Spoiler: This chapter is supposed to be a Valentine's Day special and I will have some good shipping in this chapter. Enjoy.
Date Night
It was a bright and sunny morning at Titans Tower as Beast Boy woke up on the top bunk of his bed and let out a loud yawn as he stretched his arms. It had been a few days since Raven helped the Titans South and she returned a couple of days ago, while Miss Martian, Blue Beetle, Gnarrk, and Aqualad turned to their respective teams. Robin and Starfire had just returned yesterday and Beast Boy was eagerly awaiting Cyborg to return from Steel city. He hopped off the bunk and scratched himself tiredly before he heard Cyborg's voice talking in another room. Beast Boy smiled as he turned to his bedroom door and thought about Cyborg and how thrilled he was to have him back.
Then he looked out the window as a dream cloud appeared over his head while he said to himself, "Cyborg's back! Yes! Finally! After weeks of helping out all the other Titans and recruiting new ones, we're finally all back home! We've got weeks of best friend fun to do! Videogames, movies, cards, and breakfast explosions!"
He then happily ran out of his room and hurried to the main room where he found Robin and Starfire talking to each other lovingly.
He turned to his right and saw Cyborg cooking breakfast as he happily said, "Cyborg! Dude! Good to have you back!"
He walked up to Cyborg, who happily high-fived him as he said, "Hey little man! Good to be back! Give me some love!"
Beast Boy smiled at him but was startled when Bumblebee hovered next to him and happily said, "Hey BB, good to see you."
Beast Boy was somewhat baffled as he said, "Bumblebee? What are you doing here?"
Bumblebee smiled as she landed and walked over to Cyborg and took his arm as she said, "Well since Aqualad was going back to Steel city I decided to come over and spend some time with sparky."
Cyborg blushed with a big smile on his face, prompting Beast Boy frown a bit in disappointment as he said, "Oh, that's cool."
Cyborg smiled as he served some pancakes and happily said, "Oh yeah! Eat up y'all!"
Raven walked in and ate breakfast with the others before grabbing a book and heading back to her room.
When the others finished Beast Boy smiled hugely as he eagerly said, "That hits the spot! Thanks Cyborg! Who's up for a videogame?!"
The others looked at each other with slightly anxious expressions as Robin asked, "Uh… Beast Boy, do you know what today is?"
Beast Boy was confused as he said, "Thursday?"
Robin spoke respectfully as he said, "No. Well yes, but no. It's Valentine's Day."
Beast Boy glanced up in thought as he shrugged his shoulders and looked a bit sad as he said, "Huh, it is? Didn't know that. For me Valentine's Day is just like any other day."
Bumblebee sympathized as she placed her hand on his shoulder and said, "Yeah, it's not so special when you don't have someone to spend it with."
Cyborg spoke politely as he regretfully said, "Yeah and we all kind of made plans today."
Beast Boy was shocked as he said, "What?"
Bumblebee smiled as she honestly said, "Yeah, that's why I'm here today."
Starfire happily hugged Robin as she said, "We are celebrating our joyous love for each other on this Day of Valentines."
Beast Boy expressed disappointment as he said, "But we're finally all together!"
Cyborg sympathized as he apologized, "Sorry buddy. Valentine's Day only comes once a year and we made plans for the whole day together."
Beast Boy frowned in depression, prompting Robin to solemnly say, "It's just for today Beast Boy, tomorrow we'll all hangout together and have tons of fun."
Beast Boy still expressed depression as he said, "So while you guys go out and get all romantic together, I'm stuck all by myself."
Bumblebee smiled kindly as she pointed her thumb to the side and said, "Hey, you still got Raven."
Beast Boy sulked as his face hit the table as he groaned in despair, then Cyborg said, "Sorry BB. We'll see you later."
The two couples then left the room together while Beast Boy watched them with a sad expression as he waved "goodbye" to them.
Japanese opening theme song
Beast Boy was sitting on the couch with a bored expression as he held the TV remote and flipped through the channels.
He kept flipping as he boredly said, "Dude, there is nothing on today!"
He saw several commercials, reruns he had already seen, shows he did not care for, and news reports covering boring subjects.
He watched the news report for a few seconds as the anchorman said, "Jump City is in a romantic flurry on this Valentine's Day."
Beast Boy started flipping through channels again as he whined, "There aren't even any butts to kick today."
He stopped and came to a soap opera that showed a couple kissing passionately and he thought about Valentine's Day.
He let out a soft sad sigh as he said, "Must be nice to have someone special."
He turned off the TV and looked down as he felt lonely, but then remembered Bumblebee suggesting he do something with Raven. He thought it over for a moment and figured the worst she would probably do would be saying "no", which he expected.
He then got up and said to himself, "What the heck?"
He went up to Raven's bedroom door and briefly stared at it with a nervous expression before he took a deep breath and knocked. Raven opened the door a cracked and almost glared at Beast Boy through one eye with her hood up as he stood in front of her.
Beast Boy smiled nervously as he said, "Hi."
She looked dead serious as she got to the point and asked, "What?"
Beast Boy smiled a bit awkwardly as he stuttered, "I was uh… wondering if you'd like to go out… with me."
Raven was surprised as she stepped out of her room and closed the door behind her as she cynically said, "You're asking me out?"
Beast Boy shrugged as he honestly said, "It's Valentine's Day and everyone else has a date, except you and me."
Raven folded her arms as she inquired, "So you decided to ask me out?"
Beast Boy glanced around as he honestly said, "Sort of. Bumblebee gave me the idea. I didn't think so at first but there's no one else to hang out with."
Raven was somewhat offended as she said, "So you asked me out on a date only because you didn't have anything better to do?"
Beast Boy raised his hands and sincerely said, "Hey, I'm not saying I don't like you, I just don't know what else to do. It'd be nice to have someone to spend my time with, I never get to do anything special on Valentine's Day."
Raven could relate as she looked to the side and said, "I know what you mean."
Beast Boy expected her to turn him down as he turned away and said, "It's cool if you don't want to go. I get it. I can probably find some bad guys to fight or something."
He started walking away with a frown on his face as he truly didn't know what else to do and Raven could sense his boredom and loneliness.
She hung her arms at her side and sympathized as she reluctantly said, "Okay."
Beast Boy stopped and his eyes widened in shock as he turned to her and said, "Say again?"
Raven sighed as she respectfully said, "I'll go out with you."
Beast Boy's face lit up in joy as he exclaimed, "Sweet! I know just what to do!"
Raven let out a cry of distress as he immediately ran by, grabbed her hand, and dragged her away as he ran out of the Tower.
As he dragged her, Raven showed an exhausted expression as she commented, "This is going to be a long day."
Meanwhile in the city
Robin was taking Starfire for a ride on his motorcycle as she wrapped her arms around his waist with a big loving smile.
She kept holding onto his waist as she happily said, "On my planet, an outing such as this would be considered very romantic."
As he drove Robin stared forward with a big smile as he happily said, "It's the same here on Earth Starfire. Our first Valentine's Day together will be our best."
Robin took a scenic route as he took Starfire threw her favorite parts of the city and passed the most beautiful parts of it. They drove by the waterfront before passing their favorite pizza place, then they drove up a nearby mountain where they had a view of the entire city. They could also see the island with Titan's Tower on it in the distance as the sunlight reflected off the ocean and made it shine bright.
Starfire smiled happily as she tenderly hugged Robin from behind and said, "I am most fortunate to have such a wonderful home with a most incredible boyfriend."
Robin smiled at Starfire over his shoulder as he happily said, "Thanks Starfire, I have to admit that I'm pretty lucky to have you too."
Starfire smiled lovingly as she shut her eyes and rested her head on his shoulder while he smiled and kept driving his motorcycle. Unbeknownst to them, they were being watched by two people standing higher up on the mountain. It was Kitten and her boyfriend Fang as they watched Robin and Starfire drive down the road together.
Kitten stared at them with hatred as she said, "Look at those two! Look at Robin and his little alien girlfriend! She thinks she's got it made!"
Fang grabbed his shoulders to comfort her as he said, "Don't get mad baby. She may be pretty but she's got nothing on you."
Kitten smiled lovingly as she rested her head against his head and said, "Oh Fangy-poo, you always know what to say."
They then kissed as Fang affectionately said, "I'd do anything to make you happy Kitten. You're the only for me."
Kitten smiled happily at him before looking back toward Robin and Starfire as she said, "You are the sweetest Fang! We're so much better together than those two!"
Fang put his arms around her and held her close as he glared at Robin and Starfire as he deviously said, "You're so right baby! How about we show them what a REAL couple looks like! I say we ruin their Valentine's Day and make it their last!"
Kitten looked back at them with an evil grin as she deviously said, "Great idea Fangy, and I know just how to do it, thanks to daddy!"
She pulled out her orange plasma whip and lashed it out, hitting the front wheel of Robin's R-Cycle, damaging it. The tire popped and the wheel started turning toward the edge of the road and the railing on the side while Robin and Starfire became worried. Robin shouted in distress as he lost control and drove toward the railing of the road and crashed into it, knocking both him and Starfire off as they screamed in shock. Starfire recovered in midair as she floated but gasped in fear as she saw Robin and his motorcycle still falling. Starfire quickly flew and caught Robin in her arms and held him while his motorcycle fell down the mountainside and then exploded.
They watched the explosion before facing each other as Starfire concernedly asked, "Robin, you are alright?"
Robin smiled at her as he happily said, "Yeah, thanks to you."
She showed a flattered smile as she blushed and then floated back onto the road and set him down on his feet. Robin looked up the mountainside with a suspicious expression as he searched for clues but saw nothing and no one.
Starfire then curiously asked, "Please Robin, why did your cycle of motors suddenly fall over the mountain?"
Robin kept staring up the mountain as he suspiciously said, "I don't know, but I have a feeling it was no accident."
Starfire curiously looked up in the direction he was looking but saw nothing as she said, "Perhaps you are right, but I see no indication of danger present."
Robin kept looking up as he suspiciously said, "Maybe so, but let's not let our guard down. There's no way this was just a coincidence."
Starfire then smiled as she put her hands together and optimistically said, "Well, let us not let this misfortune spoil our joyous day together. We shall move on to our next destination for our romantic meal together."
Robin smiled as he agreed and happily said, "Alright Starfire. Let's go. I'm all yours."
He happily took both of her hands and she giggled happily as she flew down toward the city while Robin held onto her hands. As they flew away Kitten and Fang came out of hiding and watched them with vexed expressions on their faces.
Kitten had sharp teeth as she furiously yelled, "That little alien floozy! She just caught him looking like an angel from heaven!"
Fang had a devious expression as he said, "Don't worry Kitten. It's still early. We'll spoil their fun. I've got an idea to ruin their lunch date."
Kitten smiled at him happily as he scooped him up in his arms and carried her bridal style as he lifted his body off the ground and crawled down the mountain with his spider legs. They followed Robin and Starfire as they flew over the city while Fang started climbing up the sides of buildings and moving across the rooftops with Kitten.
Meanwhile at the beach
Cyborg and Bumblebee were having a picnic on the sandy shore of the city as they sat together on a cloth. Bumblebee smiled as she enjoyed a glass of lemonade while Cyborg happily ate a burger while they watched some kids play.
Bumblebee smiled happily at Cyborg as she happily said, "This was a great idea Sparky. You picked the perfect place."
Cyborg held his burger in his hand as he smiled charmingly at her and said, "Thanks Bee. I had a feeling you'd like it here. It's just you and me, and nothing can ruin it."
They were both unaware that on the beach far behind them was H8-Bit, who spied on them with anger and hatred.
He kept staring at them as he said, "Don't be so sure Sparky."
He was standing at a hotdog stand as he stared at them on the beach as he leaned over with his upper body sticking out from behind it. He had his hand on the corner of the hotdog stand as he kept staring at Cyborg and Bumblebee and looked at how happy they were. He then watched as some kids passed by and happily praised Cyborg and Bumblebee as they called them heroes.
H8-Bit kept staring at them as he hatefully said, "Your life is just SO perfect Cyborg! You have great friends, fans, and a cool girlfriend! Well you're about to lose everything!"
His legs then transformed into a tail of his blue pixelated energy as he flew high in the sky without being seen. He flew over the water and dived down as he turned completely into pixelated energy and became a submarine. He dived down to the seabed where Atlas was standing as he looked up at H8-Bit, waiting for his orders.
H8-Bit remained in his submarine shape as he said, "Do it!"
Atlas smiled evilly as he jumped off the seabed and moved through the water as his "toes" turned sideways and he spun his lower body at high speed while his upper body stayed in place. He spun his legs and used them like a propeller, moving through the water at highspeed as he swam to the shore while H8-Bit watched. Cyborg and Bumblebee were sitting on their picnic blanket as they smiled at each other lovingly and leaned closer to each other. They stopped when they suddenly heard people screaming and noticed people running away from the water in fear. They looked at the water and watched Atlas rise out of it as he walked onto the shore with a serious expression.
Cyborg and Bumblebee got up as Cyborg angrily said, "Atlas?! What are you doing here?!"
Atlas smiled at them evilly as he said, "I come looking for a challenge. I have been training and I am ready to defeat you."
Bumblebee drew her stingers as she pointed them at Atlas with them glowing yellow as she said, "You want him you gotta get through me!"
Atlas smiled arrogantly as he said, "Humans are weak! I will destroy you both!"
He held his right arm out and retracted his hand before firing a red laser blast at them, but Cyborg and Bumblebee separated and dodged it. Atlas turned his attention to Cyborg as he jumped toward him with his arms out and tried to grab him, but Cyborg fired the energy cannon in his chest. He shot a blue ray of energy that hit Atlas and knocked him on his back as he crashed on the beach and looked at Cyborg.
Cyborg glared at Atlas as he bravely said, "I've upgraded since the last time we fought!"
Atlas smiled arrogantly as he said, "Good, that will make my victory even greater."
Cyborg leaned over and ignited his Jump Jets as he launched himself at Atlas and prepared to punch him hard. Atlas held his fists straight out to his sides before spinning his upper body at highspeed while his heads and legs stayed in place. When Cyborg came flying at him Atlas hit him with one of his fists and knocked him away before his upper body stopped spinning. Cyborg crashed down before he got up and fired his right sonic cannon at Atlas, but he jumped in the air and dodged the blue sonic blast. He went high in the air and bent his legs down with his knees sticking out to the sides as he spun his lower body like a drill. He came falling toward Cyborg, who jumped out of the way just before Atlas crashed down and sunk in the sand. He climbed out of the sand and Cyborg ran at him and punched him in the chest and face repeatedly as he forced him backwards. Cyborg tried to punch him again but Atlas grabbed his fist and held him as he slammed him around like a ragdoll. He then threw Cyborg away and sent him flying toward some weights and exercise machines on the beach. Cyborg got up and glared at Atlas who held his fists straight out as he spun his arms vertically like wheels at the shoulders. His arms kept spinning as he started running toward Cyborg and his fists smashed everything they hit.
Cyborg showed now fear as he bent over and exclaimed, "You may roll with the punches but let's see if you get a kick out of this!"
Cyborg then used his Jump Jets to launch himself at Atlas and he maneuvered through the air and then held his right leg out to kick Atlas. He flew between Atlas' spinning arms, toward his chest, and activated the sonic blaster in his foot just when he was about hit him. This resulted in a powerful sonic blast that sent Atlas flying back as he cried in pain and splashed down in the water.
Cyborg smiled proudly as he said, "At least I know how to find my feet."
Atlas walked back onto the shore with an angry expression as he ran and jumped toward Cyborg with his fists over his head. Cyborg jumped back and dodged him just as Atlas came down and slammed his fists into the ground, causing a small earthquake. Cyborg stepped back with his hands out as he stared at Atlas cautiously, while Atlas noticed a lifeguard truck and smiled deviously. He grabbed the lifeguard truck and threw it at Cyborg, who screamed in distress as the vehicle crashed into him, blew up, and sent him flying through the air. Cyborg crashed in the sand and grunted as he activated his energy whips and lashed them both at Atlas, making him cry in pain as they shocked him. Cyborg then lassoed his arms with his energy whips but Atlas grabbed them and then spun his head and upper body around at highspeed as he whirled Cyborg around. Cyborg screamed in distress as Atlas whirled him around by his energy whips before throwing him away and sending him crashing into a snow cone cart.
Cyborg held his head in pain before looking up to see Atlas standing over him as he arrogantly gloated, "At last! Atlas is victorious!"
He prepared to finish Cyborg as he raised both his fists over his head and got ready to smash him, but he was hit by a blast of yellow electricity. He was knocked back and saw Bumblebee hovering over him as she held her stingers and shot them at him. She shot yellow beams of energy at him and he looked annoyed as he retracted his left hand and fired a red laser blast at her. She dodged it and flew at him and shot her stingers at his face, making him stumble backwards before he regained his footing.
She hovered in front of Cyborg while glaring at Atlas as she bravely said, "I told you, you mess with him you mess with me!"
Atlas smiled arrogantly as he insulted, "No human defeats Atlas, especially not a female!"
Cyborg immediately showed fear as he nervously said, "Oh boy!"
Bumblebee glared at him in anger as she said, "Well this girl is about to!"
She flew at him and shot her stingers at him before he swung his arms at her, but she dodged them and rapidly kicked him in the face with both feet four times. She made his head spin around before he grabbed it and stopped it before he glared at her and grabbed her in his hands.
He held her tight as he stared Bumblebee in the face and said, "You're fast, but your strength is feeble compared to mine! Atlas always wins!"
Bumblebee smiled slyly as she said, "Well you've never fought me!"
She then shrunk to her smaller size and escaped Atlas' grip as he looked around baffled and said, "What? Where did she go?!"
He searched for Bumblebee but could not find her anywhere until she flew at his face and fired her stingers at him. The blast from her stingers knocked Atlas down, but he got back up and tried to swat Bumblebee like a fly, but she was too small and fast for him to hit. She flew around him as she fired her stingers at the different parts of his body and damaged him and angered him as he grunted in fury. He then slammed both his fists down on the beach and sent a bunch of sand in the air, which buried Bumblebee before she poked her tiny head out of the sand. She looked up and saw Atlas towering over her as he smiled evilly and raised his left leg, preparing to stomp on her.
He smiled arrogantly as he gloated, "I will crush you like a bug!"
She quickly avoided his foot when he stomped and then she grew to her regular size and used her hands to launch herself up at him. She kicked him in the face and made him stumble backwards before holding out her stingers and firing them at the same time. Together they created one big powerful blast of yellow energy that hit Atlas and sent him flying backwards before he crashed in the sand. Yellow sparks of electricity surged from his body as he was unable to move as he looked down at himself in distress.
He was frightened as he said, "I can't move!"
Bumblebee came and stood on his chest with her hands on her hips as she victoriously said, "I overloaded your power cells and made you blow a fuse."
Atlas frowned in despair as he admitted, "You have defeated me."
Bumblebee smiled proudly as she said, "Don't act so surprised. I've beaten way tougher bad guys than you."
Cyborg smiled as he joined them and looked down at Atlas with a smile as he said, "Trust me heavyweight, you don't want to mess with Bee."
Bumblebee smiled affectionately as she took Cyborg's arm and said, "Yeah, you know all about that, don't you Sparky?"
Cyborg blushed sheepishly as he rubbed the back of his head while all the people on the beach happily cheered for them. In the water, H8-Bit still had the shape of a submarine with his periscope above the surface as he watched Cyborg and Bumblebee. He then turned into pixelated energy and flew above the surface as he changed to his normal form with a tail of pixelated energy.
He showed a vexed expression as he stared at them and complained, "Nice job Atlas! I guess if I want to ruin Cyborg's day I'll have to do it myself!"
Commercial break
Raven and Beast Boy were sitting in a movie theater together with a bunch of other people around them as she had her arms folded. Beast Boy had dragged her to a romantic comedy as he and several other people laughed at the jokes and then Beast Boy took a sip of his drink. Raven did not mind the movie, it did not make her laugh but she was not bored as she watched it patiently. She glanced around and noticed several couples around them sitting together, holding hands with loving smiles. Part of her wished she could have that but she brushed it off before turning her attention back to the movie while Beast Boy glanced at her.
He leaned toward her and smiled as he raised his hand next to his mouth and whispered, "Isn't this great?"
Raven kept looking at the screen as she shrugged and admitted, "It's okay."
Beast Boy realized that was the best he was going to get out of her as he turned his attention back to the movie. He started eating popcorn out of the bucket, which was on the arm of the chair between him and Raven, who also started eating a couple handfuls. They both reached for the popcorn again without looking and their hands ended up touching each other. Their eyes widened as they looked down at their hands before looking at each other awkwardly, then they both pulled their hands back and looked away while blushing.
Meanwhile at a restaurant
Robin and Starfire were sitting together at an outdoor table as they happily enjoyed a romantic lunch together while the customers around them watched them happily.
An old couple watched them as the woman smiled and fondly said, "Young love, it's so sweet."
Her husband smiled at her as he said, "They remind me of you and I when we first met."
She smiled at him lovingly before they both looked back at Robin and Starfire as they both happily ate sandwiches together. Kitten and Fang were standing on the roof of the restaurant as they watched Robin and Starfire, while Kitten glared daggers.
She looked at Fang and impatiently asked, "Okay Fang, what's your plan?"
He spoke deviously as he said, "Watch this."
He turned to a car driving on the street in front of the restaurant and spit a huge glob of his grey spider web.
The glob of green goo covered the car's windshield and the driver panicked as he said, "Ahh! I can't see! I can't see!"
He started steering his car out of control as he ended up speeding toward the restaurant's patio at highspeed.
Robin heard the tires screeching and saw the car approaching as he stood up and urgently yelled, "Everyone look out!"
Everyone saw the car coming and screamed as Robin and Starfire immediately got out of their seats and went to work. The car crashed through the fence and Robin quickly got a few people out of the way while Starfire swiftly flew and landed in the car's path. She held her ground as she threw her hands out and slammed them on the front of the car and stopped it in its tracks as the tires flattened and the wheels stopped. Robin joined Starfire as she ripped the door off the car while Robin helped the man out onto his feet with care.
He showed concern as he asked, "Are you okay?"
The man got up and panted before smiling gratefully as he apologized, "Yeah, I'm okay. Thanks. Sorry about that."
All the other customers happily applauded and cheered for Robin and Starfire who waved at them with flattered smiles. Robin then scooped a bit of the grey goo on the car's windshield on his fingers and stared at the goo suspiciously. He then looked glanced around the rooftops suspiciously but saw nothing as Kitten and Fang had already hidden.
Fang expressed frustration as he said, "Man! I thought for sure that would work!"
Kitten then angrily pulled out her cellphone and hastily started dialing as she said, "That's it! I'm calling daddy!"
Kitten and Fang spent the rest of the day trying to ruin Robin and Starfire's Valentine's Day while H8-Bit kept trying to ruin Cyborg and Bumblebee's.
Bumblebee and Cyborg went to a baseball game when she smiled at him and said, "You having fun Sparky?"
Cyborg smiled at her as he looked down at the field and happily exclaimed, "Oh yeah! This is great! Maybe we can catch a fowl ball!"
A batter hit a homerun and Cyborg raised his fists as he happily cheered while Bumblebee smiled with an amused expression. H8-Bit appeared on the jumbotron when they weren't looking and hatefully stared at where Cyborg and Bumblebee were sitting.
He smiled deviously as he softly said, "Maybe you'll catch something else instead."
He shot bolts of blue pixelated lightning from the screen that hit some of the seats and blew things up, scaring people. Bumblebee flew to their aid while Cyborg ran and carried some people to safety as fires started and then they put out the fires. The batter was distracted by them as he hit the ball and sent it toward them as it came flying toward Cyborg's head.
It almost hit him when Bumblebee flew over him and caught the ball in her hand, she smiled and said, "Hey, fowl ball."
Cyborg smiled at her as he said, "Nice catch."
She smiled proudly while H8-Bit was enraged as he zapped himself out of the jumbotron and flew away with a tail of pixelated energy. Raven and Beast Boy's day, however, went smoothly as no bad guys tried to ruin things for them and they had a good time together. They did various activities that each of them picked with consideration for the other's feelings and interests. After the movie Beast Boy let Raven decide what to do, so she brought him to her favorite café, which was dark and moody with goths everywhere. They sat down as Beast Boy looked around uncomfortably as the place felt creepy to him and some teens would read dark poetry.
Raven ordered two cups of tea and gave one to Beast Boy as she said, "Here, have some tea."
Beast Boy politely accepted it as he said, "Uh… Thanks."
Beast Boy took a sip of the tea and swallowed it, he did not love it but didn't think it was bad as he smiled at her politely. Raven could tell he was mostly trying to be nice but cracked a small smile as she was still enjoying herself. Starfire later took Robin for a flight over the city as she carried him in her arms and he smiled as he felt the wind in his face.
Kitten and Fang were watching them on a rooftop nearby as Kitten pulled out her phone and said, "Daddy, do it!"
Right on cue, a small swarm of mutant moths took flight and attacked Robin and Starfire while they were still flying.
Killer Moth hovered in front of his swarm as he spoke evilly and sarcastically said, "Hello Titans, I hope I'm not interrupting something."
Robin glared at the mutant moths as he said, "Killer Moth!"
Killer Moth pointed at Robin and Starfire as he yelled, "Attack!"
They immediately started fighting as Starfire dropped Robin on a rooftop and flew at the swarm while Robin pulled out some gadgets. He threw explosive discs that took out several mutant moths while Starfire blasted a few with rays of her starbolt energy. She quickly turned around as she floated in the air and used her eyebeams to take out several more moths circling her. Several more mutant moths rammed Starfire with their bodies and tried to bite her but she kept them at bay. She punched and kicked them away with her superstrength while a few mutant moths flew at Robin, but he swung his bo staff at them and knocked them away. Starfire was swarmed by over a dozen mutant moths as they piled up on top of her, but she released a shockwave of starbolt energy from her and blasted them away. Robin threw a disc out that shocked several mutant moths with electricity as they spasmed in the air before falling down.
Robin smiled triumphantly as he said, "No better way to get rid of moths than with a bug zapper."
Suddenly several mutant moths attacked him and piled up on top of him while he desperately held them back to keep them from biting him. Starfire held her hands out and shot a ray of her starbolt energy that blasted all of the moths off of Robin, then she flew to help him up. Then Starfire made a big starbolt with her hands and the mutant moths were attracted to the light as they flew at her.
Killer Moth held his hand out as he desperately yelled, "No!"
Starfire threw her big starbolt at them and took them out before she rejoined Robin as they smiled at each other happily. Killer Moth yelled in rage as he flew at them and punched Starfire before slashing his claws at Robin, who narrowly dodged them. He then kicked Killer Moth in the face and knocked him back and then they engaged in hand-to-hand combat while Starfire recovered. She watched as Killer Moth pinned Robin down on the rooftop and stared him in the face as he snarled viciously. Starfire immediately hit Killer Moth with her eyebeams and blasted him off of Robin as he cried in pain and was knocked out. Starfire the helped Robin up and then they handed Killer Moth over to the police, who muzzled and handcuffed him. They loaded him into the back of a prisoner transport truck and then drove away with him while Robin and Starfire watched.
Starfire smiled happily at Robin as she said, "Now that the Killer Moth has been defeated we have nothing to fear."
Robin looked over his shoulder with a suspicious expression as he said, "I'm not sure."
Kitten and Fang watched as they left and then Kitten angrily watched the police drive away with her father in the transport. Kitten gritted her teeth and clinched her fists in rage while Fang put his arm around her for comfort, but her rage did not subside. Cyborg and Bumblebee went to a dance party with bright lights and a mirror ball reflecting lights everywhere. Cyborg and Bumblebee happily danced to the music with all the other people while H8-Bit zapped himself in through a wall socket. He stayed in a corner of the room, hidden in the shadows as he looked at everyone dancing and glanced at the speakers around the room. He smiled deviously as he shot bolts of his pixelated energy at the speakers and took control of them as he made the music stop. He then made the speakers emit ultrasonic noises that hurt Cyborg, Bumblebee, and everyone else as they covered their ears and screamed in pain. H8-Bit made a small force-field of his pixelated energy around himself to block out the noise as he watched. Bumblebee then willed herself to do something as she grabbed her stingers and blasted the speakers, destroying them. Everyone was relieved while H8-Bit angrily escaped as he teleported out in a bolt of his blue pixelated energy.
Cyborg looked at the destroyed speakers as he said, "Guess the party's over."
Beast Boy brought Raven to a malt shop where they shared one big malt as they sat at the bar and drank from the same cup through straws. Raven enjoyed it and so did Beast Boy as they stared at the malt before glancing at each other in curiosity. Unbeknownst to them, Terra was outside as she looked through the window and saw them sharing the malt. She smiled, happy for them, before she walked away before either of them could notice her while she joined a boy she liked. Robin and Starfire went to a botanical garden as they held hands while walking and happily looked around at the flowers and plants. Kitten and Fang were hiding behind a tree near them when Fang spit a small glob of his grey goo at Robin's shoe. Robin stepped on it and couldn't move as his foot was stuck to the ground while Starfire stared in confusion. Fang then used his spider legs to knock over the tree and sent it falling toward Robin as he screamed in distress. Starfire quickly got in front of him and caught the tree before it could crush him, then she floated up and put the tree back in the ground. Kitten and Fang were already gone as they both showed frustration while Robin finally managed to get his foot off the ground.
He looked at the glob of goo on the bottom of his shoe as he suspiciously hummed, "Hmmm…"
Cyborg and Bumblebee went to a fast-food place for dinner as they both enjoyed burgers and fries together. H8-Bit flew overhead with a tail of pixelated energy as he floated over them and fired blasts of his pixelated energy at telephone poles nearby. He made them explode and fall over as they hit some cars in the parking lots and made them explode as people screamed in fear. Bumblebee took flight and got some people away from the exploding cars while Cyborg ran and pushed some cars away to keep them from exploding too. When everyone was safe they helped the fire department put out the fires while H8-Bit angrily flew away.
Cyborg looked at the cars on fire as he joked, "Guess these cars won't be going through the drive-through."
Raven decided to go to the library and she brought Beast Boy with her as she sat at a table and read a book to herself. Beast Boy glanced around as he leaned on the table with a bored expression as he let out loud sighs while waiting for Raven to let them leave. Raven could tell he was bored and his sighing and stuff was getting on her nerves as she wanted to read in peace and quiet. She looked to the side and suddenly noticed one book on a nearby shelf that was about animals, which gave her an idea. She held her left hand out toward the book as her hand was covered in a sphere of her dark magic, then the book was encased in her black magic. She made the book fly off the shelf and placed it on the table in front of Beast Boy, who was surprised as she looked at Raven.
She showed a serious expression as she softly said, "Try to entertain yourself and be quiet."
Beast Boy looked at the book title "Animals of the World" and Beast Boy opened it and liked some of the pictures he saw.
He smiled as he happily exclaimed, "Sweet!"
Everyone around them raised fingers over their mouths as they shushed Beast Boy, who sheepishly whispered, "Sorry."
He started the reading the book with a big smile on his face, while Raven smiled as she watched him, glad that she found a book that he liked and found a way to shut him up. Robin and Starfire went to a roller-skating rink where Robin tried to teach Starfire how to roller skate, but she could barely stand without falling down.
She almost fell when Robin caught her and she said, "On my world, making someone where shoes such as these without flying would be considered a heinous punishment."
Robin smiled as he said, "You just need a little practice."
Robin started teaching Starfire how to roller skate as they skated around the rink together while some other teens their age watched them with big smiles. After a while Starfire managed to get the hang of it as she managed to stay on her feet without falling down as she held her hands out to her sides. She giggled happily as she managed to skate with Robin next to her while Kitten and Fang watched from just outside. Kitten then snuck inside and managed to get in while everyone was watching Robin and Starfire skate around the rink together. She bent over and crawled behind the wall and made it to the space and waited for Robin and Starfire to skate past her. She smiled deviously as she picked up a hockey puck and slid it toward Starfire's skate without being noticed. The puck hit the wheel of her skate and made Starfire lose balance as she cried in distress while waving her arms around frantically.
She started to fall when Robin caught her and smiled down at her as he sincerely said, "It's okay, I've got you Starfire."
He kept holding her as though she was dipped as she smiled up at him lovingly while everyone else happily cheered for them. Kitten, however, was enraged as she stormed out with her face red as she growled to herself with steam coming out of her ears. Cyborg and Bumblebee went to an arcade where they were playing various different games together while some other kids happily watched them. They shot hoops in basketball and Cyborg won since he was taller, but Bumblebee was not deterred as they played several other games. They played air hockey and Bumblebee was very fast as she won two out of three, much to Cyborg's shock. They played a few other games and won some tickets, but then they played a fighting game and Bumblebee beat Cyborg again.
Cyborg was very impressed as he looked at her and amazedly said, "Man Bee! You're way better than I thought!"
Bumblebee had a smug grin on her face as she proudly boasted, "You're not the only one who plays videogames Sparky."
Cyborg smiled a bit competitively as he challenged, "Okay, you got skills, but I bet you can't beat me again."
She smiled eagerly as she said, "You're on!"
They immediately started playing the game but at an arcade game in the corner of the room, H8-Bit zapped himself out of the game. He appeared without anyone noticing and knew what Cyborg and Bumblebee were doing as he watched them play competitively.
He smiled deviously as he softly said, "Game over."
He shot rays of pixelated energy at the videogame consoles in the arcade and made all the screens go black.
Cyborg and Bumblebee were shocked when Cyborg yelled, "Say what?!"
H8-Bit smiled evilly before moving his arms as his visor glowed blue and he made all the games come back online. However, the consoles malfunctioned as quarters shot out of them at highspeed and hit Bumblebee, knocking her down.
She let out a small cry of pain as she sat in a pile of them while Cyborg yelled, "Bee!"
The screens all shined brightly, prompting Bumblebee to shield her eyes while Cyborg also shielded his while gritting his teeth. He grunted in fury as he activated his right energy whip and lashed it at a power box on the wall, cutting the power to all the games and shutting them down. H8-Bit was vexed as he glared from the shadows while Cyborg generously helped Bumblebee back onto her feet.
The owner of the arcade walked up to them and freaked out as he exclaimed, "What happened?! My games!"
Cyborg spoke sincerely as he held his left hand up before placing his hand on his chest as he said, "Sorry man. Someone messed with your consoles and made them go haywire. I'll come over tomorrow and fix them up, good as new, but for now I guess you'll have to close up."
The owner was disappointed but acted reasonably as he said, "Okay, if you can fix them that's good enough for me."
Bumblebee pointed her thumb at the door as she said, "Come on, let's go."
Cyborg smiled as he held his hand up to stop her and pulled out their tickets and said, "Hold up, before we go, let's cash in."
They went to the prize area and Cyborg exchanged their tickets for an action figure that looked just like Cyborg.
Cyborg smiled as he gave the action figure to Bumblebee and said, "Here Bee, a little Valentine's present."
Bumblebee smiled as she happily accepted it and said, "Thanks, now I got my own little Sparky to take home with me."
She held it in her hand while H8-Bit watched them smile at each other while he grew angrier before leaving. Later, Raven agreed to let Beast Boy decide what they would do next, so Beast Boy thought of something that he thought she might enjoy. Beast Boy dragged Raven to the aquarium as they looked at fish in tanks, Raven was not very amused as she folded her arms.
Beast Boy then eagerly took her hand and dragged her to one door while she said, "Where are you taking me?"
They were just outside a door when he smiled at her and confidently said, "Trust me, you're gonna like this."
Raven showed an annoyed expression as she muttered, "Oh boy."
He entered the room with her and Raven was surprised that it was very dark, there were only some dim lights on the floor. The fishtanks were full of deep-sea fish that were bioluminescent, some looked very strange and frightening, such as anglerfish and viperfish.
Raven walked toward the tanks with interest as she asked, "What is this?"
Beast Boy smiled as he explained, "This is where they put all their scary deep-sea fish. What do you think?"
Raven was impressed as she looked at the fish in tanks before acting calm as she admitted, "Cool. I mean, not bad."
He smiled smugly as he folded his arms, knowing she was denying it, and proudly said, "I knew you'd like it."
Raven did not face him as she hid her small smile as she glanced at him out of the corner of her eye before looking at the fish. After a long day it was early in the evening as the sun started going down, making the sky look purple and beautiful. Robin and Starfire ended their Valentine's Day at the fair on the pier as they got some cotton candy and rode the Ferris wheel. The Ferris wheel stopped with Starfire and Robin at the top, where Starfire happily rested her head on Robin's shoulder. They both happily watched as fireworks were shot and exploded high above them in many different colors.
Robin smiled with his arm around Starfire as he happily asked, "So Starfire, are you enjoying Valentine's Day?"
She smiled up at his face lovingly as she said, "Yes. This is truly one of the most wonderous days of my life."
Robin smiled as he honestly said, "Good, I'm glad you're not disappointed. Nothing's gone the way we planned today."
Starfire smiled sweetly at him and said, "Life does not always go the way we hope, we encounter many trials and difficulties, but as long as you are with me, I have all that I need."
Robin smiled at her as he happily said, "Thanks Starfire, I know what you mean. If I didn't have you my life would be a mess."
She smiled as she shut her eyes and nuzzled her head against his chest while he smiled lovingly at her before glancing around suspiciously. He knew something was going on and that someone was out to get them, and he had a good idea who it was. He felt that things seemed too peaceful at the moment and that something bad was going to happen any second now.
His suspicions were proven correct when a ray was suddenly shot at them, he saw it and yelled, "Starfire incoming!"
He shoved her to the side and leaned out of the way as they narrowly dodged the ray, then Robin jumped out of the car while Starfire flew out. Robin used a grapple to swing down onto the pier and Starfire joined him as they both landed and saw Kitten and Fang staring at them as Fang held a ray gun in his hand.
Kitten smiled as she waved and said, "Hi Robby-poo!"
Starfire and Robin glared at them as Robin coldly said, "Kitten! Fang! I knew it!"
Fang spoke snidely as he sassed, "Took you long enough, smart guy."
The two couples glared at each other as they stood in fighting stances as Starfire's hands glowed green and Fang hissed. Meanwhile, Cyborg and Bumblebee had gone to a drive-in theater in the T-Car as they enjoyed popcorn and drinks. They were watching a romantic movie as Cyborg sat behind the wheel while Bumblebee sat in the passenger seat.
Bumblebee took a sip from her straw and smiled with a relaxed expression as she said, "Now this is more like it."
Cyborg smiled in agreement as he patted the wheel and said, "Yeah, no danger, no bad guys, just you, me, and my baby."
Bumblebee smiled at Cyborg as she flirtatiously said, "Hey Sparky, your car is pretty great but I hope you don't love it more than you love me."
Cyborg smiled happily at her as he sincerely said, "No way Bee. My car's great but she's got nothing on you."
She smiled seductively as she leaned closer to him and said, "Good, 'cause you know I'd hurt you if you chose it over me."
Cyborg chuckled as he happily joked, "Trust me, I know better than to mess with you. Speaking of which, great job earlier. You really kicked Atlas' butt."
Bumblebee smiled proudly as she shut her eyes and boasted, "It was nothing. No man or machine can take me down."
Cyborg then looked at her with curiosity as he asked, "So you're having a good time? I know trouble's been following us all day and nothing's gone the way we planned."
Bumblebee smiled at him as she sincerely said, "Oh yeah, I'm having a great time Sparky. We've had some bad luck today but it's not your fault. Besides, that's all behind us now. Let's just focus on what we're doing now."
Cyborg smiled as he looked at the big screen and optimistically said, "You're right. Let's just enjoy the movie. I honestly think the trouble's over now."
Bumblebee smiled lovingly as she moved closer to try to kiss him as she said, "Yeah, it's just the two of us alone in a car. Nothing could ruin this."
Cyborg smiled as they both closed their eyes and prepared to kiss as they leaned toward each other with their lips only inches away from each other.
Suddenly the movie stopped and H8-Bit's face appeared on the screen as he smiled evilly and said, "Don't be so sure lovebirds!"
They were startled as they looked at the drive-in screen and saw him as Cyborg exclaimed, "H8-Bit?!"
H8-Bit zapped himself out of the screen and floated in front of it with a tail of his pixelated energy as he said, "Hey buddy! Having a good Valentine's Day?"
The other people in the drive-in suddenly got scared and started their cars before driving away while Cyborg and Bumblebee stayed. They both got out of the T-Car and glared at H8-Bit as they stepped forward while Bumblebee hovered in the air.
She put her hands on her hips as she demanded, "What do you want?!"
H8-Bit's hands glowed blue with his pixelated energy as he grinned sinisterly and said, "I just wanted to visit my old friend."
He clinched his fists and then jerked his head forward as he shot a blue ray of pixelated energy from his visor.
Commercial break
Raven and Beast Boy were in the park together as they sat on a bench and looked up at the beautiful purple sky as it gradually grew darker. They both smiled peacefully as they looked up at the sky before glancing around at the park around them. They looked at each other out of the corner of their eyes with small smiles before looking back up at the sky again.
Beast Boy smiled as he said, "It's a nice night."
Raven spoke fondly as she said, "Yeah."
Beast Boy then turned to Raven as he curiously asked, "Hey Raven, can I ask you something?"
Raven looked at him as she politely said, "Sure."
Beast Boy showed true curiosity as he said, "This morning, when I asked you out, what made you say 'yes' to me?"
Raven folded her arms as she stared into space and honestly answered, "To be honest, I guess I mostly felt bad for you."
Beast Boy looked down in disappointment as he frowned and said, "Oh okay."
Realizing she unintentionally hurt him as she turned to face him and sincerely said, "I could sense that you were feeling lonely and I felt like I should do something nice for you for a change."
Beast Boy looked at her with surprise as he said, "Really?"
Raven nodded as she glanced to the side and said, "Yeah, I know how it feels to be alone, especially on a day like this. I thought 'how bad could one day with you be'?"
Beast Boy was somewhat amused as he smiled appreciatingly and said, "Thanks Raven."
Raven shrugged as she smiled pleasantly honestly said, "No problem. I thought I'd end up regretting this but I'm actually glad I did this. I actually had a really good time."
Beast Boy smiled as he said, "Me too."
Beast Boy and Raven both looked forward and saw a few couples pass by holding hands as they smiled at each other lovingly.
Raven put her hands in her lap as she watched the couples and said, "Seems like everybody has somebody, except me."
Beast Boy smiled as he put his arm around Raven and held her close as he half-jokingly said, "And me! But at least I have you! Who needs a relationship when we have each other!"
Raven couldn't help but smile as she folded her arms with and let Beast Boy keep his arm around her since she was in a good mood.
She smiled as she looked up at the sky and said, "This is the best Valentine's Day I've ever had."
Beast Boy immediately became excited as he asked, "Really?!"
She looked at him out of the corner of her eye as she honestly said, "Well, it's the only Valentine's Day I've ever had, but I had a good time so yeah."
Beast Boy's smile vanished with disappointment but he took the compliment as he smiled and said, "Yeah, me too."
Raven then stared out and curiously said, "I wonder how Robin, Starfire, Cyborg, and Bumblebee are enjoying their Valentine's Day."
Beast Boy smiled as he stared forward and shrugged as he said, "I'll bet they're all probably all having a great time."
Meanwhile at the pier
Robin and Starfire were glaring at Kitten and Fang as they all prepared to fight as Kitten pulled out her plasma whip and lashed it on the pier.
Starfire's hands were glowing green as she floated and accused, "It was you! You were responsible for all of our accidents and misfortunes!"
Kitten smiled evilly as she exclaimed, "That's right space girl! And now Fangy and I are going to have a great Valentine's Day, by ending yours!"
She lashed her plasma whip at Robin and Starfire, who separated before they started fighting back as the two evil teens attacked. Fang charged at Robin and started spitting large globs of his webby goo while Robin narrowly dodged them. Fang then fired the purple ray from his gun and almost shot Robin, but he quickly threw a birdarang out and blocked it as it was destroyed. He then pulled out his grapple and shot it out and swung from it as he kicked Fang and knocked him back, but Fang stayed on his spider legs and kept fighting. He tried to shoot Robin with the venom from his fangs, but Robin managed to dodge the venom before jumping at him and kicking him. However, Fang dodged him and moved his body forward using his spider legs and kicked Robin, knocking him down.
He stood high over Robin as he gloated, "Now who's the cool one Boy Wonder?"
He tried to stab Robin with the end of one of his spider legs, but Robin dodged it and kicked the leg, making Fang lose balance.
Then Robin jumped and punched him in the face and knocked him down, and Robin smugly said, "I'm definitely better looking than you."
Fang angrily got up and kept fighting Robin while Kitten repeatedly lashed her plasma whip at Starfire, hitting her twice and knocking her down. Starfire then stood up and angrily shot her eyebeams and knocked the plasma whip out of Kitten's hand as she cried in distress. Starfire then angrily flew at Kitten with her arms out but Kitten pulled out Killer Moth's cocoon gun and shot it at Starfire. Starfire narrowly dodged it and watched as it trapped a civilian in a cocoon, which hardened and encased them as they fell down.
Starfire stared at Kitten in shock as she gloated, "A nice birthday present from daddy. Just what I wanted!"
She shot another glob at Starfire, but she dodged it and then took a large piece of wood and swung it at Kitten, only for her to duck. Kitten then jumped over and picked her plasma whip back up and lashed it at Starfire, hitting her and making her cry in pain. She knocked Starfire down as she looked up and saw Kitten standing over her with an evil grin as she held her whip and cocoon gun.
She smiled mockingly with sharp teeth as she exclaimed, "Now who's the strong one?!"
She let out an evil laugh as she lashed her orange plasma whip and whipped it toward Starfire's face with great speed and power.
Meanwhile at the drive-in
Bumblebee was flying in the air as she fired her stingers at H8-Bit, but he blocked the blasts of energy with a shield of his pixelated energy. He dropped the shield and then threw a blast of his pixelated energy at Bumblebee, making her cry in pain as she dropped her stingers and fell to the ground. She tried to make a grab for her stingers but H8-Bit came down and planted his feet on them as his visor glowed blue and he prepared to shoot at her. Cyborg blasted H8-Bit with his sonic cannon and knocked him away from Bumblebee and sent him crashing into the concession stand.
He had popcorn butter all of him but he glared at Cyborg, who held his left sonic cannon up as he said, "No one messes with my girlfriend!"
Bumblebee smiled at Cyborg while he blasted his sonic cannon at H8-Bit while letting out a loud yell of fury. H8-Bit dodged it and then became pure pixelated energy before taking the shape of a large humanoid monster and grabbing two cars and throwing them at Cyborg. He dodged them both before firing his sonic cannon at the pixelated monster's chest, destroying it. But H8-Bit reformed in his usual form and his hands glowed blue before he shot two rays of his pixelated energy at Cyborg. He successfully hit him and sent him crashing into a car before Cyborg lifted the car and threw it at H8-Bit only for H8-Bit to teleport out of the way. Cyborg then ran at H8-Bit and tried to punch him, but H8-Bit dodged his fist and then rapidly punched him in the face with his fists glowing with blue pixelated energy.
He knocked Cyborg down and Cyborg glared at him as he angrily demanded, "Why are you doing this H8-Bit?!"
H8-Bit stood over him as he fiercely said, "You ruined my life, now I'll ruin yours!"
Cyborg activated his left energy whip and lashed it at H8-Bit, knocking him away, then he got up and marched toward him.
He kept walking as he angrily inquired, "So you've been following us around all day trying to ruin our day together?!"
H8-Bit got up and angrily yelled, "That's right!"
He held up his left hand and shot a ray of pixelated energy from it and sent Cyborg flying back and crashing into the side of a car.
Cyborg fell to the ground and H8-Bit stood over him as he smiled and gloated, "I thought Atlas would take you down, but if you want something done right you have to do it yourself."
He then created a mallet out of his pixelated energy in his hands and prepared to smash I down on Cyborg when he was knocked away by something he small. H8-Bit looked to see Bumblebee flying toward him in her small size as she punched him in the face and knocked him back. He flew around him in her small size and punched and kicked different parts of his body and knocked him around while his pixelated mallet disappeared. H8-Bit growled angrily as he swung his arm and swatted Bumblebee away and then tried to stomp on her until he was tackled by Cyborg.
Cyborg slammed H8-Bit to the ground and stared him in the face as he fiercely said, "Your beef's with me! Leave her out of this!"
H8-Bit then shot a ray of his pixelated energy from his visor and blasted Cyborg into the air and sent him falling down on the roof of a car.
H8-Bit's legs turned into a tail of pixelated energy as he flew over Cyborg and said, "You took everything from me, so I'm gonna take everything from you!"
Suddenly he heard Bumblebee shout, "Think again!"
He was hit by a blast of yellow energy and knocked to the ground as his legs reformed, Bumblebee hovered in her normal size as she held her stingers. Cyborg got up and joined her as H8-Bit glared at them and pulled his arms back as he created an orb of his pixelated energy. He launched the orb at them with both hands but they dodged it and the orb blew up a parked car, then H8-Bit yelled in rage as he ran at them.
Back at the pier
Robin and Starfire were fighting Kitten and Fang at the fair as both couples displayed extreme determination and tenacity. Robin got his bo staff but Fang spit a glob of his webby goo and knocked the bo out of Robin's hand and stuck it to a support beam behind him. Robin was vexed but kept fighting as he ran at Fang and rapidly punched him before kicking him in the chest. Fang's body moved back but his spider legs kept him in place, then he used his spider legs to swing his body toward Robin and kick him. Robin however grabbed Fang's normal leg and held him in place before forcing it to the side and performing a roundhouse kick to Fang's face. He knocked Fang down, but he got back up when Robin pulled out a birdarang and threw it at him, but Fang swung his front left spider leg and knocked it away. He hissed as he walked toward Robin and tried to punch him, only for Robin to block it, but then Fang spun his body around with his spider legs out and knocked Robin away. He sent him crashing into a game booth but Robin got up and vaulted over the counter and kept fighting Fang. Meanwhile, Starfire kept fighting Kitten as she floated in the air and threw a bunch of starbolts at her, but Kitten lashed her plasma whip every which way. She blocked all of the starbolts and then swung her plasma whip out and lassoed Starfire's upper body with it and shocked her with energy. Starfire let out a loud cry of pain before Kitten lashed her whip and slammed Starfire down onto the pier before pulling the whip back. Kitten smiled evilly as she walked to Starfire, but Starfire immediately got up and grabbed Kitten by her dress. She yelled in fury as she whirled Kitten around before throwing her at a cotton candy machine; Kitten fell headfirst into the cotton candy machine and came out with cotton candy on her head.
She then furiously yelled, "You ruined my hair!"
She lashed her plasma whip at Starfire's face and hit her as Starfire cried in pain and then fell down before getting up on her knees. Kitten aimed the cocoon gun at Starfire and prepared to shoot, but Starfire shot a small starbolt from her finger and knocked it out of her hand. Kitten watched it slide across the pier before Starfire flew at her yelling in fury with her eyes glowing green as she reached for Kitten. Kitten screamed in terror as Starfire grabbed her and pinned her down while staring her in the face, but Kitten managed to force her off of her. She looked and saw a strength test game and then grabbed the mallet and swung it at Starfire's face, knocking her to the side. Starfire then shot her eyebeams and destroyed the end of the mallet before she angrily attacked Kitten again. Kitten lashed her plasma whip at Starfire and sent her crashing into a shooting game as she knocked down a target with her body. Kitten smiled arrogantly until Starfire got up and glared daggers at her before throwing a single starbolt at Kitten. It hit Kitten and blasted her back as she slid back on the pier while cringing in pain, she stopped sliding and noticed her cocoon gun within reach. Starfire flew at Kitten with her eyes glowing green as she prepared to grab her, but Kitten smiled evilly as she grabbed her cocoon gun and aimed it at Starfire. She shot it and successfully hit Starfire as she trapped her in a green cocoon with only her head and feet sticking out as she fell down on the pier. Starfire desperately struggled but could not break free as Kitten smiled evilly and walked to Starfire as she stood over her with her hands on her hips.
She smiled as she gloated, "Not so tough now, are you?"
Starfire then angrily shot her eyebeams at Kitten, who cried in fear while she moved back and dodged them.
She then glared down at Starfire before smiling as she sadistically said, "I don't know what Robby-poo sees in you! Maybe when you're gone I'll take him for myself!"
Starfire glared at Kitten with her eyes glowing green as she said, "You will do no such thing!"
Kitten glared at her before turning to see Robin and Fang still fighting, then she turned to Starfire and said, "Well if I can't have him, neither can you!"
She lashed her plasma whip at Starfire's face before marching toward Robin and Fang while Starfire desperately struggled again. Robin kicked Fang in the face and made him stumble backwards, then Fang pulled out his ray gun, only for Robin to throw a birdarang. He knocked the ray gun out of Fang's hand as it fell to the pier and sparked with electricity as the birdarang stuck the side of it and damaged it. Fang glared at Robin again as he pulled out a second birdarang and prepared to throw it when his arm was lassoed by Kitten's plasma whip.
Robin looked at her in shock as she smiled maniacally and said, "Sorry Robby-poo, fun's over! Fang go!"
Fang then spit a glob of his webby goo at Robin and pinned him to a wall behind him; Robin desperately struggled but it was too strong.
Kitten and Fang then walked up to him as Kitten smiled evilly and Fang gloated, "Nowhere to run now."
Kitten held her plasma whip as she and Fang prepared to finish Robin while Starfire, still cocooned up watched.
She gasped in shock and worry as she yelled, "Robin!"
Kitten grinned sadistically at Starfire as she arrogantly said, "Don't worry, when we're done with him we'll finish you!"
Starfire gritted her teeth as she grunted in rage and then she used her Nova power as her whole body glowed green. She destroyed the cocoon around her as she got on her feet and yelled in fury before flying over to help Robin. She knocked Kitten and Fang away from him before ripping the webby goo off of Robin, thus freeing him. Kitten lashed her plasma whip at Starfire, but Starfire grabbed it in her hand and showed no pain as her glowing green body easily withstood the energy. She then pulled the plasma whip and took it from Kitten before destroying it, then Fang spit a glob of his webby goo at her, but it was destroyed by her body. They both showed fear as Starfire flew at them and easily defeated them as she knocked them both out. When they were defeated her body stopped glowing green as Robin joined her and smiled at her, making her smile as well. They turned Kitten and Fang over to the police, who started loading them both into the back of a transport.
As the police escorted Kitten she furiously glared at Robin and Starfire as she ranted, "You think you're the perfect couple, well you're not!"
Robin smiled proudly as he said, "You're right, we're not perfect. But we're way better than you two."
Back at the drive-in
Cyborg fired the energy cannon in his chest, but H8-Bit dodged it before shooting a blast of his pixelated energy at Cyborg. He blasted Cyborg and knocked him down, but Cyborg sat up and launched six missiles from his shoulders. H8-Bit took flight as his legs became a tail of pixelated energy and he dodged all the missiles before creating a fist of his pixelated energy. He made it fly through the air and punched Cyborg with it, sending him flying and crashing through the drive-in movie screen. H8-Bit smiled arrogantly until he was hit from behind by a blast of yellow energy and cried in pain before turning around. Bumblebee was hovering in the air as she aimed her stingers at him and fired them again, only for H8-Bit to protect himself with a force-field of his pixelated energy. He dropped it and then fired blasts of his pixelated energy, but Bumblebee shrunk herself and flew around to dodge the blasts. She flew toward H8-Bit's face and prepared to hit him but he blasted her with a ray of pixelated energy from his visor and made her cry in pain as he sent her crashing down.
Cyborg caught Bumblebee in the palm of his hand and asked, "You okay?"
She stood up in his palm as she nodded and said, "Yeah, I'm good."
H8-Bit was still flying in the air when he threw his arms out and shot a powerful blast of his pixelated energy at them. Cyborg held Bumblebee in his hand as he jumped out of the way, then he activated his left sonic cannon and blasted H8-Bit. He knocked him back through the air but H8-Bit recovered and floated in the air before he angrily flew down toward Cyborg and tried to punch him. Cyborg dodged him and deactivated his sonic cannon, then he grabbed H8-Bit's energy tail in his left hand and whirled him around before slamming him to the ground. He then raised his foot over H8-Bit and activated the sonic blaster in it, hitting H8-Bit hard as he cried in pain. H8-Bit then angrily transformed into pure pixelated energy and took the shape of a T-Rex as he roared ferociously.
Cyborg and Bumblebee were mildly intimidated as Cyborg admitted, "Wish BB were here."
H8-Bit roared as he grabbed Cyborg in his mouth and shook him like a chew toy before throwing Cyborg away. He sent him crashing into a dumpster as sparks of electricity briefly surged from Cyborg's body, showing that he was damaged. H8-Bit then changed back to his previous form as he floated in the air with a tail of pixelated energy.
He smiled evilly as he arrogantly gloated, "The mighty has fallen!"
Cyborg glared at H8-Bit with a vexed expression as he said, "I hate to say it, but I think he might be right. He's too powerful."
Bumblebee, still tiny, flew next to Cyborg's head as she said, "Not if we take him by surprise! I got an idea Sparky!"
She told him his idea and he smiled as he stood up and looked at H8-Bit and yelled, "Yo pixel! Let's see if you can take a punch!"
He then held his right fist up and aimed it at H8-Bit before detaching his arm and igniting the thrusters in it, sending his arm flying toward H8-Bit. H8-Bit smiled arrogantly as he prepared himself, but when Cyborg's arm came close his hand opened up to reveal Bumblebee. She grew to her normal size and kicked H8-Bit in the face, sending him falling to the ground as his legs reformed and he groaned in pain. He tried to get up when suddenly Bumblebee flew down and hovered over him before firing her stingers at him. They created one powerful blast of her yellow energy that made H8-Bit cry in agony before he lost consciousness.
Bumblebee smiled triumphantly as she said, "Float like a butterfly sting like a Bumblebee!"
Cyborg joined her as his arm flew back and he reattached it and smiled as he and Bumblebee looked down at H8-Bit. They turned him over to the police, who put a special high-tech restraint device on him along with mechanical cuffs. They loaded him into the back of the transport as he angrily grumbled to himself, then he sat down in the truck, along with Kitten and Fang.
The truck drove away with them as Cyborg looked at Bumblebee and said, "So, this is probably the worst Valentine's Day you ever had."
Bumblebee smiled at him as she said, "No way! This was great!"
Cyborg was amazed as he pointed at the truck driving away and said, "Really?! But H8-Bit ruined everything."
Bumblebee smiled lovingly as she flapped her wings and hovered next to Cyborg while she said, "It takes more than some bad guy to ruin my day. I got to spend the whole day with you and kicked two bad guys' butts. It was the best Valentine's Day ever."
Cyborg showed a flattered smile as he said, "Aww, that's sweet."
Bumblebee then kissed Cyborg on the cheek and he blushed bright red as he placed his hand on his cheek before Bumblebee landed and started walking to the T-Car.
Later at Titans Tower
Cyborg, Bumblebee, Robin, and Starfire were gathered in the main room as they told each other about what had happened to them. Cyborg and Bumblebee had already told about how H8-Bit and Atlas attacked them, and Robin and Cyborg just finished telling them about Kitten, Fang, and Killer Moth.
Bumblebee had her arms folded as she said, "Wow! Sounds like you two had as much fun as me and Sparky."
Robin nodded before turning to Starfire while he apologized, "Yeah, I'm sorry things didn't go the way we planned Star."
Starfire smiled cheerfully as she said, "Do not despair Robin. Despite the attacks and misfortunes we were able to celebrate a most joyous occasion. I am most thankful for our time together."
Robin smiled at her, then Cyborg held his left palm up as he curiously asked, "Anybody seen BB or Raven anywhere?"
Just then, Beast Boy and Raven walked in together and smiled at them as Beast Boy said, "Hey dudes, how were your dates?"
Cyborg spoke honestly as he admitted, "We had a good time, except for being attacked by Atlas and H8-Bit."
Robin showed a similar expression as he said, "And we had fun, even though we had to deal with Killer Moth, Kitten, and Fang."
Raven was somewhat surprised as she said, "Wow, sounds like you guys had a busy day."
Bumblebee smiled as she curiously asked, "So what'd you two do?"
Beast Boy and Raven smiled at each other before Beast Boy pointed his thumb and answered, "We went out."
Robin, Cyborg, and Starfire's eyes widened in shock as Robin asked, "On a date?!"
Raven nodded as she admitted, "Yeah."
Beast Boy smiled as he pointed his left thumb at Raven and explained, "After you guys left I asked Raven out and she said 'yes'!"
Cyborg was speechless as he said, "Whoa!"
Bumblebee smiled slyly as she pointed at Beast Boy and said, "So you listened to my suggestion?"
Beast Boy nodded as he simply answered, "Yeah."
Starfire held her fists together as she looked at Raven in curiosity as she asked, "You said 'yes' to go out on the date with him?"
She shrugged as she honestly said, "I was mostly just tried to be polite."
Bumblebee smirked with interest as she asked, "Did you have a good time together?"
Beast Boy smiled as he said, "Yeah, we had a great day."
Raven smiled as she glanced around in thought and said, "We enjoyed a movie together, visited my favorite café, got a malt together, read books at the library, went to the aquarium, then enjoyed a peaceful evening in the park."
Starfire was stunned as she stared at them and said, "It sounds as though you had a more peaceful day than us."
Raven smiled as she looked at Beast Boy and said, "Yeah, thanks for taking me out, Beast Boy. I have to admit, you know how to show a girl a good time."
He had a flattered smile as he looked at her and said, "Thanks for saying 'yes'. Happy Valentine's Day Raven."
He turned to her and offered to shake her hand but Raven smiled as she got a better idea and said, "Happy Valentine's Day."
She grabbed him by his shirt and he was startled when she shut her eyes and pressed her lips to his and kissed him passionately. His eyes widened as he let out a small cry of shock as she kissed him while Starfire stared in shock and Robin and Cyborg's jaws dropped to the floor. Bumblebee smiled with her arms folded as she was not surprised and watched them, happy for them both. Raven stopped kissing Beast Boy as his arms hung limply at his side while he stared forward, dumbfounded.
She looked at the others as she calmly said, "If anyone needs me, I'll be in my room. Bye."
She left as the door closed behind her, and Bumblebee smiled as she walked to Beast Boy and said, "I knew you two would end up together."
She was joined by the others as they all stared at Beast Boy, who was still stunned by the kiss as he did not move a muscle.
Cyborg then waved his hand in front of Beast Boy's face as he said, "Uh… Beast Boy?"
He then gently poked Beast Boy in the face with his fingertip and made Beast Boy fall flat on the floor with his arms out.
A huge grin appeared on his face as his eyes turned into hearts while he blushed and said, "That… was… AWESOME!"
Cyborg and Robin looked down at him with shocked expressions while Starfire recovered from her shock and smiled with delight as she floated in the air.
She shut her eyes and put her hands together as she said, "So very romantic!"
Bumblebee smiled with her hand on her hip as she said, "Oh yeah."
Beast Boy kept staring into space with a dreamy smile as his eyes stared blankly into space and he sighed happily.

Author's note: For all you BBRae shippers out there, Beast Boy and Raven are not a couple yet but the sparks are building and in one of my later stories we will finally see them end up together. Now their feelings for each other are clearer and their love is official, even though they might not admit it. It's also a bit of sign that their day went better than the others. I figured Kitten and Fang would be the perfect bad guys for a Valentine's Day special, and I thought H8-Bit would be a good antagonist for Cyborg and Bumblebee to fight. The part where we saw each of the three couples on different dates during the day was supposed to be a montage, though I admit I feel like I made it too long. I had a hard time thinking of stuff for them to do together as couples. Some of the things they did together suited them perfectly, though others I'm not sure about. This is my last chapter of this story for now, I have a new job so I don't have as much free time and I want to turn my attention to my other stories for a while. For now, enjoy what I have so far.
