Rocky died today. I was really sad because he was really nice. He got into this really sick fistfight with the boy from Eleven. They killed each other. It was kind of cool but also really gross to watch.
Gina's still alive, but she's even angrier than I've ever seen her. She's kind of scary, even when she's not angry.
Matty's sad again. Rocky was her tribute, so it makes sense. I hate seeing her sad. It always makes everything look so much more grey. I made her an ice cream sundae tonight to cheer her up, but I don't think it worked. She smiled a little bit, but then she went right back to frowning.
Hermes told me not to worry and that she'll feel better soon. I don't know if I believe him. Having someone die must be really bad for you. Also, Hermes doesn't look happy either. He never does.

Hi all! We're down to the final eight of the Forty-Fourth, and since everyone's talking about what's going to happen next, I thought I'd also share my own thoughts and predictions with you!
So! Now that the Career pack has been whittled down to just one person - that being Gina from Two - things could go one of two ways: either she becomes so consumed with rage that she goes on a rampage, OR she gets ganged up on and taken out. She is powerful, but extremely undisciplined.
And if anyone is willing to gang up on her, then it'll be Atari from Three and Wynnet from Nine. They're very smart, and Wynnet has brute strength on her side. And a sickle.
Although I'm shocked that Weft from Eight has managed to last this long, he's going to be the next to die. I'm sure of it. He's inhaled a lot of chemicals in the underground chambers, and while he wasn't the first to suffer their effects - poor Atari might permanently lose her sense of smell after this! - his weak body surely can't take this much longer.
Likewise, Lisey from Eleven and Alia from Six are done for as well. I have to commend them on their efforts, though.
Renalto from Seven and Wheaten from Nine have a powerful alliance, rivaling that of Atari and Wynnet. If those girls don't come out on top, then these boys certainly will! They've managed to avoid the dangerous underground chambers that so many others before them stumbled into, and have kept themselves above ground so far.
Either one of those two would be my pick for Victor, but what do you all think? Comment down below if you enjoyed this post!

I don't know if you know, but there was a hit and run in the Capitol a few days ago, and I couldn't help but notice that the description of the car involved matched the Vicinity. I know you're not in the Capitol right now, but I still thought it was a little odd. Your car is a pretty rare model and I just couldn't believe the odds of that particular make being involved in a crime…

Ha, that is pretty odd. And speaking of the Vicinity, I had to take it to be cleaned the other day because your witch bitch- oh I mean girlfriend, dumped an entire carton of rotten eggs on it. She's an absolute menace. I think she's worse when you're not around.
But anyway, rest assured Hermes, I promise you I haven't been involved in any hit and run incidents (yet! Because Leah is this close to getting flattened into the pavement!) but boy that must suck for whoever got hit. Do you know who it was?

We're down to the final four! The girls from Six and Eleven and the boys from Eight and Nine all died. They'd all gone down into these underground rooms where there were lots of dangerous chemicals that kill them if they stay down there for too long. They did leave after a while, but it was too late.
The girl from Three went down there too, but she only stayed a little while. After she left, her nose started bleeding really heavily and she said she was having trouble smelling anything. She's still alive though. And so is Gina.
Hermes is really nervous. He really wants Gina to live. I want her to win, too. It would be really cool if District Two had more Victor's than District One, because it'll mean that we're better than them!
I got a phone call from Mom today. She asked me how I was doing and when I told her how much fun I was having, she said, "oh, so you would rather be in the Capitol than be with your mother." I tried to tell her that I liked being with her too, but she just said, "no no, go have fun. Don't let me stop you." And then she just hung up.
Hermes told me to not worry about her, but I can't help it. I don't want Mom to be lonely forever.
