"Thank you for bringing this to me Marinette, it is invaluable. So you have any questions for me before you leave for the evening?" Master Fu said. The day had been full of revelations and even with the rejuvenating magic of his miraculous he was surprised his heart had withstood it.

"Actually, yes master. Who was that girl in here before me? Is she important?" This had been bugging Marinette since she arrived, something about the girl intrigued her, like she couldn't be scared but trusting of her, "She seemed almost-"

"Familiar? As though you know her, should be scared of her but also as though you should trust her?"

"Exactly. Who is she?"

"Why don't we let her tell us? Wayzz, could you?" Master Fu trailed off.

"Of course master." Wayzz zipped of through the ceiling and the guardian and the ladybug hero lapsed into a rather pronounced silence.

As Naia walked down the stairs she had Howell stay behind her back just as a precaution and when she walked into the main room of the building she noticed Marinette and master Fu (she decided that was only going to be sarcastic if she ever used it) sat on opposite sides of the massage bed. Naia sat down next to Marinette and held her hand out, "I'm Naia, pleased to meet you,"

Marinette took her hand, "Marinette, likewise. Um, master Fu said you were important I have no guesses as to what that means. Would you mind filling me in?"

"No problem Marinette, just a quick warning though. This will likely be shock upon shock."

Marinette playfully steeled herself and they both giggled.

"Okay. I was born in another dimension where the miraculous or magic, for the most part, didn't exist." queue squeaking, "I was the exception. I was born into a twisted family and had an ability that no one had seen before. Firstly my parents had some twisted plans for me that I wasn't privy to, secondly I was born with an editec memory so I remember everything I've ever looked at and experienced; and thirdly when I meet someone I see all the possible ways their lives could turn out, along with, until recently, my own."

Marinette was staring at the new girl as if she was trying to convince her the world was flat and was begining to succeed.

"When I turned 7, I was abandoned in a forest in a completely different country than my own. I found out that my birth was never registered and that my parents had been wanted criminals since I was 4. I spent three years in a shitty orphanage with my only happiness coming from weekly visits from the couple that had taken me to hospital. By this point only Andromeda and Thomas could stand me, by the time hey offered to foster me the people who ran that place were desperate to get rid of me and only my closeness with my pseudo dad gave me comfort. I spent 5 years working with my dad to make my visions, which he believed to be dreams, of this world, a television show."

Marinette was staring at her with so many emotions that she did not know how to gauge them all. so instead of trying to decipher her, she continued.

"2 months ago I had one of my visions only this time I heard this voice speaking through me, it made a prophecy," She relayed the prophecy to the bluenette, "I had all but forgotten about until today because I was distracted by a bigger issue, my whole life it felt like subconsciously there was a movie version of my life playing. I could always see it, but after that vision it just. Stopped. I was blind to my future. This morning I watched one of the episodes of the show I made with dad because the second season was coming out soon. I was watching Volpina."

Marinette gasped and Naia noted how Marinette was a brilliant audience to tell unbelievable things to.

"The screen went static which was weird in itself but something compelled me to touch it and I did, the next thing I knew I was in here."

The heroine looked towards master Fu and he nodded, "I brought her here with aid of the kwamis, we needed her. Hawkmoth is not as foolish as some of his akuma choices have led us to believe and I would say that the inability to purge miss Rossi of her negative emotions via the miraculous cure is an indicator of that. I have entrusted her with a miraculous, you and Chat Noir will both know her identity. Gabriel Agreste is under the impression that her parents recently died and she is to become his ward. Now I believe it is time for you to go and introduce Chat Noir to your new partner in crime."

Marinette was so overcharged that she decided 'well I guess this is just a curve ball I have to deal with now's before standing up.

"Thank you master. Tikki, Spots on!"

Her transformation was no less impressive than on screen, Naia decided. As Ladybug turned other she prepared to say her transformation que for the first time.

"Howell, you didn't tell me what to say,"

"Oops, I guess we got distracted. Simply say 'Howell, Chase the moon' and to deactivate you can say 'Yield the night'." Howell giggled.

"Howell, Chase the moon!"

As Howell inhabited the circlet, the circle of obsidian turned ivory white and twisted itself amongst her hair until it was neatly braided. her ears hummed with a distant howling as a second set of black wolf ears twitches on her head. She crouched low and jumped into a backflip, pulling her hands from her feet, over her legs and torso, across her face and stretching out above her. She felt her suit from across her skin and her eyes tingled momentarily and a bow appeared on her back. As she landed a pair of knee high boots and a panel of fabric forming a tail joined onto her suit.

She stopped crouched low before springing to her feet and checked herself out in the mirror in the room. She was dressed in tones of grey and dusty blue, with black boots and silver lines chasing along, up her curves. Her mask was feathered around the edges and curved roundly at the tip of her nose. Her irises had changed from chunks of lead to pools silver and her pupils were slits.

She turned to face the other two in the room, Fu was smiling at her, which grated at her nerves. She did not like him very much. Marinette however was checking her and her outfit out. She hoped she had not caused Marinette to start questioning her sexuality because as much as Naia like girls as well as guys, Adrienette had always had always been and would always be her OTP.

"What are you waiting for super red bug, we got a cat to chat with."

Marinette groaned, "Not you too, you were almost cool."

"Don't worry buginette. Thay was a one off awful pun, my jokes are much better than that. I just couldn't resist."

As Cat Noir waited for his lady he contemplated what she had said:

"There is a huge surprise in store for you, but I think you'll like it"

He had if course told her that any gift from her would be delightful only to be told that 1) it wasn't a gift 2) it wasn't from her but from the person who gave them the miraculous.

He was shocked to see the girl of his thoughts as well as another one dressed as a hero drop down from above him. He could always tell when someone was coming, he was a cat, but somehow these two had got the drop on him. So of course, he yelled in surprise and unintentionally fell on his ass.

"Ack!" the girls laughed.

"I told you it would be worth it," the unfamiliar girl giggled,

"I have to admit I've only once been able to surprise him like that and I didn't even get the chance to enjoy it be ause I caught myself in the trap too!" Ladybug managed to wheeze out between near hysterical laughs.

Cat Noir pouted as he got up and said, "And who may this be milady? I believe our last partner was not such, was this damsel kidnapped and replaced by an akuma and you've only just been able to be her knight and rescue her?"

The girl got serious, "More like I arrived two hours ago and am adjusting to a new life in record time. The names Lycanthria, at least that's what I'll be known as by civilians."

Adrien reflected her demeanor as he turned to confirm with his partner.

"She's legit. More than you'd expect. She was chosen by the same one who chose us, and she gas a story to tell you that you may not believe but is 100% true."

As Naia recounted her tale, Adrien had multiple realisations. This girl 1) was apparently the one his father had told him was moving in with them, 2) she apparently knew his identity, 3) she knew ladybugs identity and 4) SHE KNEW THE FUCKING FUTURE. He was sure there had been more but there was a lot to process and some of it got lost in translation.

By the time all the kinks were worked out the sun was going to set by the time he got home. Adrien stood up from the rooftop they were on and prepared to get home but waited for a minute.

"I better get off," Ladybug began, "I have tons to do before I sleep. Can you make sure Naia finds her way to her new home alright kitty?"

"Sure thing Bugaboo."

"I told you, no more Bugaboo calling."

"Alright Bugaboo," he jumped to avoid his ladies yoyo, "Come on Lycanthria, it's time to head home."

He turned to face his new roommate and saw the smirk on her face and responded with one in turn, "Think you can keep up?"

She grinned, "The only reason I won't be ahead is because I don't know the way."

Naia proved herself right too, she had clipped Adrien's heels multiple times in the roof top run. As she bade goodbye to Adrien she dropped down to the side of the Agreste home and transformed quietly. Her olive skin glowed in the setting sunlight and she walked around the corner to ring the doorbell.

"This is Natalie Sancouer, what may I do for you." a woman's voice rang out as the security camera popped up.

"Hello, I'm Naia Callisto, here to move in?" she responded, trying not to be weirded out by the massive ball on a stick that was in her face.

"Enter, Mr Agreste will greet you."

"Thank you ma'am." the gate swung open and she walked up the drive and into the house.

Naia had not realised it but she was still wearing the same shirt, leggings and trainers that she had on when she was watching TV earlier that day. She looked up at Gabriel Agreste who was at the top of the stairs looking over her with a critical eye.

"Hello sir, how have you been?" she asked politely. As much as she hated him for terrorising the city, she did respect his motives.

"I have been well miss Callisto, I hope you have been?"

"likewise," she responded curtly.

Gabriel wasted no time, "Natalie will escort you to your room, you will wash up for dinner and eat with my son, Adrien. You are to inform Natalie of your extra curricular activities you partake in or would like to and you are to participate in photoshoots for my brand along side Adrien."

"Yes sir."

"Good." Gabriel walked into his office and the door closed behind him.

Natalie walked towards her and they fell into step as she guided Naia to a door next to Adrien's.

The room was bare but there was stuff that obviously belonged to her in this world, such as a phone, and clothes. A guitar and a bookshelf. There was a TV and sofa; it was almost like a slightly girlier or gender neutral version of Adrien's room.

"By the way Natalie, I sing, play guitar, do mixed martial arts, know fencing and archer and can draw. I'm multilingual already so you don't need language lessons. Select what you'd like for my activities, I know I cant do them all currently." Naia said as she walked towards her bed.

"Very well Naia. You're expected at dinner in half an hour but as mr Agreste will not be joining you, you and Adrien may eat up here. Do you have any preferences?" Natalie said in an almost natural but slightly robotic voice.

"Yes, is was hoping I could have Spaghetti Olio for dinner. It's an Italian dish topped with parmesan, garlic and olive oil. Dad and I, we would always make it together." She said getting caught up in the memories. She would never see her dad again. She knew there was a Thomas Austruc in this world but he didn't know she existed.

"Very well. I'll leave you to your own devices," Natalie called as she exited the room.

Adrien knocked on Naia's door and was let in.

"Hey, I'm Adrien. You must be my new sister," Naia seemed to wipe her eyes before looking up to face him,

"Hey kitty, there's no point trying to hide it. The cat was already out of the bag on this one." Adrien laughed.

"Wow cat puns, a new sister and a confidant for being a superhero? I hit the jackpot on this one!"
