After spending a couple of days in the hospital, and also comprehending that she was not hallucinating, her mother was finally discharged. She'd thought she was going to meet her new father at any moment, but no one came except a few nurses who checked up on her well-being.
Being considerably knowledgeable about the 'real' world, many people die in wars and missions. It's a Shinobi world after all.
Yeah, at this point she realized, with a huge amount of grief, that it was not indeed, the good kush.
Although her father could be extremely busy to see his child and wife due to his job, ya know the average Asian dad who overworks. Or maybe he's sick and bedridden...but then again, he could've left her mom after impregnating her.
Any other person would be panicking right now, but the good'ole [Gamer's Mind] ability calmed her down and allowed her to have a peaceful state of mind.
Then she felt someone gently prodded her shoulder before picking her up and holding her near their chest. She glanced up, unable to really churn her neck to get a better look because she was just born, and babbled at the sight of her mother. The mother in question, slowly maneuvered her way outside the hospital before stopping at the exit.
Tamako, her new name, eyed the tasteful cactus décor and the cute succulents, taking in her surroundings before finally, her mother.
She had porcelain skin with plump red lips, dark eyes and light blue hair which she keeps in a spiky ponytail with long strands of hair framing her face, bangs dusted across her eyes.
Her mother's face was in complete distraught, and pulled into a frown with her eyes shifting back and forth around the hospital, often landing on her tiny self. Her red-lined eyes revealed that she was on the verge of another crying episode.
Ding!

The girl wrapped snugly between her mother's bosom and arms should have been comfortable, perhaps even delighted at the presence of her mother. But nothing was delightful of this situation. A shot of panic ran through her body, but to keep her mother from panicking at her own panic, Tamako switched to a gummy smile, babbling nonsense to cheer her up.
Must have been the asshole dad!
Of course, life is never that simple and her actions had clearly made things worse when her mother glanced down, and those waterworks she worked so hard for came running down. Tears pooling down her face, dripping on the concrete floor and occasionally piercing through her only source of warmth, the blanket.
Not that it was needed since outside is literally a fucking desert
Out of all the places, I ended up in a fucking desert. What the fuck.
As soon as those few sentences left her brain, she felt numb.
She was in Sunagakure.
The poorest Village
The weakest Village.
The Village that literally only has three siblings to name their attack force.
Possibly.
Fuck me.
She glanced at the not very obvious buildings that were structured like round mushrooms at the top, which some was painted with cheap paint, as the color barely covered the original color.
I hate heat, but this ain't so bad. Not humid, thank the gods above, Jashin, Pein, whoever.
By the time she finished ranting at her new predicament, her new mother wiped her tears clear from her sunken red eyes before continuing to walk down the path. The path was filled with civilians and shinobi alike, civilians taking the ground and shinobi hopping on building like it was nobody's business. Vendorsshouting out insane prices and pleasant smells filled her small button nose.
And god almighty there is dango. Noted. I'll come back once I can walk
The new mother quickly walked down a path before climbing steps to a slightly larger building than others we passed before.
My home? Wow, considering the other houses we passed, we must be loaded with money. Goodie
Her thoughts were quickly burned into ashes as the person who responded to the light knock on the door, had an apron. Behind her were 4 children playing with blocks.
Just by looks alone, Tamako was able to discern that She was a Matron
And you might ask why that's wrong. Well, let me tell you something.
This is a fucking orphanage. Mom is already leaving me?
She paused, a single thought process ran through her mind because clearly, it was far more important than her current predicament.
Wait, this is my chance to test out my observe skill!
Observe
Name: Matsuma
Gender: Female
Wooooooow. She drawled out, such great importance of knowledge. Fuck me, we back in the daily grind.
Matsuma, the matron, seemed to be in her late 20s, early 30s. She proceeded to stare at the mother with hints of sadness, exchanging a few words before Tamako arrived in her arms.
Mother whispered sweet nothings into her ear, droplets of tears filled her eyes. One last kiss on her forehead before she walked away from that door she left Tamako behind. Not even looking back once.
Her figure got smaller with each second passing by, the only thing Tamako was able to focus on was her earrings that shined from a distance, just like crystal.
Then, blue windows assaulted her

Internally, her eyebrows raised, her eyes bulging out comically large. Shouton Release, was an unexpected Kekkei Genkai, and if her memory served her correctly, it was introduced in a filler arc.
That could only mean one thing, filler was canon.
Oh god.
Her thoughts were soon rudely interrupted by Matsuma as she carefully settled her miniature body on her arm and proceeded to stuff a bottle into her mouth. Not that Tamako was complaining per-say, she hadn't eaten anything yet so it was welcomed with a hint of annoyance.
With a quick glance at the bottle, she observed her only source of nutrients until solids.
Baby formula - Poor
-Formula that has an adequate amount of nutrients needed to support healthy growth for a newborn
+Staves off hunger for 3 hours
The baby formula was pretty bland, but she wasn't complaining. It was best to drink all of this stuff, who knows if Suna is still recovering from any wars, as the Village looked... decently developed to be perhaps a couple of decades old for what she's seen so far.
Or maybe that was just a side-effect of being dirt poor.
Who knows when a shortage might strike, better to be safe than sorry.
This repeated for days as Matsuma would pick her up from a crib that she was sharing with another infant ,and let's just say Tamako didn't get much sleep. The infant next to her would not stop crying, clung to poor Tamako with a grip no infant should have and shat on themselves whenever they got the chance.
Matsuma would feed her nine times a day, and often called another matron to keep her (and others) entertained for the rest of the day. They often brought her to the playpen once she was old enough where other babies slobbered all over their clothes and chewed on their fingers.
Some have resulted to pulling each other's hair, getting slobber all over, for attention
With a horrified face, Tamako slowly crawled to a safe corner and leaned against the wall trying to catch her breath as warzone was merely footsteps at her door.
"Oh, what are you doing so far away?" Yoshima asked, another matron at this orphanage, giving her a warm smile before picking her up and plopping her back where the slobber was the worst, "There you go, now have fun!"
Tamako mustered her nastiest glare and delivered it, only receiving a chuckle in response before attending the situation on hand.
Two pairs of hands went to reach her oddly purple colored hair which prompted her to reflexively duck out of the way, throwing her entire weight to the cushioned ground and rolled away with vigor, bumping into others during her retreat but she continued with one thought.
Never again, she swore, slapping hands that venture too close to her hair.
Ding!
