Harry was thinking about how to start the task that death had given him. When he heard someone sit down in front of him. Looking up, he saw a beautiful woman with dark blue hair and blue skin. Her hair looked like it was the night sky with stars and constellations slowly drifting by inside. She was wearing a tiara with a sun as the center piece and a glowing gold robe. Even while she was sitting, Harry could tell that she was only a little shorter than Death.

"Life, I assume." Harry said with a dry tone.

"Yes," she said amused. "I'm here to make the body you have chosen." She said while reaching into her robe and pulling out a glowing ice grey strand and a strand glowing orange with yellow flickering inside. She held them in opposite hands and examined them closely before pressing the ends together and twisting them together. When she made it to the ends of the strands, they started glowing. After the glow faded, it revealed that they had merged together, making a dark yellow strand.

"Hmm, that won't do." She said, staring at the strand. Then, looking up at Harry with a critical eye, she said. "That will work." While reaching over to his chest and plunging her hand into his chest. She wiggled her hand around before grinning while saying, "There you are." She started to pull out a bright white strand.

After the strand reached 7 inches, it snapped, Harry gasped, feeling something jolt in his chest, and patted his chest to make sure there wasn't a hole. She brought the white strand to the dark yellow strand and started twisting the strands together. "What was that for?!" Harry yelled. "It's so this body can handle your core." Was her distracted response. The strands started to glow as they were twisted together when the strands finished glowing, they revealed a single bright yellow strand. "That's better." she smiled while examining the new strand, turning it and looking at it from all sides.

When she was satisfied, she cuped the strand in her hands and breathed dark blue mist onto it. The strand changed to an emerald green color and started to glow softly as it floated off her hands. The strand started to shift and bulge while spinning in place until it settled into a double helix shape.

"Good." Life said, clapping happily. "Now, it can handle any increase in strength that you might obtain." She said while watching as a body slowly started to form from the strand. It started with the skeleton working its way up from the feet. Once the skull was completely formed, the nerves and muscles started from the head down. Then, the organs were formed, and finally, the skin covered the body.

"That was something else." Harry thought slightly disgusted. Stepping closer, he looked at the body he asked. "Will I need glasses in this one?"

"No, I fixed that little issue. In this body, you will have perfect vision." Life calmly said.

"That's good." Harry sighed. "These things really got in the way and always broke at the worst time." He said while tapping his glasses with one finger.

"Yes, that was my thought as well." Life said. "Now, there are some things you will need to know about your new bloodlines. The Blackfyres are an offshoot of the Targaryens, but they are also badly crippled from generations of inbreeding. However the person who donated the DNA sample was a few generations from being that inbred. So the most glaring problems have resolved themselves.Their natural magical gifts sometimes show through in the form of prophetic dreams or natural skill with a weapon.

The Greystarks are an offshoot of the Starks. They also have the wolfs blood as they like to call it. The magic running through their veins means that they are naturals in magic, often using it unconsciously. Though the main branch of house Stark is wild as children and hot headed as adults, the Greystarks show their wolfs blood differently. Instead of being wild children, they are the fiercest fighters naturally able to master any weapon that they pour their hearts into.

These bloodlines will help you master magic and weapons. However, you might have a little trouble when you get there." Looking at Harry, she saw that he wasn't paying attention. She stood up behind Harry as the train stopped leading him to the door and opening it, showing a white void. Harry was looking at the body and poking it.

"So, how do I get in this thing?" He asked.

"Like this." Life said as she pushed him into the body, sending them both into the void. The last thing Harry heard was life laughing as he blacked out.

"That was mean."

Life heard a voice behind her. Still chuckling, she turned to see Death standing behind her. "Maybe, but he should have been paying attention besides it was funny." Life said, still chuckling. Death laughed a little bit.

"Yes, it was," he said. They both fell silent, looking into the void watching as Harry in his new body was recovered and saved by some passing sailors.

"Do you think he can help?" Life asked.

"I hope so." Death said. "Something in this timeline has changed things drastically. I don't know what it is or how it was done, but Harry has a habit of doing incredible things."Life nudged Deaths ribs with her elbow.

"My my, that's a lot of faith you're placing on a mortal." She said. Death chuckled.

"What do you expect he is my master." Life sighed.

"I still don't know why you made those things it was very irresponsible."

"It was necessary." Was Deaths response. "Necessary how?" Life asked.

"I could explain it to you, but I doubt you would understand." Death teased. Life mock gasped and lightly punched his arm.

"I would, too." She said.

"No, you wouldn't." He said.

"Would too." life said.

"Would not." Death said. As they started to fade with the sounds of their friendly bickering echoing into the void.

When Harry awoke, it was to the smell of herbs and something cooking. He tried to sit up but felt weak, then he heard a woman's voice saying.

"Easy there, lad, you had a lot of injuries when you arrived."Harry slowly opened his eyes to see a blurry figure.

"Where am I?" he croaked.

"You are in Teirm. Here you are, drink slowly." The woman said.

"Thank you," Harry thanked, taking the glass and drinking slowly. The water soothed his parched throat, but the soreness remained. He started blinking his eyes to clear them. When his vision cleared, he saw an older woman with greying hair with brown eyes and wrinkles around her eyes. She was wearing a long gown with a sleeveless tunic and wimples to cover her hair. She was also wearing leather boots, which were covered with wooden patens. As she walked, the patens made a clicking sound. He tried to speak but could only cough.

"Here, drink this," she said. As she held a cup up to his lips. He took a gulp of the tea. "Slowly," she said. "Take your time, You've been out for a few days." The tea soothed his sore throat.

"How long have I been here?" He asked.

"You have been unconscious for three days," was her reply."

"Three days I haven't felt like this since after the last battle of the war." He thought to himself while checking his magical core to find that it had been drained to dangerous levels almost completely empty.

"What happened to you, lad? The merchant who brought you here said that they found you floating in the ocean." The woman questioned.

"Ocean." he thought. "Where am I?" He asked again.

"You are in Teirm." she replied.

"Teirm, where is that?" Harry asked.

"It's about a months ride from Dras- Leona, so can you tell me your name?" She asked kindly.

"Alright, why is she calling me lad." he thought. "My name is Harold, but my friends call me Harry. Can I have some more water?" He asked.

"Of course," the woman said as she took his cup and refilled it.

"Thank you," Harry said as he caught a glimpse of a young man in the reflection of the water. The young man had handsome features, high cheekbones, and a narrow jaw. He had long ebony black hair and amethyst purple eyes. He young man had broad shoulders. It took him a few minutes before he recognized that it was his new reflection that he was looking at. "What happened? I look like I'm 16." He thought.

"Are you ok, Harry? Are your injuries hurting." The older woman questioned.

"No, nothing like that. I feel fine. Just a little sore." he assured the woman.

"That's good with those injuries. I wasn't sure if you were going to make it." The woman breathed in relief.

"Thank you for healing me," Harry said as he took a look around the room for the first time it was built with what looked like timber. It had projecting first-floor jetties and some elaborate decorative features. With carved barge boards to gables and oriel windows. The windows were covered in white curtains swaying in the breeze. He could smell the salt air coming through the window. He could also hear merchants shouting outside trying to sell their wares to people passing by their stalls. "So you know my name will you tell me yours?" Harry asked.

"It's Helen." Was her response. "Can you tell me what happened to you?" Helen asked.

"I don't really remember," Harry lied. "The last thing I remember is falling and then pain. After that, I woke up here." Making up the story on the spot, he kept it as close to the truth as possible to prevent making any mistakes.

"Sounds like you were a possible victim of pirates they have been attacking ships around here with increasing frequency recently." Helen said. "You were lucky to get away with your life. Usually, when they attack a ship, they make sure there are no survivors."

"I don't feel that lucky." Harry sighed.

"That's just the injuries talking." She gently rebutted.

"Thank you for taking care of me, Helen." Harry said with sincerity. His eyes were starting to feel heavy.

"Just rest now, Harry. You still have some recovering to do. I'll wake you up tomorrow." She assured.

"Alright, I'll just take a little nap and then get up." He thought as he fell asleep.

"Poor kid." Helen thought. "He just lost everything and is alone now. I hope he can recover from this," she thought. As she changed the bandages on his injuries. "Good, they look like they are healing perfectly." She thought as she finished changing the bandages, collected the bloody used ones to dispose of, and then left the room.

After she closed the door, Harry opened his eyes and thought. "Finally, I actually almost fell asleep. She is good at her job." He thought as he limped over to his old clothes searching through them. "Where is it?" He asked himself. Feeling a lump in the robe pocket, he pulled it out to find his wand."There you are." He thought triumphantly, feeling the pleasent warmth from his old, faithful friend.

He gave it a wave and colorful sparks started flowing from the tip. With some concentration and help from his occlumency, he recalled the wand movements for a healing spell. Going through the movements silently, he healed his more serious injuries. Then he climbed back into bed, keeping his wand with him he tucked it underneath his pillow and slowly fell asleep. The next morning, he woke up early and blindly groped for his glasses for a few seconds.

Then he remembered that he did not need them anymore. Sighing, he sat up, grimacing in pain. Once he was fully upright, he noticed a figure in the shadows. He sighed. "Death, what are you doing here?"

"I want to apologize for Lifes little joke while sending you here. She sometimes forgets that mortals are not as durable as she is used to." Death said, sounding equally exasperated and amused.

"It's fine. I suppose it was a shock waking up in the air falling into the sea." Harry sarcasticly assured.

"Regardless, she has left something in the basement to make up for it." Death said as he stepped back into the shadows, disappearing.

"The basement." Harry said, confused. Standing up and pulling his wand out from beneath the pillow. He promptly smacked his hand into the headboard while turning dropping his wand. He scrambled to catch it before it fell to the floor. When he caught it, he held it up, sighing in relief he took a step forward and tripped. Smacking face first into the floor. Groaning, he thought, "I have a brand new respect for tonks now. I don't know how she did this so often. The center of balance is all wrong, and all my limbs are too long." He sat up and held the wand in the flat of his palm and said point me basement.

The wand spun in place for a second before pointing downstairs. Following the wand, he almost silently made his way through the house, only bumping into the chair and smacking his toes on nearly every surface in the room. The early morning light provides just enough light to keep him from knocking anything over. He made his way outside, followed to wand around back to see a cellar door with a lock on it. Alohomora, the lock popped open. After removing it, he opened the door and promply cast silencio, and the squealing hinges stopped abruptly.

After making sure that nobody was coming, he went to step inside and tripped over the steps, falling face first to the floor. Looking up from the floor, he saw a ladder. After fumbling down the ladder, only slipping once he entered the basment room inside, he saw herbs hanging up and drying along with a shelf full of bottles. Carefully making his way over to the shelf, reading the labels, he was surprised to find one that said dittany.

Getting over his surprise, he reached to grab the one labeled essence of dittany managing to smack his hand into the shelf, almost knocking it over before he managed to grab the potion. After he had the potion, he carefully climbed back up the ladder to exit the basement, then he closed the door and put the lock back on. As he was leaving, he remembered to remove the silencing spells from the hinges before leaving. Once he made it back to his room, only bumping into a few items, he looked at the potion and thought. "Essence of dittany, you are a lifesaver."

As he lossened his bandages revealing his less serious wounds. He uncorked the potion before dripping the potion on the wounds and watching them heal before his eyes, not even leaving a scar. Then he put the bottle in his robe pocket before tightening the bandages agian. As he walked back to the bed, he again tripped over his feet, landing on the bed. He sighed and shifted around so that his head was on the pillows and closed his eyes, he thought.

"That was harder than it had to be. It's going to take a while before I'm used to this new body." He sighed. "I should check on my core and make sure it wasn't damaged in the transfer." He started to clear his mind to start using occlumency when his mind was clear he took a deep breath and dived into his mindscape. When he arrived, he saw Hogwarts in all her glory before the war with muggles. "I should really get to updating this place it doesn't include the renovations I had done." He mused, looking around the outside of the castle. "Everything looks good so far," he thought, looking around the grounds.

He saw the black lakes' water levels were low, indicating his low magic levels. He also saw the forbidden forest. Everything looked perfect and serene. "I better check the rest," he thought as he concentrated and lifted off the ground. With a thought, he flew towards the castle, passing the Womping Willow heading towards the front gate.

When he arrived, the gate was bent, and the stone pathway was destroyed. Of course, he sighed as he waved his hand to fix the damage and continued up the path to the front door. "Strange, he thought I expected more damage than this." As he arrived at the doors to the great hall and opened them to see the inside of the entrance destroyed. Looking around at the devastation.

"Shit." He cursed. "I just had to say something." The flagstone floor was cracked with massive holes spreading unevenly throughout. The torches lining the walls were gone, nothing but scorch marks, marking where they used to be. The stone walls were crumbling, and the marble staircase was falling apart. "It's going to take me forever to fix this." He thought. Looking around, he sighed. He jumped to the second floor, heading towards the girls' bathroom.

As he entered the bathroom, he started heading towards the sink. Once he was in front of the tap with a snake on it, he hissed Hedwig. He watched as the sink started to sink into the ground and open. Waiting for the sink to finish opening, he thought about how he first found the sink and the entrance it hid. Once it was fully open, he jumped down, sliding to the bottom. Emerging in a caven covered in bones, he ignored the crunching sounds of his steps.

As he started heading to the next chamber, he passed multiple tunnels at the end of one he saw a door with snakes on it. Daphne, he hissed, not stopping in his approach to the door. Slipping past it once the door had finished opening, he entered the chamber of secrets. It was a huge temple-like room with pillars and carved serpents. There is a massive statue of Salazar Slytherin at the far end of the room.

From which a basilisk comes when summoned. He liked to call her Juliet. He started looking around the chamber and thought it seemed to have escaped the worst of the effects from the trip through the veil. "At least these rooms are ok," he thought, heading towards the statue of Slytherin. Lillian he hissed, waiting for the statues mouth to open before climbing inside one, two, three, four, he counted his steps before stopping.

He started pressing on the roof of the mouth in a specific order. He waited for the secret compartment to open. Then climbed in, looking around the dark cavern he found himself in, he hissed Sirius. As he said this, the cavern lit up, revealing an orb in the middle of the room. He moved to the orb while hissing James to disable the traps in the room.

As he looked at the orb, he noticed that it was twice as big as the last time he checked and that it was barely glowing with a light green light along the bottom. The rest of the orb was dark, showing his magic levels were low. He examined the orb looking for any defects or imperfections showing where his core would be damaged. "Perfect, the only change is the color on my magic, which was to be expected." He thought seeing that there was no damage. He exited the room, enabling the traps on the way out.

He entered the chamber. Looking at the minor damage, he started to fix what he could. As the pieces flowed back to where they belonged, he heard someone calling him. "That must be Helen. I better finish up." He sped up the process until the chamber looked like it was just built. Then he left, relocking the doors and sealing the entrance. He then exited his mindscape. When he opened his eyes, he saw Helen looking worried.

"Are you ok, Harry? I've been trying to wake you up for a while." She asked.

"I'm ok, just exhausted from the attack." Harry assured her. Helen visibly relaxed.

"That's normal." She sighed, "You'll feel better if you eat something." She claimed. "Let me go get some of the lunch left over. I'll be back in a minute." Harry heard rustling and clattering coming from the front room before Helen came back into the room while holding a tray. With soup and bread on it.

"Smells good." Harry said. While sitting up.

"Eat this slowly, or you'll just throw it up." Helen told him while gently setting the tray down.

"I will." He assured as he took the tray and started to slowly eat. "This is good." He complimented Helen.

"Thank you." She said. "You can get good at anything if you practice long enough." Harry laughed a little.

"That's true enough. Thank you for the food. Is there somewhere I can get some books?" He asked.

"Yes, there is a bookstore down the street, but I strongly advise agianst that. You still need time to heal." She answered. He sighed.

"Alright, I'll give it a few days before I head over to the store." Helen patted his soulder.

"Good, that will give you time to heal and think about what you are going to do after you leave here." She said.

"Thank you, Helen." Harry, once agian thanked her. Over the next few days, Harry worked hard on mastering his new body. As he thought it was not easy, getting used to the new balance or length of his limbs.

However, what he had not accounted for was that the muscles and nerves processed information differently than he was used to. Getting used to that was far more difficult than getting used to his new height and weight. By the end of the week however he had managed to get semi used to his body he would not win any contests on how gracefully he could move, but he did not bump into anything anymore nor did he trip over his own feet.

He was finally ready to make the trip to the store but Helen was still not sure he was ready. After a couple of days of pleading with her, she finally reluctantly agreed.

"I'll be ok. It's just down the street just there and back." He pleaded.

"Fine." Helen sighed. "Just there and back," she reluctantly agreed.

"Great, thank you. I'll be right back." He said, his face visibly brightening. He made a show of struggling to get up before finally standing up. He slowly started to dress in his clothes, making sure to seem to struggle. When he was done, he started walking to the door, stepping through to the outside. Breathing freash air for the first time in days. "That woman is just as bad as Poppy was when she was the nurse at the field hospital. I haven't had to beg like that in centuries. It was refreshing not to be treated like a god or king."

He thought while he looked around to see that Teirm was encircled by a white wall a hundred feet tall. He approached one of the merchants and asked him how to get out of the city.

"There are two main gates, one on the western side of the city, facing the sea, the other on the southern side, opening to the road." The merchant said. As Harry continued to explore the city, he approached the northeast sector of the city.

He saw a towering building when he got closer he saw that it was a citadel, which housed the lighthouse. He also noticed that the city's buildings grew progressively taller from the outside in with the tallest buildings near the citadel. He headed to the western gate to see if he could find the open market. When he got there, he noticed that the wall surrounding the city wasn't just tall it was thick as well it looked like it was thirty feet at least.

Looking around, he finally spotted the market starting towards it. He was able to hear the merchants at the stall calling to the people passing by trying to sell their wares. After he entered, he started slowly walking down the street. Taking time to look at the stalls the merchants had up, examining their wares before moving on. He stopped at a merchant trying to sell jewelry and asked.

"Why are the buildings so low here but get taller the further in you go?" The merchant responds with a distracted answer, still trying to sell his wares.

"The city was built like this so that pirate attacks could be easily repelled." The merchant replied. "Of course, the merchant continued. "With the layout of the city like this, it makes it easy for thieves to run along the rooftops."

"Fascinating," Harry said, "Thank you for satisfying my curiosity." he said while he walked away slowly. Seemingly injured, grimacing in faux pain every now and agian.

"I hope whoever has been watching me makes a move soon. I would hate to have wasted my time waiting at Helens or wandering around out here pretending to be hurt." It wasn't long before he picked up a tail. "That's perfect." He thought. "I've been out here all day, but the second I enter the market, I pick up a tail in minutes, and not even by the people I want to follow me.

Still, this should force them out of hiding and allow me to start gathering some information." He thought while keeping his hands hidden from view palming his wand.
