A few Months have passed and Giyu has his own estate or rather just a small House, 2 weeks after becoming a Pillar , known as 2nd strongest of the three Pillars and now he's officially 14 years old which he just turned 1 week later and as such, living a life on his own. He is now in his own Hot springs and taking some time to relax. "Oh sabito, you would have loved this place, as you are seeing right now. Of course, we ended up fighting together only once to avenge Urokodaki sensei's students and make sure that mutated Demon isn't going to cause any rain of terror. This sure is going to be hard. *Breaths* oh Nee-san, if you were alive, you'd love this place...wait, im 14 now...there sure is something Nee-san would want me to find once I'm 14. I did brought everything from my house and transported them here so..i should look for it."
Later on and Giyu takes out a book that his sister wants him to have when he turns 14, it's about him to find a wife and start a family there's even a small box with a ring in it, it's his mother's ring. Giyu blushed a little, but never thought about it since his wish to protect humanity is strong, he got lost in thought, but since he just turned 14, it's not really too late to start on that little journey and he says "don't worry Nee-san, I'll find one eventually." 'Will i be able to be protect the one I'll love?' thought Giyu and he suddenly heard the voice of a woman he never heard of 'i'm sure you will.' Giyu turned around and saw there was nothing he started getting confused. But it sounded familiar.
"Caw! Pillar meeting in 1 hour!" Says Kanzabaru and Giyu nodded as he stands up and leaves. As time passed on, Giyu arrived at the headquarters with only half an hour left. Giyu sitting under a tree and Tengen and Gyomei having a talk, Until the same girl like last time Kocho Kanae arrived with her new golden buttons, Giyu immediately figured that she's becoming a Pillar, he stands up and begins leaning on the tree ans begins to observe. "Gyomei-san! Im here!" "Congratulations on being a Pillar Kanae. It's a blessing to see another pillar here." Says Gyomei which he began praying. "It's Flamboyant to see a new pillar every moment." Says Tengen and Kanae lays eyes on Giyu which he's watching the conversation and Kanae got excited to see him, she runs to him and yelled "Tomioka Giyu!" In such excitement and Giyu no longer leaning on the tree, standing up straight and saying "Kocho Kanae." Kanae's eyes started to shine, her smile becomes quite pure and she asked "Remember me?" "Of course, Recovery Training, sparring match and among other things, i recognise this haori every where." Says Giyu and Kanae blushes and smiles while having such excitement and said "i knew you would, and i recognise you with yours, it's like 2 haoris split and turned into one. It's quite unique." "Giyu replied "Leaving that aside, you're now a Pillar of Flowers, Congratulations." And Kanae asked "you know that flower breathing is an offshoot of water breathing, right?" Giyu nodded and says "it is." "So, Can we be..friends?" Asked Kanae who she seems nervous and Giyu "i don't see why not." Kanae got joy in her face and hugged Giyu "yaaaay!" Though Giyu feels comfortable with her, he feels warm and a little blush. A smell of flowers.
While Giyu and Kanae are talking and Tengen and Gyomei witnessing this and Tengen seemed to smile while being amused as he whispers "they seem to have a flashy chemistry." "She seems to Like him, and Tomioka is okay with her, so far. I pray for their happiness." Says Gyomei while he whispers until the Voice of Amane occurs "The master has arrived." They all kneel and Kagaya, with Gyomei says "good morning master, i pray for your health in Condition." "Thank you, my child. Now onto our meeting. We have a new pillar as you've met. Kocho Kanae, you may stand up, do you have something to say?" Says Kagaya and Kanae stands up "I'm honoured to be serving you as a pillar and to protect humanity as that and as a doctor." "That is good to hear, and since you are a doctor, you told me that your estate is also going to be a hospital for all slayers, that sure will be a promising thing for the corps. I hope you can do well at it." Says Kagaya and Kanae replied "Yes master, if anyone is injured, they'll have to make their way there as long as we have a lot of medical supplies." "Very well then, with that settled, meeting dismissed." Says Kagaya as he's being dragged by Amane inside. Tengen then says "well, that's some Flamboyant introduction." "Well, i say what i say." Says Kanae "Why not we go to a restaurant and have a Flamboyant celebration."
Later on Giyu with the others, in a restaurant and mostly eating Ramen and Giyu having both ramen and Daikon with salmon which he ended up smiled which Kanae liked alot. Tengen encouraging to drink sake but Giyu and Gyomei refused as much as Kanae isn't allowed. As time passes on as they all split up and now we have Kanae and Giyu Accompanying each other and Kanae ask "so, did you enjoy it!" "I did, both ramen and Daikon, it was good." Answered Giyu and Kanae is smiling spontaneously and saying "thats so nice, i never seen you smile alot. You should smile more, it looks good on you." "Thanks, I'll try...no promises." Says Giyu and Kanae seems to blush a little and says "ara ara, you seem shy then, it's okay. I don't blame you." As both paths are on separate as they split and waved good bye and returned to their estate.
Later on in the Butterfly mansion, Kanae on her bed and laying upside down, hiding herself from her pillow and saying "I hugged him, i managed to Talk to him, and his smile is so cute." Says Kanae while covering her face on her bed. 'I finally got to talk to him, he's so calm, so handsome, so nice, and as soon as I hugged him, i feel so warm. I wanna hug him even more. I'll have to wait for the right opportunity to confess him, he helped me with training during his life before being a pillar, and when ever i see him around. Even though he's quite, he's so cute. I wanna hug him, I'll have to bond with him to know more about him. I'll visit him and bring him Daikon Salmon, i wanna see him smile.' Kanae blushing while hiding her face on a pillow 'I think I'm in love.'
Next few weeks have passed with Kanae arriving at the waterfall estate and she knocked the door as Giyu opens it, and saw Kanae with a lunch box with her "im here to visit, i brought your favourite food." Giyu, without saying anything and gave her space to enter as Kanae understood what he meant, she could understand him without saying anything. As Giyu started eating, he smiled and Kanae felt happy and cheerful and Giyu started to feel very comfortable with her, she seems very happy with him. "Thank you kocho, it's really good." Says Giyu and Kanae felt her heart melt in such warm words. "It's what friends are for." Says Kanae and as she's nervous and decides to ask "Is it okay if i ask something about your past?"
Giyu finished eating "Well, Since you seem eager to talk to me, i don't mind...I once lived in my home village where its only me and my late older sister taking care of each." Says Giyu and Kanae felt sad and said "awww, Late? Im sorry for your loss." "It's okay, moving on. It was just me and my sister, she and i took care of each other, till later on my sister was supposed to get married when she was 15 and i was 11. Until a demon attacked our village, and many women wear devoured and my sister was on the list, it caught my sister, i tried stopping it but it threw me off and i got stuck from a shelf falling on me, and i was helpless as i watched my sister getting absorbed. And i fallen unconscious since i was hit very hard" Kanae begin to feel sad and giyu continued talking "by then, alot of people were crying and i was crying and screaming out the most that no one was able comfort me." Kanae begin tearing down as Giyu's tears falling out slowly as until "by then, i ran away and found myself with my teacher, Urokodaki Sakonji. He trained me alongside with a boy around my age named sabito and he and i became close, as my first real friend." "Real friend? You mean the one with the Peachy hair in the selection exam?" Asked Kanae who she seems curious "Yes, him and back in my village i endured those around my childhood age who played with my feelings. And i ended up getting social anxiety. But Sabito was able to help me overcome it." Says Giyu and Kanae says "awww, that's nice of him what happened next? I noticed that he died since i never saw him with you at the selection exam" Giyu answered "We had 2 years of training till we attended final selection, he died saving my life at the 7th day from a large mutating demon. And i ended up defeating it to make sure his sacrifice doesn't go in vein. He will always be my first friend. This haori is infact a memory for them." He says while pointing around his haori and Kanae was tearing and said, "Ohhh, thats so nice to keep it as a memory." "Thanks, i joined the corps to make sure no one suffers such pain as we did." Says Giyu and Kanae was blushing as she wiped her tears away "that's very thoughtful of you, i knew there was a kind heart from you being Calm." "Thanks." Says Giyu as Kanae gets up and says "well, i better get going, I'll visit you again some other days." Giyu waves and nodding as Kanae running away in speed. Giyu is now left alone, as he decided to make his way to the hot springs to ease himself from bringing up his past.
