"Hurry up! Hurry up!" The round man shouted as he watched the cloaked person in front of him drag a small figure behind them. "If we get caught you're going to be the one I blame!"

The person he was targeting his shouts at remained silent as they tied the small being up. They hadn't taken off the cloak the small figure wore, nor had they removed the mask that covered their face. They respected the small person's privacy however they weren't sure how long the little one's identity would stay secret for. The man they were working under was cruel, even if he surrounded himself with ninja or people who were talented in combat he was still a civilian who didn't understand the way of shinobi.

The very male she was thinking about pulled his hood down, revealing his shaggy, brown hair. His face was round and pink, his nose was wide and he also had bushy eyebrows. His eyes were so small they looked like black dots on his wide face.

"Tch, I hate having to wear this stuffy, old piece of-" A groan interupted him and three pairs of eyes immediately snapped to look at the small figure who had released the sound.

From behind her mask, Sakura's emerald eyes fluttered open. She frowned when she saw the three people standing in front of her. She identified them as the three who had been having the meetings in the clearing. The one with the round figure had his hood down so his head was exposed. The small pinkette couldn't see the other twos' faces for they still had their hoods up.

"Heh, so I'm guessing you're awake?" The plump man scoffed. "Took you long enough!"

In reality Sakura had only been unconscious for about an hour but the man was attempting to make her feel weak and powerless. The pink haired girl knew this though, and she resisted the urge to sigh. She was exhausted, hungry, annoyed and overall not in a good mood; she wasn't just going to let them keep her captive like this, what? Did they really think she was so pathetic that she didn't know how to get out of this kind of situation?

They had tied her up with ninja wire and Sakura tested how much mobility she had by pulling her hands away from each other. She wasn't expecting to have much room so she wasn't surprised when she felt the wire dig into her flesh as soon as she started tugging on the constraints. She bit her lower lip as she tried to peer over her shoulder at her bound hands. Her ankles were also tied together with the wire but the pinkette focused more on getting her hands free.

"Heh! You can't escape! I tied you up with erm- with.." He turned towards the slim figure next to him. "What's that thing called again?"

"..Ninja wire or wire strings." The person supplied. They didn't seem too annoyed that the plump man was taking the credit for something they had done, then again it wasn't really much of an impressive feat.

"Right!" He put his hands on his hips and puffed out his chest, nodding his head proudly as if he had done the greatest, most impressive thing in the world.

Sakura groaned internally, it was painfully clear that he knew nothing about ninjas. She would of at least expected him to know the basics, after all working with/ hiring ninja was dangerous business. This man was either stupid and strong or he was stupid and had a big ego. Sakura decided he was the latter and created a file in her mind to contain any information she found out about him. The file's name was: An Idiot with a Big Ego. She thought it was rather fitting.

The red haired Haruno had managed to get inside of the building after who knows how long and she pressed the button on her ear piece to let her teammates know. Her brows furrowed when she heard a static sound.

'That isn't right..' She removed the communication device and fiddled around with it. Then Nozomi-san put it on again and pressed the button. The same static reached her ears and the woman groaned in annoyance. Something must be affecting the signal. She travelled further into the dark hallway she was in, sticking to the shadows as she searched for her clan's heir.

The hallways were empty and there were no lights so Nozomi-san had to rely on herself and her senses to not walk into anything. The redhead still hadn't gotten any responses from her earlier message but she assumed that the cause of it was most likely the static. It had to be around half past three in the morning, Shisui was meant to check how they're doing every half hour but because of the static he was probably unable to reach them. Now that she thought about it Shisui wouldn't be able to tell them when the coast was clear when they needed to leave.

She paused when she heard voices. Around the corner from where she was standing there were two men, she assumed they were guards. Nozomi-san walked up the wall beside her and then crawled on the ceiling. Once she was above the two males she listened in on their conversation.

"I'm starting to get restless Iwao."

"Yeah, yeah. I know, the 'big guy' doesn't let us do anything. We're ninja, we're supposed to be out fighting but here we are just standing around doing nothing.. at least we're getting payed though."

The other man scoffed, "That guy doesn't even understand ninja. I feel disgusted by even excepting his money."

"Hm, well we can always kill him once we get our next pay check." The men smirked at each other.

"Sounds like a plan."

Their conversation seemed to end there though and Nozomi-san decided it was time she took action, she was becoming rather restless herself. She jumped down and bashed the two men's heads together, knocking them out. She smirked as she looked down at them, her eyes taking in their Hitai-ates.

'Missing nin who are originally from Iwagakure huh?' She blinked when she heard the Uchiha's voice over the static coming from her head piece.

"Hey, Swirl-san? Can you hear me?"

"Yeah, why?"

"Well.. Emerald-san isn't responding and I know that we have the static problem with our ear pieces but but I think I felt her chakra flare." This caused the redhead to frown. If Sakura had flared her chakra she would of felt it. Flaring your chakra can mean a variety of different things however the most common use of it was to call for help.

'Dang it!' She bit her lip, hard. "Uchiha! I swear to Kami, if she has even a scratch on her I will beat you to oblivion." Shisui gulped.

Akito ignored the calls coming from behind them, they knew it was late- or, well early- but they couldn't find it in themself to care. The pretty lady hadn't come back yet and even though Akito knew she often went out- most likely to visit her friends- she always returned within an hour of when she left. The woman had been gone for longer then that though and Akito was worried. They knew that Hime-sama was strong, they had seen her beat up a group of drunk men who had gotten a bit too close for both of their liking. Akito knew that the chance of the Hime getting hurt was small but they wanted to make sure the pretty lady was alright.

The young child ran through the village, trying to catch a glimpse of peach hair or a dark cloak. She noticed that whenever they went out the pretty woman was either dressed up elegantly or she hid her appearance by wearing a cloak and mask.

A worried woman approached Akito, causing the youngling to stop in their tracks. The mousy-blonde haired child looked up at the female cautiously.

"Are you alright dear?" The woman asked them, a kind smile on her face. Akito blinked at her before a wide grin broke out on their face, lighting up their features.

"Mhm!" They hummed. "Akito is just looking for Hime-sama!" The woman looked quite shocked at the child's words.

'Hime-sama? A princess? No.. it must just be someone of noble blood.. still that's a valuable title.' She smirked. 'This kid must be her child.'

The bright grin Akito previously wore on their face had turned to a frown.

"Are you ok?" The little sweetheart didn't like it when others were unhappy. The female blinked and quickly shot a pleasant smile at the young kid.

"I'm perfectly alright! Can you tell me what this Hime-sama is wearing?"

Akito thought for a moment, a contemplative look on their face. "Erm.. well, Hime-sama is either wearing pretty kimono or a black cloak.." The woman frowned at the unhelpful description.

'..Wait.. a cloak? Why would a lady of such importance wear a dark cloak like some sort of thief who runs about in the night? Could she have some sort of secret lover?' The woman smirked, she loved a good dose of drama and gossip. She tucked a lock of her silvery-cyan hair behind her ear and smiled at Akito. "Why! I think I saw someone wearing a pretty kimono rush by here a little while ago!"

Akito gasped, dramatically covering their mouth with their hands. "Wow! Really!" She nodded her head.

"Yes, what colour did you say her hair was?"

"It's a peach colour! And- and Hime-sama also has pretty teal eyes!" Akito went on, gushing about the woman's beauty. "And she's so kind too! One time sh-"

"Yes, yes, I'm sure she is quite amazing, I'm also sure I saw her just now. Here," She reached her hand out to the young child, "take my hand, I'll take you to her."

Akito smiled, happy they had made a new friend. They placed their hand in the female's and let themself be led over to an alleyway.

A/N: Akito is such a sweetheart! They are so adorable!

Sorry for the late update by the way :d

Some of you know this but I have decided to let you guys pick the story/fanfic I'll be updating when I cannot update one of my stories that is already published. Please remember that this one won't be updated as often- only when I fail to update one of my other fanfics. Here are your options:

I love you, my little Rose:

Tick

Tock

Her heart ached to know what it was like to be loved. She had never known the feeling and she was curious as to how it felt.

Tick

She and her sister, Eri, had only ever known pain, fear and sadness. They had only known darkness and one day they both wished to see the light.

Tock

Tick

Y/N couldn't remember much about her life before the pain but there was something, a single phrase that ticked in her mind.

A clock chimed.

'I love you, my little Rose.'

Dark Side:

He had known as soon as he saw her eyes.

The dark shadow that was looming behind innocent emerald.

He had hoped that it wouldn't happen, but oh, it did.

Where Sakura Haruno is not what she seems and a clan head makes a deal with a certain snake. This is the mysterious and twisted tale of the Dark Side of Haruno Sakura.

Barry Otter? Shannaro!:

'Barry Otter? Shannaro! What kind of name is that?'

Both Inner and Outer Sakura had felt Inner's presence grow weak; however neither one of them ever expected her to be transported into someone else's mind.

An annoying voice shouting in his mind was certainly not what Harry needed but when darkness rises and he needs to find a way to deal with death the voice proves to be surprisingly useful.

Pleas of a Phoenix:

Her pleas rang through the night as fire burned down below. Flames swallowed her body and she screamed in torment as her eyes closed.

It felt like it had only been mere seconds before she opened her eyes again. When she did, she knew what had happened. She had been in a similar situation countless times before. Her ashes had come together and she had once again been reborn.
