It was a well known fact that Konoha was absolutely destroyed, wiped out in fact, while defending their Kyuubi asset. The likes of Kumo and Iwa have been crossing the Fire Border, spies lounging in nearby border villagers and inching everso closer to the hidden village itself. Her own network kept informed of the hostile-like actions, but the shinobi spies kept their distance.
Probably because Danzō was recently appointed as Rokudaime Hokage Kōho and accepted the Gokage Kaiden set in the next week or so. That meant she had one week until Canon Sasuke raids the meeting and murders Danzō .
Danzō had to go, it was a fact.
And thank god Tobito gave her a reason to do so under his watch.
Even if she had to implicate herself, murdering the Rokudaime Hokage, she would do it. To hell with it, her reputation was already ruined after joining and conspiring with Tobito. The Elemental Nations already hated her, so siding with the Akatuski's side during the war, even if it was just the introduction, she will take on the role as the temporary enemy of the war.
Danzō holding Shisui's last eye was the last thing keeping Itachi to fully recover, and Tamako was fully prepared to try and try and try to recover the eye without the man self-suiciding and destroying said eye.
If things go as planned, meaning that she stops Sasuke from possibly offing himself, retrieving and transplanting Shisui's eyes without Tobito finding out, then she'll be able to stop the death of Hoshigaki Kisame on March 18th and reconvene as the Elemental Nations prepare for war.
By then, she should probably go AWOL from Akatsuki and focus on training with Itachi to rehabilitate his body and for him to get used to his shiny new Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan. If the possibility arises, and most likely it will not, attempt to stop the death of Konan. If things are too risky, let her fall to her demise.
Then lastly, observe the Fourth War until the perfect opportunity arises to give aid to the fighting force.
However, Lady Luck did not shine her eyes on Tamako.
Her plan was blown into obliteration when Sasuke took things under his own discretion when he decided to leave a note via hawk that he'll take Team Taka to the Gokage Kaiden himself to murder the main perpetrator of his brother's misery without her, to show that he was capable enough to enact this first of his final revenge on his own.
There were reasons why Tobito told Tamako to watch Sasuke, the boy was a ticking time bomb. He was suicidal, he couldn't think. Everyday, the light in Sasuke's eyes were getting duller and duller, his vision fading alongside his own sanity. The Mangekyou Sharingan was plunging Sasuke's weak psyche further and further to insanity, and she was worried.
The Mangekyou Sharigan had a plethora of huge drawbacks in return for great unparalleled power. For Itachi, it was an illness that tempted death. For Sasuke, it was mental instability. There was only so much Sasuke could live with, to him, he killed his brother. His entire life goal of avenging his clan, succeeding then finding out the entire ploy was a ruse, it was only a matter of time Sasuke would die on the inside.
Uchiha's and their shiny stupid red eyes.
Needing so much babysitting and watching.
Tamako swore under her breath, igniting the paper before flinging her across the Land of Fire, rushing towards the Land of Iron.
There was only so much she could take too, you know.
She began her desperate sprint to Tetsu no Kuni, thinking of the reasons in why Sasuke decided to leave without her. She was Sasuke's closest confidant, he trusted her, she trusted him somewhat. There's only so much trust you can put on someone who went through this much mental anguish without confiding it healthily. His rants of Tobito, Itachi, Konoha, Team 7 at night were sporadic as his mind.
All she could do was listen dutifully and seep soothing medical chakra through his head, but that never stopped his nightly terrors that woke her up with a pounding chest. So many times she saw him cry in his sleep, face pulled and pinched as tears silently slid down his cheek.
Oh, she cared too much about this lost boy.
Obito had already planted the seeds of doubt in Sasuke after he revealed the ploy of Konoha and Itachi, and Tamako so desperately wanted Sasuke to know that Itachi was alive, recovering and well. But with Zetsu watching Sasuke's every movement, there were just no good opportunities. Itachi is strong, yes, but without his eyes, Itachi was not an S-Ranked threat, moreso bordering A-Rank.
Obito was S-Rank and beyond, he could kill Itachi with just one look and she couldn't let Obito find out Itachi was alive because it could potentially ruin his plans for Sasuke. She couldn't jeopardize Itachi, not until he had Shisui's eyes.
So she kept quiet.
But because of her inaction for Sasuke, his Curse of Hatred ran rampant in his mind, his vision going darker and his mind even darker. Oh, she hoped Sasuke was still in there. She prayed for Team Taka to watch him carefully until she arrived.
After all, she promised herself that she'll do anything in her power to stop this madness. She owed it to Itachi, to Shisui, to Sasuke, because the adults in their lives failed them and she will not do the same.

Tamako sent a small beetle to investigate and keep on track what the Gokage were discussing, herself being a few kilometers away from the event. Her beetle flew with discretion, hugging the walls of the hallways before entering the main room. It crawled on the floor slowly before inching onto the shoulder of one of the Sand Siblings.
Using a minuscule of chakra that only the Byakugan or Sharingan could probably detect, she directed half of her consciousness into the beetle, closing her left eye. Instantly, she viewed the Gokage Summit, her fingers coursing through chakra on top of her left eyelid.
"I refuse to acknowledge an Allied Shinobi Force that compromises the safety of my own Village!" The Raikage thundered out, his loud and raspy voice reached all corners of the room and her beetle flinched at the waves of chakra emitting from the Kage.
Suddenly, a gust of wind blew everywhere, fussing the curtains and nearly blew the beetle away as it clung to Kankuro's black uniform. The man, Ao, appeared by the Mizukage's side and began speaking,
"Hokage-dono! Could you please discard the bandage wrapped around your right eye!" Ao inquired, catching everyone's attention.
"What is the meaning of this..?" Onoki stared hard and long at the eye, his eyes then widening he slowly pieced the pieces together.
"That right eye...It looks as if you have stolen Uchiha Shisui's eye and have made it your own!" Ao continued, every Kage in the room held their breath when the pieces finally reattached themselves.
Every village had their doubts about the infamous Uchiha Massacre. To kill off one of the greatest clan that the Elemental Nations had ever seen, it just wasn't feasible. The clan head, Wicked Eye Fugaku was said to rival Namikaze Minato.
"Uchiha...Shisui!?" Gaara muttered in shock.
"The member of the Uchiha clan, praised as a dojutsu genius on par with Uchiha Itachi?" Mei questioned, her eyes narrowing at Danzo.
"Yes," Ao responded, "Shisui's dojutsu could enter the mind of an opponent and manipulate it as if it was his own. The one being manipulated wouldn't have even known. It was an Ocular Jutsu of the highest degree!"
"Ara ara, I smell foul play..." Mei uttered out, her voice oozing out disgust, her lips stretching into a smirk.
"Hokage, have you been manipulating Mifune!?" Raikage growled out
"Huh..? That's... no way..!" Mifune pronounced, his body language changed from disbelief to realization as he recounted his memories.
"My right eye is also a spoil of the war from a battle with a Hyuuga once. So like you, I'm not one to really talk." Ao announced
Tamako raised an eyebrow, the murder of Shisui wasn't war, that was betrayal to the highest degree.
"Don't think you can fool my eye, the same eye that dispelled the genjutsu the Yondaime Mizukage was under!"
"And tha-"
Ao was cut off when the Raikage raised his voice and hollered out, "YOU BASTARD!" He raised a fist high into the air, ready to shatter the desk in one fell swoop. The kage's all twitched, their chakra swirling around themselves dangerous. Before the Raikage could go through with his plan, a part of Zetsu emerged from the ground in the middle of the table, unfolding its aloe-like leaves to reveal an unsteady grin.
"Hello~!" He sang out, every guard for each Kage flickered in front of their kage and raised their weapons. She eyed Zabuza's large sword and internally grinned.
"It's one after the another! Now, what!?" The Raikage voiced out, his voice getting louder at each word.
"Akatsuki, huh?" Danzō muttered out, being as calm as ever with his body language, but his chakra spiked.
Onoki nodded, "Seems like it."
"Uchiha Sasuke has infiltrated the building, and there seems to be a hidden bug somewhere in this room~!" White Zetsu sang out, dancing without moving from his spot before pointing at Kankuro, "There it is! It feels like... hmm..."
He wasn't able to finish his sentence when Kankuro swatted at her beetle, it landed on the desk, all shiny and crystal before poofing away.
Her left eye went dark, and Tamako cursed. "That damn Zetsu. I need to find Sasuke now." She formed a few handsigns before seeping in the ground, lowering her chakra signature to mimic a rat before diving forward. The ground beneath her molded around her body as her chakra coaxed through the otherwise rock hard ground, frozen from the weather. With a single pulse of her chakra, she peaked the upper half of her body from a pillar and blinked at the sight.
Dozens of Samurai bodies strewn around, blood pooling at the ground with raiton chakra chattering in the air. No doubt the work of Sasuke.
A world that felt so long ago, Sasuke used to refuse to kill and butcher under the orders of Orochimaru.
Now he did it without thought.
Sasuke, you've fallen to the curse.
"Sasuke! You fool!" Tamako shouted out, flickering to his side before creating a massive crystal barrier as the ceiling collapsed, rubble scattered onto the barrier revealing the Raikage, C, and Darui standing on top.
"You brats! All of you!" A shouted, ripping off his shirt before slamming a fist onto the crystal structure, shattering it. "With the two of you here, I'll teach you the fear of true rage!"
Sasuke's chakra surged towards his eyes, and he ran forward with Chidori activated, it was nearly suicide in my perspective.
"Sasuke! Don't engage yourself!" Mini Jugo yelled out.
And clearly Jugo had the same thoughts.
He continued to run forward, before jumping into the air and thrusted his Chidori infused blade towards the Raikage.
Tamako clapped her hands together, using the remnant chakra in her destroyed barrier to reform into a massive dragon that plunged forward towards the Cloud shinobi.
A's guard, Darui, acted first, forming signs at a good pace before he cupped his mouth, "Suiton: Suijinheki!" Water spurted out of his mouth and formed a strong water current of a wall, pushing both Sasuke and dragon back. At the same time, he formed more signs, and Tamako's eyes widened at the inclination of raiton.
The Shouton User forced her chakra into Darui's wall of water, injecting and hijacking the jutsu before manipulating the water molecules into crystal at the pulse of her chakra. With the entire wave of chakra devoured, she flicked her wrist forward and changed the compounds into hundreds of shards and directed them towards Darui, her crystal dragon also in quick pursuit.
Deeming that good enough of a distraction, Tamako lunged and grabbed Sasuke by the collar of his shirt and skidded back from the Cloud Trio to give Taka some room to either retaliate or run away. "Sasuke, don't be so reckless! That's the Raikage!"
True to the namesake, Darui clapped his hands together, "Raiton: Kangekiha!" A wave chakra infused lighting sprang up, freezing all of the shards before they dropped uselessly onto the ground, her dragon crashing into a nearby pillar and decimating the area as it fell limplessly to the side.
Tamako's eyes widened, she didn't know raiton could be used like that. Disrupting her control, hijacking— Darui just copied and imitated her example in seconds! She narrowed her eyes at him. He was strong.
"Boss, it's just like the reports, he has Raiton just like the intel. However, Team Samui didn't get the chance to stop by Sunagakure for the girls' intel..." Darui pondered off,
"He also has Kaaton, so I'm sure he'll end up using it." C finished, "Darui, refrain from using Suiton, it looks like she can change the compound into crystal."
"Yeah." He responded, his eyes trailing the shards on the ground.
Tamako's eyes narrowed at the trio one last time before casting a glance at the Uchiha beside her, still with a tight grip on his collar. "These guys are Jounin from Kumogakure, and in the middle is their Raikage. We won't get past them easily..." Jugo noted, his small figure seemingly even smaller underneath the oversized cloak.
Sasuke's eyes trailed at the three shinobi ahead of them before landing on Tamako before tilting his head towards the Raikage, indicating he wanted her to handle them while he went out to find Danzō.
There were mixed feelings in this, because Sasuke trusted her just enough to handle all three shinobi, and at the same time, he was asking her to die for him. She stuck out her tongue at him in petty rage before taking a single step forward towards the Raikage. "Look, all of this is just a... silly misunderstanding." She finally let her grip on Sasuke go before planting both hands on her hips, jutting them to the side. "Sasuke and I, well, we just got a little lost, you see."
The Raikage and his guards didn't even humor her.
"I'm going to stop your movements!" C shouted, completely ignoring her attempt to waste time and formed three hand signs, "Raigen Raikouchuu!"
C then started to shine like a beacon and blinded so bright, Tamako thought he was trying to attempt to suicide-bomb with everyone around. With speed Tamako didn't even know she was capable of, she shaped her chakra, twisting the molecules of the air and changed its molecular compound to agree with her standard crystal, creating an effective shield that reflected back at the enemy.
Then she realized it was Genjutsu, nevertheless, they were shielded from the light. She coated her shield in another layer of chakra, prepping the manipulation of the shield into another form, ready at the next snap of action. Her fingers spread against the ground, spreading wild dust between each finger. With a pulse of chakra, crystal sprung from the ground aiming to maim.
The dust settled and her crystal was free from any possible skewered shinobi, and Dairui and A flickered. Tamako drew back her chakra and stepped to the side, their aimed attacks of unison weren't to knock them out, they were planning to kill them in one blow.
Suigetsu flickered in front of her, holding up a sword sparkled yellow to block the Raikage's blow, his feet imprinting the ground from the sheer force alone.

Her fingers touched YES, and quickly, everyone in the party's health bar appeared in the top right corner of her view, Sasuke at the very top with a crown next to his name, just like last time.
Everything resumed, and the Raikage's assault went right through her shield and split Suigetsu's blade, Tamako's gift, in half, letting the blade shard fly into the air.
No!
They all skidded back away from the assault, "Ah shit! Not my Raijin!" Suigetsu cursed,
"That's MY Raijin!" She countered back, mourning at the cost to fix, if it was any possible. That was the Tobirama's Blade of the Thunder God, a priceless relic she had stolen right underneath Konoha's nose in the form of a quest reward item. She had given it to Suigetsu because she didn't have any affinity for raiton, and Sasuke preferred a chokuto, so it only seemed right to hand it to Suigetsu who didn't have access to Zabuza's sword.
"It's because of the crack it got when we were fighting the Hachibi" Jugo replied, not sympathetic at the loss of the beautiful blade.
"You cracked it during Hachibi!?" Her voice almost turned into a shrill, it was her first S-Ranked item. She stared at what remains of the blade at Suigetsu's hand, the handle and probably two inches of the actual blade.
She snapped hers fingers and adjusted Suigetsu's watery arms to crystal and replaced the lost blade, using the remains of her crystal shield, bestowing the sword as half metal, half crystal.
She turned her teary eyes at Suigetsu, "Be a dear and get the other half later."
"I thought I told you to not interfere!" Sasuke grunted, his red eyes spinning.
"Yeah right, and get yourself killed?" Tamako bantered back, smirking with dreary eyes, "Can't have you turned to fried chicken just yet." Her hand automatically rose above her waist and created a trusty tanto, twisting it between her fingers before throwing herself into a stanza, readying herself from any retaliation from the enemy.
"C, scout the area and look for any more of their comrades. It's gonna be a pain when they pop out of nowhere..." Darui asked, side glancing at him
"I'm pretty sure there's one more, but if I look for him, it would be hard for me to rejoin the battle." C reasoned
"We don't need you, Boss and I will handle it."
Underlying meaning: We don't need all three of us to handle two missing-nin and three tagalongs.
"Karin will probably hide her chakra signature." Suigetsu nodded at his own words.
Begrudgingly, Tamako nodded back at his words, "She is one of the best sensor-nins out there, she won't expose herself so easily." But she still didn't want Karin by herself out there, she knew the girl could defend herself but if someone of this caliber were to attack her, it wouldn't be a pretty battle.
"Seems like that guy in the back is a sensor type, we have no choice but to defeat him." Jugo raised his arm that was shaped like a large blade, his curse mark on his face glowed and expanded, devouring his whole face, "He's mine." He growled.
He slammed the whole weight of his leg, crushing the ground beneath it. Half of his limbs had already distorted into heavy-scale like texture. He hunched over, his back extending six holes that steamed out chakra, his whole body twitching, before expanding.
He left out a crazed laugh, "I'm going to rip you apart!"
"His personality changed even more than his appearance" Darui sweat dropped.
"Stay focused! His chakra is off the charts!"
Jugo cackled with a frenzied look, huffing in irregular amounts of air.
"He actually let himself become overcome by his impulse to kill, you think he'll remember he's on our side?" Suigetsu asked Sasuke, giving out a smirk that revealed his sharp grin.
Tamako narrowed her eyes, "He better, if we're gonna be fighting every single goddamn Kage here." She sent a glare at Sasuke, "Why didn't you wait for me?" Then a little more quietly, "You know that Zetsu outed you. This is a test from Madara."
Sasuke narrowed his eyes, squinting at her as he tried to make up her figure, "It doesn't matter. I'm killing Danzō"
"It does! You— you could've died."
"Now then... who's first!?" Jugo sent out a burst of chakra from his back, the power gave off a gale of wind that blasted into her face, sending her hair flying and whipping the sides of her head.
The Raikage launched himself towards Jugo, "Don't get cocky!" And slammed his fist into Jugo, sending him flying back and shattered the wall.
However, when the debris settled down, it revealed Jugo blocking the Raikage's fist with his arm turned shield.
Suigetsu flickered over to C, and brought his blade down, only to be blocked by Darui's meat-cleaver-like blade.
"Heh, I like your blade~" Suigetsu sang,
"Hah, I won't give it to you since your's broke!" Darui grunted, putting more manpower into his blade, pushing Suigetsu back a few centimeters.
On the other side, the Raikage knocked out Jugo, leaving Sasuke and Tamako exposed to him, "That's one down," He still had his fist shoved into Jugo's arm.
"I won't be grasped by the likes of that Sharingan!" He growled out, before noticing Jugo's abnormal body functions had pipe-like extentsions that were glowing towards him as if it was a copy of the Biju Bomb.
"DIE!" Jugo's shriek reached Tamako's ears, painfully reminding her of the high decibels he was able to reach in that form.
And true to my words, the Biju-like bombs went off at point-blank range, destroying half the building and releasing intense heat and a blast of wind that required everyone in the vincinity to infuse chakra to their feet in an effort to not blast off.
Sasuke took that moment to send a strong genjutsu over to C's way, effectively stopping his movements, before he collapsed.
In a split second, Tamako joined the fray between Suitgetsu and Darui, creating a tanto out of one of the stray Suiton and swiped rapidly at Darui with one hand, he dodged all but one where he was a second too slow, but used his gigantic meat-cleaver to block, with her other hand that still had the tanto she made earlier in her grasp, she thrusted it forward though his flesh at lightning speed, blood gushing at each pull
Darui's health bar right above his head shrunk and slowly decreased over time

The Hozuki took that opportunity well and sliced open the side of Darui's torso, in response, he kicked Tamako's tanto away, grabbed her other hand and flung it back. The tanto went flying in the air and Darui kicked his leg back, trying to gain distance away from the duo.
Tamako didn't let the enemy get his rebreather and pushed chakra into her limbs and scampered over to Darui, hooking her foot around his leg and effectively tripping him before skewered down with a new kunai between her fingers. She sliced through his hamstrings and the achilles tendon, forcing him to buckle down. He was out for the count until medical attention. She could've killed him, but it wouldn't be worth it.
Darui seemed to figure out the same fact, his eyes wide at her mercy. The kunai between her fingers, stained with a bit of blood, shattered into dust and she nodded at the kneeling man. Then, she instantly flickered over to Sasuke, pulsing out a wave of quick healing chakra towards his eye sockets to soothe the damage he caused to his ocular sockets. He was overusing them, his chakra pathways to his eyes strained and almost damaged.
"Don't overuse them now, we still have him to deal with" She murmured, before sending out another good wave of chakra before withdrawing her hand from his face.
Then A then reappeared out of nowhere and slammed Jugo into another wall, completely unscathed.
Sasuke streamed another Chidori through his blade and stared dead towards A who's eyes narrowing at the sight of the two missing-nin.
Sasuke bolted forward and sidestepped around A, getting behind him and struck his blade infested with lightning down, only for the sword to be knocked out of Sasuke's hand, pushing Sasuke away from A.
With brisk movements, Sasuke formed the signs necessary for Chidori, his whole left arm encased with chakra.
"Chidori!"
"ELBOW!" A snared, raising his arm and aimed the point down at Sasuke.
He ducked down and landed his thrust attack right on A's left chest.
Tamako flipped through signs as fast as she was capable and slammed both hands on the ground, directing her chakra underneath A and encasing his whole lower body in chakra. She panted hard, she hadn't spared any of her chakra and threw out ninjutsu left and right. Tamako was getting tired and they'll need to lose A soon.
"A thrusting attack amplified by lighting to increase its power and piercing ability... it's just like Hatake Kakashi's!" A concluded, eying at the Chidori piercing only a inch into his chest."And a unique Kekkei Genkai that allows the user to change the molecular components of nearly all atoms into crystal... " A trailed off, recollecting his thoughts regarding the Shouton User
The devil in her head chimed with dark thoughts, He's probably thinking about kidnapping you to study the kekkei genkai and to reproduce it in any possible means.
Tamako shuttered at the thought and threw a kunai at A, not caring if it landed or not, and pulsed out waves of chakra, fixing the rate of chakra flow in her whole body two times faster, effectively creating a layer of transparent crystal, which protects her from physical attacks and most ninjutsu while aiding in performing stronger physical attacks.
The downside is that it used up her reserves twice as fast and was a constant drain.

With only half of my reserves left, I have about thirty minutes until I drop dead from chakra exhaustion, I need to put a stop to the Raikage in those minutes and can recover about a quarter if I take a Soldier Pill, but artificial chakra drains twice as fast and give me a high and after, I'll crash...
Not wasting even a second, which would cost her about nine CP, she bolted forward trying to emulate lightning, and appeared on A's side. Her knuckles jabbed his torso, aiming at the tenketsu and pushed out sharp pin-pricks of chakra. Each prick that touched his skin targeted the tenketsu and closed off the chakra forcefully with crystal, the area blossoming into crystal instantaneously and devoured his entire left body, hastening into the ground spreading like an infection and gluing A to the ground.
As soon as the fingertips had touched his skin, the area blossomed into crystal instantaneously, devouring his whole left body and hasten into the ground like a spreading infection.

For the jutsu to continue deteriorating his body into crystal, by literally changing the composition of his flesh into crystal, Tamako needs to have skin-to-skin contact to transfer chakra directly to the target for the effects to continue, and the jutsu fed off the victim's own chakra pathways and system.
Even if she withdraws, the damage already done to the body will stay unless a highly skilled medical-nin could reverse the effects, or cut off the infected area and encourage the damaged area to regrow cells with chakra.
The intense burning pain had affected A that split second, spawning a pained look to grow on his face, but the look was wiped from his face in a heartbeat and instead had drawn wrath.
He grabbed Sasuke by his violet Obi and gripped a handful of Tamako's cloak and launched the two into the air briefly before turning them upside down and threw them down, his whole body coated in lightning chakra.
"Liger Bomb!" His chakra spiked right before they were slammed into the ground, the intensity of A's chakra skyrocketed from his usual reserves and screamed death if Tamako didn't do something, even with her layer of transparent crystal amour, she was positive that her HP bar will be very very very low.
"Haaaaa!" The same moment came the sound of A to the explosion that came with his Liger Bomb, whistles of splinters from the ground from the breaking of the ground from their impact, a suffocating smell of dust and dirt filled the air.
Pain immediately entered her system, Tamako's head had definitely had something going on and her whole body ached, pain receptors going off the charts.

She dismissed the windows as fast as they came, her vision blurry, but she focused on the purple that encircled her body. It gave off malicious chakra, not directed towards her, but rather the enemy that nearly killed her in one fell swoop. That chakra was someone she knew well, familiar with. It was Sasuke's partial Susanoo form, and most importantly, it was the Susanoo's hand that had wrapped around her body sometime before the impact. Tamako was more impressed at the speed Sasuke formed the skeleton than to be warmed up that he at least didn't want her to die just yet.
His Susanoo crumbled, absorbing the majority of A's Liger Bomb and still absorbing the shockwaves.
