Loki walked into the living room of the Avengers tower, intent on spending the day with the little Spiderling that Stark had recently introduced him to. They had clicked immediately, Loki being able to see the mischievous spirit that the boy had deep, down inside.

Under his mentoring and guidance, Peter would learn to let loose the mischief in him. This weekend was prime time to start implementing his new plan. Walking down the hallway towards the Spiderling's room, Loki stopped when he heard raised voices coming from the boy's room.

"Ugh! He's just- he just- it sucks, not being able to stand up to him because if I do, I could go overboard, and that would be even worse." Overboard? What was Peter talking about?

Loki walked closer to the door, intent on listening to this conversation more to figure out just that.

"Are you sure you wouldn't be able to control yourself and your powers?" A female voice–that Loki was able to identify as Wanda–asked Peter. There was silence for a moment, which Loki attributed to Peter shaking his head no once he continued, "I haven't been able to train with my powers enough to really get full control over them in high-emotion situations like that. And I won't risk it."

Loki still did not know why the Spiderling was talking about holding back his powers.

"I mean after what you said he did to you, I'm sure no one would blame you for lashing out, or not being able to hold back anymore. Flash, has it coming, trust me." Wanda said, her tone sympathetic.

Flash. So that was who was behind the Spiderling's frustrations. Loki didn't know who would name their child Flash of all things, but that wasn't Loki's problem. As he listened to Peter and Wanda more, Loki learned all about what Flash had done to Peter.

As Peter had explained to Wanda, Flash was normally annoying, but today he took it to another level. Before classes started in the morning, Flash slammed Peter into his locker. During his morning bullying session, Flash was rougher than usual. The starting push into the lockers cut his cheek, and it had actually bled a bit before Ned put a band-aid on it.

Loki fought hard not to growl when he heard this. How could some bully have the right to touch and harm Peter? They didn't. That was the answer.

Peter continued to say that Flash harassed him and would not leave him alone until they had to go to separate classes. Flash punched Peter in the middle of his back when he left that class, which Loki thought was a rather underhanded move.

To hit someone from behind, where they were most vulnerable and could not protect themselves was a move that was highly frowned upon on Asgard. It was a cowardly move and certainly did not put Flash in any kind of good graces for Loki.

Not that he would ever be in Loki's good graces, to begin with, but that was beside the point.

Peter finished his story by explaining that after school, Flash had cornered him outside the Midtown gates, pouring his water bottle out all over Peter's head. His clothes, backpack, and school supplies got all soaked by the water, leaving him freezing in the New York winter cold.

So Peter was left almost freezing to death in the winter chill as he walked around the block to Happy's car, where he was waiting to take Peter back to the Avengers compound.

Peter had thankfully been able to warm up pretty quickly in Happy's high-tech car, leaving no lasting damage to Peter or his body. Loki was relieved to hear that but was still furious. Flash would learn his lesson, one way or another.

Loki used his godly powers to track down Flash, the kid not living far from Midtown. When Loki got to the kid's house, he quickly tracked down which room in the large house belonged to Flash. In his search, he learned that Flash's real name was Eugene. No wonder the kid went by Flash.

Barging into the bully's room, he took Flash by surprise. Flash screamed when he saw Loki. "Come here you little shit," Loki said in a gruff voice as Flash scrambled in the opposite direction, away from Loki.

Loki trailed after the kid, cornering him so that he could not escape. "Apparently you need to learn a lesson. Do you think it's okay to pick on somebody else? That you can injure and almost kill a fellow classmate and get away with it?"

Flash took a minute to process this before shaking his head frantically, "No, no, no, of course not! I would never-" Loki cut Flash off. "Don't lie to me. Just how stupid are you?" Flash didn't respond, instead just staring at the angry god until Loki leaned forward and grabbed him.

"Wha- what are you doing?" Flash didn't bother keeping the shock out of his voice. "What do you think I'm doing? Taking you to learn your lesson." The color drained out of Flash's face, leaving him as pale as a ghost.

On the roof of the Avengers Tower, Loki stood casually, holding Flash by one ankle to his left. Loki had thought of this plan pretty quickly when he left the tower to track down Flash, and he was pretty proud of it.

Not only would Flash's life flash before his eyes (hehe, get it?). Multiple times. But Loki would also get the enjoyment that came from torturing and dangling someone over the edge to their deaths. Quite literally in this case.

Loki held onto Flash's ankle tightly as he thrashed around in his hold, for some reason thinking that he could take Loki all on his own, which was highly amusing for the god. Not only did he get to punish the kid for hurting the Spiderling, but he also got to have some entertainment at the same time.

He had spent the last half an hour holding the kid there, making Flash tell him exactly what he had done, and why it had been wrong. Finally satisfied, he decided to have a bit of fun.

Loki waited a moment, holding Flash in the air before letting go. The kid screamed bloody murder as he fell. Loki let out a little chuckle, letting the kid fall for a bit longer before snapping his fingers, stopping him midair.

"Now, I know you won't ever pick on Peter again, right?" Loki asked in a menacing tone. Flash gulped, "Yes, yes, just please let me down." Loki raised an eyebrow, about to let him fall again for poor choice of words but decided against it. He had traumatized the kid enough today.

He took a deep breath, then brought the kid home. No one seemed to have noticed he was gone, though it had been less than an hour since he took him.

Loki had a proud smirk as he walked back into the tower, ignoring his brother's questioning look. He knew his brother would do–almost–the same as he did for the Spiderling.
