Happy Pride month everyone!
T/Ws: More Belarus Stalking and threats of violence
Chapter 22: Stay Out of It
Luckily for everyone, after a few hours things had mostly gone back to normal. Only difference was Ivan was more insistent on pushing his sister off him and Lithuania was only staring at the ground.
They had done gifts earlier but Gilbert had managed to quickly get together a fake one to give in front of everyone after they made their deal.
However, now that Belarus and Ukraine were busy cooking with Ivan doing some work in his office, Gilbert took his chance to give Ivan his real gift.
Gilbert did his secret knock from back in Stalingrad before walking on in.
'Prussia! You wait for my answer first!' Ivan said annoyed as he quickly slammed shut the folder he had been looking at.
'Working on your birthday, that's lame!' Gilbert laughed, flipping on the chair.
'My Boss doesn't give me a choice.' Ivan said sadly.
Gilbert just shook his head and pulled his present from under his jumper.
'Your actual gift.' Gilbert smiled.
Ivan looked at it confused before unwrapping it carefully.
Inside was a white silk dressing gown with sunflower embroidered on the one side.
'This is so nice, where did you get it?' Ivan asked in awe.
'The market Lithuania sends me to get food from, there's this nice little old lady there who makes and sells clothes who I have befriended. Got her to make it.' Gilbert smirked.
'You making friends with a little old lady. I refuse to believe it.' Ivan laughed.
'I can make friends with anyone. Who doesn't want to be friends with the awesome me. Apparently I reminded her of her dead husband so clearly I am a desirable man. Consider yourself lucky to be in my presence.' Gilbert said cockily.
'I do not understand how. Your attitude is so annoying, da.' Ivan smiled softly.
'Its not attitude Russki, it's awesomeness!' Gilbert corrected.
Ivan really wanted to hug and kiss Gilbert right now. However he knew that if Belarus even sensed it all hell would break lose.
'That reminds me. You are handy da?' Ivan said to the Prussian.
'Of course!' Gilbert beamed.
'Can you grab a spare door from the garage and replace my broken one. I would like to sleep without my sister getting in tonight.' Ivan sighed.
'The fact you have spares... You have one weird ass family Russia.' Gilbert laughed softly.
Ivan couldn't take it anymore. He had to take the risk. He jumped up from the desk and planted his lips on the Prussians. He missed the touch.
Gilbert was surprised by didn't try to pull away. Instead he pulled the Russian in closer.
'I miss cuddling you. I miss you petting my hair until I fall asleep. My beds so cold now.' Ivan whispered as he pulled away.
'I would too if I was you, I am so awesome.' Gilbert whispered back.
'Can you ever be sincere?' Ivan laughed.
'Hey it's only two more days right. Then the awesome me will cuddle you all you want because I am so awesome.' Gilbert said softly, the closest to sincerity the Prussian wouldn't get most of the time.
'I know… I know.. I love you.' Ivan sighed, pulling away.
'You are always so sappy you softy.' Gilbert smiled softly as he sat back down.
'Go and fix the door Prussia.' Ivan said, grabbing his folder again.
'Yes Comrade Russia.' Gilbert said in a mocking tone as he stood straight and saluted before marching out.
'God you're annoying.' Ivan said lovingly after Gilbert left.
Gilbert wasted no time grabbing one of the doors from the garage. Looking everywhere he was surprised to find a massive stack of them with a cloth over them and boxes on top.
'Mein Gott!' Gilbert laughed before he began to grab the stuff from the top so he could get to them.
'Note to self, sort this fucking garage later.' Gilbert rolled his eyes.
Ivan was not exactly the most neat or organised person. Gilbert was forever having to pick his dirty clothes up from the floor and tidy up after him. It was a good thing that he was a whizz at cleaning or he might have snapped the Russian's neck by now out of frustration.
After getting one of the doors he lifted it up and took it out the garage into the hallway, before grabbing the tool kit and bringing it too. Deciding he would take the tool kit upstairs first so he could dismantle the remains of the old door.
He was surprised when he pushed the door open to get to the hinges to see Belarus in her brother room, sitting on the floor in a pile of yesterdays cloths, sniffing his fucking underwear.
'WAS ZUR HÖLLE!' Gilbert screamed in shock dropping the tool kits.
'Thats so fucking gross!' Gilbert sputtered out.
Belarus just glared at him as he pulled out a knife and walked on over, underwear still in hand.
'Keep out of this Nazi boy.' Belarus growled as she walked closer.
'Uh, no. I do what I fucking want and I am not a fucking Nazi you creepy freak.' Prussia spat.
'I am keeping these.' Belarus said walking up to him and pointing the knife at his neck.
'Can you not take no as a fucking answer or something. God you are just as stubborn as your fucking Brother is. He isn't gonna want to fuck you, your his sister dumbass.' Gilbert spat.
Belarus pushed the Prussian out the way enough she could slip by, keeping the knife pointed his way.
'I am going to tell him you know.' Gilbert sighed.
'Do it Nazi boy.' Belarus said before slipping into her own room to do god only knows what with her new item.
'I AM NOT A FUCKING NAZI!' Gilbert screamed frustrated.
Gilbert just rolled his eyes before going into the room and folding up Ivan's dirty laundry neat into the hamper.
Once he was done he began working on the door. Hoping that this wouldn't all be in vain and that this woman wasn't going to just kick it down again.
After taking off the old door and attaching the fittings to the new one, Gilbert had finally finished and looked proudly at his work.
'Good job Prussia! You are much quicker than Lithuania.' Ivan smiled as he stood by him.
'Of course I am! I am the awesome Prussia!' Gilbert smirked.
'Honestly you are so strange…' Ivan sighed with a smile.
'Oh yeah… Your sister stole some of your underwear…' Gilbert sighed.
'Yeah… that makes sense. I find some always go missing when she is around.' Ivan said sadly.
'Why do you not do more to stop her?' Gilbert asked, confused.
'I have tried, she is really scary and I don't want to hit my sister.' Ivan said pained.
'God you're a softy when you want to be aren't you.' Gilbert laughed softly.
'Gilbert. Please just stay out of this okay. I appreciate you trying to defend me but leave this to me and Ukraine okay. I would hate for her to retaliate against you.' Ivan whispered.
'I am not going to just sit there quietly as she does that to you.' Gilbert scoffed.
'You will. Please. You are going to make things worse.' Ivan looked at him with his eyes watering.
'Fine.' Gilbert said reluctantly.
