The crimson haired woman sprinted down the hallway. She had finished draining the duo's chakra and had knocked the two out before continuing on her search for Sakura. She hadn't heard from Shisui since he told her that Sakura might be in trouble. Nozomi-san knew that the Uchiha was most likely fine but part of her wanted him to have been captured as well. Not because she hoped that he would be locked up for all eternity with nothing to do- no! That wasn't it at all.. In all honesty, she just kind of hoped that he would be held prisoner so that she could come to his rescue and then gloat about it for the rest of the mission. Also, she wasn't completely against the idea of just leaving him here if he was locked up in a cell somewhere. She winced when a small voice in her mind berated her.

Shaking her head, the woman focused on the long corridor in front of her. She really needed to stop getting lost in the endless void that was her mind.

Her movements were silent as she travelled through the building. Her breathing was so hard to hear it was almost as if she wasn't alive at all. Even the clothes on her body rustled soundlessly. She was on high alert, all of her senses were working at once. She could hear even the slightest of movements and quietest of breaths. She could smell even the faintest of scents and her eyes could pick up on every movement in the shadows. Even her sense of touch, as well as her sense of taste were working in whatever ways they could to pick up on any foreign presences. She even had her sixth sense working hard so no one could manage to slip past her guard, right? Wrong.

A powerful kick sent her flying into a wall and her brown orbs narrowed as she glared at the culprit. Her attacker had on a black cloak that enveloped their entire form. Nozomi-san was unable to see their appearance thanks to the item of clothing but she could tell that they had a reasonably slim figure.

"You're going to regret doing that in a minute... you know that, right?" Nozomi-san let loose some killing intent and a smirk made itself known from behind her mask. Her expression morphed into a frown when the figure did not respond and instead slipped into a fighting stance. 'Hm. Guess they want a fight..'

She slipped into a stance of her own.

'That's fine with me.' In a flash the red head appeared behind her opponent and sent a kick towards their neck. The cloaked figure turned around and grabbed the Haruno's foot. Then they sent a kick towards her side and when the limb made contact with her, Nozomi-san burst into a cloud of smoke.

The mysterious person looked around the hallway in confusion. Their eyes darted around wildly, trying to locate the person they had been fighting against. When it became evident that they were alone a low growl erupted from their throat and they focused on locating their missing target.

A low grumble sounded from Sakura's stomach and said girl's face turned pink under her mask. She exhaled through her nose and stared at the bulky figure who had been standing guard ever since the plump man had left.

'Maybe if I stare at this guy long enough, they'll be able to tell that I'm starving...'

Needless to say, after a whole minute of staring unblinkingly at the unknown person all that ended up happening was her eyes drying up. The young pinkette closed her eyes, blinking quickly in hopes of wetting her dry orbs. Let it be known that you should never let your eyes dry up. Blinking is important.

In all honesty, she wasn't completely sure how long it had been since she first entered the building she was now in but she did know she wanted to leave. A loud gurgle erupted from her belly and Sakura sighed. She needed food.

'I'm beginning to understand why Nozomi-san is always eager to eat anything that's edible...' She thought glumly as her lips formed a pout. She hoped desperately that her guard would take notice of her hunger- along with her need to pee- for if her needs weren't taken care of soon, she feared she would do something she would grow to regret.

'For goodness' sake! Hurry up you redhead!' You may be wondering why she only referred to Nozomi-san. Well, it is most likely that the other Haruno would find her first for she should already be inside the building whilst Shisui should still be outside.

Nozomi-san blinked. It seemed that the shadow clone she had sent to search the East corridors had dispersed. Its memories and remaining chakra returned to her and the Haruno frowned as she recalled what had happened. It appeared that her clone had been attacked. The attacker's appearance was hidden from sight but- much like her clone did- Nozomi-san could tell that the mysterious person had a slim figure.

It appeared that the encounter hadn't lasted long though, for her clone was dispersed by a powerful kick. By the looks of things whoever was in charge of the 'Underground Organisation' hadn't just hired weaklings. Even after such a brief meeting between her clone and the unknown person, Nozomi-san could tell that Mysterio- as she decided to call the unknown person- was strong.

The red head sped up her search for her clan's heir, dashing around in a blur. It wouldn't be good if Mysterio found her (not because she would end up dead should they fight but because it wouldn't do to waste any more time looking for the pinkette than she had already).

She came across a dead end and looked to her left to see a long hallway. She narrowed her eyes suspiciously before cautiously moving towards the first door. She reached out with her chakra, searching to see if there were any nearby chakra signatures but found none. She turned her attention to the door in front of her, trying to see if there was anybody inside the room the door led to. Finding no one, Nozomi-san swallowed before opening the door. Lo and behold, the room was a small closet.

The redhead frowned and looked quite offended as she gazed at the folded pieces of cloth, resting on the shelves.

'What the heck?" She thought as her chocolate coloured eyes surveyed the multiple objects on the many shelves.

She closed the door and walked up to the one opposite the one she had opened first. Once again, she reached out with her chakra signature, searching for any lifeforms that could possibly be inside. Once again, she found nothing.

Nozomi-san gripped the door handle and inhaled before opening the door. She walked inside when all she saw was darkness and the bright hallway behind her lit up the room she was now in since her form was no longer blocking the light. The red haired seventeen year old looked around, the room seemed to be used as a storage room. The previous room had hardly been big enough to be a room so they probably used this room to store things that couldn't fit inside the closet. There were boxes stacked on top of one another and a bunch of other random things were spread across the space. Nozomi-san could clearly tell that this room, unlike all the others she had been in didn't get cleaned very often. There was a layer of dust over the entirety of the room and there were multiple cobwebs sticking to different surfaces.

'...' She glanced over the room again. 'Yeah, no. I'll come back if I find nothing in the other rooms but I really don't want to deal with this at the moment.' She exited the room, closing the door behind her.

She went back to the side of the hallway where the first door was and moved to the door next to it. She checked the room on the other side for any chakra signatures and, finding none, opened the door.

The room was quite dark but as soon as she set foot inside it and turned to look to her right she noticed a light switch by the doorframe. She flicked it and the lights turned on, illuminating the room.

The walls were painted a soft blue and the flooring was made up of wooden planks. The bed in the middle of the room was made, the thin sheets a bright white. Other than the bed, a small bookshelf and a wooden wardrobe there was no other furniture. The room was terribly bare for one of its size and Nozomi-san narrowed her eyes as she cautiously moved around to investigate.

The room was clean, a pleasant surprise after the last room. The redhead looked under the bed and frowned when she saw nothing. She then stood up and turned to the bookshelf. It contained multiple fairytales as well as a few educational books. She opened one of the fairytale books, landing on a random page. It had a drawing of a beautiful lady who had long, golden hair. The woman was wearing a ballgown and donned quite the expensive range of jewels. Nozomi-san guessed that the woman was some kind of princess and closed the book before placing it back on the bookshelf. The redhead then turned to the only other piece of furniture in the room. She sighed before walking towards it. She opened the wardrobe and her eyebrows raised as she looked at what was inside.

Akito was starting to get a horrible feeling in the pit of their stomach. They weren't sure why though since they were following the female as instructed. Then again, they had been walking for a while and they still hadn't seen hide nor hair of Hime-sama. The icy blue eyed woman's grip had travelled up so that she was holding Akito's wrist but the the child was oblivious to this since their mind was too occupied with finding the pretty princess.

The cyan eyed child looked up at the woman next to them.

"Erm.. Akito doesn't see Hime-sama.." They swallowed. The woman stopped walking and Akito followed along, ceasing their movements.

"Well, I did say earlier that I had seen her, it was just a while ago." The lady shrugged. Akito frowned as they looked up at her.

"How long ago was it?" They asked.

"I don't know kid, a while ago! I wasn't counting!" Akito's frown deepened at the woman's snarky reply. The silvery cyan haired female seemed to notice their change in mood and she sighed before speaking, "Look, I'm sorry ok? I didn't mean to snap at you. Now let's go and find your mother, shall we?"

"Mother? But Akito has n-"

The woman began walking again, her grip on Akito's wrist unforgiving. The poor child let out a yelp as they were dragged by the woman, unable to keep up with her sudden brisk pace.

"P-please stop! Wait a minute, you're hurting Akito!" Akito's shaky words were ignored by the woman who, instead of slowing down, sped up.

The young child's breathing turned to heavy pants as their vision blurred. Their heartbeat was beating loudly and their head was throbbing to the point they felt as if they were going to collapse. The weight of their head was ponderous as their vision was attacked by flashes of light and memories resurfaced in their mind.

A/N: Hey guys! I'm sorry this took so long! I had the first part just sitting in my drafts for ages and it was only recently that I managed to continue. Don't worry though! I'll make sure to try my best to keep this story alive! This mission is nearly over (finally) and I'm so excited for what's going to come later on!

Anyway, since it's a holiday expect me to be updating regularly until next year, 2023, that's so crazy, I can't believe 2022 is over already! Ahem- I will also be publishing the first chapter of 'Barry Otter? Shannaro!' on Christmas day so keep an eye out for that (I really hope you guys like it)!

I apologise for any mistakes!

Hope you enjoyed!
