Adrien sat in Naia's room as she she tuned her guitar,

"You know, my mother used to be an actress; She even starred in this rare old movie." He commented.

"Mm-Hm? Let me guess, it's being played today and you wanna go see it but you don't know of Gabe will let you?" She said distractedly.

"Yeah, I'm gonna go down and try to ask, but even if I can't I'm going any way." He looked defiantly at the door before standing up and made to walk out of the room.

"Adrien?" Naia called, "Don't forget a hoodie and pepper spray. That ridiculous advert has made you the most famous face in all of paris. Maybe mess your hair up and trade the orange shoes for another colour while you're at it."

Naia was just playing around on her guitar when Gabriel walked in. 'Rude much, what if I was changing?' she thought internally.

"Where's Adrien?" He demanded.

She bit back the urge to just go 'Maybe he finally ran away from this shitty hellhole and went to live with the Dupain Chengs where can finally be happy.' and instead politely said,

"As far as I know he's practicing piano. Why? Is he not here?"

"Adrien has left his room and the house. Do you have any idea where he could be?" Gabriel pushed.

She stared straight at him with icy, dead, black eyes, "Your son wanted to go see the screening of his mother's movie that will be playing downtown but was to nervous to ask you outright because you've grown so distant. I assume he's snuck out to see it though he may have been accosted by one or multiple of his fans."

Gabriel looked startled at the thought and offended by her words. She had always been brisk around him, yes, but always respectful, yet now she seemed to be describing him in unflattering manners without saying anything bad or even in a bad tone of voice. He walked to the door and paused in the frame,

"I too have noticed our, our distance. It has driven me to believe some crazy things. I've even suspected him of being Cat Noir at times."

Naia hid her anxiety about this -not quite a-revalation behind a laugh, "I'm sorry to laugh but the concept of Adrien - cinnamon roll - Agreste prancing around in a skin tight leather cat suit is too hilarious not to laugh at. I cannot imagine Adrien flirting with anyone, much less with Ladybug; and besides, we were both in the garden hiding when you were akumatized. "

Gabriel turned and walked out of the room as if he hadn't heard her and Naia heard his phone ring as he entered his office. Naia knew just what was coming next, so she grabbed a pack of crisps and a cookie, shoved them in her pockets and whispered,

"Howell, chase the moon!"

Naia made her way to the theatre that she knew Adrien was going to be taken hostage from and crouched on the roof of a few buildings over. She saw a giant blue gorilla lumbering towards her and kept her eyes trained on it. . . until she got distracted by the clusterfuck going on by the theatre doors, Adrien had been spotted.

The gorilla loomed over the theatre and punched in the roof. He reached in and grabbed a boy wearing a helmet and a blue hoodie. He began lumbering away and Lycanthria followed as stealthily as she could whilst Ladybug, oblivious to her presence, went for a frontal attack.

The wolf heroine kept up with the akumatized bodyguard and her fellow heroes, one of which was untransformed, and arrived at a building next to the Montparnasse tower. She watched as Ladybug called her lucky charm and began to unpack it but was caught before she could fully understand what she was supposed to do. Naia tensed and waited, ready to spring into action and watched, stressed as Ladybug freed herself and got Adrien in a position where he could jump. He did.

Marinette went to follow him and Naia considered catching Adrien as soon as that became apparent, instead she took a deep breath and kept her eyes flicking back and forth between her brother's falling form and Gorizilla's fist.

"Cat Noir, Lupa, help!" Ladybug screamed and Damien dropped her.

Lycanthria leapt from the rooftop and caught her brother before jamming her knife into the side of the tower to slow their descent. as they got about 25 feet from the group of terrified citizens she jumped over the assembled crowd and returned to the ground with a soft exhale.

"Thank you N-Lycanthria," Adrien exhaled before getting dragged into a hug from his stalker friend, Wayhem.

"Adrien! Your safe!"

Ladybug landed next to them as her bearings began to flash. Naia pointed that out to her,

"What does that mean?" Adrien asked,

"It means it wont be long before I transform back," she said with a nervous smile.

Wayhem straitened himself, "You can leave Ladybug, I'll keep him at-"

"Sorry but that won't be necessary," The protective sister cut in, "Come on Red, I have something that you can recharge with." She took the motorcycle helmet from Wayhen, pushed it onto Adrien's head and the two heroines dashed away from the supervillain across he roof tops.

They paused about 3 miles away, Naia summoned her quiver and pulled out her cookie and tossed it like a coin to Ladybug, "Duck out of view over their LB, I'll keep watch." she pointed to a chimney several feet away. Ladybug did as she was told and Naia quickly turned to Adrien and steered him even further away as she whispered,

"Do not transform, do not try to get away. Gabe suspects you might be Cat Noir and we need to trick him into thinking it's impossible. Sadly we cant borrow the fox miraculous temporarily or it would be so easy but luckily I have another idea that I'll explain in a minute when we can get away from super red."

Said hero reemerged seconds later and spoke to them, "D'you have any idea where his Akuma could be or how to get it?" Adrien, who had taken off the helmet, shrugged and Naia took her chance,

"I'm rolling a zero on the first one LB," she winked and side eyed Adrien to signify that she knew but couldn't say in present company - or so Ladybug thought, "But I may be able to help out on the second there," She returned her bow to a knife and plunged it into the floor,

"Call of the wild!"

Naia turned as if someone was trying to steer her vision, "There.'' She pointed directly at the underground, "We lure Gorizilla there and have Cat Noir cataclysm the ground beneath it. The monster falls through and you, who is waiting down there, lucky charm in hand, search his pockets for the akuma. You purify it, call the miracle cure, the day is saved, hooray!"

Ladybug stared at her and nodded once after 2 seconds of scrutiny. Adrien cut in,

"What if Cat Noir doesn't turn up?"

They both turned to him, Naia giving him a death glare and Ladybug trying to look encouraging,

"Oh he will, I trust him." She didn't see The 2 siblings staring each other down and Adrien losing, big time.

Ladybug swung into the underground station and her call of 'Lucky Charm' echoed around outside as the two siblings landed in the street.

"Adrien!" a shrill male voice screamed and the 2 of them saw Wayhem cycling towards them. Naia smirked, just as she had seen. She let him pull up to them before speaking,

"Woukd you mind helping a couple of heroes out? Adrien here needs to hide, but we need someone like him to help lure Gorizilla here. Would you be able to do that for us?" he nodded fervently. She took his life size Adrien cutout, which he had somehow still held on to and sliced off the head. The 2 boys both winced but she paid no mind. She grabbed the helmet and, after stabbing peep holes through the eyes, stuffed the cardboard head into the front and handed it to the fanboy.

"Put that on and kick a couple cars or something until the brute turns up. Then, hide." she said sternly before grabbing Adrien around the waist and scaling a building in 5 seconds. They paused and Naia detrandformed safely out of view.

"Transform, kick his ass and come back here. I'll take you back to the mansion as Lycanthria and drop you off at your bedroom, Gabe will be waiting btw. But for now I'm letting Howell recharge whilst you do the second simplest part of this battle." Adrien nodded once and transformed as fast as he could.

Naia snuck a peek at the battle every 30 seconds whilst the 2 wolf like beings shared a pack of crisps. Soon enough the miraculous ladybugs were zipping across Paris and Cat Noir bounded up to her before detransforming,

"Can you stop down there by Wayhem? I wanna say thank you." She nodded and transformed. One hug and an exchange of email address later, Lycanthria was carrying Adrien into his window and letting him down whilst his father sat on the sofa as stiff as a piece of Lego. Naia turned to him and spoke with a concerned voice,

"Your son was the target of his akumatised bodyguard today. I hope you take into account that hey both just wanted to do something that they felt was right today and don't punish them." Gabriel turned to ask what she meant but she continued, "Adrien told me as much as he could and he clearly just wanted to feel more connected to his mother. His bodyguard was simply going the best he could to do his job. Now if you'll excuse me I must be off."

And with that she vaulted out of the window and over the house before looping back around and entering her room.
