Smashing Through the Exam with Family's Spirit!

Just when the sun is about to set on the day, Izuku is seen putting some of the garbage in his arms down on the pile and wipe the sweat off his forehead as he continue his workout with cleaning up the beach. But what he hasn't realize is that he is about done with the workout completely.

"No way, Izuku you did it!" Sayo said joyfully.

"Huh?" Izuku puzzled of what his big sister meant.

Izuku look at the beach and his eyes widen of shock, the entire beach has been cleaned up and there is not a single piece of trash anywhere in sight as he looks back at the garbage pile behind him putting two and two together of the realization that he cleaned up the entire beach.

With a proud smile on his face, Izuku let out a victory cry and raising his fist toward the sky almost like he wants Heaven to know that he accomplished his goal

"Good lord, you even cleaned outside the area I told you to." Toshinori shocked as he and Yuuko just arrived.

"Amazing, I knew Izuku could do it." Yuuko said, proud of her son.

"Well done kid, you did better than I thought and finish when the exam is only tomorrow morning. That is just so Super Amazing!" Toshinori transformed into his buff hero form.

"So, does that mean I'm ready?" Izuku asked.

"Ready? Young man, you proven to be more than what you are capable of and surpassed my expectation through the roof! I say you're more than ready!" Toshinori gestured toward the big pile of trash at the top of the stairs.

"It just feels like you, mom, and Sayo have done so much for me in these pass ten months. I'm not even sure I deserve this." Izuku said looking down at his sweaty hand.

"(So, he's been worrying about that.)" Yuuko thought chuckled.

"Young Midoriya, you earned this through your sweat, blood, and tears. Someone once told me this: there's a difference between being lucky and deserving. One's an accident, the other a reward. Never get the two mix up." Toshinori repeated the words his pulls out a single strand of hair from his head.

"Izuku, you have done so much to prove you can be a hero despite the odds stacked against you and never let anyone get you down. Your determination is stronger than that of your father when he wanted to be a hero more than anyone and got his wish." Yuuko said as she starts crying a little.

"You would even risk your life to save others even if it meant getting yourself hurt, that's the kind of heroic spirit everyone needs and show the today's heroes what most have been lacking." Sayo hugged Izuku from behind.

"Take our words to heart. This gift, you have earn this through your own valiant effort alone." Toshinori grinned proudly to his now young successor.

Izuku smiles that all of his hard work and the hellish training he has been through for ten long months, not to mention the other physical training exercise his mom and big sister they put him through with some hand-to-hand combat training too, all the hardships he suffered through from all the insults and doubts people said about him never becoming a hero without a Quirk. He has never felt more joy and proud of himself in all his life, and he will also take the feelings of those who have helped him to heart in journey of a hero to remember how he gotten his far.

"Now, eat this!" Toshinori said holding the hair right in front of them.

Izuku, Yuuko, and Sayo went silent for about ten seconds as they feel weirded out from what All Might just said.

"What?" The Midoriya family confused.

(Tomorrow, UA Exam Day)

"Wow, UA is even more amazing than I can ever hope for!" Izuku squealed as he is standing in front of the school gate of the Great Hero School in the country, UA High School.

"Yeah, I got the same feeling when I first came here with your father." Yuuko said standing next to him.

"I wish Sayo could have been here, I'm sure she would love to see me off." Izuku said.

"I know, but she got called on Hero duty, but she will definitely be at home to celebrate your survival from the practical exam." Yuuko smiled.

"Yeah, speaking of that. How hard is this practical exam exactly?" Izuku asked nervous.

"I can't give you all the details but let just say that you'll be putting your combat skills we helped you with to the test against metal." Yuuko hinted hoping her son will understand this.

"Okay, I'll keep that in mind." Izuku nodded.

"Hey, move it, Deku." Katsuki demanded as he walk past Izuku and Yuuka.

"Oh, good morning Kacchan! Let's both do our best today!" Izuku scared a little standing up straight, then he notices Katsuki just kept walking.

"It looks like you're still a little scared of Katsuki." Yuuka giggled.

"Yeah, but I notice ever since the sludge villain incident he really hasn't done anything to me at all. No yelling insults, glares or anything." Izuku mentioned.

"I guess the experience of being taken hostage by the villain must've changed him in some ways, but don't forget you're not the same too. You completed training yesterday at sunset." Yuuka smiled.

"Yeah, I did!" Izuku nodded and remember about All Might telling him to eat the hair.

"Though I wish we could figured out a better way to get One for All than eating it." Izuku covered his mouth with his hand which Yuuko also felt weird remembering that part.

"I'm sorry, I should have asked Toshi about it, but what's done is done. Now you just have to focus on passing the exam and you're all set." Yuuko said looking straight in Izuku's eyes.

"Yeah, I will put the training you all helped me with to the test and score big!" Izuku determined.

"Just do your best, and never forget why you want to be a hero. Me and Sayo will always be there for you, no matter what." Yuuko said before suddenly without thinking kiss Izuku on the lips much to his shock as his face becomes red as a tomato.

Yuuko realize this a few seconds later and quickly separate his lips from Izuku's as her face becomes the same color as red like his blushing face, the two went silent for a while until Yuuko finally spoke.

"I… huh, better get going to my office. Good in the exam. BYE!" Yuuko blitzed away.

But despite now being far apart from each other, they're both thinking the same thing.

"(I JUST KISS MY OWN SON?!)" Yuuko mentally panicked.

"(I JUST GOT KISS BY MY OWN MOM?!)" Izuku mentally panicked which also brings up the memory of the time he got kissed by Sayo too.

"Oh man, the kiss from my own mom and sister… is that going to be problem in the near future because most people would think it's not something a family would do and what if we get into big trouble." Izuku mumbled worry.

"Hey, Izuku?" A girl tapped his shoulder.

Izuku stop his worrying thoughts and turn around see two of his new friends he met during his ten-month training, Ochaco and Tsuyu.

"Oh, hey girls, how have been?" Izuku asked trying to act calm.

"Great, a littler nervous about the exam but we're ready as we'll ever be." Ochaco nodded.

"Ribbit. I hope I'll get in, I've been working my butt off with the studying on the books and training myself for the practical exam." Tsuyu said.

"I'm sure you'll get in; your Frog Quirk is amazing that you can do many things a normal frog can't do." Izuku complimented.

"Thanks, I just really want to help people and all." Tsuyu blushed a bit.

"Then let's hurry and go in." Ochaco marched to the front door with Izuku and Tsuyu following her.

"So, just wondering you two didn't see anything weird a little early, right?" Izuku asked nervously.

"You mean like you and your mom kissing each other on the lips." Tsuyu answered bluntly causing Izuku to gasp in silent.

Ochaco only turns her head around slightly barely showing the expression on her face, but her blushing red cheek can be clearly seen, and her eyes were looking nervous and embarrass at the same time.

"Don't worry, it's not like we think its weird or anything and doesn't mean we're not friends anymore." Ochaco stated pressing her fingers together with a slight feeling of jealousy.

"Although, I am a bit curious if that's a thing in your family or just recently because I heard in some cases that siblings would marry each other and even to their parent." Tsuyu wondered.

"I-I'm sure it's n-nothing like that at all!" Izuku stuttered, hoping that is not the case with his family.

"(Yet why does heart feel happy about it?)" Izuku thought asked himself.

(UA Candidate Gathering)

"What's up, UA Candidates? Thanks for tunin' into me, your school DJ. Come on and let me hear ya!" The cool-looking man shouted at the candidates. He is a Pro Hero and a teacher in UA High, the Voice Hero: Present Mic.

Everyone is actually silent even though they are really excited of being here, they're trying to be on their best behavior for the exam.

"Oh, keeping it silent. I can dig that. Now, let's get on with the main show!" Present Mic announced.

"Oh my god, Present Mic is really here! I heard his talk show every week! I can't believe UA High is full of amazing Pro Heroes!" Izuku squealed quietly as best he can.

"Shut up, you damn nerd." Katsuki said.

"Like your application said, today you rockin' boys and girls will be out there conducting ten-minute mock battle in super-hip urban settings." Present Mic said as the large screen behind him shows the areas.

"Grid your loins, my friends. After I drop the mic here, you'll head to your specified battle center, sound good?" Present Mic asked as everyone look at their cards seeing which battle center, they'll be in.

"Alright, everyone, here are your targets. There are three types of faux villains in every battle center. You'll earn points based on their level of difficulty, so better choose wisely." Present Mic mentioned as the screen shows three different shapes of robot-like silhouettes each with a different starting from 1, 2, and 3.

"I wonder if this is what mom meant by the hint, she gave me?" Izuku asked as he looks at the sheet and notices something odd.

"Excuses me, I have a question." A young man with blue hair and glasses raised his hand just as Izuku was about to do the same.

"(Oh, looks like someone already notice it too.)" Izuku thought.

"You mentioned that we needed to fight three villain bots, but there are four on the sheet. If this is an error that was made by even the most promising school, then I simply won't allow it." The glasses-boy said in a serious tone.

"Also, you with the green messy hair." The glasses boy pointed at Izuku making him jump a bit.

"You been mumbling a little, I hope you are taking this seriously otherwise you'll just be wasting UA's time and you might as well go home." The glasses boy said.

"I'm VERY serious about this 100%!" Izuku snapped which is a surprise to himself.

"Okay, okay, take it easy now and let me answer his question. The Fourth villain type is worth 0 points. That guy's just an obstacle we'll be throwing in your way. There's one in every battle center, think of it as a hurdle you should try to avoid. It's not that it can't be beaten, but there's… kinda no point." Present Mic explained.

"I recommend my listeners to ignore it and focus on the ones with the points!" Present Mic advised.

"I see, thank you for the answer." The glasses boy thanked as he bows and sat back down on his sit.

"That's all I gotta say, I sign this one off with our school motto. As General Napoleon Bonaparte once laid down, "A true hero is one who overcomes life's misfortunes." Now that's a juicy poem I would love to read over and over again. You ready to go beyond? Let's hear a Plus Ultra!" Present Mic cheered with his fist in the air.

"(Okay, this is it.)" Izuku thought excited.

(Battle Center B)

All the young candidates are seen exiting the bus and start doing some stretches and warm ups to keep their bodies in shape and ready for the practical exam to start, Izuku is doing his own stretches as well staying focus and hope to remember the combat training he learned from his mom and big sister.

"Okay, each robot have a different number of points and they will come out randomly from any spot of the fake city which they will also be in hiding making it very difficult to find them." Izuku mumbled to think of a plan to get a high enough score to get in.

"Hey, Izuku! You're getting yourself ready?" Ochaco asked walking up to him.

"Yeah, just a little of how tough this exam is going to be with how big this city is." Izuku pointed out.

"Yeah, I didn't think the exam would be this intense, but that doesn't mean we're going to back down from it. We're going to do our best!" Ochaco cheered throwing her fist in the air.

"Y-Yeah, let's do our best!" Izuku surprised of how exciting and ramp up Ochaco is right now.

"(Hmm, I was going to scold that boy for about to bother that girl, but it looks like that isn't the case. Big Brother always did warned me not to jump into conclusions without knowing the facts first.)" The boy with glasses thought watched how Izuku and Ochaco are interacting with each other.

"Okay, so I was thinking maybe we could work together and" Izuku's sentence was cut off when he and everyone heard a loud alarming and saw the large metal doors opening.

Reacting on instinct, Izuku grab Ochaco's hand dragging her along as he ran right into the fake city before the other candidates notice them going in.

"Yo, what the hell are you all standing around here for?" Present Mic called out getting their attention.

"There's no call out timing in real life, so get your butts in gear and start farming up some points unlike the two who are already went in." Present Mic shouted.

And so, the candidates charge right into the fake city in hopes to catch up to Izuku and Ochaoc to get some points and outdo each other too to show off their hard work of training.

Meanwhile with Izuku and Ochaco.

"(Wow, I never knew how strong his hand feels. Probably got that from his mom and he could hold me more-Wait, what am I thinking!)" Ochaco thought gasped as her face turns a little red.

"Izuku, stop!" Ochaco yelled causing Izuku to snap out of his deep thoughts and they stop.

"Oh my gosh, Ochaco! I am so sorry, I didn't even realize what I was doing, grabbing you like that." Izuku apologized.

"It's okay, it just happens and it's not like I didn't enjoy it." Ochaco whispered the last part so he couldn't hear it.

"What was that?" Izuku asked.

"Nothing! I better get going and beat up some robots, see you at the end!" Ochaco ran off on her own.

"Okay, see you later." Izuku waved goodbye and suddenly a villain robot appears dashing behind him.

"Whoa, that came out of nowhere!" Izuku shocked as he is already about to face one.

The villain robot threw a punch at the boy as he dodges it and jumps for a swing kick to the head causing it to stumble backward a bit giving Izuku the change to grab the head and slams it to the ground then quickly perform a strong axe-kick crushing it enough for its body to stop moving.

"I did it. I just took down a robot on my own. YES!" Izuku shouted in victory.

But the exam has only just begun.
