14. Fight Song

Jenna and the twins would end up getting transported to Saint Thomas the next day. But It would take three months for the twins to come home. Jenna was stretching herself thin doing everything she was doing for herself, The business and the kids. Happy, Jax, and a few other club members along with Gemma always came to check on her and the kids. Today was Abel's birthday and Jenna had yet to go to bed. She was still decorating the cake and sweets for the party when her three am feeding went off. Jenna let our a yawn and rubbed her eyes. This was going to be a long day and she was already exhausted. Happy shook his head and wondered what else was already done. He was the dim light in the twin's nursey and peeked in the door way. It was nice to see Jenna sleeping because he rarely saw it unless she just passed out from a sugar crash or just couldn't keep her eyes open. Jenna looked at it and thought that could be fun later when the kids sugar crash since they were having the Party earlier since it was going to be a hot summer day. The kids could enjoy the pool and all the fun little things in the back yard. The only reason she had all the backyard space she did to do stuff like this was because they took down the fence in between her house and Opie's. Happy smiled at her and watched Abel try to pick it up.

Abel stuck his head up out of the box and looked at Happy and his mom in shock and awe on the base of the hoverboard was his name in white. He looked like he wanted to cry because both parents had protested it., but both came to the agreement if Jax was going to get him a dirt bike to start racing since he loved to do the Bmx Races at the park, she could get him this. Abel started to cry a bit and got out of the box hugging his mom. Jenna knelt down and held her son

"What's wrong buddy?"

She lipped to Happy to get her phone on the counter of the kitchen. Abel sobbed on her shoulder for a minute, giving happy enough time to come back to film. Jenna was rubbing his back trying to calm him down.

"I am glad you like it. You have been a good big brother and you haven't given any adults attitudes and you have been a champ while mommy has been trying to figure out everything so your dad and I agreed you deserved it. But there are rules."

Abel looked at her wiping his eyes

"Whatever they are I agree to them. I am just so Happy I got one. All my friends have one and I felt left out."

"Well hear me out first. First rule is you can ride it but you can only ride it along mine and Uncle Opie's property line and always be in eye sight on it. Second rule no tablet no food no drink no distractions because you are to valuable to get injured got it."

"I got it mom can I ride it for a bit at least till you and Happy are done in here."

"but when we are done your done and back to bed cause tomorrow is gonna be busy and your gonna have so much fun. "

"Sounds about right. Who else's permission did you ask?"

"Your brother's and Abel's that was it. I would of asked Jax but that seemed like a bad idea" as she lit his own cigarette.

Jenna nodded her head crossing her arms watching Abel just enjoying his gift.

"Yeah probably is a bad idea. Besides it's not like I am his to give away. Maybe in club standards but I am pretty sure everyone knows it over and that you and I are together pretty much."

"I was trying to be respectful for the MC."

Abel stopped on his hoverboard looking at his mom

"That's a five in the swear jar mom."

"Jenna I totally get it I am just following your lead on this because even though you say you don't care you do. I respect and understand that. I've watched you fight through hell and back and still have his back when he was wrong. So I know you care about his opinion."

Jenna rolled her eyes at him and glared at him.

"you know I liked you for a moment. But please don't defend him or tell me how I feel. I know I care because he gave me my kids. But I have a right to a life without him since he's had so many without me."

These words were saddening. But its how she felt. She was feeling empowered to live a life for herself and not for others anymore. Happy just nodded his head as Abel started to yawn. Jenna put out her smoke.

"All right I think you are gonna make yourself dizzy and get sick. Plus you need to get some sleep. You can ride it in the morning in the garage after I pull my truck out."

Abel let out another yawn and nodded his head.

Happy decided finish his cigarette and put the hover board on the charger so it was all ready for morning. He grabbed Jenna's phone and it lit up with a text from Jax. He was drunk texting her how sorry he was and how he wished things were different. Happy just shook his head. Jenna had gotten Abel into his bed and was covering up

"will you cuddle with me?"

Jenna rubbed her face and still needing to finish the decorations on the cookies and brownies and the other treats he asked for but knew she needed rest.

"Okay but don't be mad if mommy's alarm goes of to feed your brother and sister okay"

"Okay"

Jenna crawled into her sons car bed and covered them up. The two would fall asleep almost instantly. Happy had come into the house making sure all the doors were locked and the security system was on. As he headed to the bedroom he peaked his head into Abel's room and seen Jenna holding her son.

"She sleeps."

Happy smiled and tiptoed in not wanting to wake either of them. He put her phone on the bedside table so she had her alarm. Moving her bangs from her face he kissed her forehead and tiptoed back out heading to the master bedroom to sleep himself.

The daylight came sooner than expected. Jenna had the twins on the dining table in their portable swings that rotated side to side. It was around nine am, Abel had already had breakfast and was in the Garage on his hoverboard. Happy had moved the truck so the garage could fit more adults. Happy was outside in the back yard watching the bounce house being blown up. Opie had stepped out on to his porch seeing all the decorations and stuff Jenna had put together.

"She really out did herself. I am surprised she didn't try to decorate my house."

Happy laughed

"She tried bro she tried. but she decided against it since she had to use your half of the property for that thing."

Opie looked at the bouncy house.

"She actually got it. That thing looks so cool." Opie said stunned

"Yeah you now how she is when the kids want something they get it." Happy smiled and said

"true. is she up?" Opie shrugged his shoulders and asked

"She's been up since six am with the twins. I just surprised she slept." Happy said having a cigarette

"Everything okay with her?" Opie asked

"Yeah I think so. She just wants everything to be perfect for this party. But I already know things are going to get crazy today." Happy said taking a drag off his cigarette

"Why?" opie asked raising his eyebrow.

Happy looked at Opie with a smirk. Opie's face lit up and he walked over smiling giving him a hug

"You Asked her?" Opie asked wanting to know her reaction.

"Yea last night. We were talking after the twins three am feeding and things happened. She wanted to go back into finish the deserts and I pulled her in. We danced and I asked her while i seen her eyes on fire and happier then she could ever be and I knew it was right to ask." Happy responded

Opie smiled nodding his head.

"well I am happy for you two. i mean it. I've seen how you have been helping support her dreams and making her and the kids a priority. You brought a smile out I haven't seen in forever so i know you two are great for each other."

Happy pat Opie's Back

"Thanks.. i just hope other people think the same thing."

The two men shared a look knowing who he was talking about.

"He will get over it. We all warned him for years this would happen and he didn't want to believe us." Opie said with a sigh

Happy just nodded his head.

"I know but I still wanted to give him the respect but I knew where that would end up no matter how many times he tells me take care of them and whatever else he says after she talks to him."

Opie shook his head and said "I get that. Jax and Jenna were a lot. I am just glad she hasn't lost her fire and still jumps in with both feet."

Happy smiled as he heard the sliding door open. Jenna was coming out to check on the bounce out since Abel was starting to get bored playing on his hoverboard since he had no one to play with since Opie's kids were still getting ready. Jenna was already in her Han Solo costume with her hair in Leia buns. She even had a nerf gun blaster in the holster. Opie looked at his sister and was stunned.

"Its only nine in the morning and your dressed like that." He said teasing his sister.

Jenna playfully pushed him and said "Yup because you don't know what its like to get yourself and three kids ready in their outfits."

"you are such a nerd." Opie said shoving her.

"I know." she said sticking out her tongue. "I hope that blows up fast or your kids hurry up because he keeps trying to bargain for more gifts."

Opie laughed and said "More..."

"Yes more...We ended up giving him the hoverboard last night." She said pulling out her phone to show the video.

Opie smiled watching Abel's reaction. The video ended and the next one played. Abel had recorded Happy and his mom dancing this morning in the garage after Happy had moved the truck. She was in her costume already. The two were dancing a country swing. Jenna looked down hearing Abel's laugh and looked down at the phone and see n the video he recorded of Happy and her. She looked down and smiled watching it. It was a joy to hear her sons giggle and watch herself look happy. When it was hard for her to feel genuinely happy some days because of the depression. But she still rolled out of bed and did her duties as a mother, a friend, a sister, a daughter, a lover, a business woman and a porn star. She reached for her phone and Opie grabbed her hand seeing the rock on her finger. he hadn't seen it in person yet. The only one who got to see it was Abel because Happy wanted to make sure that Jenna would like it.

"What's this?" Opie said looking at his sister.

Jenna bit her lip and said Happy asked me to be his old lady last night?

"have you told Jax yet?"

"no and I am not doing it today either because I am not ruining my sons day. But I will, I just want to have a good day please."

Jenna begged almost as she looked at Happy who respected her wish to let her tell him and do it when she was ready. Opie wrapped his arms around his sister and kissed the top of her head

"Okay it will be a good day I promise."

"thank you."

Opie smiled and kissed her head

"I am happy for your. I am glad to see you smile again."

He hugged her tightly before letting go. Jenna wasn't good at taking compliments right now because she was stressed about the party.

"it's nice to be able to smile and thank you. Now that thing is almost done I can send him out here to play because I need to get his gifts out of my closet and get the twins fed and napping before Jax shows up."

As she said this Abel had come running from the house and stopped in his track seeing the bounce house. Abel already in his jedi costume and his hair in a fuax hawk like he wanted. Jenna snapped a picture of his face. He looked at his mom and looked back at it. He quickly hugged her legs

"Thank you mommy."

Abel let go of her and ran down to the bounce house and dove right into it. Jenna shook her head and pat Happy's back.

"He is under your watch now."

Happy smiled and kissed her cheek before she headed back into the house. Tessa was asleep still and Thomas was just looking around but started to get a little fussy. Jenna ran in and turned off his swing.

"Momma's coming to feed you and your sister. I am sorry I made you wait. but tit is your brothers birthday."

Thomas just cooed at her as she picked him up and slipping into the baby warp that she could wear and they would be snug and she could be hands free as well. Tessa started to cry the second the swing stopped. Jenna looked at her in shock

"Diva it is not that bad. You are about to get fed since mommy is late with it."

Tessa calmed down once she was slipped into the other side of the sling. Thomas and Tessa Instantly joined their hands once they were nestled with their heads on her boobs. Jenna looked down shook her head and took them into the nursery and closed the door enough so she could hear people coming in the house but couldn't see her. She sat down in the rocking chair lifting and took her arms out of her shirt and managed to get it off and open the nipple covers on her bra. Thomas knew and let go of Tessa's hand and latched. tess wasn't quite as hungry all she wanted to do was sleep but she still latched falling asleep between suckles. Jenna rocked back and forth in the chair looking out their window that looked into the back yard and watched Abel running around now with Opie's Kids. He was Happy and having fun and that's all she wanted was her children to be happy. She never though of her own happiness. At least not till that night in Stockton. Jenna looked down at her ring and shook her head. This all felt like a dream but it was her reality. Letting out a yawn she closed her eyes and fell asleep continuously rocking back and forth while the twins breast fed. Her body just felt like it needed a recharge so she would get a few minutes of a deep sleep before the chaos of the party would endure.

Abel was running around with his cousins playing tag. Able and Piper were doing flips to get away like they really believed they were Jedi's. Ellie gave up playing with the boys and ran over to her father and happy.

"Daddy they aren't playing fair. Can I go inside and help aunt Jen with the twins?"

Opie looked at his watch and then at Happy. Jenna hadn't come out since it was time to feed the twins. Happy wondered if she had fallen asleep which she desperately needed to after all the work she had done. Opie knelt down to her level and kissed her forehead

"I think Aunt Jen and the twins might be taking a nap. Because unlike you and your sibling they cant feed themselves and they need to eat a lot cause they are growing. So auntie Jen has to be up every three hours to make sure they are cared for. So why don't we let her nap for now? I am sure she will be up as soon as other people show up okay. So you can go see how mom is doing with the gifts and come tell me if she needs any help. Okay?"

Ellie nodded her head and ran to their house through the back door. Opie shook his head standing back up. Happy was looking back at the house wondering if she was okay and almost wanted to know she was sleeping and not trying something dumb. He knew she was going through post partum depression but she would never tell anyone. Opie looked at Happy as he just looked at the house.

"Everything okay?"

Happy jumped a little and rubbed his head

"As good as they can be I guess. We had a routine, But since she has to go back and forth from the hospital before the twins were released and then with the trial for Josh. Things have been a little off. She is trying to do everything and it's wearing her thin. She barely eats unless it has sugar in it unless she is starving. I mean she doesn't even look like she just had twins three months ago."

Opie nodded his head and stroking his beard

"I wish I knew how to help. If you guys need me to I am willing to come help with the late night feeding since I am gonna have to get use to to it again myself."

Happy smirked as he watched the boys running around and still playing tag.

"that's something you have to take up with her. I am just following her lead and reading the signs as I see them."

Opie nodded his head. There were voices by the gate and it was Gemma, along with Nero. Jax was close behind them. Happy looked over and rubbed his head

"Let the fun begin."

Opie let out a laugh as Happy went inside to see if Jenna was okay. Abel seen people at the Gate and Ran for it to let them in. the first person he wanted to see was his dad because he wanted to show him his hover board. He ran right into his dad arms. Jax scooped him up and hugged him tightly. Gemma smiled crossing her arms as Nero held most of the gifts.

Gemma cleared her throat and said "Well hello to you to birthday boy."

Abel lifted his head from his fathers shoulder and said "hi lovey..I am sorry for being rude. But I really wanted to show daddy what mom gave me for my birthday."

"I bet it was something cool." Jax said knowing what it was.

"It is really cool. Its something you and Mom said I would never get." Abel said outlining one of the patches on Jax's vest.

Gemma smiled watching the little boy with his father

"Well why don't you show Pop N Lovey where to set these other gifts down and you can show us all. Then we can see where your mom is and dad can give you his" Jax told his son.

Abel nodded his head and said "Otay..But Mommy is probably napping with the twins."

Jax wanted to ask more questions about what Jenna did because he wanted to know and knew his son would tell him the honest truth like he would do to anybody even if it would hurt. He was just a kid who was excited for the things in his life and observed everything. Jax lifted his son's chin.

"well then how about you go show lovey and pop n your gift and Dad will go check on mom. Then I can come see it. It that cool?"

"That cool dad" Abel said jumping from his father's arms taking Gemma's hand showing her in.

Jenna and the twins were still all fast asleep when Happy came to check on her. He didn't have the heart to wake her. He decided to go to the garage to take to have a smoke. Even though he and Jax were on good terms, he didn't like watching when Jenna and Jax interacted. Because he feared she might get sucked into again. But it all might be different now that she was to him his instead. Jax was heading for the house But seen Opie first and wanted to say hi. The two slapped hands then gave a hug.

"Hey brother.. How's it going?" Jax asked

Opie lit a cigarette and said "Its going man. He is so excited to show you what Jen got him for his birthday."

"Yeah I know. How's Jen doing?" Jax Asked

"She is alright. Her and the twins are napping right now I guess" Opie told him.

"Yeah i bet." Jax noticed Happy wasn't out here.

"I guess she hasn't been sleeping the best. Guess she's having nightmares again. What's going on with Tara's case?" Opie asked.

Jax ran his finger through his hair and lit his own cigarette.

"They are about to dismiss it since I won't let Jenna testify. She has been though enough and she doesn't need that shit. But last I heard She was to be released either today or Monday. But Hale wasn't sure."

Opie just nodded his head agreeing that Jenna didn't need that but everyone better hope Jenna doesn't see her on the streets of Charming because Jenna had plots for her since Josh told her the lies Tara was weaving around her and Jax's lives.

"Is she gonna be staying in town?" Opie Asked.

"I don't know she keeps asking for me but I won't go see her not after how bad she wounded my family."

Jax smiled as Nero put Abel up on his shoulders. It was nice to see his son smile and enjoying life instead of worried about his parents or anything else. Jenna started to twitch a bit in her sleep. She was having a nightmare about Josh's attack but now Tara was joining in and holding the twins telling her she would never see them again. She was known to go on auto pilot and sleep walk. But this time it was much more different she was still dreaming. Her eyes were wide open but glazed over. so she looked awake but wasn't there. Opie and Jax had decided to go in to see if Jenna and the twins were up. But Abel Demanded they all go see this gift. Jenna could hear kids laughing but her mind saw Jax and Tara throwing this party for Abel and no one could hear her. She tried to speak but nothing came out. Abel was doing figure 8's and tricks on his hover board. Jax smiled and couldn't wait to give him his.

"Do you wanna wait for mom or Do you want your gift from me now?" Jax asked his son having fun.

Abel stopped and said "Can we wait for mom please? I know she said she really wanted to see what it is too because you told her it was epic."

"Okay we will wait for mom." Jax said

At that moment there was the sound of breaking glass and the twins crying. Happy and Jax shared a look and both ran into the house. Abel tried to go with but Opie stopped him.

"Let me go I have to go help Mommy." Abel said to his uncle trying to crawl over his shoulder.

Opie had a firm grip on him, Opie knew his sister had some mental demons to work through because of all the trauma and the trial for Josh brought it all back up in her face and it was like being victimized all over again for her. He knew the signs when his sister was mentally unstable. But he didn't step in till it was necessary. Jenna did confide in him with somethings because she didn't want to worry Jax or Happy But she didn't disclose everything.

"You dad and Happy have her it will be okay. Besides you don't want to be in there right now. Because mom, dad, and Happy might need to have an adult moment too. You know Happy propose right?" Opie said setting him on his feet.

"Yeah i watched it." Abel said looking down at the ground.

"Well I am not sure if your dad knows about it so their might be things going on you don't need to hear or see okay. So how about we go back out to your party that your mom put together? What do you say?"

Opie kept it one hundred with Abel because Abel had asked him some questions about how the family dynamic would be now and other personal questions because he hear Jenna and Jax fight quietly with doors closed. Abel just nodded his head and took Opie's hand and they took the long way around to the back so they could avoid whatever was going on. Jenna had managed to walk to the Bath room still dreaming she felt like she was following Tara through the house. She stopped in the bathroom and saw Tara with the babies in a sling like hers. Jenna smashed her fist into the glass and snapped out of it when she heard the twins cry. As she sat down on the edge of the tub she started to cry softly trying to calm the twins down singing them a lullaby. Jenna was finally feeling the broken mess she was no matter the brave face she was putting on for the world. Happy and Jax had followed the sound of the twins crying to the master bathroom. They seen the shattered mirror and Jenna's hand with shards of glass in it and dripping blood on the floor as she was trying to calm the twins down. Happy looked at her hand. Jax snapped her fingers in front of her face.

"Jenna snap out of it or at least let me take one of the twins."

Jenna looked almost catatonic with tears down her face. Happy had seen this before and had to try to snap her out of it. Jax had never seen her have an episode like this. Jenna shook her head no

"Why so you can take them and go be with her? " Jenna said out of hate and fear

She had no idea what she was saying but what she saw felt so real to her. Jax was confused for a moment and just looked at her.

"With who Jen?" Jax asked crossing his arms.

Happy just shook his head at Jax knowing this wasn't Jenna he was talking to. Jenna had been diagnosed with having multiple personalities because she pushed herself of how much she could handle and snap. Happy went into the hall closet grabbing the first aid kit and tweezers to get the glass out of her hand and wrap it. Jenna looked at him with a blank stare.

"Tara..You want to take my kids and go live together with her and be happy with me dead." she said

Jax shook his head at her. He had no idea what she was talking about but this was something he never experienced because he was never around to see what the trauma of everything really did to her mental health.

"Jenna your not gonna die and Tara is in Jail right now." Jax told her

"Yeah right she and that psychos kid are probably shacked up in your house right now. Because we all know you want to hurt me like you always have." Jenna said still having no clue the words she was spewing out.

Jax walked closer to her and sat next to her.

"why would I do that? She hurt you and our children. Besides your the mother of my kids. What reason do I have for wanting you dead?" He asked pushing some of her blinde hair out of her face.

Jenna's icey blue eyes met his and said bluntly "Because I am marrying Happy."

She held up her had with the ring on it which was also the one with the glass in it. That when she finally snapped out of whatever mental breakdown she was having and saw the blood.

"Oh shit." she said looking at her hand and the glass and blood.

Jax was stunned by the news. He had no words to say it was the last thing he expected to here especially this early in whatever they were. But didn't want to make her panic or freak the twins out again. Jax rubbed his face standing up as Happy came back into the room. Happy had heard her tell Jax that they were gonna get married and wasn't sure which way this was going to go. Jax just stood up and had no real words to say to her

"Ok Then.. I will let Happy clean and wrap your hand then you can put a top and and I can see my twins when your done."

He was being formal because he was mad. Jax had hopes to win her back but now that was not the case. She was going to be someone else's old lady now. He wasn't prepared for hat at least not so fast. But Abel always told him how happy Jenna was and how cool it was to have two "Father" figures. Jax walked pasted Happy and just stared at him. Jenna just looked flabbergasted about everything that just transpired and could only imagine what fights this was going to bring up for the two. Happy shook his head at her.

"You know you have a way of subtly." He said shaking his head at her.

Jenna wiped her eyes with the hand that didn't have glass in it and kiss the twins heads who were calm again and of course back to eating again.

"I'm sorry I didn't even realize I actually told him. I was having one of those lucid dreams. When I was awake but dreaming still." she said holding her hand out for Happy.

"you don't have to apologize I am just glad its out there and he can deal with it how he needs to. But we need to get you cleaned up and dressed because Jax wants to give Abel the dirt bike." Happy told her.

Happy was pulling the pieces of glass and Jax had walked back out to the garage he wanted to leave but couldn't disappoint Abel. Gemma could see the look on her son's face and knew he got the news he wasn't expecting. Abel Had told her that Happy took him to pick our a ring and wanted to ask her to be his old lady. But she too didn't tell her son because it wasn't her secret to Share. Abel was in the backyard playing with his friends and other kids in the backyard having fun. Jax had a sour look on is face when he came out from the house which meant one thing he knew. Jax went to the fridge in the garage and grabbed a beer and popped it open finishing it one sitting. Gemma shook her head

"you think that's gonna help." She asked him

Jax shook his head "nope But it will help. He proposed to her. Though I am sure I wasn't suppose to find out the way she said it. She was awake but she was dreaming I have never seen that from her." He said.

Gemma had to babysit Jenna when Abel was born, when the crew had to go out on the road. She had seen one of these episodes but was able to stop her from hurting herself. Jenna had been check out with a shrink and this was all part of the hormones and post partum depression.

"That's because you were never home to see them." Gemma reminded him.

"Don't start." He looked to his mother glaring at her.

"I'm not .. I am just saying. There is a lot about her you never noticed or saw because you weren't there. I get you are regretting it now but getting drunk at your sons birthday party isn't gonna make things any better. So suck it up and just act happy." Gemma said as she watched him reach for another beer.

Jax popped the beer open and only sipped it this time. He watched Abel having fun and couldn't wait to see the twins at this stage. though he hoped they would be a family again he knew Jenna deserved to be happy. Jax knew himself he put her through hell and would suck it up even though it hurt like hell. Happy had finally gotten the glass out and helped her move the twins to their stroller so the could go outside so Abel could unwrap the dirt bike. Jenna was putting on her shirt looked out at the window. She would have to put on the fake smile and make sure Abel had a fun day. Happy finished changing Thomas and got him into the stroller watching her. Jenna caught his eye.

"what?" She asked him softly.

"Nothing you just amaze me everyday." He said walking over to her kissing her lips.

Jenna passionately kissed him back wrapping her arm around him. She could hear the screen door fly open and wondered who it was. But she could hear Abel yelling. Abel had seen his father come outside and he pressed him for the gift and Jax gave in telling him that she was up. Abel made a dash for the house.

"Mommmy..." He yelled running to the nursery

He flung the door open and calmed his tone seeing the twins fast asleep.

"Mommy...Dad said he got me a cool gift but we had to wait for you. So now that you are up can we see it please mom?" He asked her.

Jenna smiled still holding on to Happy. "Yes we can go you go walk with dad Happy and you sibling will be out in just a second."

Abel smiled and ran back out the room to his dad pretty much tackling him to the ground as he was talking to Opie. Jax let out a laugh as he stood up holding his son.

"I take it your mom is coming out now so we can go see your gift." Jax said to his son.

"Uh Huh..she and Happy were making sure the twins were situated but they are coming. Where is this epic gift?" Abel said wanting to be picked up.

"If he thought the hover board was cool. He is gonna die seeing the dirt bike. I didn't want him doing it but with everything going on I want him to be Happy and dirt bikes make him happy. he is a true Teller boy." Jenna said watching him run out.

Jenna and Happy came out rolling the stroller. Most of the guest had arrived and having fun. There were a few kids in the pool and others enjoying all the other activities there was. The adults were drinking and talking. Jax looked over his shoulder seeing the two walk out rolling his eyes as he picked up Abel. He wanted to hate her but he knew he did this he pushed her to this point. Happy kept a step behind because he knew this was their fight but he would step in if he needed to. Jenna tried to catch up to Jax but he stayed step in front of her on purpose. He didn't want to talk to her because he didn't want to make his son cry today when this was suppose to be a happy day. Jenna rolled her eyes and knew he was being stubourn now but they had to play nice.

She finally caught up to him as they reached where his truck was parked on the side street. He had a trailer hitched to it which had in the back. Jax set Abel down next to the stroller and went digging hin the back of his truck bed. He pulled out a box.

"Here is your birthday gift." Jax said teasing him.

Abel ripped the wrapping paper open and opened the box. Inside was a dirt bike helmet.

"Dad What am I suppose to do with this? This is not Epic. I mean its basic and I don't even have a bike cause you and mom said no." Abel said looking back and forth at it and him.

"Its basic huh..Well let see what we can do about that." Jax said opening the trailer

Abel looked at his mom in shock and wonder and amazement. Jax walked into the trailer and walked back out with the bike. It was the one Abel wanted and always circled since he was five. Abel held his helmet tight and started to jump up and down shocked.

"No No No No No No No No Way..." Abel said unable to believe it.

He hugged his mom first and said "Thank you mom."

"you need to thank your dad. That is all him I just said okay." Jenna said hugging him pushing him to his dad.

Abel ran down to his dad's arms and was cry "Thank you dad." he said.

"your welcome son. Mom and I figured you deserved some of the things you been asking for since you have been a trooper that last year with mom being pregnant and then having the twin." Jax said looking at Jenna who was snapping a few pick of the father and son as well as the set of twins.

"Can I ride it?" Abel asked putting his helmet on.

Jax ran his fingers through his hair and said "I am fine with it if mom is. but only where we can see you."

Jenna just nodded her head yes. she wasn't going to deny him this. He had been wanting one since he rode, Opie's oldest son Harry's and fell in love. Jax smiled and got him set up making sure he knew the buttons and how to turn it on a nd drive. But as soon as he showed Abel the forward he was gone. Abel was riding it like a pro back and forth on the road where Jax and Jenna could see them. Jenna looked at Jax who just watched him and took pictures. Jax took a few steps back towards her. Jenna was admiring the twins who were up and just looking around. Thomas's eye lit up hearing the bike sound and Tessa just yawned.

"we need to talk Jax." Jenna said as he backed up towards her to see the twins.

Jax looked at her and said "Not Today."

Jax looked down and see Thomas with a smile and bright eyed hearing the bike. He undid his safety harness and picked him up holding him.

"Don't worry buddy you will get one too when your old enough. Daddy is gonna teach you all about bikes just like your brother." Jax said kissing his infant sons head.

Tessa started to get fussy because Thomas wasn't near and Jax smirked.

Jenna undid her harness and helped Jax and put her in his arms. The two locked eyes and touched for a moment but Jax just pulled away as Tessa snuggled into him. Jenna just shook her head watching him with their kids. She knew he would be a great father but she couldn't be his anymore because it hurt to much. Jenna leaned against a tree watching Abel just go back and forth so happy to be riding it. Jenna herself wanted a bike but never asked for one because she also liked riding on the back of one too. Happy watched Jenna as he had decided to stay behind and talk with Opie. Opie kept looking over as well to make sure there was no fight.

"Is she okay?" Opie asked Happy.

"Yeah she had one of those lucid dreams where she is awake but dreaming. She punched a mirror in the bathroom. She told Jax he was gonna take the kids and run away with Tara. He asked why she said cause we were getting married and he just has been cold to her since." Happy said looking over at his shoulder.

Opie had no words but wondered if his sister really was okay.

The night was winding down and Abel had fallen asleep in a tent that he got and demanded Jax set it up for him. Opie and Lyla's son Piper had fallen asleep in there as well. The only adults left at the party were Gemma, Nero, Happy, Opie, Jenna, And Jax. But he was inside with the twins giving them their nine pm feeding and getting them changes and asleep. Jenna and Happy were sitting on the bench and she was snuggled up to him. She was tipsy at this point because once abel had gone to bed and Jax insisted on taking care of the twins so she could have a night. He Only did it because he didn't want to watch Happy and Jenna making out or anything like he seemed to have caught earlier in the day behind doors and the bouncy house. Jax knew she wasn't being malicious she was just being her and doing what she like when she was in love. He remember those days and hated that he messed that up. Jax sat in the rocking chair with both twin in his arms. He looked out the window as watching the group that was his family too surround her with smiles.

Jenna was doing shots of fireball with her brother. Happy was sipping a beer to keep a level head. It was nice to see her having some her time with worrying about the kids. She had brought the Bluetooth speaker out of the garage when the kids asked for music earlier in the night after the cake was cut and gifts were open. Jenna had changed out of her costume once she had gotten uncomfortable and wanted something else to wear. She decided on daisy dukes and a sons tshirt till it got cold and put a hoodie. Opie went over to the bar and motion his sister over. The two siblings hadn't been drunk in sometime and they were always being foolish and silly. Jenna got up instantly and Happy just shook his head.

"Im so glad she pumped." Happy said shaking his head.

Gemma laughed and said "well at least you will have cinnamon flavored milk for your cereal in the morning."

Happy spit out his beer as she said this. He didn't expect that out of Gemma. Gemma had always liked Happy and now that Jenna was officially his and he would be in their lives permanently she felt she could open up a little more and crack a few more jokes with him.

Nero shook his head and said "welp I know where this night is headed."

"Me too." Happy said with a smirk.

Opie was pouring the shots as Jenna came over looking very tipsy.

"How you feeling kid?" Opie asked her handing her the shot.

She downed it quickly and said "Oh I am Amazing. My ex hasn't said a word to me all day. He has pretty much kept the twins all day. Which gives me anxiety after the incident."

Opie shook his head as Jenna was scrolling through her phone looking for a song she wanted to hear. Opie poured her another one. Jenna shook her head.

"If I drink that it's time for Jax to go home if the twins are asleep. Because i'm not held responsible for my actions after that." Jenna told her brother.

Opie himself was nearing three sheets to the wind himself just wanted his drinking buddy back now that she wasn't pregnant.

"Do you want me to check on them?" Opie asked slurring his words a bit.

Jenna laughed and said "No you are way beyond the point of handling my kids. I am a hazard because I am liable to start a fight because I'm tired of him saying one thing then acting like a kid the next minute. It's so annoying."

"Maybe you guys need to because you two have so much built up maybe you need to scream at each other. You both are so passive aggressive with the kids you two haven't had a real conversation since Abel was born. The only conversations you had is when you fought because you both pushed each other to far." Opie said as they did the shot,

Jenna took the bottle from him and said "you are cut off after that comment buddy. Because If I go to jail i will strangle Tara with the sheets in her sleep assuming she is still in there since i haven't heard about the case. Jax keeps telling me they only ask for him because I am mentally unstable to be a witness."

"That a lie." Opie blurted out.

Opie had first hand knowledge that the officers kept asking for Jenna to show up to testify but Jax was trying to protect her from that drama and chaos.

"Excuse Me?" She said in a yell almost but not loud enough to wake the kids.

The other four adults looked over their shoulder when they heard her tone. Lyla covered her face because she knew what Opie knew from bedroom talk.

"Oh no" She said shaking her head.

Gemma looked at her and said "What?"

"Opie was the only other person than Jax that knew Jax was lying to her about her needing to testify at Tara's trial so Tara would get a lighter sentence so she could so weekends in a jail in Chicago so she can raise her daughter." Lyla told Gemma.

Gemma shook her head and said "I knew something was off."

Jax could feel himself start to fall asleep and was getting tired of watching whatever was going on in the backyard. He put the twins in their cribs and grab the baby monitor to bring it out to Jenna. His mind raced with so many thought but he felt his fears were coming true though that another man would call their children dad after this last go around. Jax wanted to drink his thoughts away but didn't want to do it with Jenna around because he didn't want that fight or anyone to see how bad it was when they did fight. Jenna was still stunned by the news her brother had told her and it made her blood boil. Jax came out around behind the bar and put the moniter in front of her showing her the twins were alseep in the crib and didn't say a word.

Opie shares a look with her and asked "Getting out of here?"

"Yeah. T n T are asleep and I was starting to fade in that Rocker." He said to him.

The two shared a hug and Opie said "I'll see you in the Am pres."

Jenna watched as he ignored even when she poured him a shot. Jax just looked at her for a moment and headed to the fire pit and said his good byes to everyone even Happy, which confused her a bit. Jax was walking away and Jenna was pissed he was acting like she was nothing like he was to good for her now. They had to coparent for their three kids but this attitude made it hard especially when it came to her life choices. Jenna ended up taking a few more swigs out of the bottle and carried it with her as she walked behind him

"Jax wait up." She said trying to run to catch up to him.

Jax looked back at her as he walked and turned back around. This pissed her off a little more. She took another swig as she was trying to keep up with him.

"Hey fuck stick" She said throwing the bottle past his head and it shattering when it hit the side of his truck.

Jax heard her and knew she was drunk she wanted to fight and he didn't have it in him till the bottle flew passed him

He spun around and said "Crazy bitch."

"You god damn right I and you made me this way Jackson Teller." She told him as she felt herself slipping into a black out and she would never remember this in the morning.

Jax let out a laugh and said "Nah I think you've done one tow many shots because I am pretty sure you've always been a psycho."

"I rather be a psycho then a man who lie and cheats every instant he can when he is in a relationship at least I can be faithful." She said as he approached her,

"I only wanted to fuck you so you would shut up. your nothing but a dumb whore who will jump on any bikers cock. I'm starting to wonder if there was any truth to what Kyle was saying back in the day before he left Opie out to dry." Jax said going to that place he had been avoiding all day but she just brought it out in him.

Jenna laughed and said "Oh yeah what he say about me?" as she crossed her arms.

"He told me that that you made up that lie about him drugging you and that you let him fuck him in the bathroom of the dog. I think you did. I also think you let Darby and the nord tie you up and fuck you like you like in your films with the dykes." Jax said this out of anger,

But as the words came out he didn't mean them he just wanted her to hurt like he was right now. He knew that she was telling the truth because of hospital record. He braced himself ready for the swing. Happy and Opie were both close by and could hear this conversation because the two were talking loudly. Jenna's face went blank and threw a right hook to his jaw as the comments were said.

"Shit" Gemma said looking over seeing Jenna take the swing.

Gemma was tipsy but she was sober enough she would need to get Jenna in the house and Jax gone before the neighbors called the cops and they both went to jail because of their fights. Nero looked over his shoulder seeing Jax hold his jaw. Jax held his jaw with a smirk. The brought a little fire and reminded him of who she was.

"Bet you won't do it again you stupid bitch. because if you think your nightmare was bad. I will make it a reality and i will be taking the kids and you will be left with your fuck boy." Jax said not knowing where these words were coming from.

Jenna spit in his face and took a swing again. She didn't care because she thought she knew him better than this. But Now nothing was off limits. Opie and Jax were stunned by what they saw and were kind of amazed that this was coming from Jenna. But the next few moments happened in a flash that no one could stop

Jax just smirked and said "Bet you dumb bitch."

Jax grabbed her by her throat and pinned her to the tree seeing red because she made his mouth bleed. Opie and Happy tried to pull Jax off her throat. But he was pissed and not letting her go. Jenna clawed his hand and eyes were wide, gasping for air. This was a new monster of Jax that she hadn't seen in full. This was the jealousy and He would kill her before she could be happy with some one else but never actually tried. Finally Nero ran over and all three men were able to get him off her. Jenna was holding her throat and started to cough once she could breath.

"I'm sorry Opie I'm not the drunk one but your sister is a dumb slut who will fuck anything as long as it takes care of her." Jax said pushing the men off of him

Opie wanted to swing but just said "Go Home Jax."

"Why so you can all pity a whore? I bet that story clay told me in Ireland was true too." Jax shouted at her.

Jenna coughed and said "What story is that?"

"He said that when Jimmy showed him that you safe on the first meet that you fucked them both. Is that the shit you like. I mean if so Happy and I and the whole samcro crew can tie you down to the table and use you with out causing injury if you want sweetheart." Jax said out of pure anger.

Gemma gasped looking at her son. Jenna was ready to go for Jax but Nero and Gemma got her to go inside. Lyla had put the speaker in the tent for the boys and put a movie on the Tablet so the boys didn't hear any of this. She went inside seeing all that had transpired. Opie was holding Happy back due to the nature of the comment and everything gone through sexually, mentally psychically, and emotionally.

Opie looked and said "Jax you really need to go home before one of the neighbors call the cops."

Jax looked at Happy who was ready for a fight and said "how's it feel to know that I can have your future wife taking every Samcro crew members load and you can't do anything about it it. Because Of those three kids we share."

Gemma and Nero had gotten Jenna to the door and heard Jax say something about the kid and she snapped. She broke free of Nero's grasp on her arm and ran straight for Jax while Happy was fighting to get out of the corner with Opie. Jax started to walk to his truck and Jenna clocked him hard in the back of the head. Gemma shook her head and knew this was going to be bad. She had seen a fight like this but both of them were drunk. Jax had only had a few beers . Jenna had been drinking whiskey since Abel went to sleep. Nero make sure Lyla and Gemma went inside. He went over to break the couple up but they weren't giving up their grasps on each other.

David Hale was rolling by in the cruiser and seen Happy and Opie Trying to pull the two apart. He turned on his light and that stopped everything but Jax who pushed her into the grass to get her off of him, making her hit her head. He immediately called for back up because he was going to have to take them both in. He didn't want to take Jenna in simply because Tara was still in the jail at the station because she was needed for the trail in Charming. Opie got Jax to go sit on his back porch and Happy had helped Jenna up and was wrapping his arms around her trying to protect her even though he knew she might be screwed in this case.

Hale got out of his care shining his flash light at both parties and said "What seems to be the problem her guys?"

Jenna was keeping quiet because she was blackout drunk and completely catatonic after that. She had never snapped that hard in years because she thought she controlled that crazy fighter side once they got pregnant with the twins. Jax was ashamed of himself and knew he had to talk David out of taking her too. He would be more than willing to go to jail if he needed to but he didn't want Jenna to go. He knew he crossed a line because of his pain he was feeling. He lit a cigarette as Opie gave him a look like told you.

Opie turned around and said "Its just a disagreement Hale."

David looked Jenna's way. She looked a mess and had a blank stare on her face she had an obvious bruising around her throat from Jax choking her. He then looked to Jac who just had a bloody lip.

"It doesn't look like a disagreement. Because what I saw looked like assault by both him and her. I should be domestic battery because they share relation through the kids but I am not that person tonight. So who wants to tell me what happened?" Hale said pointing his flash light at them.

Opie walked over to him and said "words were said that shouldn't have been and it got heated. thats all it was."

David shook his head seeing Jenna's bandaged hand bleeding from the punch to Jax's jaw that made him bleed.

he looked at Opie and said "She hit him?"

Opie nodded his head and said "Yea... She has been drinking and jax has been sober and he said some thing that set her off."

"so she started this?" Hale said

"Sort Of Jax has been ignoring her all day because Happy and her got engages. She threw a bottle at his truck as he was leaving cause she wanted to talk and he said some stupid shit and she swung. he dared her she swung again and he choked her we had her going in till he said something and started that rumble you saw." Opie said as a second cop car showed up.

Opie knew his sister was going to have to go to jail and didn't know how to stop and Jax would get o be free because she was the one who is the drunken mess. Jenna had snapped out of it when a second cop car pulled up and a female officer named Calecio got out and went over to Hale. The two talked briefly. She and Happy were sharing a kiss as the hand cuff clicked and She was red her rights. Gemma and Lyla could see the red and blue lights and could only imagine which or if both were going to jail cause they both had marks.

Calecio read Jenna her rights and put her in the squad car. She got to kiss happy one more time.

"Look whatever Happens stay with the kids. Opie will call the lawyer in the morning. But I want you to stay with the kids please." She told him knowing this routine.

Happy kissed her lips and said "I will."

Calecio closed the door on her as David walked over to Jax who was having his smoke.

"Do you wanna press charges for the attack since she started it?" David asked looking at him.

David thought he knew how this was going to go because he had been in this situation with them before where neither would say anything and since the court couldn't prove other wise the case would be dismissed.

"No But she didn't start it I did. The reason her hand is wrapped is because I slammed it into a mirror in her master bathroom. When she told me her and Happy were engaged. I ignored her all day since there she just wanted to talk about the twin's schedule and i ignored her. She threw the bottle and i choked her up. Then she hit me and got into the brawl. So she doesn't need to go to jail." Jax said almost begging since they both knew Tara was almost on her way to Chicago.

David shook his head and said "But I openly saw her hit you. you don't want to press charges?"

"No she is just the mother of my kids now and you can't change her with Dv and we both know it. So Take me in and let her go. It's Abels birthday and she set up an amazing party and I let her have a night to herself so i could be with the twins since they still are on a tight schedule. She doesn't deserve to wake up in a Jail cell next to Takara. She would murder her and then that be a whole different case that would take her from my kids for life" Jax said doing the noble thig even though he hated jail.

"I still need to get her side." David said walking away.

"Good luck because she is gonna tell you a bs story. She hasn't been well just let her go. I'm not gonna put up a fight or nothing. She doesn't need to go to jail." Jax said flicking his cigarette into the grass holding his wrist out.

"Fine assault in the first you will be out by am if she doesn't press charges which I am sure she won't because you two are twisted people." David said arresting Jax.

Hale nodded his head to Calecio to let her go. Calecio was confused and let Jenna out of the car and undid the cuffs.

David asked "Is there anything you want them to hold on to?"

"yeah give Opie the cash in my wallet and my keys along with my knife." Jax said to him.

David rested Jax against the car and searched him putting the items on the hood, before putting him in the back. Jenna was stunned but watched Jax get put in the back of David's squad car. He must of taken blame for this fight she thought to herself, but glad she wouldn't miss the kids or have to explain it to Abel though in the morning. She Just wrapped her arms around Happy as they watched David talk to Opie for a moment and then the cars drive off. Jenna was still quiet and let out a yawn. Happy picked her up to carry her.

Opie looked at the tent where the boys were sleeping and said "Lyla and I will keep an eye on them if they wake up. We told them out back door would be unlocked since you guys have the twins."

"I'll be able to watch them to since I have the late shift with the twins since she's done for the night." Happy said noticing she closed her eyes

Opie smirked and said "Yeah never a dull moment around her hope you are ready for more chaos like that."

Happy knew it was a joke and said "Oh I can only imagine what the wedding reception is gonna be like not to mention if she and I have kids."

Opie laughed and said "Tell My wife she can come home once you get my sister situated."

"Will do." Happy said carrying Jenna to the house.

Once in the house Happy took her to the bedroom leaving her in her clothes for the moment. He needed to make sure the twins were okay and then to check on the boys and make sure Lyla got in the house safe, not to mention see Gemma and Nero off. Jenna was fast asleep in dream land once he laid her head on the pillow. He Himself couldn't believe Jax has said things like that about her to her face. Happy never thought proposing would bring out those emotions but he was glad he was doing more than ever just o piss Jax off. Happy kissed her forehead and turned out the light and closed the door behind him leaving her to sleep off the booze and the trauma.
