Chapter 16

Aria's POV

I am in over my head Cleo knows about my secret it wouldn' be long now before the others did.

'Uhhg why is my life so difficult'

Cleo: Are you going to speak

I jump forgetting that she was beside me.

Aria: I'm thinking

Cleo: about what?

Aria (agitated): CLEO Stop talking!!

Aria (dead serious): you need to promise me that you will not speak of me being a mermaid or anything about mermaids to anyone. Ok?!

Cleo: fine!, I promise not to say a word

Aria (relaxing) good!

Seth's POV

Me and the rest of the pack are in Sam and Emily's house as Emily finishes up with breakfast.

Seth: do you know when Aria will wake up.

Sam: I don't know, Cleo hasn't come down yet either.

I am about to go check on Aria when the front for opens and a disgruntled looking Aria and Cleo walk in look not one bit like twins.

Aria's auburn hair catches the sunlight and with her hair messy it looks like fire, a fireball that is the centre of my universe.

Sam's POV

The front door opens and a dirty and disgruntled Cleo and Aria walk in. Cleo's pin straight hair is all over the place her shirt is torn in one spot and I could swear her clothes look damp.

Aria on the other hand.. well they both look like need a good rest and shower.

Sam: were have you two been?

Aria: I'm getting changed

Aria walks past me and up the stairs towards her room. Cleo waves and rushes after her. I hear the door close for Aria's room and some muffled talking.

Seth: so that we awkward, when do you think they left?, because I have a feeling it wasn't a morning walk.

Sam (sighs): I think that they left last night and are still keeping secrets.

Seth (excited): I'll talk to her later

I stare at Seth not entirely happy that he imprinted on my sister.

Later that night

Aria's POV

I sit on my bed with a cup of water in front of me, I raise my hand in a certain way causing the water in the cup to rise out of the cup in the shape of a ball I make the ball form into shapes, like a monkey, dog, snake and even a mermaid.

I concentrate on the mermaid then make it swim around my room, it looks so graceful- someone knocks on the door and I quickly return the water to the glass. Before picking up the cup and walking over to the door.

Aria (nervous): Hi Seth, did Sam send you up here to check on me?

Seth: Nope! I wanted to see you and talk.

Aria: ok well come in then.

I push open the door to let him into my room which like always is clean-except oh crap my diary!

I swiftly tuck it back under my pillow and sit down. Finishing my glass of water.

Aria: so what do you want to talk about?

Seth: anything really I want to get to know you better and I'll also tell you about wolf work.

That's not what I was expecting I thought he was going to ask about something related to this morning.

Aria: ok so I have lived in La-Push my whole life, I go the Forks high school, I love visual arts, Track, swimming, mythology. Now you tell me something.

Seth: about me or perks of being a wolf?

Aria: both!

Seth: humm ok. Well I was born in La-push I go to La-Push high school. I love sports, I like trying new foods, ohh and Cliff diving!

I raise an eyebrow at the last bit.

Seth: what! We do it, the pack for fun, our skin is tough and it doesn't hurt.

Seth: ok more about being a wolf. When you get angry you might phrase by accident. Your body temperature is always unatraly high. You are extra strong, oh and you develop a strong appetite.

Aria: wait that's so cool we should-

He cut me of before I could finish.

Seth: there is one thing about wolves that I think you're going to want to know.

Aria (interested): what is it!

Seth: Imprinting!

I raise an eyebrow

Seth: imprinting is a wolf thing it's kinda like love at first sight. When you see her your whole world shifts and she is all that matters.

Aria (Jealous): sounds like you know the feeling.

Seth: yes it was wonderful

I huff in annoyance why is he telling me about this stuff, to think I liked him. he's already taken. I get up to leave but he stops me.

Seth (whispers): Adriana Uley you are my imprint.
