"Sure," you answer the Announcer, walking over to stand beneath Amae. "Just give me a second." As you gather your mana, you pause, then speak to the man again. "Just to make it clear, I'm going to do two things here. The first will create an effect that slows falls. That won't have any effect until I 'cut the string' that's holding her up, so to speak, at which point she'll just drift down like a feather. Is that alright?"
"That sounds fine."
You nod, and work your magic. As promised, as soon as the second spell takes effect, Amae begins to sink back towards the floor, a bit faster than she originally ascended but still well within the bounds of safety. Given the girl's slight build and your own bulk, you're able to catch and support her easily enough, at which point you wonder what exactly what you should do with her. The tournament officials provide that answer easily enough, having you set Amae onto one of their stretchers, which - after a brief inspection - they carry off towards the infirmary. You vacate the ring quickly after that, making room for Krillin and Morgiana.
[x] Observe the Krillin versus Morgiana match with ki sight.
Given what you saw the bald boy do in the last round, you have your ki sight up and running before the Announcer has begun the match. It's your hope that Krillin will pull out his ki blast again - or possibly some other technique - allowing you to steal a few more pointers.
In that regard, sadly, you are disappointed. Krillin is obviously no slouch in the strength department, but Morgiana is even stronger, and quite a bit faster besides. Skillwise, you think Krillin has the edge, but he's taking such a pounding that it hardly matters. At one point, he manages to throw Morgiana clear across the ring - and that time, you definitely see his aura flare, if only to exhibit the signs of a simple technique that you're already capable of - but the redhead curls up in mid-air and slams her heels down hard and skids backwards several feet, leaving deep grooves in the shattered tiles behind her. Or in front of her. Or both. Whichever. Morgiana's aura is so faint you can't tell how she's channeling it, if indeed she is using it at all.
Krillin stares at the girl for a second, gulps almost audibly, and then brings his hands together. This is the moment you've been waiting for, and you fix your attention on the young monk-
-only for a wordless, deafening howl to assault your ears and tear your attention away from Krillin. Morgiana's wide open mouth clearly indicates where that thunderous bellow originated, but you can't imagine how someone as small as her produced such a massive noise. Either the volume or the sheer shock of hearing a roar that a lion would be proud of coming from what seems to be a human throat is enough to shake Krillin's concentration, and what little ki he'd gathered drifts apart in his hands, right before Morgiana takes a running leap across the ring and smashes into him like a wrecking ball. As with Cordelia and Kasumi, both fighters go tumbling over the edge, but it's clearly Krillin who hits the ground first. They tumble along for a moment and come to a rough stop when they collide with the wall separating the arena proper from the spectators' seats. Krillin has his back to the wall, and Morgiana practically sitting on his lap.
With no hair in the way, you can clearly see the entire back and side of Krillin's head light up in an atomic blush as the Announcer calls the match. Morgiana flips up and nods to her still red-faced opponent before walking off, and Krillin slowly picks himself up to stagger towards the waiting area with a goofy grin. You wonder absently if he hit his head in that fall, but you dismiss the thought, because something far more important has come up.
As soon as the officials finish replacing the broken tiles in the arena, it'll be Tatsuki's turn to fight Gorn.
