish. "Ranger. Finished." Another group of Guardsmen attack which are shot down by Firewall's cannon and Ranger's twin carbines. "We could use some backup people." "Right!" Ahiru confirms as she flies to their location and uses revive on the zombies. Turning them all into dust.

Radome type Sumeragi general

The fight between Crossbone and Burial continue as the two cross blades once more. The latter sprouts his arms once more and fire off more heat beams that manage to grace Gekkou in the waist. Which she freezes shut as she raises an ice wall. Which although it melts at the might of the lasers. Allows the dragonkin to get behind an cut off the arms and then pointing to Burial's back and firing off a Take no Yamikazuchi. A massive ki blast that ragdolls the Masquerade into the distance. Forcing Shortfuse and Merlina to take cover alongside the Guardsmen. With everyone simply stunned silent after an explosion in the distance and Gekkou running off in hot pursuit. Then the zombies started attacking again with the duo demanding backup.

Shadow, Silver, and Omega continued their fight as well. With Suzune recovering and flying circles around the group. Being able to keep up with Shadow in speed as the duo shatter the sound barrier which each clash. Leaving Silver and Omega to simply observe. "Seriously how broken is this bitch?! Puella Magi can't be this strong, can they?!" "Heavy cybernetic and genetic modification detected. The signals are a match for the ZERO trooper program." Silver looks to his compatriot with horror. Starting to think that they are all screwed. While Omega notices that Silver has knowledge of the program considering his reactions of dread and panic. As if he has witnessed such powers before.

In the next clash they stop and begin trading blows. With Shadow maniacally grinning and stating. "Finally! A worthy opponent for the ultimate life form. But now I will go further beyond!" Shadow attempts his super transformation again only for red electricity to surge across his body causing him to collapse in pain and then gets kicked away into the ground before Silver uses his psychic surge to stop Suzume as Omega give her a right straight punch that sent her flying and cracked her armor. "Finally!" Silver cheered as the two fist bumped in celebration. A celebration that was cut short when the bee woman got up. Fired streams of quick dry honey and retracted her chest to reveal a massive chest blaster that began to charge. Silver, Omega, and Shadow were stuck as Suzune prepared to fire.

t.h. 8922: Kingdom Valley, Principality of Soleanna

In the ruins of Kingdom valley. The former castle of the Soleanna royal family. Fallen into ruins after the last king of Solaris died. Leading to the birth of Soleanna at the hands of the Von Soleanna family after being victorious in a civil war 500 years prior. Silver the hedgehog had been wondering the wilds of the kingdom for days. Starving, injured, and exhausted. He collapses in the middle of a field of grass in between a ruin. "It's no use... I've been wondering for five days now! (sigh) I wonder what happened to Blaze? I bet she's so worried about me. Especially after sensei died before taking down that fire monster Iblis." Silver's stomach growled as he screamed to the sky while throwing a tantrum and then complained. "Ugh! Fine! I'm going to die here. Alone, unmourned, and with no way to get back to the future! I suppose that if there's any consolation this is a beautiful place to die." The time traveler then drifted off to sleep and to wait to die.

The next time Silver woke up he was lying in a large comfy bed inside a quaint fire-lit bedroom where a little girl with brown hair, blue eyes, and pale skin was watching over him. This girl had a simple tiara and a orange dress and puffy pants with a golden belt with black accents. "You're awake mister!" The girl cheerfully noted as she left to call for her papa. "Look, look, papa! He's woken up!" A confused Silver looks at the duo and asks. "Who are you? And where am I? Am I dead? Is this heaven?" The jolly and portly old man laughed to the point of tears. This man, tall and imposing with snow white hair and a full beard and wearing a pristine white and gold coat with a red cape with blue trim. And the logo of Soleanna that of an eagle underneath a sun emblazoned in both. "You are very much alive young man. My name is Duke Otto Hahn von Soleanna. And this is my dearest daughter Princess Elise Oliga von Soleanna. As for where you are. You are inside Soleanna castle. Our home." An excited Elise clasps Silver's hands and begins asking questions until it is stopped by Silver's stomach growling. The duke laughs once more and leaves to get some food for his guest.

Soleanna was in mourning as the funeral procession of the duke continued towards the royal graveyard in Kingdom Valley. Where both royals and people who heroically gave their lives for Soleanna are buried in. Even the sky seemed to be mourning as gray skies and heavy rain covered the kingdom. As the procession continued a now nine years old Elise was crying in a corner as unaware adults spoke nearby. "It's such a shame that his majesty died. He was such a kind man after all." "Not really, if anything this is a good thing." "Be careful prime minister. After all people might misconstrue your words." "Well why not senator? After all Elise is a child. We can just kill her or use her as a puppet ruler and then kill her." "Free promotions day huh?" "Indeed general. And one this is done you will be greatly rewarded." "Well I want no part of it! I'm going to..." A gunshot is heard as the senator dies and a terrified Elise flees. The minister and general notice and give chase. "Well, looks like we're killing her after all."

Elise runs blindly with all her might until stumbling onto Silver whom she hugs while crying. "What's wrong princess?" "Silver... help me..." The minister and senator then show up, guns aimed at the two. The general getting cocky boasts on how he will kill Elise and how Silver is going to be a nice bonus. Outraged the hedgehog demanded an explanation. "What do you think it looks like you crazy freak! Seriously! Time travel! If it wasn't for the duke you would have sold to GUN as a lab rat. Now hand over the kid and die!" Silver glares furiously as the general continues even thought the minister tries to shut him up. Only to be tossed to the side. "Well, obey your masters orders beast." General tries to shoot but couldn't pull the trigger as his body swelled up like a balloon and his chest and stomach burst open from the inside. Spreading blood and guts all over as the man drops dead. "Elise, call security." Elise obediently nods and flees as Silver turns to the terrified prime minister. Who tries to escape, only to be paralyzed by Silver's ESP.

A year later, Silver would graduate from the Soleanna military academy with top marks. With the now Duchess Elise watching over and giving a speech. Elise herself has grown to the point where she is a head taller than Silver and now wears a white dress with a golden strap, long evening gloves and tan pantyhose who ends up hugging Silver from behind with a huge smile to the surprise of the hedgehog while the rest of the graduates look on. "You know this is kinda embarrassing Elise..." Antonio the captain of the guard steps in with everyone even Elise standing up in salute. A ghost musketeer with a glowing see thru body wearing an old French military uniform tells them to be at ease as he adjusts his square rimmed glasses. "Well i'll be if it isn't the duchess. And it seems that the stories are true. That a silver furred hedgehog was taking care of the duchess for years now." Elise looks at an embarrassed and blushing Silver as she remarks that they've known each other years and has become like an uncle and parental substitute. Antonio stares at Silver and then remarks. "Well he is a very young looking uncle. Anyways have you ever considered joining the royal guard? I'm sure that someone of your skills will be most appreciated there." Silver perks up at hearing it and asks if it can be done. "With your marks you more than qualify. I'll make the arrangements so that you can join the next class of royal guard trainees. Now be warned, this will be far more difficult than your previous training." Silver proudly saluted and stated. "I won't let you down sir!" The graduates and the princess all leave to celebrate. Joining the after graduation party.

The story then cuts to Eggman's attack on Soleanna. With Sonic and Silver now the captain of the guard boarding the rebuilt Egg carrier. The duo were blasting thru the halls of the battleship before being met by Eggman in the Egg Wyvern. A large, sleek, and heavily armed crimson dragon with the Eggmobile in the torso with a dragon head serving as extra armor. "Seriously, why won't you die?!" Sonic screams back. "Well why don't you give back Elise?!" "Well why don't you get a load of this?!" The Egg Genesis intercepts the hedgehogs as it fires its numerous missile which are tossed back by Silver. The Egg Genesis is a robotic fortress and is considered a Bolrero. A heavy armed and armored spacecraft which are larger than space fighters and mecha. But smaller than a capital ship that relies exclusively of monopole fields to not fall apart. The Genesis is a cream colored titan with four large legs joined together by a central computer shaped like the head of an E-100 robot.

"Oh, that's no good hedgehog. After all the princess is powering that badnik." Sonic tackles Eggman out of the Egg carrier telling Silver to save Elise as the two struggle as the Egg Wyvern slams into the walls until shattering one. Causing the duo to disappear from sight. Leaving Silver to fight the Egg Genesis. The Genesis notices Silver and fires beams from its leg tips that started blowing up the ship. With Silver being forced to flee from the relentless assault. Leaping from bridge to bridge as the Egg Genesis smashed thru everything in its path. "Crud! I need to stop this thing to save Elise." Silver notices the large open gates and passes thru them. Using his psychic power to shut the door on top of the super badnik. Trying to crack the thing like a nut. Genesis counters by firing off its missiles and trying to power thru the shut gate. Silver uses random junk to intercept the missiles as Silver flew to the head and trying to pry open the top of the ship. Genesis extends its arms and sprouting clawed pincers to try to stop Silver. He dodges the claws and remarks. "You would think that badnik would use the claws to get out. Before flying back and tearing out a large steel bar and uses it to smack the robot around and then bends it into a crowbar and pierce thru the frame and open the robot like a tin can shutting it down. Then getting Elise out with his telekinesis. And finishing it off by using the gate to finish crushing the Egg Genesis with a sickening crunch. Causing the remaining halves to fall down and crash into the ground.

Back in reality. The traveler from the future snaps as his fur turned gold with his bangs becoming larger, spikier, and pointing straight upwards. As well as a glowing green aura that explodes from him. Knocking away Shadow and Omega from the sheer pressure. Leaving Suzune and her fuck all giant laser completely paralyzed and stuck in place. Dispersing the beam and then charging his psychic powers to their peak. "Its. No. Use!" Then flings Suzume away at hypersonic speeds. Causing the bee woman to leave the atmosphere and gravity well. Flinging her off to depths of the space in the direction of Venus. Where Suzune finally crashes. Splashing down in an ocean full of acid. Sinking into the depths, before revealing that not only did the bee woman survived but can live in the atmosphere of Venus. Swimming off to find a place to repair herself.

Back in Mobius, Silver reverts to normal and passes out. Omega wonders. "Is that a super state?" Shadow grunts for a moment and then. "What is going on?" Omega snarks out. "A Super Sonic bargain sale?"

Castle Blade, TK-421

The four members of Team Sonic wake up inside of an office. A place that looks like something that a president or CEO of a major company would afford. Large spacious couches, a well made carpet, a pair of scrubs to the side. And on the other side a large desk with an executive chair and terminal. "Well this was unexpected. Amy remarks as she sees the others get up and look around. Tails is especially transfixed as outside the transparisteel walls of the office a large assembly plant can be seen with two spacecraft being prepared for something. Sonic and Knuckles look at the desk with the latter noticing that there are mint candies in a bowl. Causing Tails to rush to the bowl and take it with speeds that surprise the two. "Mine!" The fox then begins eating the candy. Snapping at Knuckles when he tries to take one.

"Between your chili dog and your candy obsessions i'm amazed your teeth haven't fallen out." "Yeah I know." Amy then realizes that Monika is right behind them all who then sticks out her tongue as she heads for the chair. "

So, what do you think?" The AI remarks as she plops herself on the chair. Sonic quips. "I guess being the Jiminy Cricket to the devil has its perks." Monika remains quiet for a bit before continuing. "You know, maybe I should toss back into space. Anyways sempai told me to give you these new drivers." The foursome notice their new Emeraldrivers as Monika points to the two spacecraft. "And that. After all your Arc form has been lost hasn't it." Knuckles confirms it noting that the form is badly wounded in a sense. "So this is all a replacement for the form?" "Correct Tails. Now let's go."

Kagemusha was witnessing it all from her room. Putting the finish touches on the whale shaped spaceships called the Voyager crafts. Voyager 01 was the blue and gold one and Voyager 02 was the red an brown one. The ships have the capacity to house four passengers and it has an automated piloting system which allows the ships to be summoned and to return for repairs and resupply. Focusing on the hangar's cameras and sensors. The masked woman looks on as Monika explains the Voyagers.

"Essentially the plan is to send the Voyagers to Mobius in order to drive out the Burial fleet. Afterwards you are to take the Starpatrol and aid in eliminating the Masquerade's of the Eternal now." "You're joking right?" "I'm dead serious Sonic." "No! You're full of shit! After all that you put us thru do you honestly think we will help you?!" "The entire point of the Station square meeting was to coordinate a way to stop the current IFS and allow the people to be free." "And what about you guys?"

"It is quite simple. The IFS is supposed to stand for justice." Kagemusha answered from the intercom. "We all fought to bring peace and justice to a universe that was being devoured by the Great calamity. And before that the incubators and witches. Which if left unchecked would have left the universe barren and dead." Sonic and company look at the roof with Knuckles noting. "Go on." "The incubators had no souls. Their sheer fear of death. The uncertainty of what lies beyond. Drove them to extend the universe's lifespan. Uncaring about life and its sanctity. We Reibai, were also their slaves. Until we rebelled and drove them out. Joining with like minded allies, we struck back to create a new world. But now those ideals have been corrupted, violated by our supposed allies. The IFS was supposed to be a shining city on a hill. Not an autocratic dystopia ruled by the wealthy. That is why rebel."

As much as he hated to admit it. Even Sonic had to agree with Kagemusha. "You hurt my friends. I won't forgive you for that. But I guess we can work together for now..." Suddenly alarms blared all over the castle as the Sumeragi's all scrambled to their posts. "What's going on?" Amy asked to which Monika answered. "This is bad. Zuckerberg just grew." "Grew? As in magic wand make my monster grow?" "Correct Tails. He is attacking your allies as we speak." Sonic after a moment of hesitation tells everyone to enter the ships. Which they all do as they prepare for take off. Once everything is done. Monika retreats behind the blast doors where she is met by Lepard while the connecting bridges and cables of the Voyagers are retracted and a warp gate is opened.

Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy are all seated in the passenger cabin, A rectangular room with seats on each side, a communication console in the center and an exit ramp in the back. Putting on their safety harnesses they are informed that once they reached the beach. The ship will eject your seats when that happens you will use the Emerldriver to transform into the Voyager machines. "For now focus on the three piece combination as the five piece combination is still untested and could overload." Tails wonders what will happen if it overloads. Monika simply states that the mecha will blow up worrying everyone as the ships are launched into the portal.

Back at Neo Green Hill zone

The fight between Gekkou and Zuckerberg went on as the two clashed across the coastline during sunset. With the two clashing across the beach. Crossbone swung her sword which Burial jumped away with his tentacles as he fires off lasers which are dodged as the former crosses the distance and strikes upwards which manages to pierce the latter's gut. Which Burial powering thru as he attempts to strangle the dragonkin. Bear hugging her with his arms. "Dammit! Where are my servants?" In desperation Gekkou starts to freeze the tentacles causing them to crack and forcing Burial to release her and back off. Zuckenberg then screams "Minions! Kill her!" Only to be met with silence. "Where are my minions? There was supposed to be a horde of zombie guardsmen!" He then has an ice dragon to his gut as Shadow and Silver leap above firing chaos spears and ESP blasts at him. Merlina and Shortfuse then fire off magic missiles and energy beams causing Burial to be slammed into the sand. Then Fakir launches eight knives that bind the tentacles. And Ahiru in duck form flies above him and poops on his face.

Zuckerberg struggles to get free only to find that Gekkou is preparing her finishing move by placing her emblem in her swords hilt. Covering the blade with ice and frigid wind as she holds the sword in a back handed style while folding her knees and raising her left arm forward.

"Final move! Orochi style... Kannazuki no Orochi..." "Final move! Never fear the fall!"

After pulling the cutlass' trigger it fires off eight ice dragons. With four grabbing Burial's limb and pinning him to a convenient rock outcropping as the other four run thru him causing him and the outcropping to explode. "So did we win?" Ahiru asks to the others as she lands on top of Fakir's head. The response was another massive explosion from which a revived Burial grew giant to the surprise of everyone. With a stunned Silver asking. "Did he just grow? As in magic wand make my monster grow?" To which the others silently noted as they escaped from his giant tentacles. "I will not be defeated! I will have it all! Money! Power! Bitches! It's my divine right as the child of centillionares!" Burial then fires off his laser arm piercing and glassing the beach and lighting the forest on fire. The Resistance scatters to avoid destruction at the hands of the Masquerade who is gleefully destroying everything. At least until he gets shot from behind as the Voyagers descend from the skies.

Back in the operations room Sally and Nicole continue watching the fight. With the princess having become exasperated. "Now what?!" Firewall shows up and tells everyone that they should fall back as the ships will handle the Masquerade. Sally meanwhile is hesitant at first before giving the order.

Back at the beach, Voyager 2 is keeping Burial busy as Voyager 1 deploys Sonic team who activate their drivers and are covered in light while they grow. Turning into four sentient vehicles.

"Code Titan! It's unstoppable! Racing Voyager! Tornado Voyager! Truck Voyager! Buggy Voyager!"

The four Voyager vehicles land on the shores. Sonic becomes the Racing Voyager. Which is a blue and yellow racing car with Sonic's eyes. Tails becomes the Tornado Voyager an orange and white plane whose wings open into an X form and Tails face in the front. Knuckles is the Truck Voyager. A red and cream cargo truck with a rotating dual turret with Knuckles face. And Amy is the Buggy Voyager. A pink and gold sand buggy similar to Racing Voyager only with large all terrain wheels instead of a racing fin. With the Core Voyager following close by. "This is crazy!" Knuckles remarks about their transformation. Tails comments that this is similar to Sonic Arc. While Sonic tells everyone to split up and attack. Amy goes forward first saying "Let's go everyone!" As everyone scrambles with Tails firing off his wing mounted cannons at Burial with Knuckles firing off his cannons before ramming onto his legs causing him to fall down. Which doesn't last long as his arms help him out while he connects his 44 bones with his left arm. Transforming into a bladed whip that fires off dozens of lasers which he uses on the Tornado. Which strike Tails until Sonic boosts into the sky, igniting his body and crashing into Burial's right arm lighting him on fire. Then after landing raises it's fin and fires off dozens of blades as Tails retreats. Amy races behind Burial firing off a grappling cable and circling around his extra arms causing him to fall to his side as Sonic, Knuckles, and Amy fires off their blasters all at once. They are forced to scatter when dozens of whips fire off blasts everywhere damaging all of the vehicles with Unit 2 being shot down as it shielded the others. "This is bad!" Knuckles remarks as they are pinned down by laser fire. It was then that rain suddenly began pouring that not only snuffed all of the fires but also managed to stop the lasers somehow. Burial finally breaks free and sees that his assault has been stopped and then hears a roar above as a cyan colored dragon mecha with white accents and a triple bladed tail fires off a concentrated beam of ice at Burial managing to pin him down. The dragon then spoke up. "What are you guys waiting for? Combine with the Core Voyager. NOW!" Sonic grins internally commenting. "No need to tell us twice! Let's Gattai!"

The Core Voyager pivoted downwards as the front separated and turned into legs while the wings in the thrusters swivel to the back and the tail retracts revealing a humanoid head. With Racing and Tornado Voyagers turn into the right and left arm respectively. The backs becoming shoulder pads and hands deploying from the front. With Tornado Voyager's wings and head being removed and a Sonic like helmet connects to the head. The mech then lands as Truck and Buggy Voyager stay by its side as it power ups.

Both giants stare each other down with Burial unable to hold in his fury. "Damn you, you wretched hicks!" He lunges with his whip retracted into a spear which is countered by Sonic who summons an energy buzz-saw that fends off the attacks. "You're too slow!" Then Tails joins in and fires a pair of missiles at Burials chest before jump kicking him away into the air. Knuckles taking the opportunity to shoot at him. While Amy deploys a hammer from her buggy and being spinning out and smashing burial with Knuckles switching to hard knuckles which he fires off to punch the masquerade with Voyager-Oh roundhousing burial away as Sonic, Tails, and Amy take turn swatting him away like if it was a ping pong game while Knuckles looked on. "Wow, it's like a game over there." Before Tails backhands Zuckerberg away. "I love therapy!"

Burial lifts himself once more as he turns his spear into a scythe which is sliced to pieces by Sonic's energy saws and then attacked by his restored Sonic tomahawks to attack Burial. Slowly but surely overwhelming him and putting him on the back-foot. Dodging arms and beams as Sonic and Tails systematically dismantle Burial's weaponry. Chopping off the four back arms and the left skeletal arm. And then striking him multiple times with the tomahawks. And them throwing them at Burial which ricochet back and forth across the battlefield. Striking the enemy multiple times before returning to Voyager-Oh's hands. In desperation Burial places his remaining arm forward as it explodes into meaty tendrils. Striking Voyager and shooting out acidic bile as he goes mad. "I cannot lose you little shit! I am the grandson of Barragan Nacth! The true king of the universe! My eternity! My eternal life!" Sonic finally counterattacks with his energy saw. Which after slashing of the tips of the tendrils splits into several smaller saws that shred thru the tendrils and later his arm. Causing Burial to scream in agony as more black bile flies off the arm that is now a bare stump with the remains of his arm being reduced to ground meat as Burial backs off as he staggers in pain. Screaming like a deranged maniac on how this cannot be.

"Let's go little buddy." "Right Sonic." Sonic's arm generates a large energy saw as the two leapt to the sky. Tossing it at Burial which zigzags around him while Tails charges up a powerful beam cannon. The saw then splits into multiple saws that bury themselves into his enemy firing off a massive pillar of energy that demolished Zuckenberg until creating a massive explosion and landing.

"Code break! Never fear the fall!" "Voyager Zepperion!"

Zuckenberg returns to his scra form and shrinks down as he throws a tantrum while Knuckles and Amy confront him. Burial's mask then breaks as he begins to disintegrate with his body dissolving into red lights. Panicked Burial screams, demanding to know what is going on. When Barragan's voice can be heard. "It's quite simple. You lost. Our immortality is maintained by consuming the souls of people. And once one of the Eternal now loses they are also absorbed. Of course thanks to the magical girl war I am immortal and don't need to consume souls. But I do, because they are yummy. So long my worthless descendant. You were a fool to think that you could join us." Barragan's voice then vanishes as Zuckenberg finishes disintegrating. With everyone watching it happen and reacting in horror and disgust. Sonic then breaks the silence by saying. "If the IFS wants war. Then we'll give them war." With everyone on the beach agreeing with the blue blur.

The Core Voyagers meanwhile return to Castle Blade thru another portal as the sun finishes setting and the stars come out.

Ruins of the Shujin temple

The Shujin temple had seen better days. The entire facility was in ruins and the survivors fled. Spreading across Yunasia in order to survive. Monkey Khan had made graves for deceased comrades. Dulcy, Bunker, and Porker and was performing funeral rites as Gemerl walked in and watched. But it is interrupted by a crashing noise that shakes the temple. :What the shit?!" "It came from inside! Let's go Gemerl!" "Got it brother!" The duo head inside and find that a white glowing meteor has crashed in the middle of the great hall. The duo close in with Monkey Khan wondering what the meteor is and trying to touch it. Only to be held back by the Gizoid. "Don't touch it. It could have viruses. Or be radioactive." "I think its some sort of magical shield. Khan then finally pokes it. Causing a blinding light to cover the hall. The white shield then dissipates. Revealing a badly injured Kon Konshuu. After Gemerl gives the anim a good once over he tells Khan to call for a ship.

As Khan leaves to get their smartphones he questions why a dog fell from space. "I knew I should have put my phone in my pockets instead of putting it in a bag.

Mobile colony Zeon Zum Deikun

The mobile colony Zeon Zum Deikum. The new capital of the IFS, it is a massive 100 mile long and 50 mile wide space colony built from the remains of the destroyed Incuuba. As well as strip mining the entire Animus system of the Anim federation. Eight worlds plus Animus gorge the ancient battlefield from the system was named after. Killing or displacing 30 billion people during the "mining" which is essentially blowing up worlds with Villainous class battleships. A heavily armored, heavily armed, den of sin and inequity. A hive of scum and villainy that just happens to hold some of the richest and most powerful in the universe. With the "lower classes" Being multibillionares who are ruthlessly exploited by the government and the elite atop the Ivory towers. A series of shining towers located in the exact center of the colony that holds the IFS government offices and are the headquarters of the Eternal now.

In the lower levels there are numerous facilities catering to the wealthy. Amusement parks, bars, pleasure centers, opium dens, massive roads where races take place, the Dodo farms in which they use cloning technology to revive the extinct Dodo bird. So they can sell the meat as an expensive delicacy. And hunting grounds where all kinds of illegally poached wildlife is kept in order for customers to hunt including the special course. Where slaves and prisoners are hunted by the wealthiest customers. And a good old Colosseum where gladiators fight to the death in incredible spectacles.

In the lowest levels there are the slums where massive numbers of prisoners and slaves from all of the universe are kept. Being bought, sold, and killed all through the slums. With large pens being guarded by auto-cannons and cannibalistic mutants. Products of both genetic experiments and the usage of radioactive chemicals. Docks for the massive defense fleets with a complete military garrison and munitions factory. One that covers so many levels that it goes up to the upper areas in a separate area at the front end of the colony.

Inside the Ivory towers Mami Tomoe was looking in a mirror. Having cut her hair short after being revived. She is now trapped inside the facility. Serving as the Eternal now's puppet ruler. But even with all that her thoughts are solely focused on the old days. Where she was a magical girl of justice. Gleefully ignorant of the world around. The Homu heresy changed all that. And with Sayaka and Kyoko reported dead there was no one left. Mami Tomoe was the last surviving member of the Holy quintet. And it was all Homura's fault. Whether as a magical girl, a witch, or a cyborg. She was always in the way, she was the one who ruined everything. And now even after she beat her, humiliated her, and threw her into a black hole to die. Homura Akemi still lives. Now known as the masked cyborg, Kagemusha. The other side of the transfer student. One who longed to control her fate and never need others again. Putting on a new side cape and a mask similar to Char Aznable's she leaves the bathroom and enters her office where she sees her new secretary. Anko Furude, a member of the Eternal now and Barragan's personal bitch.

And could always be seen in a business suit with a red jacket and white loose necked undershirt. Serious, stern, and unflinching. She was heavily discriminated by her fellow elves To the point that she personally oversaw their genocide on Fuu Yperite's orders. Who now uses the world as his own personal laboratory. Politely saluting her supposed commander. Mami sits down and tells her to stop. "You don't have to do that Furude-san. After all, i'm the slave here. So, what happened." Anko closed her eyes, breathed in and out for a moment and said. "Zuckenberg is dead." After a moment of silence between the two Mami replies. "The fuck?!"

The scene then switches by switching to a medical facility located in the garisson as a CR chamber opens up revealing Alex Kidd. Who seems to have survived the events of Spiral island. After walking out of the pod regaining his consciousness he hears a pair of soldiers talking to an odd creature inside of a hazard suit with the voice of an old haggard woman and strange green fog emanating from the body. "So, Mr. Stealer." "Yesss I AM Essssence Ssssstealer! And you will grant me the essssence of the powerful warriorssss in thosssse podssss!" Alek Kidd then coughs as the nervous Guardsmen demand to know what is going on. "Is that CHILD! The esssence I was promissssed?!" To which the scared Guardsmen back off and try to flee as Stealer and the two guards glow green with the latter's souls being absorbed and consumed by the former. Reducing them to withered mummified husks. "it'll do..." Alex gets into attack position to which Stealer laughs it off and tells him to calm down. After they both explain their situations Alex follows Stealer to a dark room where someone Alex knows all too well is staying. "Makina Floronix?!"

"You know him?" Stealer asked to which Alex remarked. "Yes this man hired me to kill Sonic the hedgehog." Stealer looks shocked at hearing that. As she has heard of the hero of Mobius and sought to eat his soul. Makina is a zombie who hides his form in an all concealing ruby colored hood and robes with tears and breakage kept together by numerous leather belts and an eye hole where a yellow bloodshot eye pokes out. With a large neck brace that connects to a long breathing filter that looks like an elephant nose and gives him a haggard posture and appearance. He is also the tallest and slimmest of the trio and a licensed psychologist even though he has never practiced.

Makina himself represents insanity and mental disease and truly is a doctor with a PhD in medicine and psychology. And a licensed psychiatrist. They are essentially this seasons version of the Blights which are based on animal based kaijin inspired by both the CHILD's from My-HIME and the Another Riders from Kamen Rider Zi-O. And the three now five Sumeragi generals who are based on war machines and the sky, earth, sea trinity. With Ranger being the odd one out.
