Teen Titans Unlimited
Spoiler alert: This chapter will focus on Raven and show her leadership skills. I will also introduce a knew new Titan who I read about online. His powers are the same as in the comics but I made up a few tricks he can do.
Titans South
In the darkness of their secret lair, Slade was with his allies Brother Blood, Blackfire, and the Brotherhood of Evil. The only members of their alliance who were not present were Madame Rouge, General Immortus, and Elephant Man. Slade was sitting at a table playing chess with the Brain while Monsieur Mala sat next to them and watched with interest. Far behind them Brother Blood and Blackfire were working at a large supercomputer, which showed plans for Cyborg's upgrades on the giant monitor.
Slade moved his king forward before looking at the Brain as he inquired, "All the pieces are in place?"
The Brain simply stared forward as he said, "Our operatives have been spying on our young friends and feeding us intel. Raven is on her way to join them as we speak."
Slade folded his arms as he stared at the board and curiously asked, "And what of our associate?"
Monsieur Mala looked at Slade as he calmly answered, "He will rendezvous with them later and begin their attack."
The Brain kept staring forward as he added, "And we have assembled our army to make things truly difficult for them. If they prevail we will learn all that we need to know to destroy them, and if they fall then they shall not stand in our way. Bishop takes knight."
Mala moved the Brain's bishop and knocked over one of Slade's knights before taking it off the board with a smile on his face.
Slade stared at the board as he placed his finger against the bottom of his mask in thought as he said, "Brilliant strategy, but we must not underestimate them. The Titans have grown stronger and more organized in their time. We must learn everything about them if we are to wipe them out forever."
The Brain was not concerned as he said, "Not to worry Monsieur Slade. The young are strong but they are no match for our intellect. With each of our experience with the founding Titans and the aid of our allies in evil we will soon all that we need to know about them."
Slade then moved his queen while he said, "And then we'll destroy them and claim our rule over the world."
Mala smiled ambitiously as he said, "Oui."
Slade had his arms folded as he stared at the board while the Brain said, "As we stalk them within the darkness and plan our strike, they will be helpless to stop us."
Slade kept staring at the board as he seriously said, "Still, we shouldn't be overconfident. Raven is the most powerful of them all. I speak from experience."
The Brain was not deterred as he said, "Perhaps, but she will no match for the cunning of my best agent. Rook takes queen."
Mala smiled as he moved the Brain's rook and knocked over Slade's queen as he said, "I know I would not wish to be caught in the middle between them."
Slade had an evil look in his eye as he agreed, "I couldn't agree more."
Meanwhile Raven was flying high in the sky with her hood up and her cloak blowing in the wind as she flew over a baron desert in Mexico. The sun was shining as it was in the middle of the day as Raven flew on her way to her destination, focusing on her mission.
As she flew she stared forward and sarcastically said to herself, "When there's trouble they just have to call me, not someone else."
Opening theme song
Raven was flying over the desert by herself when she answered her Communicator and got a call from Beast Boy.
She saw Beast Boy's face on the screen as he was in the living room of the Tower, smiling as he said, "Hey Raven, how's it going?"
She was annoyed as she sarcastically complained, "Great. The sun is burning bright. It's a hundred and two degrees in the shade, and there's not a drop of water for miles."
Beast Boy was annoyed by her tone as he glared at her and said, "You should've brought something to drink."
Raven kept staring forward as she said, "It's a good thing I put on sunblock."
Beast Boy smiled as he said, "Yeah, I'll bet you burn easily."
Raven was annoyed as she said, "Just tell me everything's okay back home."
Beast Boy smiled as he brushed his hand through the air confidently as he said, "Oh yeah, we got everything under control here. What about you?"
Raven kept flying as she said, "I'm almost at Sunspot City."
Beast Boy smiled pleasantly as he said, "Good. When you get there just worry about helping the Titans South. Kid Flash said they need help working together as a team."
Raven stared forward as she tediously said, "I know, and I have a feeling I'm gonna have my work cut out for me."
Beast Boy smiled optimistically as he cockily said, "Nah, all you got do is show them how it's done."
She then hung up and flew over one mountain and came to Sunspot City, which was a huge city oasis in the middle of the desert with a small river on the edge of it. It had several large powerplants that collected solar energy, which was easy to get there in the desert. Raven flew over the city as she approached the Titans South's Tower, which looked much like hers in Jump City, but the walls were darker. It was built on a small butte that overlooked the city with a spectacular view of both it and the desert around it.
Raven landed on the roof of the Tower where Kid Flash was waiting as he said, "Raven! Glad you could make it!"
Raven pulled her hood down as she calmly asked, "Where are the Titans South?"
Kid Flash pointed his finger down as he honestly said, "They're in the main room. You know, I gotta admit, when Robin picked you to come I thought 'what was he thinking?"'
Raven glared at Kid Flash, prompting him to smile nervously as he held his hands up and said, "But I'm sure you'll do great. See ya!"
He then zoomed off with his superspeed as he ran down the side of the Tower and zipped off toward the horizon.
Raven watched him before sighing and walking inside as she said, "Hopefully I don't have too much to do."
The Titans South were in the main room of their Tower, whish had the same layout as the Titans' but they had a large round table with "T" on it. A kitchen area was to the right of it and there were two large couches in front of them with a chair between them. The window had a great view of the city and there was a large computer terminal in front of it with a large keyboard. The room was also a mess as there was trash all over the floor and boxes that contained things that had not been unpacked yet. Pantha was washing some dishes in the sink while Hot Spot walked behind her and got something out of the fridge. He pulled out a burrito and heated it up in his hand before he took a bite out of it while Pantha watched him.
She watched him as she rudely commented, "Your powers are so feeble."
Hot Spot pointed at her as he angrily said, "Hey! I may not have superstrength but I can do way more than just heat up cold food! What can you do besides smash and lift things?!"
Pantha smiled slyly as she took a cantaloupe and tossed it in the air and cut it to pieces with one slash of her nails/claws. She caught all the slices in her hand and smiled smugly at Hot Spot, who was quite impressed as he stared at her.
He then glared as he said, "At least I can fly!"
They both turned their heads as they heard a voice shout, "You're not the only one!"
A boy the same size and age as Beast Boy flew in, surfing on a platform made of purple glowing bricks made out of energy. He flew in and swerved around the room while a little boy sat in the chair and smiled and laughed as he watched him. The boy was a toddler who looked to be approximately two or three years old with white skin, green eyes, and short black hair. The boy wore a grey short sleeve shirt with long brown overalls and grey tennis shoes that fit his feet perfectly. The older boy flew over by Pantha and Hot Spot and hovered in front of them before lowering himself on his platform of energy bricks. It disappeared and the boy smiled with his arms folded while Hot Spot and Pantha glared at him with annoyed expressions. The boy had a head shaped somewhat like Robin's and he had black skin, but his costume covered all of his body except his neck and the bottom of his head. His costume was dark purple and orange with a pattern that somewhat resembled the layout of bricks in a wall. His upper and sleaves were purple with orange shoulder pads and gloves that went over his wrists, his midsection was orange but he had purple pants, and he had orange boots with black straps on the fronts. He wore a purple and orange bandana for a mask with the sides being purple and the middle looking like an orange upside down "T", and the straps hanging from the back of his head were orange.
He smiled cockily as he pointed at Pantha then Hot Spot while he bragged, "You may be strong and you may be hot, but neither of you can do what I do."
Pantha glared at the boy as she pointed at him and said, "Your structures are as strong as your will and mine is much stronger than yours."
The boy was offended as he said, "Oh really?!"
Pantha nodded and clinched her fist as she proudly said, "Si! Pantha is undefeated in combat, in and out of the ring!"
Hot Spot glared at her as he angrily said, "Well that can easily change!"
The three young heroes started angrily arguing with each other until a pink hex hit them and knocked them down. They all turned their heads as Jinx walked toward them with a stern expression on her face as she stood over them.
She kept glaring as she strictly said, "Stop fighting already! I'm the leader and I say we need to be working together as a team! We can't fight bad guys if we're fighting each other! And we can't fight crime with our Tower a pigsty! We need to clean this place up!"
The three of them stood up as Pantha defiantly asked, "Why should you be leader? I am the oldest!"
Jinx glared at Pantha as she raised one finger on her fight hand, then two while she said, "Yes but I'm the most powerful, and I have more experience leading teams."
Hot Spot folded his arms as he disrespectfully said, "Yeah, you led one team of amateur bad guys who couldn't steal sand from a beach."
Jinx glared at him before the other boy said, "Yeah, and you're not that powerful! My bricks can stop your bad luck magic!"
Jinx put her hands on her hips as she looked at him and said, "Trust me, you have no idea how powerful I really am!"
The four of them started yelling and arguing while the toddler stayed on the chair and watched them while peeking at them.
Raven was now inside as she watched the four of them argue and then loudly said, "Excuse me!"
They immediately stopped and turned to her before Raven happily floated to her and landed as she said, "Raven! Glad you're here. Meet the Titans South."
Pantha and Hot Spot stayed where they were while the boy in the purple and orange costume created a platform of glowing purple energy bricks under his feet.
He flew over to Raven and floated in front of her while she stared at him as Jinx said, "This is Bunker."
Bunker smiled cockily as he held his hands out and made more purple energy bricks fly around them before they joined together to form one large block.
While he did this he bragged, "Hola! I have an act for being supportive, artistic, and creative. I build walls when needed and hit like a ton of bricks!"
Raven then looked at Jinx with an impatient expression as she asked, "Translation?"
Jinx held her left hand out toward Bunker as she explained, "Bunker can create bricks out of solid light energy and use them to build whatever he wants, and he can make them do what he wants. He can use them to carry himself and other people."
Raven was not very impressed as she looked back at Bunker and said, "So a superpowered architect. Useful."
Bunker looked somewhat insulted as he surfed away on his platform of psionic bricks, then Raven noticed the others and was surprised.
She then curiously asked, "Shouldn't their be five of you?"
Suddenly she looked down and noticed the toddler who came and looked up at her in curiosity and she was annoyed as she said, "Please tell me this isn't number five."
Jinx smiled sheepishly as she said, "Sorry, this is our last member."
The boy kept looking up at her as he said, "Waven."
Raven was surprised as she got down on one knee and stared at the boy as she said, "Do I know you?"
The boy then put his hands on his head and pointed his fingers up as he pretended they were horns and snorted like a beast. Raven was uncertain what he was doing but felt like there was something familiar about the boy and what he was doing reminded him of someone, but she couldn't figure it out.
Pantha came and scooped the boy up in her left arm and smiled proudly as she said, "He is the strongest of us all."
Raven stood up with a surprised expression as she looked at Jinx who smiled as she said, "Big things come in small packages."
Raven did not understand but did not question her as she said, "I hope you're right."
Jinx then held her left hand out and said, "And you already know Pantha and Hot Spot."
Pantha nodded before she walked away with the toddler while Hot Spot heated up some food in his hand.
He turned and greeted Raven before glaring at Pantha and Bunker as he said, "Hey Raven, good to have a real Titan here. Someone with REAL power."
He then ate while Bunker and Pantha looked away with sneers and Raven looked at Jinx and said, "Hard time adjusting?"
Jinx let out an exhausted sigh as she honestly said, "Yeah. Getting to work together is a lot harder than it was when I was leading the H.I.V.E. Five. Don't get me wrong, they're WAY better, but I wish we did better together as a team."
Raven looked at Jinx with a calm expression before turning to the others while she said, "They just need to get used to living together. Get to know each other better. Trust me, when we started out we argued a lot. Listen everyone! With more bad guys appearing and them plotting against us we need to be more organized. So let's get to work and fixup this Tower. The sooner we start the sooner we finish."
They all agreed and split up as they started fixing up the Tower, making things look better as they cleaned up the trash. When they finished they moved on to the rest of the Tower and got all the other rooms fixed up as they unpacked boxes. Raven was with Jinx in her new room as she used her telekinesis to help her unpack her items and furniture. When they were finished Raven smiled as she liked Jinx's room, as it reminded her of her room back home, and Jinx smiled at her gratefully. Pantha carried large heavy boxes as she filled the gym with various high-tech exercise equipment designed to test their specific powers. Afterwards she unpacked her own belongs in her new room and got the furniture arranged the way she liked it and smiled at it. Bunker flew through the halls on a large platform of his psionic bricks that carried several boxes, which he unpacked in different rooms. He got his room set up just the way he liked it and smiled happily as he turned on a TV and smiled as he watched it with joy. Hot Spot got his bedroom set up before he flew through the hall by shooting fire from his arms and then went down into another room full of metal. He used his powers to weld metal together and made one large machine as he smiled proudly to himself. The toddler boy did not help really but accompanied the others while they got the other rooms ready and they supervised him. They finished as they gathered in the hangar/garage and Pantha smiled as she stared at her black and yellow sports car.
They all looked around and smiled as Bunker happily said, "Excelente!"
Raven agreed as she calmly said, "Yep, we actually did it."
Hot Spot smiled as he said, "I say we celebrate with churros!"
Pantha smiled at him and Bunker as she said, "I can agree with that."
She, Hot Spot, and Bunker then left the garage while the toddler stayed with Jinx and Raven and watched them leave.
Jinx smiled with her hands on her hips as she said, "Looks like they're starting to get along."
Raven showed a realistic expression as she said, "For now at least."
Jinx then smiled as she pointed her thumb at the door and said, "Come on. Let's go join them."
They started walking while the toddler boy followed them as they proceeded up through the Tower on their way back to the main room.
After a while, when they were walking through the hall, the toddler pulled on Jinx's pantleg and said, "Jinx, tired."
Jinx stopped and looked down at him as she leaned over and said, "Okay, I'll carry you."
She tried to pick him up but he backed away and said, "No!"
Jinx as confused as she said, "Then let's go!"
The boy shook his head as he whined, "No! Tired!"
Jinx started to lose her patience as she said, "Then let me carry you!"
He shook his head as he said, "No!"
Jinx stood up straight as she angrily asked, "Are you tired or not?!"
The boy then said, "Yes!"
Jinx clinched her fists as she glared down at him and yelled, "Then why won't you let me carry you!"
Raven then calmly said, "I think he wants a nap."
The boy nodded and Jinx was surprised when Raven calmly picked him up and used her powers to transport herself, Jinx, and the toddler into his room. They rose out of the floor in a field of her dark magic and Raven gently placed him in his bed and after a while she managed to get him asleep.
Jinx was amazed as she softly said, "How did you do that? I didn't think you'd be so good with kids."
Raven smiled proudly as a thought bubble of Timmy, Melvin, and Teether appeared overhead as she said, "I have some practice."
Jinx smiled at the sleeping toddler and softly joked, "I'm just glad he's potty-trained."
Raven chuckled slightly before the door opened as Pantha came in and they both shushed her before pointing at the napping toddler.
Pantha nodded before pointing her thumb to the side as she softly said, "Come, we made churros for everyone."
She walked out and they followed her and when she was far enough ahead Raven said, "Pantha seems like a good den mother."
They kept walking as Jinx glanced around in thought before smiling as she honestly said, "Yeah, but she doesn't take orders so well. She thinks she should be the leader, not me. I'm not perfect but I know I have what it takes to be leader, I just wish she saw that. Still, it's nice to finally not be the only girl on a team."
Raven smiled with faith as she said, "She'll come around. You just need a chance to show them what you can do."
Jinx smiled at Raven but then they entered the main room and found Pantha, Hot Spot, and Bunker arguing.
Bunker angrily pointed at Hot Spot as he yelled, "That's my churro! It was on my plate!"
Hot Spot held the churro in his hand as he angrily replied, "You've got two more left, and I only had one already!"
As he got angry he accidentally burned the churro and he angrily said, "Now look what you made me do!"
Pantha looked at them both with no tolerance as she said, "Just take another!"
Jinx angrily stomped over to them as she said, "Hey! Stop it!"
They all started arguing and yelling as a cloud of smoke appeared with their heads, hands, and feet coming in and out of it as they fought.
Raven watched with a throbbing forehead vein before fire appeared around her as she yelled, "QUIET!"
They immediately stopped arguing and looked at her as she seriously said, "Petty arguing is pointless! If you're going to be a team you need to get your act together. If you can't get along you'll never be able to stop bad guys."
They looked at each other with regret and sadness before an alarm sounded and Jinx said, "Trouble!"
Raven narrowed her eyes as she said, "We need to check this out. Someone get the kid."
Pantha nodded before she hurried out of the room; sometime later the Titans South went to a solar power plant in Sunspot city. People were running in fear as explosions occurred behind them but stopped when they saw the Titans South in front of them.
The workers stared at Pantha at the front of the group as they happily cheered, "Pantha! We're saved!"
They kept cheering while Pantha smiled cockily while Jinx, Bunker, and Hot Spot glared at her jealously while the toddler smiled at her.
Pantha smiled as she assured, "Fear not! We are the Titans South, here to save you!"
Raven then floated in front of her as she seriously said, "Now what's going on?"
Suddenly they all heard a man's voice say, "You children are about to witness the magnitude of my brain power!"
They all turned to see Psimon floating ten feet in the air with his arms folded over his chest as he smiled arrogantly.
Raven glared at him with her hood up as she coldly said, "Psimon!"
Psimon smiled arrogantly as he said, "Hello Raven. So good to see you again. A pity your friends are not here by your side, especially the green one."
Raven ignored his taunts as she demanded, "What are you doing here, Psimon?"
Psimon smiled evilly as he said, "We wanted to test your new friends to see how good they truly are."
Jinx immediately became suspicious as she inquired, "We?"
Psimon smiled deviously as the pink lines on his brain glowed and he opened up a pink portal behind himself. Out of this portal emerged most of the Brotherhood of Evil's main members: General Immortus, Madame Rouge, and Elephant Man. There were also a few dozen robot soldiers with them, armed with laser rifles as they awaited orders from their general.
The Titans South were shocked as they stared at them while Raven said, "The Brotherhood of Evil!"
Psimon smiled evilly as he said, "Yes, they asked for my assistance in destroying you."
The portal closed and Immortus smiled as he said, "In all my years, I've learned the greatest weapon is the unexpected."
Madame Rouge had her hands on her hips as she leered at the Titans South and goaded, "How nice, I get to destroy my former nuisances."
Jinx, Hot Spot, and the toddler all glared at her while the little boy stepped forward and Raven worriedly said, "What are you doing?! Get back!"
The little boy angrily stared at the Brotherhood of Evil as he took some deep breaths and suddenly transformed and revealed who he really was. It was Wildebeest: the ferocious hairy horned beast with incredible brute strength and primal heroic fury.
Raven was stunned as she stared at Wildebeest in shock before looking at the others as Pantha proudly said, "We told you he was the strongest."
Wildebeest raised his fists over his head as he roared in fury as he prepared to attack when Psimon said, "Child's play."
The pink lines on his brain glowed bright as he used his telepathy on Wildebeest, who held his head in pain while the others looked at him with concern.
Psimon smiled evilly as he said, "You're mine now."
Wildebeest stopped and opened his eyes as they glowed pink and he turned to the others as he glared with hostility.
Pantha nervously said, "Wildebeest?"
Psimon smiled evilly as he yelled, "Destroy them!"
Wildebeest then roared ferociously as he raised his fists over his head and then slammed them onto the ground.
Commercial break
Wildebeest slammed both his fists on the ground and caused a small earthquake as he smashed the concrete and sent chunks of it toward the Titans South.
They all got back and fell on their backs as Wildebeest glared at them and Bunker asked, "Amigo! What are you doing?!"
Raven floated by them as she urgently said, "It's Psimon! He's using his psychic powers to control Wildebeest!"
Hot Spot looked at Raven in shock as he asked, "He can do that?!"
Raven looked at him out of the corner of her eye as she said, "He can do a lot of things."
Psimon smiled arrogantly as he bragged, "I would takeover your minds as well, but his mind was just too easy to control. No resistance. Now, destroy them Wildebeest."
Wildebeest snorted in fury before charging at them, faster than a car as he prepared to ram them until Bunker held his hands out. He created a wall of his psionic bricks in front of them, which Wildebeest crashed into as he came to a stop. He then angrily started punching the wall repeatedly while Bunker grunted in exertion as he struggled to keep it up. Wildebeest finally broke the brick wall of energy as he smashed it with both fists while Bunker cried in exhaustion. Wildebeest ran at them with his hands out before Hot Spot held his arms out and shot a stream of fire at him.
He knocked him back before Hot Spot stopped and Pantha said, "Do not hurt him!"
She ran at Wildebeest as he got up and they grabbed each other's hands and held each other in place as she struggled to hold him.
She grunted and struggled as she desperately said, "Wildebeest, it is me! Pantha! Your sister! Do not fight us!"
He was too strong for her as he lifted her up and smashed her into the ground before throwing her away, sending her crashing into a giant solar panel.
Madame Rouge showed a sick smile as she said, "How amusing."
Jinx then threw her arms out and shot a hex at Wildebeest that blew up against him and made him stumble backwards as he cried in pain. He glared at her as he ran and tried to smash her with both fists but she dodged him as she floated over him and looked down at him. He jumped and grabbed her as he held her in his hands and stared her in the face as he prepared to crush her as she grunted in pain. Wildebeest released her when he was hit by a ray of Raven's black magic and knocked away from Jinx before he got up.
Raven floated in front of the Titans South as they regrouped behind her and she said, "I'll help him!"
She levitated above the ground with her legs in Indian style as she held her hands at her side and meditated. Her black astral form left her body and flew into Wildebeest's head and he started holding his head in pain as he jerked around.
Psimon watched in distress as he said, "No! No!"
Wildebeest stopped when his eyes stopped glowing pink and returned to normal and then Raven's astral form left his head and returned to her body.
She floated in front of him as she solemnly said, "You're free."
Wildebeest smiled at her before turning to Psimon and the Brotherhood of Evil as he glared at them while the others joined him.
Raven took the lead as she yelled, "Titans go!"
Jinx stared at the bad guys as she fiercely said, "I've got a plan! Pantha, you…"
Before she could finish her sentence, Pantha pounded her fist and yelled, "Rip them apart!"
Wildebeest roared in rage as he and Pantha ran toward the villains while Hot Spot and Bunker took flight. Jinx let out a groan of annoyance before she started running to help her team while Raven flew ahead of them.
The Titans South then advanced toward them while General Immortus ordered, "Attack!"
The robot soldiers, Elephant Man, and Madame Rouge all attacked the Titans South while Psimon angrily flew over them. Raven flew toward him as she held her hands out and shot a beam of her black magic at him, but he countered it with a pink beam of his psionic energy. The beams collided and caused a small explosion before Psimon held the dome over his brain as the pink lines on it glowed.
He tried to take control of Raven's mind but could not as she defiantly said, "Your mind tricks won't work on me. Azarath Metrion Zinthos!"
She encased several huge chunks of debris in her dark energy and hurled them all at Psimon, who held his hands out as he telekinetically stopped them. Raven's eyes glowed white as she kept holding her arms out and tried to move the debris but all the chunks stayed in place while encased in her dark energy. Eventually the chunks of debris were destroyed and Raven stared at Psimon with an impressed expression as he floated in front of her.
He smiled evilly as he taunted, "Do you think you're the only one whose powers came from Trigon?"
Raven was shocked but glared at him with her eyes glowing white and her black magic covering her hands while Psimon telekinetically lifted chunks of concrete in the air. While they fought the Titans South battled the Brotherhood of Evil and their robot soldiers; Pantha jumped high in the air and body slammed one robot. She destroyed it and caused an explosion and shockwave that destroyed several more robots around her. She got up and smashed one robot soldier's head with her fist before throwing it at another one, destroying it. She then slashed several robot soldiers with her claws, cutting them to pieces before she ran to fight some more. Jinx floated a couple of feet in the air as four robot soldiers aimed their weapons at her, but she did not move as her eyes glowed pink. The weapons suddenly blew up in the robots' hands and then Jinx held her hands out and shot a pink hex of her bad luck magic that destroyed the robots. She was then surrounded by several more robot soldiers but she threw her arms out at her sides and sent out a wave of her bad luck magic in every direction, destroying all the robots around her.
Bunker was surfing through the air on a platform of his psionic bricks as a few robot soldiers flew after him, firing their laser rifles. He dodged their shots before turning around and flying backwards as he constructed a weapon of his purple energy bricks over his right arm. It looked like a long cannon with a round area over his arm and hand and a long box-shaped nozzle sticking out. He fired three energy bricks from his cannon at the robots and successfully hit all three of them as the purple energy bricks exploded on impact. Bunker smiled as his brick cannon vanished, then one robot soldier flew and landed on the platform he was riding. It prepared to shoot him but Bunker pulled his arms back and constructed a club of his energy bricks in his hands and swung it like a back, knocking off the robot's head. He saw five more robot soldiers flying toward him, but he held his hands out and created a wall of his energy bricks, then he sent it flying at highspeed as it smashed the robots.
On the ground Immortus watched Bunker with an evil smile as he held up a laser rifle and said, "The young, always so overconfident."
He shot his laser rifle and successfully hit Bunker as he cried in pain and his platform disappeared under him, causing him to fall to the ground.
He got up and glared at Immortus as he said, "Okay abuelo, let's see what you got!"
He then constructed large gloves over his hands out of his purple energy bricks and ran at Immortus as he grunted angrily. He tried to punch Immortus but he skillfully dodged his attacks before kicking his leg and knocking him down. Bunker got up and repeatedly tried to punch him with his boxing gloves of purple energy bricks but missed every time. Immortus fired his laser rifle at Bunker but he raised his arms and shielded his face with his gloves before taking his weapon and crushing it in his purple brick hands. He smiled smugly at Immortus, but he was not deterred as he kicked Bunker in the face and knocked him on his back. Meanwhile, Hot Spot was shooting fire from his hands, flying like a human rocket as he avoided shots from robot soldiers flying after him. He turned around and flew back at the robots and threw fireballs from his hands that blew them up before he landed. Several other robot soldiers landed around him and prepared to shoot him but he grunted angrily as he released an explosion of fire from his body that destroyed them. He saw a couple more robots coming toward him, but he shot a stream of fire from both hands and blew them up. One robot landed in front of him but Hot Spot took a deep breath and then breathed fire on the robot and melted it. He smiled triumphantly until he was kicked by Madame Rouge and knocked to the ground, but he got up and glared at her.
She looked mildly annoyed as she said, "I should've destroyed you the last time we met."
Hot Spot then held his arms out and angrily shot a stream of fire at her, but Madame Rouge stretched her body and arms out as she dodged it and then punched him in the face. She knocked him down again but he got up and glared at her as he angrily threw a big fireball at her, only for her to jump out of the way. She stretched her left arm out and swung from a pipe overhead and kicked Hot Spot with both legs and knocked him back. He got up and glared at her as he grunted in anger while his head lit on fire, then he shot fire from his hands and flew at Madame Rouge as he became a living fireball. Madame Rouge looked alarmed as she dodged him as he crashed into a solar panel and blew it up, then he returned to his usual state and glared at her. She morphed her left hand into a mallet and swung it at Hot Spot's face and knocked him down as he lost consciousness. She stood over him and prepared to finish him until she was hit by a pink hex and blasted away from him, she sat up and saw Jinx floated down and landed.
Hot Spot got up as Jinx stood by him and protectively said, "You beat him by himself, but he's not alone this time!"
Hot Spot was surprised but Madame Rouge was not deterred as she dodged a hex Jinx shot at her, which hit the ground behind her and made it crack. Madame Rouge then morphed her left arm into a whip and lashed it at Jinx, hitting her in the face and knocking her down. Jinx got back up and her eyes glowed pink as she made the ground spark with her pink bad luck energy, but Madame Rouge jumped off it just in time. Rocks rose out of the ground and then Jinx floated in the air as threw her arms out and sent a hex out toward Madame Rouge again. Madame Rouge dodged it and it hit a cactus, which suddenly flew out of the ground and hit Jinx, causing her to scream in pain. Her eyes glowed pink as she used her bad luck magic to destroy the cactus and then cried in pain as she pulled a few needles out of her arms.
Madame Rouge smugly grinned at her with her hands on her hips as she gloated, "You are very powerful but you are NO leader."
Jinx angrily got up and yelled in furry as she sent another hex toward Madame Rouge, but she dodged it without difficulty.
Instead, the hex hit Hot Spot and knocked him down as he cried in pain, then Jinx yelled, "Hot Spot!"
Madame Rouge smugly grinned again as she sarcastically gloated, "Exemplary teamwork."
She then stretched her right arm out and punched Jinx in the face, meanwhile Wildebeest destroyed a bunch of robot soldiers by himself. He charged forward like a living bulldozer and smashed several robot soldiers in his way, then grabbed one and ripped it in half. He smashed two more to pieces with his fists before one flew at him, but he impaled it with his horns and broke it in two. He snarled as he stared at the pieces around him but then Elephant Man stomped his foot as he stepped toward him. Elephant Man growled like an elephant as he glared at Wildebeest, who was not afraid, even though Elephant Man was twice his size. Elephant Man roared in fury before Wildebeest charged at him, only to be pounded into the ground as Elephant Man slammed both his fists down on top of him. Wildebeest groaned in pain and anger as he looked up at Elephant Man, who prepared to stomp on him until Wildebeest got up and punched him in the stomach. He knocked the humanoid elephant onto his back before jumping up and landing on top of him, causing a small earthquake as he smashed him into the ground, forming a small crater. Elephant Man then grabbed Wildebeest by his horns with his trunk and stood up as he spun around and threw Wildebeest away.
He tumbled on the ground before getting back up and growled angrily while Elephant Man started charging toward him. Wildebeest charged toward him and the two animal-like beasts collided and caused a small shockwave of force. Wildebeest tackled Elephant Man's stomach and knocked him over, he got back up and roared in pain as Wildebeest stood on his back and pulled his big ears. Elephant Man tried to shake him off but Wildebeest held on tightly, then Elephant Man managed to grab his arm with his left hand and slammed him into the ground. Wildebeest got free from his grip and lifted Elephant Man over his head as he roared in fury and threw him away. He sent him crashing threw a wall but then Elephant Man walked out and used his trunk to suck up small pebbles of rubble. He then shot the pebbles at Wildebeest like bullets, but they did not do any visible damage as the pebbles broke against his body. Wildebeest then snorted and ran to attack Elephant Man, who took a deep breath before emitting his sonic elephant trumpet. Wildebeest stopped and covered his ears in pain as the elephant trumpet hurt his ears, then Elephant Man stopped and jumped high in the air. He slammed down on top of Wildebeest and formed a crater as he knocked chunks of concrete in the air and smashed him into the ground.
Wildebeest groaned in pain as Elephant Man prepared to finish him until Pantha yelled, "Get away from him!"
She jumped at Elephant Man and forced him away from Wildebeest as she clung to his face and held onto his tusks. Elephant Man angrily glared at her as she held his tusks and then punched him in the face, he stumbled back before wrapping his trunk about her waist and threw her away. She hit the ground but immediately got up as he ran at her, but she jumped at him and slashed her claws at him. He shielded his face with his arms and she scratched his skin slightly but he was not badly hurt as he grabbed her leg and repeatedly slammed her into the ground like a ragdoll. She cried in pain as her body smashed into the ground but eventually she kicked him in the face and freed herself. She snarled angrily before she jumped at him with her claws out, but he punched her and sent her flying through the air. Meanwhile Raven shot bolts of black lightning at Psimon, but he dodged them before shooting a pink beam of his psionic energy at her. She cried in pain as the beam hit her and then she noticed the Titans South in trouble, prompting her to join them. She created a wall of her black magic that protected all of them from Madame Rouge and Elephant Man as they regrouped.
Raven dropped her barrier and floated in front of the Titans South and defensively said, "You want them, you go through me!"
Madame Rouge noticed that all their robot soldiers had been destroyed, then she said, "Very well, we'll allow a brief intermission."
She looked at Psimon and nodded at him, prompting him to open a portal, which Immortus and Elephant Man stepped through.
Psimon flew through it while Madame Rouge prepared to go through before smiling evilly and gloating, "You are fortunate Raven was here to help you, otherwise we would've crushed you all."
She stepped through the portal and it closed; Raven showed disappointment as she sarcastically said, "That went well."
She turned around to look at the Titans South and noticed their long faces that gradually turned to anger.
They glared at each other and started arguing as Hot Spot looked at Jinx and yelled, "Nice going fearless leader!"
Jinx glared at him and the others as she angrily said, "Hey! I had a plan but none of you let me say it! You just rushed in without thinking!"
Bunker glared at Jinx as he angrily as he said, "Well you weren't much help! Madame Rouge beat you badly!"
Hot Spot then glared and pointed at Bunker as he defensively said, "At least she didn't get her butt kicked by an old man!"
Pantha glared at all of them while pointing her right thumb at Wildebeest as she said, "You were all weak and only thought of yourselves. I had to save Wildebeest from the Elephant Man while all of you played with the robots!"
Wildebeest growled angrily while Jinx glared at them and said, "We were busy fighting Rouge and Immortus! They're not exactly pushovers!"
They all kept arguing while Raven grew angry and then furiously yelled, "Enough! The Brotherhood of Evil got away with Psimon! No amount of arguing will change that! We need to be ready for their next attack. So let's stop arguing and get back to the Tower."
They all complied and returned to the Titans South's Tower and were in the main room as Raven stared out the window. She turned back to the Titans South; the tension had died down but none of them were happy about their failed attempt. Pantha had made dinner for them but they did not eat very much as they were too depressed by their poor fight against the Brotherhood of Evil. Wildebeest was back in his human form as he came and tugged on Raven's cape, prompting her to look down at him to see him offer her a concha.
Raven got on one knee and politely accepted it before staring at him as she curiously said, "Oh, thanks. You're very nice. So you're Wildebeest?"
He nodded and answered, "Uh huh."
He shut his eyes and tried to change but he did not grow any bigger as he sprouted fur all over his body, small horns out of his head, and his face changed somewhat. His face become somewhat longer and Raven was surprised by this as she stared at him and examined him carefully.
Raven kept looking at him as she honestly said, "That's interesting."
They looked at the others as Pantha spoke up and said, "He turns into the Wildebeest when he is angered. He struggles to control his powers."
Raven understood as she looked at Wildebeest and said, "Considering how young he is, I'm not surprised."
Wildebeest then changed back to normal and frowned, but Raven held his shoulder as she said, "Don't worry, you'll get better as you get older."
At the table, Bunker looked at her as he frowned and said, "Yeah, but he won't get much older if we flop every fight like that one."
Pantha narrowed her eyes as she clinched her fist and said, "When they return we shall fight twice as hard and defeat them!"
Hot Spot's head lit on fire as he clinched his fists and angrily said, "Yeah! We'll show Rouge that she can't mess with us!"
Jinx sternly glared at Hot Spot while pointing at the top of her own head as she said, "Hey hothead, calm down before you set off the smoke alarm."
Hot Spot realized she was right as he calmed down and his head stopped burning and returned to its normal hot self.
He apologized as he explained, "Sorry, my anger makes me burn hotter than usual. I try to keep it cool but it's hard."
Raven joined them as she held Wildebeest and understandably said, "I know how you feel Hot Spot. I need to control my emotions or I risk losing control of my powers."
Hot Spot showed appreciation before looking at Jinx while he said, "Thanks. Hey Jinx, I never said, thanks for the help back there."
Jinx showed half a smile as she said, "You're welcome. That's what teammates do. Sorry I hit you with my hex earlier."
He forgave her as he admitted, "It's okay. I've made some mistakes like that before."
Jinx smiled kindly as she said, "You see? You're not the only one who has to restrain yourself."
Hot Spot had a small smile as he admitted, "You're better at it than I am."
Bunker smiled in agreement as he claimed, "And you are a pretty fighter."
Jinx was flattered as she said, "I'm glad you guys feel that way."
Pantha shot Jinx a small glare as she said, "I still do not think that you should be the leader."
Jinx looked mildly hurt as she turned to Pantha and said, "I'm doing my best, but it would help if you guys listened to me. I want to be a good leader, I don't want to mess it up. I already feel the pressure of accidentally hurting you guys with my powers."
Pantha was somewhat surprised as she seriously said, "Then perhaps you should let someone older bare the burden. I am strong and I can protect you all from any danger."
Jinx narrowed her eyes as she sternly said, "We need to work together and think things through, it takes more than muscle. We can't just rush into a fight without thinking, and we can't just leave each other to fend for themselves."
Raven agreed as she glanced at them and said, "She's right. To be a team you need to help each other and not just do your own thing. The Brotherhood of Evil are going to try something else and you need to be able to face them together."
Pantha had a determined expression as she clinched her fist and said, "They will not defeat us a second time!"
Hot Spot agreed as he made a flame in his right hand and fiercely said, "Yeah! They got lucky that time, but next time we'll make them feel the burn!"
Bunker looked somewhat nervous as he said, "Well we'll bee in trouble if Psimon takes control of any of us again."
Jinx was somewhat anxious as she admitted, "Bunker has a point."
Raven showed a serious expression as she honestly said, "Psimon's a tough villain, but I can handle him. He can read minds and has incredible psychic powers, but I can keep him from mind controlling you and anyone else."
Hot Spot was somewhat overconfident as he smiled and said, "That's something. With you we'll kick their butts for sure!"
Raven looked at all of them as she said, "I can help, but you'll all need to do your part if we're going to stop them."
The Titans South looked at each other with a bit of uncertainty, then Bunker honestly said, "I wish you were our leader."
The others voiced their agreement as Jinx said, "Yeah."
Raven was surprised as she respectfully said, "Thanks, but you really don't want me leading your team. Trust me."
Jinx showed a bit of anxiety as she said, "You'd be better than me."
Hot Spot also expressed anxiety as he agreed, "And me."
Suddenly Wildebeest showed discomfort as he said, "Potty!"
Jinx got out of her seat and took Wildebeest from Raven and said, "Come on, I'll take you to the bathroom."
She walked away with him and when they were out of the room Raven said, "The best leader isn't the oldest, the strongest, or the most powerful. The best leader is the one willing to do anything to protect their teammates."
They thought about what she said as Pantha reluctantly argued, "She does have a strong heart, but so do I."
Raven looked at Pantha as she said, "You could still help her. You're older so you could definitely help her be a good leader."
Pantha looked stubborn as she said, "Perhaps I should be in charge and she can help me."
Raven narrowed her eyes slightly as she said, "You should at least give her a chance to prove herself. Beast Boy led you, Jericho, Mas, and Harold against the Brotherhood of Evil, and he led the Titans West against them. If Beast Boy can be a great leader than so can Jinx!"
They were somewhat surprised by her as they stared at her before looking at each other, then Jinx returned as she held Wildebeest's hand.
They walked back to the table as Jinx said, "He's good."
They went back to the table when Jinx picked Wildebeest up and placed him in a highchair next to Bunker.
Jinx then noticed a smudge on Wildebeest's cheek and calmly said, "Hold still Wildebeest. You've got a smudge on your face."
She moved her hand toward him and gently wiped the smudge off with her thumb, then Wildebeest smiled at her.
Seeing his kind face made Jinx smile warmly as Pantha smiled and admitted, "You are very good with children."
Jinx was surprised as she showed a flattered expression and joked, "Thanks. I gotta say, I'll take him over Gizmo any day."
Pantha, Hot Spot, and Bunker laughed at her joke and Raven noticed this and was pleased that they were getting along for the moment, and she walked away. They were all unaware that Psimon was floating just outside the Tower, using his telepathy to listen to their conversations and read their minds. He smiled deviously before he opened a portal and flew through it; it closed behind him and he emerged from another one in front of Madame Rouge, Immortus, and Elephant Man.
Madame Rouge got right to the point as she seriously said, "Well?"
Psimon smiled arrogantly as he said, "They pose no threat to us. I have been in all their minds and I know their weaknesses. They'll be no match for us."
General Immortus smiled evilly as he said, "Good, then it is time to launch our attack and destroy them all."
They all turned to face a field with an army of their robot soldiers with a couple dozen high-tech tanks driven by some robot soldiers.
Madame Rouge smiled evilly as she said, "It is time for the Titans South to face a true test."
Commercial break
In the main room of the Titans South's Tower, they started to cheer up as they did things to take their minds off of things. Raven and Jinx were meditating as they levitated above the floor while Bunker practiced with his powers. He constructed a few blunt weapons out of his purple energy bricks, first a club then a mallet, which he held in both hands as he swung through the air. Hot Spot was blowing off steam as he shot a few small flames from his fingers and watched them burn up in the air. Pantha sat on the couch with Wildebeest as she held a stuffed animal in front of him and made it dance while he laughed happily. Pantha then turned and noticed Bunker practicing as he crafted large gloves of his energy bricks over his hands and forearms and punched an imaginary target rapidly.
Pantha and Wildebeest joined him as Pantha smiled and said, "Good moves. You are stronger than you look."
Bunker smiled at her with a flattered expression as he said, "Thanks. My brick gloves help me hit even harder."
Pantha was intrigued as she smiled and said, "Really? Can you make those gloves for other people?"
Bunker smiled cockily as he bragged, "Yeah, I can make weapons and armor for other people."
Pantha smiled deviously as she said, "Interesting."
Hot Spot, overhearing them, joined their conversation as he said, "That brick cannon you made was pretty cool too. How'd you do that?"
Bunker smiled as he explained, "Since my bricks are made of energy I can make some that explode, I just use the cannon to aim better and shoot them faster."
Hot Spot was interested as he thought to himself and said, "Interesting. I wonder if you could make some things that would help my firepower."
Bunker was somewhat uncertain as he said, "Maybe."
Jinx stopped meditating as she joined them, having overheard them talking, and she smiled and said, "You know, if we put our heads together I'm sure we could combine our powers to perform some cool moves."
Pantha smiled as she held Wildebeest in her arm and said, "Wildebeest and I have already performed some powerful moves together."
Wildebeest happily giggled while Jinx smiled slyly as she said, "Nice, now think about what else you could do with help from us."
Pantha glanced at her, Hot Spot, and Bunker and smiled deviously as she said, "I can think of a few we could do."
Hot Spot smiled as he looked at Jinx and pointed his finger as he said, "Yeah, and your bad luck could maybe make my firepower even more dangerous."
Jinx smiled as she pointed her finger at Bunker and said, "And Bunker, with your platforms you can carry more than just yourself. You could use them to carry me, Pantha, and Wildebeest."
Bunker nodded but showed a bit of confusion as he said, "Yeah, but you can already fly Jinx."
Jinx nodded with a humble expression as she shrugged her shoulders and said, "Yeah, but I'm not that fast. It helps me in a fight but it's not that good for transportation. You and Hot Spot are way faster flyers so I could use your help."
They understood as Bunker said, "Okay."
Jinx put her hands on her hips with a sly grin as she said, "You know, if we come up with some nice combos, we might be able to stop the Brotherhood of Evil."
The others smiled eagerly as they looked at each other before nodding in agreement and they discussed some of their ideas. Wildebeest did not offer any ideas but they came up with ideas for how they could help him during a fight. While they talked Raven stopped meditating, unable to concentrate without peace and quiet, but she smiled as she saw them working together. As they shared ideas with each other they made each other smile and laugh a few times, and they put their ideas together to thought up powerful combo moves.
When they finished Jinx smiled proudly as she said, "Nice thinking everyone. With these combos, I think the Brotherhood of Evil will be in for a surprise."
Pantha smiled eagerly as she agreed, "Si, they will be muy scared."
They all turned to Raven as she floated in front of them and said, "It looks like you might make a good team after all."
They looked at each other with surprise as Hot Spot said, "Really?"
Raven smiled as she solemnly said, "Yeah, you're coming up with good techniques together and you're helping each other more. It definitely looks like you're getting better at teamwork."
Bunker smiled hopefully as he said, "Maybe we can protect Sunspot!"
Jinx put her hands on her hips with a serious expression as she honestly said, "Don't get ahead of yourselves. We haven't won anything yet."
Raven agreed as she seriously said, "She's right. We still have to see how you do in battle. When they strike we'll stop them."
Realizing they were right, Pantha nodded at Hot Spot and Bunker before they separated and left Jinx and Raven alone.
Raven suddenly got a call on her Communicator, which she answered and saw Beast Boy's smiling face as he said, "Hey Raven, how's it going over there?"
Raven showed a blank expression as she answered, "Could be better, but could be worse."
Beast Boy then curiously asked, "What's up?"
Raven did not change her expression as she replied, "We lost to the Brotherhood of Evil earlier."
Beast Boy immediately became concerned as he said, "The Brotherhood of Evil?! Are you okay?! Do you need help?!"
Raven was mildly annoyed as she said, "We're fine Beast Boy. They got us and had Psimon helping them but we're getting ready to face them again. The Titans South are getting along better, so I think we have a decent chance at stopping them."
Beast Boy relaxed and smiled as he said, "Okay, have fun. See you back home. If you see the Brain, tell him I said hi!"
Raven showed half a smile as she said, "Will do. Bye Beast Boy."
She hung up and Jinx smiled teasingly at Raven as she said, "Your boyfriend seems eager to see you again."
Raven glared at Jinx with an annoyed expression as she said, "He is NOT my boyfriend! He's stupid and a pain in my butt!"
Jinx smiled slyly as she folded her arms and said, "I used to feel the same way about Kid Flash, and look at us now."
Raven stubbornly replied, "Kid Flash is just as bad as Beast Boy, I don't know what you see in him. I wouldn't date either one of them."
Jinx kept smiling as she sarcastically said, "Uh huh. Sure."
Raven kept glaring when suddenly the alarm went off and she floated to the window and said, "I think we have a problem."
Jinx floated over and joined her as she looked out and saw the Brotherhood's army approaching their Tower. Some robot soldiers were marching on the ground with the tanks while others flew in the air overhead, and Madame Rouge, Immortus, Elephant Man, and Psimon were in front of the army.
Jinx turned to the others and urgently yelled, "We're under attack!"
The Brotherhood's army was approaching the Tower as they proceeded through the desert area between it and the city. They stopped and watched as the Titans South emerged from their Tower and made their way toward the army. Wildebeest was in his in his monstrous form and ready to fight as he glared at all of them while Raven and Bunker floated over them. Madame Rouge and Elephant Man stood in front of the robots and tanks while Psimon floated over them and General Immortus operated a hovering platform.
Rouge smiled sadistically as she said, "So the Titans South have come out to play."
Jinx glared at her as she said, "You shouldn't have come here!"
She kept smiling evilly as she said, "We wanted to give you children a lovely housewarming. Now let us see if you can protect your home."
Psimon smiled evilly as he said, "I know what you're all thinking, but you are outclassed."
Raven's eyes glowed white as she held her hands out and shot bolts of black lightning at all of them in a powerful attack. Immortus flew backwards while Psimon countered with a beam of his pink psionic energy before flying away. Madame Rouge and Elephant were both knocked down but got up when Raven was hit by rings of Psimon's psionic energy.
She glared at him before turning to the others as she said, "I'll take Psimon, you handle the others!"
She flew at Psimon and they started fighting while Immortus pointed and yelled, "Destroy them!"
All the robotic soldiers and tanks started moving when Hot Spot yelled, "Take em down!"
They were about to attack when Jinx floated in front of them with her hands out as she strictly said, "Guys wait! We can't just jump in headfirst! We need a strategy!"
They reluctantly agreed as Pantha asked, "What do you suggest?"
Jinx seriously looked at each of them as she explained, "Hot Spot, you and Bunker take out Immortus' air support. Pantha, Wildebeest, and I will handle their ground forces. Watch each other's backs and remember those moves we talked about. Now let's do this!"
They all yelled in fury as they attacked the army and followed Jinx's lead; Hot Spot and Bunker flew toward Immortus and the flying robots. Jinx, Pantha, and Wildebeest ran out onto the desert plane and immediately started fighting the robots and tanks while Raven floated and fought Psimon by herself. Hot Spot flew through the air like a robot before he spun through the air while shooting out streams of fire from his hands that destroyed several robot soldiers. Bunker surfed through the air on a platform of his psionic bricks as he threw his fist out and created a giant fist of his energy bricks and sent it flying out. It smashed a couple dozen flying robots before disappearing, then Bunker constructed a cannon over his left arm. He fired exploding energy bricks and destroyed several robot soldiers, while he was distracted Immortus used his control panel to activate two lasers on the front of his platform. He prepared to shoot at Bunker but his hovering platform was blasted by a fireball and he saw Hot Spot flying toward him.
Bunker saw this and yelled, "Hot Spot, brick bomb!"
He heard him and nodded as Bunker fired an exploding energy brick at Immortus, then Hot Spot threw a big fireball at it. The fireball hit the energy brick and caused a huge explosion, which Immortus narrowly dodged as it destroyed a bunch of his robot soldiers. Immortus rapidly fired laser blasts from his platform and Hot Spot and Bunker flew out of the way and avoided them. On the ground, Pantha jumped high in the air and body-slammed one of the tanks, blowing it up as she landed on it. She then smashed a few robot soldiers' heads with her fists before grabbing one and throwing it at another. She then jumped on the side of a tank used her claws to rip open a huge hole, then she pulled the robot driving it out and threw it away. Wildebeest charged through a crowd of robot soldiers and destroyed all of them before coming to a tank. He grunted in fury as he lifted the tank over his head and threw it at another tank, causing both to explode. One tank drove up behind Wildebeest and prepared to shoot him, but Wildebeest grabbed the tank's cannon and roared ferociously as he swung the tank like a giant bat. He carried the tank by its cannon and swung it, destroying two more tanks and several robot soldiers before he spun his body around and whirled the tank he was holding. Finally he threw it in the air and destroyed a few flying robots as the tank crashed into them and blew up. Wildebeest smiled until he was hit by a laser blast and roared in fury as he saw more tanks driving toward him.
Suddenly Pantha joined him and said, "Wildebeest, throw me!"
He grabbed Pantha and whirled her around before throwing her at the tanks as hard as he could, she shot through the air with her fists out. She crashed threw a few tanks and blew them up before landing and slashed a few robots with her claws while Wildebeest charged through the army at highspeed. Jinx lashed her arms as she threw a few hexes that made some robot soldiers explode on impact, then she turned to four tanks driving toward her. Her eyes glowed pink as Jinx held both hands out and shot a beam of her bad luck energy that hit one tank. The tank malfunctioned as the top of it spun around and fired its laser cannon, destroying the other tanks around it before it blew itself up. Jinx was suddenly surrounded by a bunch of robot soldiers as they aimed their weapons at her, but she stomped her foot and sent out a wave of her bad luck energy that destroyed them all. Jinx then threw her arms out and sent out a wide hex of her bad luck energy at the ground, which caused huge rock formations to rise out of the ground and knock over a few more tanks.
Suddenly Hot Spot crashed by her and she helped him up asking, "Hot Spot, are you okay?"
He got up and groaned as he said, "Yeah I'm fine."
They looked around and saw the robot soldiers in the air and on the ground, and the tanks and then Jinx smiled as she got an idea.
She smiled at Hot Spot as she said, "Hot Spot, firestorm."
He smiled as Raven floated in the air with her arms straight out to her sides while her eyes glowed pink as she spun around. She then created a tornado that started moving out and then Hot Spot shot a stream of fire at it, and fire filled the tornado. The fiery tornado went up to the sky as it moved across the battlefield and destroyed so many tanks and robots while Immortus, Raven, Bunker, and Psimon flew to avoid being burned. They watched the fiery tornado move before it broke up and vanished, Madame Rouge was vexed as she saw this.
She looked at Elephant Man and said, "These children are becoming greater nuisances. It is time we end this."
She and Elephant Man charged into the battlefield while Hot Spot took flight and started destroying robot soldiers with streams of fire.
Raven held her hands out with her eyes glowing white as she chanted, "Azarath Metrion Zinthos!"
She lifted several tanks in the air with her black magic and hurled them all at Psimon, but he held his hand out and created a portal that sucked them all up. He closed it and then opened another portal over Raven, and made all the tanks she threw at him come out as they fell toward her. She looked up in shock until Bunker flew next to her and held his hands up as he created a giant platform of his purple energy bricks. He grunted as he struggled to keep the platform up as the tanks fell and blew up against it, but he managed to maintain it. Suddenly he cried in pain as he was hit by a pink psionic beam from Psimon and sent him falling toward the earth as his platform disappeared under him. Raven watched with worry until Bunker opened his eyes and created a suit of armor over his whole body with eyeholes, then he flew through the air and started smashing robots with his fists. Raven then turned back to Psimon as she shot a blast of her black magic at him, but he managed to dodge it. Meanwhile Jinx threw her arms out with her eyes glowing pink as she created a small dust storm that buried some of the robots and tanks. Jinx smiled until she was grabbed by Elephant Man's trunk, which wrapped around her body and squeezed her like a snake. Jinx grunted in pain as she struggled but could not break free and could not concentrate her power to attack him. Suddenly Wildebeest rammed Elephant Man and knocked Elephant Man away and made him drop Jinx, who Wildebeest caught and gently set down.
She took some breaths and smiled as she said, "Thanks Wildebeest."
Wildebeest turned away from her and angrily ran toward Elephant Man, who stopped him and threw him at a tank. Wildebeest crashed into it and angrily got up before throwing the tank at Elephant Man, but he ducked and bent over before charging toward him with his tusks out. Up above, Bunker smashed a couple more robots with his fists before his armor vanished and a platform of his energy bricks appeared under him.
He looked down and saw Elephant Man charging toward Wildebeest as he held his hands out and yelled, "Wildebeest, mallet!"
He constructed a huge mallet of his energy bricks for Wildebeest, who smiled as he grabbed it and swung it like a bat. He hit Elephant Man in the face with it and knocked him on his back; Wildebeest smiled at Bunker as the mallet vanished and Bunker kept flying. Elephant Man got back up and crushed a few nearby robot soldiers before he ran at Wildebeest and swung his backfist at him. He knocked him down but Wildebeest got up and roared ferociously as he slammed his fists on the ground, causing a tremor that made Elephant Man lose balance. Wildebeest ran at him but stopped in front of him when Elephant Man emitted his sonic elephant trumpet, prompting Wildebeest to cover his ears. He kept covering them as he yelled in pain while Elephant Man kept emitting his super trumpet, but Wildebeest grew angrier as he stood up and grabbed Elephant Man's trunk. He held it tight and shut him up as Elephant Man stared in shock while Wildebeest kept holding his trunk while punching him in the face. He finally let go when his fist hit Elephant Man's face as he knocked him back, Elephant Man desperately tried to get up but his head fell back as he finally lost consciousness. Wildebeest smiled victoriously until he was shot from behind by a tank, prompting him to angrily run at it. Meanwhile Pantha held one robot over her and performed an airplane spin before throwing it at another robot.
She turned to some more and prepared to fight when Bunker floated over her and said, "Pantha, here!"
He created large gloves of his purple energy bricks over Pantha's hands, and she smiled at him and said, "Gracias!"
She ran at the robots and smashed each of them with one punch as the purple brick energy gloves proved effective on her. She destroyed all of them and the brick gloves vanished before Bunker flew away and then Pantha jumped on top of a tank. She smashed the top of it with both her fists and then ripped the top off and threw it at another tank, destroying it.
She was joined by Jinx, who smiled deviously as she said, "Pantha, let's give them the piledriver."
Pantha smiled deviously in agreement before she jumped as high as she could over a crowd of robots and tanks. She came falling down with her arms and legs out while Jinx threw her hand out and hit the ground underneath Pantha with a hex. When Pantha body-slammed the ground she caused a small earthquake and launched chunks of rock up in every direction in a fifty-foot radius, destroying the robots and tanks around her. Pantha climbed out of the hole her body made and kept fighting robot soldiers while Jinx hexed a few with her bad luck magic and destroyed them. Some robot soldiers flew over Jinx and Pantha and opened their chests as they dropped bombs over them. Bunker flew by on his platform and created a giant platform of his energy bricks that blocked the bombs as they exploded against it. He then created a giant club out of his energy bricks and swung it through the air, destroying several flying robots before he flew away. Several robot soldiers flew over the battlefield and fired lasers at Jinx, but she held her hands out and created a force-field of her bad luck energy around herself. Her force-field deflected the lasers back at the robots and destroyed them before she dropped it with a smile on her face. Suddenly Madame Rouge's hands stretched over and grabbed Jinx in her hands and pulled her over to her.
Madame Rouge smiled evilly as she said, "It's time I finish you!"
The then stretched her body around Jinx and absorbed her as Madame Rouge looked fat, but suddenly she exploded into red fluid as Jinx's eyes glowed pink. Madame Rouge regenerated and glared at Jinx as she prepared to fight her as she morphed her left hand into a long blade and attacked. Meanwhile Raven floated in the air as she shot a beam of her dark magic at Psimon, but he dodged it and telekinetically lifted a tank in the air. He hurled it at Raven but she encased it in her black energy before disassembling it and tossing the pieces aside. However, that attack was a distraction as Psimon fired a pink psionic beam at Raven and made her cry in pain as he knocked her back.
She recovered and glared at him as he arrogantly gloated, "Your power is incredible but my mind is far superior! You may be immune to my mind control but I can still read your thoughts and anticipate your actions! Tell me, how do you truly feel about Beast Boy?"
Raven glared at him and held her hands out as she chanted, "Azarath Metrion Zinthos!"
She then created a giant raven out of her black magic around herself and made it shriek as it attacked Psimon, who stared in shock as it grabbed him in its foot. Meanwhile, Jinx fought Madame Rouge as she dodged her blade arm and kicked her in the face, but Madame Rouge barely budged. She morphed her other hand into a mace and prepared to swing it at Jinx when she was hit by a fireball and blasted back. She got up and watched as Hot Spot flew down and landed beside Jinx; Madame Rouge was ready to attack when a block of purple energy bricks came flying and hit her. It knocked her down and she saw Bunker fly down and join Jinx and Hot Spot, then before Madame Rouge could do anything else Wildebeest came behind her and gave her a bear hug.
Pantha then jumped in front of her and reached for her face while yelling, "Fell the burn of the Pantha's claw!"
She pressed her hand against Madame Rouge's face and left a red hand print that made her cry in pain before Wildebeest threw her away. She got back up but Jinx swiped her left arm downward and sent a hex at the ground, causing it to split underneath Madame Rouge and form a small fissure that trapped her. Madame Rouge was somewhat distressed as she glanced around and noticed all their robots and tanks had been destroyed, then Psimon fell down in front of her and lost consciousness.
Raven floated in front of the Titans South as they all stared at her and Jinx triumphantly said, "Looks like this is our lucky day."
Madame Rouge smiled slyly as she said, "Valiant effort, but you still lose."
Hot Spot smiled as he said, "Really? Because the way I see it we kicked your butts."
Madame Rouge kept smiling as she sadistically as she said, "You've saved your precious Tower, but you can't stop us from destroying Sunspot city!"
Jinx became concerned as she suspiciously asked, "What are you talking about?"
Suddenly they heard an explosion and Raven flew high in the air and spotted another army of robots and tanks on the other side of the city.
She returned to the Titans South and said, "There's another army about to invade the city!"
Jinx was shocked but narrowed her eyes as she hastily said, "Bunker, get us over there!"
He obeyed as he created a platform of his energy bricks that carried himself and the others with Raven flying next to them as they moved over the city. Madame Rouge smiled as she watched them while she was joined by Elephant Man and General Immortus. Raven and the Titans South stopped as they hovered a few hundred feet in the air and looked down at the robots and tanks heading toward the city. There were more than twice the amount of robots and tanks that they just fought and they all looked scared as they would reach the outskirts of the city within minutes.
Pantha was distressed as she said, "I'm not sure we can defeat that many!"
Jinx narrowed her eyes as she held her arms out and said, "Stand back!"
They all watched her as her eyes glowed pink as she focused all her power and raised her arms over her head and created a huge orb of her pink bad luck magic. She yelled in fury as she threw the orb down toward the middle of the army before falling down from exhaustion on Bunker's platform. Everyone watched as her orb hit the center of the army and demonstrated the true magnitude of Jinx's power. First the orb caused an explosion big enough to take out a city block, and from the explosion came a ripple of Jinx's bad luck magic that hit everything in a five mile radius. The ripple of bad luck magic destroyed all the robots and tanks as it launched some in the air, blew some up, made some shut down, and made some fall apart.
The entire robot army was beaten in one fell swoop and the others were amazed as Raven said, "Whoa."
Jinx regained her strength as she stood up and Bunker said, "You really are powerful."
Jinx smiled proudly as she said, "I told you."
They returned to the Tower but found that Madame Rouge, Immortus, and Elephant Man had left, but Psimon remained unconscious on the ground.
Hot Spot was vexed as he said, "They got away!"
Jinx was disappointed but said, "At least we stopped them, and we caught Psimon."
Raven agreed as she said, "Jinx is right. That's all that matters."
Later they brought Psimon to prison and then gathered in front of the Tower as they happily talked about their victory.
The others smiled at Jinx as Bunker said, "You were right. Your strategy worked!"
Hot Spot agreed as he happily said, "Yeah, you were amazing out there."
Wildebeest was in his human form as he smiled up at her and said, "Jinx."
Jinx showed a flattered smile as she said, "Thanks guys, you were all great too."
Pantha smiled at Jinx with respect as she said, "I was wrong about you. You are truly a worthy leader."
Jinx smiled at Pantha and pointed at her as she said, "Thanks Pantha, and as leader I've decided to name you my second in command."
Pantha smiled and nodded at her as she said, "I am honored."
Raven joined them as she pulled her hood down and said, "I'd say your teamwork has improved a lot."
They all smiled at her as Jinx said, "Thanks for the help Raven. We couldn't have done it without you."
Raven smiled with respect as she said, "Don't sell yourselves short. You all proved your worth and showed great skill and power. I'd say Sunspot city is in good hands."
Bunker showed a bit of disappointment as he said, "So I guess you'll be leaving now?"
Raven smiled as she honestly said, "Yeah, my friends back home need me. The bad guys are still out there planning something. You guys will be fine by yourselves, and if you're in trouble you know who to call."
Jinx smiled as she proudly proclaimed, "And if you need us, we'll be there."
Raven nodded at them before she turned and flew away while the others watched her with smiles on their faces.
Jinx smiled as she turned back to her teammates and said, "How about we celebrate with churros?"
They all immediately cheered in agreement; sometime later Madame Rouge, Immortus, and Elephant Man returned to their lair where Slade, Mallah, and the Brain were awaiting them.
The Brain knew what had happened as he said, "So your attack failed."
Immortus showed a vexed expression with his hands behind his back as he said, "It seems that we underestimated the Titans South."
Madame Rouge brushed it off as she said, "No matter, we will destroy them once we deal with the others. Thanks to Psimon we have learned enough about Raven for us to finally destroy her and the others."
Slade was pleased as he spoke diabolically and said, "Then it is time to prepare for the ending."

Author's note: That's the end for this chapter. To be clear, Kid Flash is not part of the Titans South, but he and Jinx are still a couple. With his speed he can visit them whenever he wants. I read about Bunker online and decided he'd be a good fifth member for the Titans South, and I made up some new tricks for him to do, like the cannon thing. Wildebeest is the strongest of the team but Jinx is still the most powerful. I meant for this to show how powerful Jinx truly is; Raven is the most powerful of all the Titans but Jinx is maybe somewhere in the top ten. I also felt Jinx would be the best choice to lead the Titans South, and now she's on a new team that's WAY better than her old one. Wildebeest vs Elephant Man made me think of Pokemon; also Wildebeest is stronger than Elephant Man but Elephant Man is strong enough to put up a great fight. Pantha is maybe as strong as Cyborg while Wildebeest is maybe close to as strong as Starfire. I made a reference to that old cheap Incredible Hulk movie. Please review.
