Weeks or more have passed and Giyu got injured as he requested his master ordered him to receive treatment there while he's at it. He arrived at the butterfly mansion as he told his crow to inform kanae that he's coming. As Giyu is waiting outside, Kanae came from the entrance and excited "Tomioka-san! You're here, are you injured?" "Just a little." Replied Giyu and Kanae dragged him to her office. She began treating him as she assured him that this recovery will finish in a couple of days. "Well, in the meantime, you can come and visit my sisters." Says Kanae while smiling genuinely "How many do you have?" Asked Giyu "1 blood Sister, 2 adopted ones, come in" says Kanae as she leads him to a room as they see a little girl name Kanao, sitting and doing nothing While little Aoi brushing Kanao's hair. "Stay here, so we all can have dinner, Kanao, Aoi, we have a pillar as a guest. Think you can help me out will you?" As Giyu sits In front of Kanao with Aoi finished doing Kanao's hair as she says "a pillar as a guest, nice to meet you" "same goes for you." Says Giyu and she leaves saying "I'll go help Kanae-nee-san out." As she left with Giyu and Kanao all alone, staring at each other. Giyu tilted his head as Kanao does the same.

Until the three others arrived, Aoi, Shinobu and Kanae with tables and food arriving and ends up witnessing how these 2 are staring at each other. "Nee-san who is this idiot?" Asked Shinobu as both Giyu and Kanao faced to Shinobu at the same time as Giyu asked Shinobu "are you the adopted one?" This question left both Aoi and Kanae laughing out harder as Shinobu began to lose her temper and yelled "Excuse me?! What makes you think I'm adopted?!" As Giyu faced to Kanao as both stared at each "1 blood Sister and 2 adopted sisters. I could guess she is the blood one since she looks so much like her." Says Giyu while pointing at Kanae, who she is already dying of laughter and Aoi could not help but cry from laughter as Kanao and Giyu continued to stare at each other. "You no good excuse for a Pillar!" Asked Shinobu in such frustration and Giyu doesn't respond to her without hesitation replied "Kocho Kanao is her name right? Nice to meet you" Kanae couldn't stop laughing and Aoi was able to calm herself down from laughter and tears, Shinobu was about to say something but Kanae interrupted "now, now, Let's just get ready for lunch shall we?"

Later on that Giyu was informed that the little ones are adopted ones, Tsuyuri Kanao and Kanzaki Aoi, Kocho Shinobu as blood Sister. As they were about to start having lunch, Giyu and Kanao started staring at each other Kanae "time to eat!" As Giyu started eating as Kanao begins copying Giyu entirely when eating, synchronized eating. As such, Shinobu begins losing her mind of what else she's witnessing "what in hell am i witnessing?" "They're in perfect sync." Says Aoi as kanae could not help but smile. As both Giyu and Kanao finished their food at the same time, they continued staring at each other as Shinobu is losing her cool, Giyu tilted his head and Kanao does the same, He tilted his head to the other side as Kanao does the same and the girls seem surprised as Shinobu asked "are you going to say anything? This is getting on my nerves!" Giyu takes out a paper as he folds it around till he makes a origami butterfly, he ends up handing it to Kanao and she takes it and handles it carefully.

The girls were surprised of what just happened as Shinobu yelled and asked "How!?" Giyu faced Shinobu raising his eyebrow up and wondering "how what?" "How did you got her to make a decision, she can't make decisions of her own and she uses a coin to do So. We've been trying to get her to do it for Weeks! And you managed to do it after meeting Her?! How did you manage to do that when we Cant?!" Says Shinobu in such temper and Giyu casually replied "Skill issue?" That left a mark on Shinobu as she says "Why You?!-" "now now Shinobu, please smile, i like it when you smile." Says Kanae and Shinobu ends up leaving the room as Aoi could not even say anything but watch it all. Giyu faces to Kanao as he asked "hard time making decisions? What happened to her?" "She was sold away from her parents to slavery and she recieved a whole damage. She can't express herself." Says Aoi and Giyu looks into her eyes "i see what's happening then, she seems scared assuming she will get abused no matter what. Young Kanao, you are a free and more then welcome to express yourself.. you can live a life as a normal and simple girl.." kanao staring at him, and sweating a bit "...Just close your eyes" Kanao does so, and Giyu says "Breath in" Kanao breaths in "breath out" kanao breaths out as be says "now follow your heart and listen what is your heart is telling you." Kanao does so while closing her eyes until her tears comes out. The girls did expect to see her first expression, and she is crying. "Now open your eyes." Kanao opened her eyes as she stares at Giyu as he asked "Now tell me, Young Tsuyuri Kanao, what is it that you want?" Kanao tearing down as she answered "family...i want family." The girls did expect expect it at all, they never knew she was suffering this much in silence. "And here you have it, these sisters brought you in, considered you as family. Let go of the past, and have a future you really wish." Kanao was in tears as she stands up as she rushed to a dressing table. Giyu and the girls seemed confused as Kanao took out 2 papars , 1 was Kocho and the other was Kanao. Aoi, Kanae and Shinobu who was watching this could not believe this, "Kanao? You want Kocho as a last name?" Asked Kanae as she slowly has tears falling down as Kanao nodded who here eyes are shining out in such sadness and tears, "i want family, family." "Come here then, Kocho Kanao." Says Kanae as she opened her arms wide for a hug and the little kanao hugs her, crying into her, Shinobu rushed to them and hugging Kanao with Kanae as well in tears, Aoi joining in the hug and crying, and Giyu could not help but smile, as they stopped crying and separated from the hug slowly, Kanae faces to Giyu "Thank you Tomioka-san, i never thought you'd be this good for children." "It's how it is, you can tell someone's feelings just by staring at eachother's eyes, as such. The eyes are the Windows to a persons true feelings." Says Giyu and Shinobu says "Well, Not all of us can use Telepath!" As she walks away.

As Giyu stands up, And says "well, i better get going, so I'll catch you later." "Oh is it? But your injury." Asked Kanae, and Giyu assured her "oh don't worry, it's a minor injury as you stated so, I'll be at my estate at the hot springs, taking time to recover." And Kanae got surprised and asked "you have a hot springs?" And Giyu smiles as he says "of course, I take my time relaxing there whenever i return from missions...So, I'll be okay so i won't make you worry me." And little Kanao stands up and hugs Giyu "please visit more." Says Kanao and, giyu could help but caress her head and said "I will." As Kanao stops hugging him as Giyu leaves. As Aoi noticed that Kanae was blushing at giyu and Noticed some things but decided to keep it to herself.

2 months have passed as Kanae and Giyu are getting close as much as Giyu got close to the butterflies, Shinobu slowly got used to Giyu despite roasting her for her hot temper, Aoi and Giyu has developed a Sibling bond, and as such 2 little butterfly girls witnessing Giyu and Kanae at the garden and sparring with wooden swords, Kanae in her elegant attacks and Giyu in his unpredictable reflexes and defensive ways. As time passes, until "nee-san! We are running out of medicine equipment!" Says Shinobu as she interrupted the fight, Kanae Assured her "don't worry Shinobu, I'll go get there. Tomioka-san, wanna come with me?" Kanae asked Giyu while smiling "Sure." Says Giyu, as they both are close to Leaving until something pulled both their haoris, both faced and saw Kanao pulling and Aoi standing behind her and Kanao begins asking while sweating asking "can i come?" "Ara ara, yes. you can come. Aoi you want to come?" Asked Kanae as she answered "No, i have to stay here and help Shinobu-san out." And Kanae nodded as they Both her and Giyu left with little Kanao accompanying them. "Kanzaki seems to have a strong responsibility." Says Giyu as Kanae says "i know, she's a little tempered if you ask me." "Not really, it's her being strict. I could guess she doesn't want to feel useless." Says Giyu.

Moments passed as they are on the Village with little Kanao holding both Giyu and Kanae's hand and swinging herself as some glances are happening, some are whispering which Giyu and Kanae aren't hearing it. They all going around the street full of small stands and finding some medical supplies, Kanao start to feel tired of walking as Giyu ends up Carrying her, as Kanao lays her head on Giyu's right shoulder. "Tomioka-san, I found it, I'll go get some, think you can get something while I'm at it?" Kanae patting Giyu's left shoulder with Giyu and Kanao facing Kanae pointing towards the medical supplies area "I'll be here besides you, but I'll see what i can do." Says Giyu "fair enough, Watch over Kanao." Says Kanae while making her way to the medical shop as Kanao points towards some toy shop or a specific toy at least, Giyu faces what it is and Giyu asks "you wanna blow some bubbles?" Kanao nodded while feeling nervous and "okay then." He sets her down as Kanao goes to see a bubble blowing toy. He takes 5 of them as a large bubble soap. Kanao blushes in excitement, as he takes them. She raised her hand to Giyu, waiting for the bubble. "Patience Kanao, you'll blow it once we purchase it." Says Giyu as he smiled and Kanao nodded. "Here you go." Says Giyu as he gives money to the owner as he buys the bubbles

Meanwhile Kanae purchasing medicines and equipment as the Women as the shop owner "you have a lovely Daughter and a handsome husband." Says the owner who is pointing towards Giyu and Kanao. Kanae's went red as tomato and blushes as she says "oh please, he's a friend of my mine and she's my sister." As the woman sighs "understood, then again, I'm already seeing a Father and Daughter vibe between them." Kanae saw them at the toy shop and saw how they're so much like that with their dynamic. Both blowing bubbles together, causing a lot of attention of people whispering about this adorable Father and Daughter moment and she couldn't help but blush and smile. "Looks that way, is this what it feels like being a mother and a Wife?" Asked Kanae and the woman chuckled and says "as long as it makes you happy, if you love this man more then a friend then, You better go after him before it's too late." Kanae got all the equipment and supplies as she purchased and said "yes, thank you very much." And bowed to her.

As the three begin accompanying each other home with Kanao in between them and blowing her bubbles. "I see you got Kanao something." Says Kanae "Seems like a hobby of hers, since she wants it. I don't see why not." Said Giyu and Kanae looked away and blushed as how much attention their receiving, little Kocho Kanao is the centre of all.
