Ozpin just stares at Roger who just smiles at him "You're not serious." Ozpin says getting Roger to laugh "Did you even tell Garp?".
Roger just chuckled "He was the first few I told." Roger says but starts to cough a bit "I don't have long and SHE knows it." he says with a bit of a smile.
Ozpin grimaced "Does your wife knows?" Roger didn't say anything just kept a smile albeit a sad one "Maybe we can ask General Sen-" "That won't help Ozzy." "But we can't just wait for you to just die!" Ozpin shouts as his slam his hands onto the table, trying his hardest to hold back his tears.
Roger just smiled "Ya know during my travel I came across a unique little girl in Menagerie she says that someone great is going to be born, that person will take back the world and free it from the Grimms." Roger says getting Ozpin to look up confused "That person might be my own kid, or maybe there will be someone out there who will finally take that title." Roger smiles as Ozpin just stares "It's a shame really, I would really like to meet that kid..."
(Present day Beacon)
Luffy opened his eye and yawned, Luffy sits up wearing his normal outfit hat and all as he looked around confused.

"Oh right I'm at Beacon." Luffy says as he smack his palm with his fist before smiling widely "I'M AT BEACON!" Luffy shouts earning him a few pillows and groans around him chuckling an apology Luffy moved stood up and felt his stomach rumble "Yosh, time for breakfast!" Luffy says as he took one step on a still sleeping Zoro.
Zoro WAS sleeping peacefully until an excited Luffy decides to wake him up by accident "Oof! Grr Luffy!" Zoro snaps as he sits up glaring at his friend.
Luffy just chuckles "Sorry, hey lets go get some grub!" Luffy says as he grabs Zoro who protested a bit before he was dragged off.
"Stop dragging me around!".
The commotion woke up many stubborn sleepers getting many to groan, giving up going back to bed they got to doing their own morning rituals, one of them being a skinny long nose tanned skinned teen who gave a loud yawn he's wearing a white shirt with yellow shorts. And as he got up to fold his sleeping bag he was bowled over by an orange haired girl with aqua eyes singing that it is morning.
Said girl is a fair skinned teen wearing a collared black sleeveless vest, with a blue central front section with red accents, her vest has her emblem, on the back. Under the vest, she wears a white sleeveless t-shirt with a heart-shaped cutout above her breast line in the center accompanied with a pair of white detached sleeves on each arm, and a pair of light pink fingerless gloves. She sports a short pink skirt with a single white layer under it. Her white ankle boots sport pink soles with part of her emblem, the lighting bolt, on them and low heels with pink laces, the tops are folded over revealing the pink lining. She also wears a silver armor piece that wraps around waist, under her breasts and around the back on her neck with metal connecting each piece together at the front, and on the back of her skirt she has a turquoise bow.
"I can't believe we've been at Beacon for a full twenty-four hours! Not that I thought we'd get kicked out or anything, I mean, you're the perfect student and I'm... well, I'm me! But it's just crazy, you know?" the girl starts to ramble as a tired looking boy sits up and got to tidy up his and his companions things.
He's a young man with long black hair that ends midway down his back. There is a magenta streak on the left side of his hair. His eyes match the streak in his hair. Like Luffy he wore his regular clothes to sleep, he wears a dark green, diagonally-buttoned, long-sleeved tailcoat that is red on the inside, with black and gold trimming and pink cuffs. The trimming goes down the right side of his torso and forms a black collar. Along with this, he wears a black, long-sleeved shirt beneath the suit and light-tan pants. After he finished packing he put on his black shoes and making his way to the rest room.
"We've been friends for soooooooo long! What are the odds we'd still be together? Well, not "together-together..." Not that I'm not saying that you're not handsome; you are handsome, but that'd just be weird, right?" The girl continue to ramble on as she follow the boy leaving the long nose teen to stare.
"Sheesh, I feel sorry for that guy." The teen says as he dust himself and grabbing his things "Better get dressed and get breakfast, after all a brave huntsman like myself must be well fed if I want to be a great hunter! Wahahaha!" the teen laughs as he saunters off to change clothes.

(Beacon Cafeteria)
At the cafeteria many people were gawking and some just lost their appetite as they watched Luffy stuffing his mouth with almost everything on the menu and he isn't doesn't seem to stop.
"Wow kid got quite an appetite." Yang says as she walked in with her sister who was pouting a bit "How can he eat so much?" she asked.
Zoro who was sitting there drinking some tea "No clue and I've been with him for about a month." he noticed Ruby looking a bit down "What's up with her?".
Yang looked to her sister and smiles a bit "Oh she's just grumpy because I won't let her have cookies for breakfast." Ruby just puffed her cheeks.
Zoro shrugs before getting up "Well gotta go to the restroom." he says before noticing both girls looking at his chest "What? Are you gonna make a fuss about my chest too?".
Ruby blushed at being called out while Yang just smiles "Nah, as much as I want to ask what your exercise routine is, I'm just curious about your scar." she says as she points to Zoro's still shirtless chest with Ruby nodding.
Zoro sighs "It's nothing you should be worried about." he said as he made his way out.
(Hallway)
As Zoro made his way to what he thinks is the restroom he felt a bump on his chest "Kya!" Zoro looked down and sees Weiss with her hand covering her mouth blushing a bit "I'm sorry I wasn't looking." Weiss looked up and saw Zoro "Oh Zoro my apology." Zoro just raised a brow.
"It's fine just looking for the restroom." Zoro says as he scratched his head before noticing her staring "What's wrong?".
Weiss snapped out of it as she blushed a bit "Sorry I was just wondering how you got those scar?".
"It nothing you should worry about." Zoro says but looking at Weiss looking a bit down while rubbing a dainty finger on her own scar getting him to sigh "I'll tell you how I got it if you tell me how you got yours." he says getting Weiss to look surprise.
"T-That sounds acceptable." Weiss says as she touched her scar she hesitate a bit but breath in to calm herself "My father was against me coming to Beacon, he was against me being a huntress to begin with, but coming to Beacon is something he was adamant on.".
Zoro looked confused "Why is he against you being in Beacon?" Zoro asked but seeing a tired look on her face got him somewhat curious about it.
"If you didn't know I'm a Schnee meaning I come from Atlas." Zoro nods not that he knows what her surname has to do with it, Weiss continues "My family has a lot of influence in the kingdom, my father has a lot of friends there so he can pull any string to make sure I would give up, go home and be his perfect doll…" Weiss says looking down before looking up determined "But I was determined to go to Beacon, not only is it the school that trained many great huntsmen, it is also the furthest place my father's influence could reach and he fought me all the way until he decided to give me one chance." Weiss grimace from the memory "If I was willing to fight my father to coming here than he is going to give me something to fight.".
Zoro stayed silent as he listen as Weiss recompose herself "If I want to go to Beacon I must fight a specialized Grimm that was placed into a giant suit of armor it was called Arma Gigas, how he got it I have no idea nor am I interested in finding out, not yet anyway." she mumbled the last part as she looked to Zoro "Luckily my sister Winter was paying a visit and took it upon herself to personally train me and prepare me for the test." she says with a hint of pride in her voice.
"But as much as she could train me we don't have much time and she has to leave so when the time came I wasn't at my best." Weiss admitted as she grabbed hold the hem of her skirt "Though not complete it would do, so I fought, I used everything Winter taught me and I will admit I made some wasted move and was a little sloppy." She touched her scarred brow "And that sloppiness hit me and left this scar, if it weren't for my aura taking the brunt of the attack I wouldn't be surprised I would lose my head." Weiss says before giving an angry look "It was a bit fuzzy but I can still make out my father LOOKING pleased not because I was beaten but because HE was right, it was all about HOW right he is and that look frustrated me." Weiss stops to breath in to calm herself "So as Uncle once said to me and I quote "nothing feels better than smacking the smug look of a pricks face".".
Weiss says before blushing a bit "And I would be lying if I say he wasn't right because once I manage to defeat the Arma Gigas the look on my father's face is something I would never forget." Weiss finished as she tries to hide a proud smile before looking to Zoro and smiled "And that is how I got my scar, now that I have told my story it's time you tell me yours." She says getting Zoro to sigh.
"I guess." Zoro than leaned against the wall "To really explain how I got my scar I guess I have to start from the beginning." Zoro than closed his eyes a bit reminiscing on his past "There was a small dojo in a remote village called Shimotsuki village.".
"Is that where you came from?" Weiss asked but Zoro shakes his head.
"I wasn't born there, I just stumbled on the town, I don't remember who my parents were not that it mattered." Zoro shrugs but Weiss looked a bit apologetic "Don't." he says before Weiss could say anything "It's in the past and there was nothing you could do so you don't need to say sorry or whatever for it." he says getting her to ponder on it before nodding Zoro sighs as he continues "Anyway, that is where I met Kuina someone who I consider my closest friend and rival." Zoro says giving a bittersweet look.
Weiss seeing him giving that look got her feeling strange but decided to ignore it as she waits for him to continue "She was the strongest student in the dojo, only the adults could keep up with her during sparring but could never beat her, she was also the one who beat the hell out of me when I was dojo crashing." Zoro says as he smiles a bit at the memory getting Weiss to sweatdrop at the info "Since I was a brat that hates losing especially to her, I stuck around basically lived there perfecting my two sword style hoping to improve my chances of beating her but every time I lost, out of our 2001 matches I lost every one.".
Weiss looked surprised but also sweatdrop at the amount "Really? 2001 matches and you lost every one?" she can't help but say.
Zoro didn't look offended but he did lose his smile "Well she's the best swordswoman in the village so it wasn't that surprising, and being a brat who hates to lose you could say I just don't know how to give up." Zoro says with a smile getting her to smile as well "But on our 2001st match it would be my last fight with her and even then I couldn't win." Zoro says with a sad look.
Weiss looked concern "What happened? Why was it the last one?" she asked did Kuina leave or did something else happened?
Zoro looked up "She died the next day." Weiss gasped as she covered her mouth "Our last match we used real blades, no practice shinais just real steal, real weight and real danger. One mistake could take the others life, one careless move would put one of us in danger and one decisive strike to end it all, that sense of danger shows how committed to the blade we were and I lost, she knocked my swords out of my hands and pinned me with her blade stabbing next to my head." Zoro sighs hating remembering that day but remembering what happened after caused his eyes to flicker red "Though I lament on how weak I was she also felt like she wants to cry, saying how lucky I was for being a boy and I will only grow stronger the older I get while she will get left behind.".
Weiss looked appalled at the idea and as she was about to reply but Zoro cuts her off "I call that an excuse. Hearing that nonsense from someone who beat me 2001 times saying how lucky I am, pisses me off, she was my goal she was what I trained to beat and we both hold the same dream. Being the strongest." Zoro looks up as Weiss looked stunned as Zoro glare forward as if seeing something far out into a future he's striving for "So we vowed to each other both of us holding our blades we vowed to reach the top and challenge the world strongest." Weiss just stared and a little envious at how passionate Zoro is for his goal "But she died.".
Zoro closed his eyes "I didn't know about it until the next morning where I was training, she was finding a wet stone to sharpen her sword but it was up the stairs and she slipped." Zoro fought back a snarl "They found her dead with her sword and wet stone next to her." Zoro opened his eyes seeing the pitying eyes in Weiss's eyes Zoro sighs as he continues "At the time I felt like she ran from our promise but the longer she was gone the more I saw it was just an unlucky accident, it wasn't fair to her. So I decided to take hers as well, I asked her father the head of the dojo to give her sword to me and now I carry it with me along with our vow." Zoro says as Weiss just listened "Once I was old enough to look after myself I went to the mountain to train and have no idea where the village was so I started to wonder around." Weiss just sweatdrop at that though he couldn't see it "A lot has happened during those 2 years and along the way Luffy found me." Zoro smirked a bit.
Zoro than looked up frowning "Than I found him a month ago the strongest swordsman in the world, the man with the Hawk eyes.".
Weiss pondered until she remembered her father raging after one person decline his offer, she asked Klein and he told her about "Dracule Mihawk? You actually fought THE Dracule Mihawk?" she looked surprise knowing how dangerous he was "How did you even survive?" she said until she saw his scar "That's how you got your scar." Weiss eyes widen in shock.
Zoro just smirked "Yup, now that you got the picture I gotta go find a shirt." Zoro says as he made his way…..to where he came from.
Weiss who was stunned now sweatdropped and with a sigh of her own she grabbed him and walked to where he was going "It's this way you dunce." she says though there is a bit of jest in her voice while Zoro arched a brow as she drag him to the restroom "Though I was wondering why were you shirtless?".
"The wrapping was itching so I took it off." Zoro says getting Weiss to stop.
"Your scar did heal right?" Weiss asked feeling he was going to say something stupid.
Zoro just looked dismissive "Dunno it was just in the way." he said and then was jerked by Weiss causing him to wince from the sudden pain on his chest "Hey! Where are you dragging me to?".
"The infirmary you dolt! What were you thinking taking off your bandages!? Stitches can only hold so much!" Weiss scolded as she pulled a confused Zoro who sighs as he listen her berate him for being a dunce or a dunderhead and so on.
(later at the Locker room)
"What if we bribe the headmaster? No, that won't work. He has the school." The hyper orange haired girl said and shot down as she thinks about guaranteeing her pair up with her friend who so happen to be a boy "I know! We'll have some sort of signal! Like a distress signal!" she then gasp at her own idea while the teen in green grabbed his two green machine pistols equipped with collapsible blades and extended magazines which is then stored into his sleeves "A secret signal so we can find each other in the forest! Can you imitate a sloth?" she then turns to her close friend but not that close but still really close.
The tired teen sighed "Nora?".
Nora turned to her close but not close friend who just so happen to be a boy "Yes, Ren?" she tilts her head as she listen to her boy (space) friend.
Ren then looked to her "I don't think sloths make a lot of noise." he says as he smile at Nora.
Nora thought about it for a bit before looking up with a smile "That's why it's PERFECT! No one will suspect we're working together!" she said excited by her own plan.
Ren just shook his head a little amused "Come on Nora, lets go." he says as he walked off with Nora following.
Nora with a barely noticeable blush ran after Ren "Not "together-together…" cause we're just friends!" says trying not to hide her feelings behind her giggles as she skipped alongside Ren who just walked passed a confused Ruby, Yang and Luffy who just watched the strange pair.
"What's up with them?" Luffy says as he turns to the sisters who shrugs.
"Who knows?" Yang then looked to her sister who is cradling her Crescent Rose "So, you seem awfully chipper this morning!".
Ruby smiles as she looked to her friends "Yep! No more awkward small talk or "getting-to-know-you" stuff. Today, I get to let my sweetheart do the talking." she says as she hugs her weapon.
Luffy got close to Ruby getting her to eep "Your weapon can talk? That's so cool!" Luffy exclaim getting her to blush at how close he got.
Yang snorts a chuckle as she pulled Luffy away from her little sis "It doesn't talk Luffy." she said smirking at him who pouts a bit but let it go when he notice someone behind her, she let him go as she looked to her sister "Well, remember, Ruby, you're not the only one going through initiation." she gave her sis a look "If you wanna grow up, you're gonna have to meet new people and learn to work together." she lectured.
Ruby having calmed down groaned "You sound like Dad!" she then holstered her baby "Okay, first of all: What does meeting new people have to do with fighting? And secondly: I don't need people to help me grow up! I drink milk!" she puffed her chest out.
Yang just raised a brow "But what about when we form teams?".
Ruby suddenly got nervous as she fidget in place "Um, I don't know, I... I'll just be on your team or something…" she asked as she gave her sister a hopeful look.
Yang starts to stroke her own hair "Maybe you should try being on someone else's team?" she says as she looks back and notice Luffy ran off to talk with Zoro who is now wearing his white shirt "Like Luffy and Zoro?".
Ruby gave Yang a look "My dear sister Yang, are you implying that you do not wish to be on the same team as me?" Ruby asked accusingly.
Yang looked a little flustered as she avoid her sister's eyes "What? No! Of course I do! I just thought... I don't know, maybe it would help you... break out of your shell!".
Ruby looked appalled "What the-?! I don't need to 'break out of my shell'! That's absolutely-" "-Ridiculous!" Both sisters turn to see Jaune walking past scratching his head as he looked at the paper in his hand.
"There's no way I put my gear in locker 636 yesterday! I would've remembered having to count that high!" Jaune than sighs slumping abit "Why does this have to happen today?" he said before bumping into another teen who yelped from the sudden contact "Oh! Sorry about that, just trying to find my locker." Jaune apologize as he scratched his head before noticing the teens weird appearance.
"Nah it's fine, it's not like I got hurt, though for someone as great as me this is nothing."The long nose teen boasts now wearing an olive green bandanna over his curly hair with a pair of goggles resting above his brows, brown overalls over a yellow short sleeve shirt, white belt around his waist, a blue and white striped arm band on his left arm and a pair of light brown boots, he raised his arms for a shake "They call me the great Captaaaiiinnn Usopp!" he says proudly.
Jaune just looked confused "Uh, yeah." he then shook his hand "I'm Jaune." he says before looking down at his paper "Uh, hey do you know where I can find locker 636?" he asked.
Usopp looked down at the paper before giving Jaune a deadpanned look "It says 6'36 it's in row six that way." Usopp points back where they can see another row of lockers with a glowing 6 sign above it.
Jaune just facepalm not realizing that the lockers are in separate rows "Thanks." with a sigh Jaune walked over to find his actual locker.
Once Jaune found his locker breathing a sigh of relief he notice that cute girl in white looking for someone Weiss if he remembered right.
Weiss huffed looking for Zoro one moment he was with her the next he just up and disappears "Now where did that dolt run off to." she mumbled before noticing THE Pyrrha Nikos the Sanctum champion herself! She really did come to Beacon….This is perfect if she can befriend her and establish a partnership than her time in Beacon would be set, with a goal in mind Weiss sauntered confidently to the Sanctum champion who was busy holstering her weapons being red short sword with a golden blade from what she can see into a round gold Dipylon shield that was holstered on her back.
Pyrrha inhaled and exhaled she didn't expect that coward to be here but that wasn't important she just needs to focus on initiation and maybe she wouldn't have to see that coward ever again "Pardon me for prying, but are you by any chance Pyrrha Nikos?" Pyrrha sighed of course there would be someone who knows her.
Pyrrha turns to Weiss giving a polite smile "Yes I am, and you are...a Schnee right?" Weiss's smile strain a bit of course she would be known as a Schnee her white hair and blue eyes anyone would know WHO the Schnee's are but that kinda hurt due to her father being the one in charge and if it weren't for her Uncle she would've become his perfect little doll.
Weiss just curtsy "Weiss Schnee it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance miss Nikos.".
Pyrrha waved a bit "Please just call me Pyrrha." Pyrrha flinched cursing her polite nature.
Weiss smiles as she establish Pyrrha as a friend now "Of course Pyrrha and you can call me Weiss." she smiles genuinely she now has two friends you see that Uncle I made friends, oh Winter is going to be so proud! She then remembered Ruby, that got her to stop a bit 'I know it was an accident but she would've blown us off the cliff, I just hope I won't get stuck with her.' she silently thought about a certain hooded girl.
Pyrrha inwardly sighed guess she made another friend again "Of course Weiss." she smiles.
Weiss happy that she established her friendship to a renown champion her chances of making Weiss Schnee known not just another Schnee, with a smile she walks up to Pyrrha "So, Pyrrha, have you given any thought to whose team you'd like to be on? I'm sure everyone must be eager to unite with such a strong, well-known individual such as yourself!".
Pyrrha actually thought about it as she wonder if she could meet someone nice on her team "Hmm... I'm not quite sure. I was planning on letting the chips fall where they may." she says smiling her polite smile.
"Well... I was thinking maybe we could be on a team together." Weiss says as she leans in.
Pyrrha can see the greed in her eyes, well not the selfish kind like she wants something from her, it's like she got something that would help get what she wants, so with a wary smile "Well, Weiss, that sounds grand!" she decides to be a bit vague.
Weiss eyes lit up "Great!" she says before she turns around her face darkens as she starts to scheme 'This will be perfect! The smartest girl in class combined with the strongest girl in class! Together we will be unstoppable! I can see it now! We'll be popular! We'll be celebrities! We'll get perfect grades! Nothing can come between us now!" she didn't see Pyrrha who starts to sweatdrop as Weiss at some point starts to ramble out loud.
"You know what else is great? Me. Jaune Arc. Nice to meet you." Jaune saunters in trying and failing to swoon Weiss who stepped back.
"You again?" Weiss says annoyed on how Jaune tries to get closer.
Pyrrha looked at the blonde in wonder 'did he not notice me?' "Nice to meet you, Jaune!" she introduced herself seeing how he would react.
"Yeah, yeah." Jaune pushed Pyrrha aside as his eyes focus only on Weiss much to her discomfort, not seeing Pyrrha's stunned look "So Weiss, been hearing rumors about teams! I was thinking you, me, would make a good one! What do you say?".
While Weiss looked at Jaune annoyed Pyrrha jumps in "Actually, I think the teams are comprised of four students each, so-" "-You don't say." Jaune cuts her off as he starts to move closer to Pyrrha who looked confused.
"Well, hot stuff, play your cards right and maybe you could join up with the winning team." Jaune says as he got much closer to Pyrrha who starts to feel weird around him.
Weiss seeing Pyrrha confused expression starts to cut Jaune from her "Jaune, is it? Do you have any idea who you're talking to?".
"Not in the slightest, snow angel." Jaune responded.
Weiss fought back the shudder at being called that she glares "This is Pyrrha.".
"Hello again!" Pyrrha waved,
"Pyrrha graduated top of her class at Sanctum!" Weiss says smugly.
"Never heard of it." Jaune says obliviously.
Weiss eyes narrow as she scoffs "She's won the Mistral Region Tournaments four years in a row! A new record!".
"The what?" Jaune looked a little lost.
Weiss now frustrated glares "She's on the front of every Pumpkin Pete's Marshmallow Flakes box!" Weiss shouts as she flail her arms in anger.
Jaune now wide eyed looked to Pyrrha "That's you?!" he gasped as he realize he was standing with a celebrity "But they only do that for star athletes and cartoon characters!" Jaune now looking at Pyrrha in wonder as he imagine her on one of his favorite cereal box.
Pyrrha blushed embarrassingly "Yeah, it was pretty cool. Sadly, the cereal isn't very good for you." she says as Jaune's imaginary cover falls apart.
Weiss now gave Jaune a look "So, after hearing all of this, do you really think you're in a position to ask her to be on your team?".
Jaune slumps "I guess not... Sorry…" he says as he hang his head in disgrace.
Pyrrha just smiles "Actually, Jaune, I think you'd make a great leader!" she says trying to make him feel better.
Jaune immediately perks up "D'oh, stop it!" he says feeling bashful about it.
Weiss just deadpanned "Seriously, please stop it." she then walks over and separate the two apart "This kind of behavior should not be encouraged!".
Jaune with his ego reinflated starts to move close to Weiss "Sounds like Pyrrha's on board for Team Jaune. Spots are filling up quick! Now, I'm not supposed to do this, but maybe I could pull some strings, find a place for you. What do you say?" he says as he got closer.
Weiss now feeling uncomfortable "All right, that's a bit too close! Pyrrha, a little help, please?!" she turns to Pyrrha looking for help.
While Pyrrha was pondering about how she would help but when she saw that coward walking in, she glares at the coward and with practice ease unsheathes her sword and transforming it into it's javelin mode with the shaft extended showing gold rifle barrel, with precise aim she threw the javelin accidentally snagging Jaune's hood when he turned, his surprise yelp got her to snap back and gasp at what she has done, not hearing Weiss's thanks.
Jaune didn't know what happened he was trying to woo Snow Angel and the next he was pinned to the wall by a spear "I'm sorry!" Jaune heard Pyrrha shouts 'okay...that happened.'.
"Wow! That was awesome!" Jaune turned to see Luffy who then starts laughing at him "Man you really don't have any luck huh?" Jaune just blush embarrassingly.
Before Jaune could say anything back the intercom sounds up [Would all first-year students please report to Beacon Cliff for initiation? Again, all first-year students report to Beacon Cliff immediately.] hearing that many students starts to walk past the pinned blonde Including a certain white princess who huffed at him.
Pyrrha also walked past Jaune retrieving her weapon giving Jaune an apologetic smile "It was nice meeting you!".
"Likewise…" Jaune groaned after dropping to the ground after his hoodie got free.
Zoro just chuckled at the poor blonde however this got him a glare from the red head, Zoro quirked his brow wondering what's her problem is as she walked off "I'll see you at the cliff Zoro." Zoro turned to see Weiss who smiles as she made her way out.
While Zoro just watched her run off "Having some trouble there, lady-killer?" he turns to see Yang and Ruby making their way over to them.
Jaune groaned as he cover his face "I don't get it…" he then looks up as Yang held a hand out for him to grab "My dad said all women look for is confidence!" he says as Yang help him up "Where did I go wrong?".
Yang just chuckles ""Snow Angel" probably wasn't the best start." she says as she crossed her arms.
"You came on a bit too strong." They all turned to see the long nose teen who was leaning on the locker now with a green satchel bag slung over his shoulder, a hammer sheathed into his belt and what looks like a modified green slingshot sheathed next to the hammer "But with my great advice I can help you get that girls heart." he then points his thumb to himself with a gloating smile "After all, my 30 years of expertise on love, it will be a trivial thing." he starts to gloat.
While most of the teens just gave a deadpanned look to the obvious lie only an idiot or gullible would fall for such a lie "Whoa that sounds amazing." Luffy says while Ussop smiles at the praise "You must be really old!" that got Ussop to stop.
"He must really have gone through a lot." Ruby gave Ussop a pitying look "Going through 40 years trying to get into Beacon." She says as she add ten years onto his lie.
Yang just chuckles "Yeah, must be really rough for a 50 year old to go through initiation now.".
Zoro also smirk "Hey maybe we should lay off the poor old man he is going 60 right?".
"Stop adding more years on me!" Ussop snaps as he slaps forward getting the teens to chuckle at him "No matter how you look at me I'm clearly not that old." he says but when he only got silence he snaps again "Say something!".
(Beacon Cliff)
It didn't take long for the students to find the cliff and it didn't take longer to find Glynda waiting for them to line up, many scrambled with a few stragglers to catch on (Luffy, Ruby, Nora and Jaune) Glynda just gave them a stern look causing them to hurry in line.
While Glynda kept the students in line Ozpin walked up getting the students attention with a sip of his coffee he smiles to the group "For years, you have trained to become warriors, and today, your abilities will be evaluated in the Emerald Forest." he gestures to the forest below the cliff.
While the students looked down and marvel at the forest "I'm sure the view is breath taking students but may you all please step onto these platforms so we can begin the initiation." she says as many students walked onto their own platform.
One of the student was about to step on the platform before a large teen wearing heavy armor pushed them off he then looked to his left to see that orange haired girl who scared the whole ballroom, she is wearing an open orange short sleeve short jacket with white accent over a black shoulder-less vest with gold accent and white laces tied in two x's on her front exposing her midriff, she also wore an orange miniskirt with white wring design on her side held up by a black belt with gold accent, on her right thigh is a black thigh strap with gold chain accent holding three dust pouch and she wears a pair of brown high heel sandals.
The armored teen whistled at her look getting her to look at him, he gave a flirty wink at her getting her to stare at him, she pulled out three blue rods with an orb attached on the end and with impressive skill flip one rod in the air as she twirl the other two and then connecting them to become a single bo staff and a spin she points the orb end to him, she gave him a wink as the orb glows with electrical current giving him a warning smile.
The teen just smiles 'Ooh feisty!' the teen thought hoping he would get to see more of her.
The orange haired girl just huff 'Great, now he thinks I'm into him….hope he doesn't miss his wallet.' the girl smiles mischievously as she wait for the others to get ready.
"Now, I'm sure many of you have heard rumors about the assignment of "teams." Well, allow us to put an end to your confusion." Glynda says as she looks as the students got ready for the initiation "Each of you will be given teammates... today." she declares getting differing reaction.
"What!? Ohhh…." Ruby starts to feel nervous.
Yang just gave her sister a chuckle.
Luffy looked to Ruby wondering what got her so nervous.
Glynda looked to Ozpin who continued "These teammates will be with you for the rest of your time here at Beacon. So it is in your best interest to be paired with someone with whom you can work well.".
Ruby after hearing that gave Luffy a quick glance before looking away blushing a bit, Luffy gave a confused look while Yang who saw this gave her sister a teasing look which she ignored.
Weiss on the other hand looked to Zoro than to Pyrrha before smiling confidently knowing who she want on her team.
Pyrrha tried to ignore the coward but kept her eyes on Jaune who starts to look queasy at the height.
Nora just grins at Ren who sighed.
Ozpin smiled at the teens reaction to each other "That being said, the first person you make eye contact with after landing will be your partner for the next four years." Crack! Hm? Did something break?
"Whaaaat?!" Ruby scream feeling her entire world broke apart 'Noooo, I don't get to choose who's my partner...than I have to remember where Lu- I mean where Yang lands!' Ruby whined internally before looking determined to find her sister no matter what.
Ren can feel Nora giving him that look again "See! I told you~!" yup there it is Ren smiles.
Ussop just looked around hoping he got someone strong for his partner.
The Orange haired girl did her best to ignore the large teen who gave her a flirty look.
"After you've partnered up, make your way to the northern end of the forest. You will meet opposition along the way. Do not hesitate to destroy everything in your path... or you will die." Ozpin warns giving the students a hard look.
Luffy looked eager to fight, Ruby is anxious as her eyes flicker to her sister Yang who looked away getting Ruby to look shocked, Zoro gave a predatory smile as his eyes glow red, Weiss took a deep breath as she keeps her nerve in check, Ussop and Jaune just looked to each other nervous smile and gulped.
"You will be monitored and graded through the duration of your initiation, but our instructors will not intervene." Ozpin says as he looked to the students as he gesture to Glynda who pulled up a holographic screen from her tablet scroll showing the students different part of the forest showing that they will be watched "You will find an abandoned temple at the end of the path containing several relics." Glynda than changed the screen to a broken down temple with a pedestal in the middle "Each pair must choose one and return to the top of the cliff." Ozpin says as Glynda turned off the screen so the teens attention will be on him "We will regard that item, as well as your standing, and grade you appropriately. Are there any questions?" Ozpin asked as he looked around.
Jaune and Ussop raised their hands "Yeah, um sir?-" "Good! Now, take your positions." Ozpin cut off Jaune while Ussop looked down to the forest.
As many students ready themselves for the initiation eager to prove their metal in the forest, Jaune and Ussop on the other hand just kept their hands high "Uh, sir? I've got, um... a question." Jaune questioned not seeing a student get launch off the cliff much to Ussop's shock "So, this landing... strategy thing... Uh, wha-what is it? You're, like, dropping us off or something?" he asked still oblivious to the other teens get rocketing through the sky.
Weiss posed confidently as she was launched off, Luffy looked excited as gave a slight chuckle before whooping as he was launched, Pyrrha gave Zoro a glare as he was also launched off before following after.
"No. You will be falling." Ozpin answered as he gave a quick smile to Ussop who kept gawking at the teens being flung off.
Jaune still oblivious was a little confused but trying to hide it "Oh, uh, I see... So, like, did you hand out parachutes for us?" 'It's not like he's just gonna throw us off the cliff right?' he thought while Ussop just slapped Jaune's shoulder still in shock.
Nora gave Ren a smile before launching off laughing all the way Ren just smiles as he followed next, The big teen looked to the orange haired girl giving her a wink as he was launched leaving her to sigh in relief before flying after.
"No. You will be using your own "landing strategy."" Ozpin answered as he kept smiling at the oblivious blonde who still looked confused.
"Uh-huh... Yeah." Jaune said not at all convinced not seeing Yang giving her sister a wink as she puts on a pair of aviators and was launched or Ruby breathing in to calm her nerves before getting launched "So, what exactly is a landing strategYYYEEEEEEEAAAAHH!" Jaune was cut off as he was unceremoniously flung off the cliff screaming his head off.
Ussop looked shock before looking at the teachers nervously "O-Oh my chronic I-can't-be-flying-from-a-cliff-to-a-Grimm-infested-forest-syndrome is acting up! Maybe I can just sit this one oOOOOOOUUUUAAAAAAH!" Ussop excuse was cut off as he was flung off screaming.
Ozpin just turned to look as his students flew off the cliff all while taking a sip.
"You enjoyed that too much." Glynda says getting Ozpin's attention "Usually we use airships and just drop them around the forest, why are we using the launchpads?" Glynda says as she pulls up the holo-projector again to monitor how the students would land and who they would match up with.
Ozpin just smiles "It was how we use to perform our initiation before the board deem it too "unsafe" like jumping off the airship is any different." he says remembering how laughable the argument was and the only reason it was approved was because Ozpin at the time was too confused at the concern and how little difference it really made "Plus, I was feeling a little nostalgic." he says as Glynda looked confused.
"You know what would be fun Ozzy?" Ozpin looks next to him as he saw a memory of Roger looking over the cliff with a smile "Putting a catapult on this cliff and getting launched into the forest! Imagine the students flailing in the air as they have to come up with a landing strategy! Mm? Why should we catapult the students? because it builds character!" Roger than laughs as he gave Ozpin a cheeky smile.
Ozpin than looks to Glynda with a cheeky smile of his own "And it's funny." Ozpin says along with Roger as he remembered Roger laughing at the end.
