There's no question here; you made a promise to Altria, and you're going to keep it. Assuming that Kahlua and her family are here today, that is. You sit up straight, craning your neck to confirm whether or not the Shuzens are in the private seating area they were using yesterday.

"What are you doing?" Cordelia asks.

"Looking for the Shuzens." Specifically, looking for their rather distinctive collection of blonde, silver, red, and pink hair. There are some inconsiderate people blocking your view, however, so you have to leave your set and try stepping out of the aisle to get a look from a different angle.

"Why?"

"I told Altria I'd talk to them about some things."

Cordy frowns. "Why in the world would you do that? And watch where you're stepping!"

"Sorry. And it's because I was worried that Altria might have gone off hunting shadow-monsters on her own, and directing her to talk to a potential local expert seemed like a much safer alternative," you answer honestly. Ah, there they are. "Plus, we're warning the people we know to be on the lookout for dangerous, out-of-the-ring weirdness. Altria's probably already talking to Kasumi and her folks as we speak."

Your brunette companion sighs. "Fine. Go warn the pretty princess - but don't expect me to go with you."

Considering how Cordelia and Kahlua have been not-entirely-subtly clashing since they met, you really weren't anticipating her presence, but you avoid mentioning that. Instead, you say, "I'll be back by the end of the intermission," and head off. Briar zips after you.

There are a lot more people up and moving around this time than there were in the last break. You can only assume it's because of the length of time that most of them have been in their seats - the better part of three hours, with the twenty-four fights, previous break, and several delays. You're probably going to get to lunch a bit late today, if this trend keeps up. Anyway, with all the traffic in the halls, it might be quicker to take a different route to the Shuzens.
