Disclaimer: I do not own either Godzilla the Series or The Scorpion King, only how the story goes. TheGodzilla the Seriesbelongs to Toho and Tristar andThe Scorpion Kingbelongs to WWF/WWE and Universal. The only thing that I do own are the OC's of the story. I apologize for any errors in grammar and/or if I was not accurate in reference to something.

A/N: I know that it's been a while since I made a match up between these two. But what with the year almost over, I thought it would be fun.

Legend of the Great Scorpion Mutation

While exploring what appeared to be an ancient tomb somewhere in the Sahara Desert, a group of six people walked into one of the chambers. A man wearing a black jacket, white shirt and brown pants by the name of NickTatapolus, two human women, one with red hair, green sweater and brown pants by the name of Elsie Chapman and the other in black clothing named Monique Dupree, a man in a white lab coat, yellow shirt and black pants by the name of Mendel Craven, a man in a blue jacket and shorts named Randy Hernandez and a yellow robot known as N.I.G.E.L. The roboticist of the group looked about and asked, "So, how exactly does this place relate to mutations again?"

"That's the million dollar question that we're all wondering." Nick said from the front of the group. Elsie glanced at some hieroglyphs and said, "Still can't believe those grad students were able to find this place."

"Yeah," Randy agreed with her. Then he added, "You'd think that they would have found the tomb of the Scorpion King by now."

The six then entered what appeared to be a large chamber. Their they found even more hieroglyphs on the walls. Moving to one of the walls, Monique looked over them and said, "They tell a story."

"Ooh, is it story time?" Randy jokingly asked. It earned a few looks from his friends and he became silent. The spy shook her head, "I cannot read these. I do not fully understand them."

"Luckily, N.I.G.E.L has some sophisticated language software." Mendel proudly said and turned to his robotic creation. Then he directed the robot, "N.I.G.E.L, please translate."

The robot moved forward to the wall and looked the hieroglyphs over. Then he began translating.

(Cue Legend of the Scorpion King)

A much younger sun flashed over a much older world of the Mutations. Even though the sun was shining down on the ancient world, it was to be a dark day as a great battle was about to commence. A different large lush land was surrounded by a large desert. Creatures of different kinds, giant reptiles, mammals, sea creatures and various others were all gathering before the opening of the valley. They were preparing their natural defenses of claws, tentacles or powers. They were defending the valley from an invading army of ancient Mutations that were a few yards from them. The invading army stomped their feet or scratched their feet against the ground while roaring their war cries or roaring right at the enemy.

N.I.G.E.L.: It began a long time ago, after the birth of the world and creatures of various sizes and shapes

The Scorpion Mutation's army looked a whole lot meaner than the defending army. Painted in red all over their bodies were scorpions or the insignia of their leader. They all stood in long lines as they waited to charge towards their enemies. The invading army of monsters in the middle of the formation suddenly moved aside. A lone Mutation warrior walked up to the head of the army with a growl. The beast in question was a large reptilian with a square shaped head, curved scutes along his back and had fiery orange eyes. On his chest and forehead, a red scorpion was painted. In the monster's mouth was the stinger from what was possibly a giant scorpion monster. The Scorpion Mutation raised his head into the air and let loose a roar and a jet of green flame that was followed by the cries of his army.

The Scorpion Mutation looked over at the army of defending monsters. His own army waited for his command and the leader pointed his claws at the city and shouted, "Haku Mashente!"

Another round of roars, bellows and war cries followed after. With another roar, the Scorpion Mutation rushed forward with his comrades behind him. The defending creature armies gave their own war cries before rushing forward as well. They all shouted as the two armies drew ever closer and closer to each other. It wasn't much longer when the two armies came together in an epic clash.

Bodies smashed together, teeth and claws tore through flesh as the battle commenced. A large wasp monster impaled a giant snake in the gut with their stinger and the bigger soldier bellowed from the pain. A giant bat leapt into the air and landed onto the back of a crustacean. The crustacean tried to get the bat off of him, but was helpless when his foe bit into his eye stalk with his teeth. The Scorpion Mutation used his great head to bash into the skull of another monster before smacking another away with his tail. Another reptilian monster came running up to him with his jaws wide open and looked to unleash a fiery blast, but the Scorpion Mutation was able to move out of the way before slamming his own clawed hand onto the back of his enemy his enemy. The enemy mutation went down with a roar of pain and was soon silenced when the Scorpion Mutation released him before slamming his foot on the downed Mutation's back again. The soldiers of both engaging armies continued to fight and slaughter each other as the battle continued to rage. The great reptile knocked through a couple of other monsters before snatching up a small monster with his jaws and bit down to end its life. The Scorpion Mutation turned around just as a fast red mutation came running up to him with a glare. The great reptile waited for just the right moment as he lowered his head and then flipped the attacking monster through the air with his back. The downed monster was about to get back up when the menacing green Mutation opened his jaws and let loose a green flame that ended the beast's life. With a growl, the Scorpion Mutation turned and roared as he rushed to engage another mutation in combat.

But it was all for naught as the Scorpion Mutation's army had been defeated and driven out. An injured monster fell to the ground dead as his king and comrades walked deep into the desert.

N.I.G.E.L.: After a vicious campaign that lasted for seven long years, the Scorpion Mutation and his army were defeated and driven deep into the great desertof Ahm Shere.

The great reptile and his assortment of monster warriors walked deep into the desert as the sun bore harshly down on them as they continued. Some of them dragged their tails or long arms in the sand while others hung their heads in defeat. As they continued walking, the Dark Master looked up when he heard a scavenging bird screech from above them. But with a grim frown he continued to march across the desert with the others.

Later on, the majority of the Scorpion Mutation's army had fallen dead due to the heat of the sun and the lack of food and water. A black Mutation fell dead against the sand and was soon followed by a cheetah as he dropped to the ground before rolling down a sand dune.

N.I.G.E.L.: One by one, the Mutations slowly perished under the scorching sun… Until only the great green Mutation himself was left alive.

But the great reptile was the only one left as he continued to walk through the large desert, though he too was beginning to feel the fatigue. He started to stumble as he walked and his eyes were drooping from the exhaustion. After some time, the warrior Mutation made it to the top of another sand dune, but he stopped when he was too exhausted to go on any further.

N.I.G.E.L.: Near death, the Scorpion Mutation went and made a pact with the Dark Monster Spirit.

The exhausted green Mutation looked up to the clear sky and prayed in an ancient language. It seemed like he was making a vow of sorts to a deity.

A pretty big black scorpion suddenly popped out from the sand and crawled towards the Scorpion Mutation. He looked down to the arachnid and took it as a sign that his pact with the Dark Monster Spirit was made. He gingerly lifted his talons towards it and became wary when the scorpion became defensive before grabbing it in his claws. The scorpion responded by stabbing into his clawed hand with its stinger and the Mutation grunted in pain with each strike. The great reptile lowered his head and bit its head off for sustenance and the scorpion monster squealed as its life ended.

N.I.G.E.L.: The Dark Monster Spirit accepted the great reptile's offer and spared the Scorpion Mutation's life.

Suddenly, blades of grass started to erupt from the sand and grew all around the Scorpion Mutation. The startled green Mutation looked about him as large ferns sprouted around him and more forms of greenery started to appear and spread out for miles. The Scorpion Mutation turned a full circle as he watched the greenery continue to grow from the sand. Only when he had turned a full circle is when all the plants stopped growing and the surrounding desert had become the Oasis of Ahm Shere. A grin formed on the great reptile's face before he lifted his head and let out a triumphant roar into the sky.

Sometime later, the Scorpion Mutation then once again attacked the same valley where his original army had failed. Only this time he was leading an army of shadowy Mutation spirits by his side. The dark warriors looked like they were just about every species of Mutation you could imagine, only that they had crawled from the darkest parts of the world. They were able to breach through the opening and poured into the valley as they attacked. They searched, attacked and killed the inhabitants that they found. One demonic Mutation slapped a female mutation to the ground while it violently crushing a smaller monster underfoot. It stepped off of the bloody corpse and looked down at it. Its lips peeled back and it let loose a powerful roar.

N.I.G.E.L.: The Dark Monster Spirit went and gave the great reptile monster command of his army of shadows. And like an evil flood they washed away all that lay before them.

Many of the shadowy Mutation warriors of the Dark Monster Spirit continued to pour into the city and continued the onslaught. Fires were started and blood from many animals stained the ground. Some of the shadowy figures warriors killed the creatures of the city on the spot, while others dragged others to a high point of the city and threw them over the edge. The falling creatures screamed as they fell to their deaths. The warriors of the Dark Monster Spirit pushed down structures of all kinds as they continued to cause a great deal of destruction of and death.

N.I.G.E.L.: When his task was done, the Dark Monster Spirit forced the Scorpion Mutation to serve him for all time.

From his spot, the Scorpion Mutation had a dark grin on his face as he looked about the destruction that his new army had caused. While he was looking in a certain direction, he didn't notice that a painting of the dark spirit's eyes started to glow orange before a blast of magic came from them.

The magic extended from the painting and it struck the green Mutation from behind. The Scorpion Mutation grunted in pain as his soul was taken from him. Both his body and his soul screamed in pain as they were separated. His body continued to shake and the scorpion stinger fell from his wrist. The stinger fell into the sand as the Scorpion Mutation's body fell to the ground with a loud thud.

N.I.G.E.L. T.: His army went and returned to the sands from where they came.

The shadowy Mutation warriors continued to run through the streets before the disintegrated into black sand. One of the warriors gave one final roar before it turned to black dust and it fell to the ground.

N.I.G.E.L.:Where they wait to be awakened once again.

(End of track)

And N.I.G.E.L ended the story. None of H.E.A.T. said anything until Randy broke the silence with a, "Whoa."

"Could something like that really have happened?" Mendel asked, feeling a little worried. Elsie just shrugged and said, "Eh, we've seen crazier stuff happen in our lives."

"I don't think we really need to worry about something like this." Nick chuckled as they turned to leave. Monique was the last to leave the chamber and looked back to the final hieroglyph. Her eyes narrowed as she thought that the monster carved onto the rock looked very familiar.

Back outside the tomb, the H.E.A.T. team exited the structure after examining most of it. Not too far from the entrance, they saw Godzilla, their large reptilian companion, laying on the sand. The large reptile raised his head and turned to the approaching group. If they were a lot closer to the Mutation, they would have seen his eyes flash orange for a brief second.

Author's Note: I know that this one doesn't make a whole lot of sense, but it was the best that I could come up with. I'm just so happy to make another one of these. Maybe if I do something like the Japanese Godzilla or Legendary, I can do a bit better. But I did enjoy writing this. I look forward to reading your reviews. Be sure to leave a comment either about if I've done something wrong or if you want something specifically to happen. See you next time.
