You're not the only one to put your hands together; Altria seems to have been impressed by the knife-throwing display as well, while Ayane is a bit slower to join in, and glances at the two of you briefly before doing so. Maybe she's just more used to seeing this sort of thing?

Regardless, your applause draws the attention of the family.

"Thank you," the father says, half-bowing. "I hope you enjoyed the show."

"Indeed we did," Altria replies.

"It was impressive," you admit.

A brief round of introductions follows. The father's identity is confirmed as Shiden, his wife's name turns out to be Ayame - that's going to be a little confusing - and their son is Hayate, who as it turns out will be in the Under Eighteens Division Finals tomorrow, assuming he wins one more match in the prelims, which are still ongoing. None of the family seem to doubt that he will advance - Kasumi says as much.

Incidentally, no family name is mentioned. You're starting to wonder if they even have one.

"Please," Shiden says, gesturing towards the bench opposite the one where his wife and daughter are seated, but also taking in a nearby table. "Make yourselves comfortable while we talk."

As you pick out your seating arrangements, Shiden turns to Ayane and says shortly, "Thank you, Ayane. That will be all."

She bows formally and turns to leave.

Do you want to say something?
