Reinforcements for the enemy, mainly the Samurai, had flooded the area, surrounding the huge crater that A had created with his Liger Bomb just minutes ago. A's chakra level was off the charts, almost reaching Bijuu level. This wasn't looking so good.
Tamako's breath cut short, hacking her hunts out from the upturned and loose dust still floating around from the impact. She covered her mouth with her sleeves, before glancing. Blood.
Suigetsu was a liquified mess, puddling on the ground from Darui's earlier attacks, Jugo's HP was at the red and Tamako's own HP was around the yellow. She shuttered when the Raikage's chakra brushed past her, the air electrified and dense.
"Come at me, brat!"
Sasuke responded with a single teardrop of blood running down his cheek, surging his chakra forward and outburst a flicker of black flame that swallowed the area that A was once at.
A's movements were swift enough that he directed Sasuke's Amaterasu to a standing Samurai not far from where A had stood, the Samurai immediately collapsing in a fit of screams. Before Tamako could even react, A popped out from Sasuke's left side, his hand in a chopping motion, saturated with Raiton, "Raigyaku Suihei!"
In a split second, Sasuke immediately formed the infamous black flames on his left side of his Susanoo, blocking A's assault and dousing A's entire arm with Amaterasu.
"Don't underestimate me!" Engulfed with anger, A continued his shortstop and effectively smashed his hand through Sasuke's Susanoo, Amaterasu, and into his face.
"Shit, Sasuke!" Tamako shouted, lunging forward to catch his prone body. He coughed out blood in her arms, blood trailing from his left eye and his Amaterasu fading from existence. Sasuke's met the threshold, he won't be able to use the Mangekyou Sharingan without overdoing it and losing his vision.
Tamako grit her teeth, "Stay away!" She shouted, her voice hoarse. She formed a crystal shield between her and A, putting layers and layers that A easily cut through. Her eyes widened at the impending hook heel coming her way and she squinted her eyes shut, ready to reload the save.
A loud bam sounded, and her eyes reopened, sand blocking her from certain death.
"Suna!?"
She took the opportunity to flicker a few feet away from A, holding up Sasuke with a tight grip before eyeing the sand user, Gaara. Sand pulsed out of his massive gourd that has only increased in size the last time she'd seen the boy. This was her Kazekage.
"Sabaku no Gaara..." Sasuke muttered out, his Susanoo dissipating.
"Wind Scythe Jutsu!" Temari shouted, cutting away at the Amaterasu-ed Samurai Armor with Kankuro quickly grabbing them with his chakra strings and flinging them away.
"So these are the flames that never burn out. Amaterasu, huh?" Kankuro grinned grimly at the black flames to his side.
Gaara walked forward with his arms crossed, "You Samurai, get back. This is a problem for the shinobi world. There is no need for Samurai to become casualties."
"Why did you interfere, Kazekage!" A shouted, face pinched with anger, "Whether I punish you or not depends on your answer!"
Realizing that she had a chance to breathe, she bit into another soldier pill and diverted the chakra to her hands, glowing green. "Let me see your eyes." She quietly muttered, holding her palms to his temple.
"If you had continued and performed another attack, the black flames would have further injured you." Gaara responded diplomatically. He had changed so much the last time she'd seen him. "Besides," The red-head glanced towards the two battered duo, "I wish to speak to Uchiha Sasuke and Tamako."
"Hmf." A grunted before chopping his Amaterasu-ed engulfed hand. "C! Hurry and stop the bleeding, I'm going to attack these little shits the minute you're done."
Now at the standoff, Tamako let the green flicker from her hands before stepping and blocking Gaara's sight from Sasuke. Her companion was nearly about to pass out if he engaged in another fight within the next few minutes. He needs to recover.
Her eyes gazed up as she trailed them to each Sabaku Sibling. "Gaara." She spoke softly.
Sasuke inched to the side of her, barely standing on his own two feet as he glared them down with his Mangekyou activated, although his left eye was closed from the excruciating pain she couldn't stop.
"Your eyes are still as they were in the past." Gaara began, his eyes roving over Sasuke's figure. "Making revenge your sustenance resolves nothing. It's not too late for you."
Gaara had definitely grown, he was wise beyond his age but he didn't have the whole story. Tamako glanced at her companion whose eyes were narrowed even further at the red-head's words. "Do not cast yourself in a world where you are all alone, obsessed with hate. Don't drag her along with you, else you'd drag the both of you to a place you can no longer return."
Tamako's eyes widened at Gaara's words and she fisted her sleeves. "Tamako." Finally, Gaara turned to her. "What are you trying to do? What is your true motive…"
She felt her body stilling at his words, her mind running hundreds of kilometers before concluding with a single thought.
She wasn't saving anyone. She was taking the responsibility of the failed adults.
"And?" Sasuke began, "If I returned, what would I find there?"
"Gaara, stop it. Not even Naruto was able to persuade him. They're just petty criminals who'd fallen so low to even join the Akatsuki." Kankuro shook his head in disappointment.
"Kankuro!" Tamako finally snapped back, she never raised her voice in anger before. "You should keep your mouth shut if you don't understand the whole story." She crossed her arms and narrowed her eyes, "I'm disappointed."
"Disappointed?" Temari's fan slammed onto the ground, "After attacking the Gokage Summit, you both are now wanted internationally."
Tamako sighed, "That is true, but it wasn't our intention to attack the Gokage. We have a target."
"You two, we are alike!" Gaara finally shouted, "Walking in the dark and long path, but even you should be able to see the small sparks and flickers of light!"
"I closed my eyes long ago..." Sasuke smirked, blood dripping off the floor. "My goal lies only within the darkness."
Tamako almost rolled her eyes at Sasuke's angsty reply but before she could voice out her disagreement, Gaara closed his eyes and urged his chakra coated sand to rise out of his gourd. There was a single tear that escaped his left eye, and immediately after, sand erupted violently from the gourd and devoured the whole area.
Sasuke activated his incomplete Susanoo Armor and Tamako flared her chakra, seeping into the sand and changing the very molecular level of the sand, instantly, the wall of sand crystalized and broke into large shards, plopping to the ground. "Gaara, you should know, I'm the the worst match-up for you!" Tamako clapped her hands and the crystal chunks trembled at the ground before rising, flying across the area before reforming into one large mass that blocked Temari's Wind Scythe Jutsu and Kankuro's poisoned kunai attached with explosives. The explosion ballooned into black smoke. "Save your chakra for later, Sasuke. Don't you dare try to one-up Gaara's absolute defense just to prove a point."
Sasuke scoffed, "And what about your explosive use of chakra? Don't tell me what to do." And raised his hand, his chokuto full of chidori but it streamed out in a laser, cutting each of the supporting pillars in half and collapsing the room.
At least he listened to her this time.
Before all the dust cleared and before the room caved in, she manipulated what remained of the crystal shield to move lighting fast to wrap around and expand on the Sand Trio and the Raikage, tightening around them as fast as she could. She glued them to the ground and increased her chakra output when she felt a tug and heard a crack, "Oh no you dont..!" She tightened her fist despite the crystal's fracturing at the pressure.
Tamako ignored the tug at her reserves and withdrew the constant chakra funneling at C's words, "Suna delegation! Fall back for a moment!"

She slammed her foot onto the ground, a few slabs of stone rising into the air that crystallize at the touch of her chakra. Tamako jumped onto the neat slabs of chakra that floated, willing the other slabs to collect her party of misfits and criminals away from the falling debris and into a hallway, leaving the Kage delegation in literal dust.

"Have you found Danzo yet?" Sasuke snarked out, clutching tightly on the crystal slab.
Karin shoved her glasses closer to her face with a meek look, "Y-yeah..."

The Uzumaki looked unsteady with Sasuke's attention and diverted her vision. Sasuke narrowed his eyes and grabbed her shoulder tightly, "Hurry up and show me."
Karin stuttered out a reply and pointed at the direction.
Tamako released the slabs and they shattered on impact to the ground with Jugo laid out on the remaining floating slab. He was in desperate need of Chakra, and Tamako quickly swooped down with the slab Sasuke previously on and snagged an unconscious Samurai, letting Jugo absorb him. It was a little crude and a little out of her morality but it had to be done.
With that said and done, she propped Jugo and Suigetsu against the wall, the two incapacitated. "Sasuke, what about them?"
He scoffed, "We will have no need for them."
Tamako's eyes widened, they were leaving them?
But this was half of Team Taka.
She narrowed her eyes, "Sasuke, this isn't right. We can't just leave them, this is Jugo and Suigetsu—"
"—We have no need if they cannot fight. If you continue to argue against this," He raised his chokuto and pointed the blade at her, "Then leave. I will kill Danzo."
His eyes stared down at her form, narrowed with an emotion she'd never seen pointed at herself. It was a look he used for Orochimaru, for Itachi, for Konoha, now it was her.

Sasuke was almost like a brother to her, it was something that naturally sprung with how much time she'd spent with him the past four years. She thought he'd thought the same, but with the look on his face, he only saw her just slightly more useful than the other two.

"Alright. I understand." Tamako shook her head, "Just know, that I'm disappointed in you, Sasuke."

These messages were the inner thoughts of the user she'd decreased her relationship with, seeing them, word for word like this broke her heart.
She casted a minor genjutsu to blend Suigetsu and Jugo to the wall before rushing up to quickly catch up to Karin and Sasuke.
Sasuke was quick to fasten his pace from leisure running to a full-on sprint that required chakra enforcing her limbs to stay at the same pace as him. Karin was quick to shout out which hallways to go through, which turn to turn and most importantly, warned us that, besides the two kages we had escaped, the rest were in the very same end destination area alongside their guards.

Despite her sensor skills not being top-notch, Tamako was able to tell that they were nearing the room at lightning speed, as literally anyone with any shinobi experience could feel the intense pressure emitting from the three remaining kages.
"Wow I'm gonna die, I'm gonna die, gonna die..." She muttered to herself in a chant, biting into yet another soldier pill that she desperately needed. Right before they entered the room, she signed at Karin to stay a little ways back before tucking a couple spheres of highly dense crystal into her pouch for easier access.
She flew across the room and landed on the ceiling in a low crouch as Sasuke whirled around the room and cut off each banner that signified each Hidden Village before standing upside down on the ceiling beside her, his chakra dense with Sharingan blaring out.
It took the guards the same amount of time for the banners to drift and fall to the ground to sense their position, "They're above us!"
She ignored the pang at her heart and plastered a large grin to the audience below and waved. "Hello~"
The grin was dropped quickly when Mifune, the only Samurai in the room, had flickered right in front of Sasuke and unsheathed his katana and swung. Tamako coated her fingers with crystal-infused chakra and grabbed the blade an inch from slicing Sasuke's idiotic face and gripped the blade before yanking. The blade cleanly fell into her own grasp and she sliced down, just grazing his shoulder.
Mifune grunted, landing back on the ground. "I'll deal with them." He spoke, weaponless.
It was at that exact moment when the Leaf Delegates had fled the room, "Sasuke, go!" She shouted, blasting chakra at the soles of her feet and zoomed towards Mifune with his Katana in hand. Rapidly swiping the blade in all directions in random sporadic times outclassed Mifune's speed, and allowed her to land a few decent hits. Her Akatsuki cape fluttered behind her at each movement, almost like a dance.
Ao had blocked the entrance, "Mizukage-sama and Choujuro, stay here! I will pursue Danzo, however, our conversation is not over!"
Tamako narrowed her eyes at the blocked entrance and swung the katana into an arc, "This'll get messy..." She took a few steps back on the ceiling and bent down, discarding the katana into her inventory but slamming her hands on the surface. She called upon her chakra to encase the room, crystal erupting from the ground and skewered the room, trapping anyone before they could proceed.
"Karin, follow!" Sasuke shouted, fully intending to use her distraction to the fullest but also abandoning Tamako to two kages in the room.
"Hai!"
Both ran towards the hole that Danzo had fled, only to be completely stopped by lava that was spat out and dripped down, slowly devouring the hole.
Tamako sighed, snapping her fingers and crystallizing the lava before it could fully devour the opening and shattered it, keeping the hole wide open. Sasuke didn't like the slight against him and glared at the lava perpetrator.
"Akatsuki toyed with the Fourth Mizukage and trampled on our village..." She wiped away the lava drool, "I can tell the Uchiha clan has fine men, now that I have a good look at you."
Tamako jumped from the ceiling and landed soundlessly, "You are not our target, stay out of the way."
Sasuke shifted his posture towards Mei and opened his eyes that revealed a Mangekyou glare, "Stay out of my way!" He growled.
She sighed, "It's a waste that you're such a fine man...But at least I will give you a kiss that'll melt your heart."
Before she could fully stand up from her chair, Tamako raised her palm to her in a stop motion and shook her head, "Mizukage-dono, he's like, sixteen borderline seventeen." She raised an eyebrow at the woman, "You have to be in your early thirties." She gave the woman a look.
Karin heavily nodded at Tamako's words with fervor, "K-k-kiss? Who the hell is this old hag!?"
Mei's lips twitched up in anger, before calming, "Tsuchikage-sama, if you're not going to fight, please lower your head." She said, quickly forming signs and spat out lava that dripped from the ceiling.
Right before the Lava could descend, Tamako had already injected her Chakra into the formation to memorize the composition of the Lava, inserting her chakra into the air and sped the process of molten rock, stone and finally crystal in a blink of an eye.
The mass of crystal continued to float for another half a second before her hands clapped together, the huge mass whirling together and stopped after it had formed a large crystal fist and went flying forward

Zabuza flickered in front of the Mizukage and brought his ginormous sword that parried her flying fist, then swinging once more to destroy the piece. The leftovers of the fist remained in four broken pieces, she sent another small burst of chakra into them and did her signature senbon.
Zabuza easily swung his large executioner sword in one large swing, striking the array of senbon and shattering them. "What a surprise." He said.
"Zabuza. It's good to see you." She spoke softly, muscles ready to snap. Zabuza was even quicker from the last time she'd seen him, if only Haku were here.
He smirked and disappeared, his swording swinging into a full arc and even glowing a distinct chakra blue that promised a clean slice through her body.
Millions of red warnings devoured her view and she was quick to dismiss the windows, and realized that one, she was still not fully recovered from the previous Liger Bomb and that two, she didn't have enough time to move, and three, she will die on impact and that cannot happen.
Sasuke had similar thoughts because, thank the Lord, that he decided to rudely grab the collar of her now destroyed Akatsuki cloak, choking her in the process, and basically shoved Tamako's entire body into slamming into his chest before he quickly reformed his incomplete Susuano and steamed it with chakra that strengthened tenfold.
With one arm around Tamako's collarbone and the other palm facing Zabuza and his glowingnotgood sword, they were ready to take the brunt of the attack, somewhat.
However Sasuke failed to calculate the power behind that single attack and forgot it double enforce chakra to the soles of his feet, but Tamako figured in that short-time frame, there wasn't enough thinking other than to save her ass, because one moment she was pending death, the next second she was being choked by Sasuke and the after, she was sent flying into the air and shoved to the ground on all fours—
Wow.
That just happened in two heartbeats
Thankfully, [Gamer's Mind] calmed her sporadic thoughts that were lightning fast and forced her to react against the incoming Mizukage. Sasuke was completely out of it, his eyes twitching as if he had consumed too much caffeine and it was all up to Tamako to get things done.
He saved her life, and she'll at least try to give back.
The Mizukage had taken the liberty to lava-up all openings and shut the pair in a small hallway with no escape.
"Now, it's just the three of us. This room is completely sealed... there's nowhere to go." Mei muttered sultrily. Quickly, she went through signs and puffed out her cheeks, huffing out mist that had a slight different tint to the standard Kiri no Jutsu.
Nonetheless, anything that is built of molecules are slaves to her, with another smirk, Tamako clapped her hands almost lazily, the mist that inched towards her form froze and Tamako poured more chakra into the air and let instincts handle the rest.
Small shards of chakra formed in the air slowly, before gaining momentum and devouring what once was the corrosive mist Mei was infamous for producing. Thousands of crystal shards hung in the air, vibrating with tension.
However, Tamako was infamous for turning anything she'd lay her eyes on into her unforgiving gems. With Mei as a heavy Ninjutsu user, her whole area of expertise is useless with Tamako. Just like Gaara, it was a bad match-up for them.
She tilted her head, her fingers rising into a gun-like shape before she pulled the trigger. "Boom."
Without a delay, the sharp droplet's of crystal shot towards the woman lightning fast, and pierced her body. It was only a quick shield of lava that Mei managed to form to block her upper body, her legs and lower abdomen completely pierced through with rain-drop sized holes.
There was a reason Shouton was feared in the Elemental Nations, why only she remained.
Blood dripped down the Mizukage's limbs and her legs shook from pain.

There were so many notifications that Tamako kept half a mind on them, the other trained on the Mizukage ahead of her. She hid her surprise at the new status change but internally she wasn't shocked, she did break into the Gokage Summit and attack three of the five kage's, it was only a matter of time. She equipped the new title and sighed, feeling her chakra strengthen defensively and her crystal itching to fight.
There was a look of both fear and anger on the older woman's face before she froze, white sponge-like blobs began to grow on her entire body that rendered her still. One of the large blobs on her shoulder grew into a head, the mass covering her entire body. It grew in length before wrapping around both Tamako and Sasuke's arm.
What the hell.

While Mei was being drained and unable to move, Tamako walked over to the wall Mei had sealed up and placed a palm over, streaming a bit of the chakra she had just received into the wall and transformed the concrete into my crystal. Under her command, the entire section shattered and dispersed into nothingness, leaving the wall in a wide gape.
She glanced behind her soldier and realized that Sasuke was completely drained and struggled to rise from the ground on two feet. With a sigh, she walked over and grabbed his arm, wrapping it around her shoulders and lifted up. "Let's go. We need to get towards him, right?
