Chapter 4: Fiery Personalities (Harry x Ginny)

"I suppose we'll be getting on with our next ship, right?" Dean Thomas said, shifting in his seat to get closer to Seamus Finnigan, his boyfriend. "Yes, Mr. Thomas. The next chapter is Chapter 3: Fiery Personalities."

The third ship is between Harry Potter and Ginny Weasley.

Many people made jealous noises at this, Harry was one of the most (if not the most) popular boys in school, so naturally many people had crushes on him. Even if Harry himself didn't like that much attention. Many people also made jealous noises because they were jealous of Harry. Because there was no denying that Ginny had become very beautiful over the years.

Michael just rolled his eyes, first Harry was ignoring him, then Harry didn't even come over to sit with him like he normally did, and now Harry somehow gets involved with this weird self-reading book, and Michael's supposed to just sit by and watch as he sees his boyfriend with someone else? No, thank you.

Harry Potter:

Harry Potter is a boy who is regarded by many as a timid, quiet, and reserved person, even with his celebrity status. He is quite friendly and shares some of his most personal feelings with his closest friends, but he doesn't share everything with anyone.

"Harry? What does it mean by that?" Ron asked if he knew that everyone had a right to privacy, and he respected that, but the way the book said it made it seem like there was a bad undertone to it. As if there was something that could hurt people or hurt Harry if he shared it with anyone…

Harry is secretive in many ways, but once you get to know him, his real fun, open personality shines through. He is like this due to many things, including his upbringing, natural personality, and the people he surrounds himself with.

"Harry," Michael whispered, having walked over to Harry, "Can we talk?" Harry looked up at the person he once considered the love of his life. "Why?" Harry asked, not bothering to whisper.

Michael looked around at the people looking at them before continuing to whisper, "We just need to talk. In private." Harry looked at Michael, and seeing the desperation in Michael's eyes gave in. "Fine. We can talk," Harry got up, weaving past people as he led them outside to speak privately.

When Ron and Hermione sent Harry confused looks, he sent them back a look that told them they would talk about it later.

[IMAGE SHOWS HARRY BEING FORCED TO SERVE THE DURSLEY FAMILY AS THEY SIT AROUND THE TABLE, EATING FOOD WITH DISGUST ON THEIR FACES AS THEY LOOK AT HARRY.]

Many people looked at the people surrounding Harry in disgust, "Why does it look like the people surrounding Harry are making him serve them?" Ginny asked, trying to hold in her anger and shock. No one could answer the Gryffindor, everyone was just thinking of what this image could mean for Harry and his past.

Throughout Harry's childhood, he was mistreated, starved, and abused by the Dursleys due to his Aunt's jealousy of Lily, her sister. Petunia, since childhood, has always been jealous of Lily's magic and friends and took out that pent-up anger on Harry.

"Those bit-" "Neville!" "How could they- how could they do that? To Harry!" Ron was appalled, he, among many others, had never even considered the possibility of Harry being abused. Even after that one incident in second-year…

"We will need to talk to Mr. Potter about this once he returns and we are finished with this chapter," McGonagall stated, though she also was thinking about the signs that she could have missed that would have clued her into the abuse Harry suffered.

[A BABY HARRY IS HOLDING A BROOMSTICK WITH A QUIDDITCH UNIFORM ON WITH AN OWL ON HIS ARM.]

Despite the heavy atmosphere, many people cooed at seeing a child Harry wearing Quidditch gear, even though it wasn't real.

Even though Harry had a rough childhood, he became a better person because of it, showing his true character. He found many of his favorite activities at Hogwarts, including Quidditch. While he has found many good things in Hogwarts, he has also been constantly hunted down by Voldemort, the Dark Lord.

The temporary light feeling that was going around at the mention of Harry's Quidditch career diminished greatly at the mention of Voldemort and his threat to Harry's life. "We're going to protect Harry. You know who isn't going to hurt him anymore. We'll make sure of that."

[HARRY IS STANDING WITH HIS QUIDDITCH UNIFORM ON, WAND OUT, AS VOLDEMORT'S FACE IS FADED INTO THE CLOUDS BEHIND HIM.]

"This just shows that Harry can, and will, stand up to Voldemort. No matter what," Dumbledore said, making many people question why Dumbledore was relying on Harry so much when Dumbledore had faced off against Voldemort before.

[THREE VERSIONS OF HARRY ARE SHOWN, EACH WITH A DIFFERENT OUTFIT ON. THE FIRST HAS THE UNDERSHIRT AND PANT OF HARRY'S QUIDDITCH UNIFORM ON WITH A HARNESS AROUND HIS SHOULDERS, MAKING HIM HAVE THE STEREOTYPICAL "ENGINEER" LOOK. THE SECOND HAS HARRY'S QUIDDITCH UNIFORM ON. THE THIRD HAS A WAISTCOAT ON WITH A COAT ON.]

A couple of the Gryffindor boys wolf-whistled, seeing Harry in that muggle engineering-type outfit.

Harry has shown his perseverance and character throughout all of the adversities that he had to face in life.

"Harry truly is remarkable, surviving all that, and still smiling…" Hermione said, getting many nods in agreement. "Yeah, blimey, I know I wouldn't have made it this far without Harry. He's my best mate," Ron admitted, not surprising a lot of people. Harry and Ron were always together. Harry and Ron were friends before even Hermione joined their group.

Ginny Weasley:

Many of Ginny's friends cheered at the mention of her name, they all wanted to know what the book had to say about their friend.

Ginny Weasley is the youngest Weasley child and the only daughter of the family. She often feels as though her brothers don't treat her as they treat each other, and that they are unfairly treating her as if she is more fragile than her older brothers, just because she's a girl.

"What? Do you feel that way, Ginny?" Percy asked, and many people could tell that even though he was trying to act as if he didn't care, he was worried about his sister.

"I mean… sometimes, yeah," The youngest Weasley quietly admitted, getting frowns from her brothers. "You should have told us, Gin, we would have done something about it," Ron said, getting up from where he was sitting to go closer to Ginny.

"I just- I don't know…" Ginny couldn't find the right words to describe how she felt about the situation. "How about we talk more about this after the chapter's over? That way we have plenty of time to get into the details of how you've been feeling," Fred suggested, though maybe it was George. "Alright, yeah, that sounds good," Ginny said, feeling relief that she didn't have to talk about it in front of the entire Great Hall.

Despite this, Ginny is a very smart, bright, and kind person, who sometimes has a bit of a temper. She is a very powerful witch who doesn't put up with anyone disrespecting her or her friends. Some of her friends include Luna Lovegood, Neville Longbottom, Hermione Granger, Harry Potter, Aquila Black, Maisie Cattermole, and Ophelia Brown.

The friends of Ginny who were mentioned beamed with happiness at being included in who the magical book considers Ginny's closest friends. They were proud of being friends with Ginny, and there was no doubt about it.

[GINNY IS WEARING CASUAL CLOTHES UNDER A QUIDDITCH JACKET, ONE HAND PUSHING HER HAIR OUT OF HER FACE WHILE HER OTHER HAND HOLDS A QUAFFLE NEAR HER HIP.]

Many girls and guys blushed at seeing Ginny dressed in a crop top. Ginny, like many students, only wore casual clothes on the weekends, and even then those clothes usually looked nothing like this. "You look good in that, Ginny," Luna said, smiling at her friend. Ginny just blushed in response.

Ginny was raised with her Quidditch-loving brothers, so she very early on learned to love the sport. She always practiced as much as her brothers would allow her. Ginny loves all her family members, but the one she was closest to is her father, Arthur Weasley. Whenever Ginny had a problem, whether it was with her brothers or Ginny just needed advice, she would go to her father.

"Awww! It's nice to know that you were that close to your father!" Lavender Brown said, already picturing how cute young Ginny would be. Meanwhile, the other Weasley siblings just smiled, glad that Ginny was able to go to their father about important things like that, even if it usually led to them getting in trouble.

[GINNY IS SITTING ON A CHAIR, LOOKING DOWN AT SOMETHING ON A TABLE, AS ARTHUR WATCHES OVER HER SHOULDER, LOOKING AT WHAT SHE IS DOING AS HE SAYS, "It's amazing". YOU CAN SEE THE AFFECTION ARTHUR HAS FOR HIS DAUGHTER IN HIS EYES.]

One particular adult, Arthur Weasley himself, was tearing up. As Ginny was his only daughter, he had always expected that she would be closer to Molly. But as she grew up, it became clear pretty fast that wasn't true. Ginny was her father's girl, through and through.

Ginny is not to be underestimated, and she makes that plenty clear with how she demonstrates her magic and power in class and otherwise.

"That's true, Ginny is quite a powerful witch for her generation," McGonagall complemented, "Thank you, Professor," Ginny said, blushing in embarrassment.

[THE PICTURE SHOWS GINNY, PRESUMABLY NAKED, FROM THE COLARBONE UP WITH HER HAIR DOWN ON HER SHOULDERS.]

Ginny just started blushing even more at seeing this picture of her, as you could tell she was nude in it. Ginny was just glad that the picture was cut off before you could see her chest area.

"Ginevra Weasley! That picture is very inappropriate! I forbid you from taking another picture like that in the future so long as you live under my roof!" Molly said, not so much mad at Ginny, as she knew Ginny couldn't control what pictures Lady Hecate showed. She just didn't want her daughter to feel ashamed that people knew what she looked like without clothes on.

"Yes, Mother…" Ginny whispered, blushing almost as red as her hair. Luna walked over and whispered something in Ginny's ear, somehow making her blush even more.

[A PICTURE OF GINNY IN A BLACK DRESS, LOOKING AT THE CAMERA WITH A WHITE FLOWER IN HER HAIR.]

"Well that was interesting… let's just move on, now…" Ginny said, wanting to get done with this chapter.

Harry x Ginny:

This couple is made of two kind, compassionate, and fiery people. So together they can be both the sweetest and fiercest people in the world. They complement each other so nicely that no one can deny they would make a good couple.

"I mean, Harry and I are quite close, but we're good as friends, and nothing more. There is no romantic relationship between us, only friendship," Ginny explained, figuring she should just get it out of the way, as Harry wasn't here to tell his side of the story.

Many of the Hogwarts students nodded, understanding Ginny and Harry's interactions and relationship.

[HARRY IS SITTING BEHIND GINNY, WITH HIS HEAD RESTING ON HER SHOULDER, EYES CLOSED, AS GINNY LOOKS BACK AT HARRY, LOVE IN HER EYES.]

"That's a very cute picture, but unfortunately it could never happen," Ginny explained again as she saw many people giggling and whispering to each other, about Merlin knows what. "Don't worry-" "Little sis-" "We'll make sure-" "People know who-" "You're dating," Fred and George said, and many people became worried for their safety at seeing the mischievous glint in their eyes.

"Thanks, Fred, George," Ginny said, laughing a little.

[HARRY IS LIFTING GINNY UP AS THEY KISS, BOTH WITH THEIR EYES CLOSED.]

Ron just stared at the screen. Even though Ginny had already explained that she and Harry weren't together, and wouldn't ever be, he still felt the need to glare at the picture of Harry, kissing his little sister.

[HARRY IS LAYING DOWN ON HIS BACK ON FLOWERS IN THE WOODS, WITH GINNY LAYING DOWN ON TOP OF HIM. THEY BOTH ARE LAUGHING, LOOKING INTO EACH OTHER'S EYES.]

"Quite a beautiful setting," Luna said, hoping to find a field of flowers like that for her to take more photos of. "Yes, it is," Neville agreed, "I think that's the end of the chapter, so we should be taking a break now."
