Story Begins »
After what felt like ages trapped underground, she had finally found a way out. Lara emerged out of a hatch in the ground and made it out of the underground bunker looking all sweaty and covered in mud. Having managed to pry open the door, she had been able to find her way out of the secret bunker by climbing a ladder back to the surface.
She walked out of the bunker back into the forest plain where she could hear the sound of a familiar voice. Being cautious, she turned off her torch and stalked over to the source of the voice. She peeked out the side of the wall that she hid on to catch a glimpse of who the voice belonged to only to find an even more familiar face instead.
"Lara! You made it" Sam called out happily immediately she caught sight of Lara, happy to see her friend safe and sound.
"...Sam" she said uncertain not believing her eyes, there she sat on the opposite end of the campfire but it almost felt like she will disappear if she blinked. She walked closer to the campsite but then she caught of another person aside from Sam and got on edge.
"It's okay he's one of us" sam reassured immediately she caught sight of Lara's change in posture.
"Sorry if I startled you, this place will make anyone a little jumper" He joked as he got off the ground unto his feets with a walking stick held tight in his hands.
"We just spoke to your crew, they're on their way" he informed her hoping to atleast get her to calm down but she still had her guards up not taking any chances, not after what she's been through.
"Look, he brandish my foot" sam smiled as she held out her right feet for Lara to see which caused her to relax but still had her guards up nonetheless.
"It's the least I can do" he waved off her thanks as Lara moved closer to them taking in everything all the while being quiet before Mathias tried to struck up a conversation again.
"Where are my manners, am sorry...am Mathias, a teacher by trade" he greeted with his right hand held out for a handshake which she shaked a bit hesitantly.
"Am afraid am not really cut out for the island life" he joked but Lara just walked pass him and sit down on the ground opposite Sam while Mathias sat down on the far edge of the campfire but not too far away from Sam.
"You look exhausted"
"Yeah, I've been through alot of crap lately"
"Sam here was just telling about the sun queen"
"Right, Himiko"
"Can you tell me more? am intrigued" Mathias asked to which Sam happily indulged him.
"Well believe it or not, a couple thousand years ago, queen himiko pretty much ran things in Japan."
"*Sigh* she loves telling this story...and Naruto always loves to listen to it" she whispered the last part to herself. She had been thinking about the rest of the crew since the day she woke up in that cave, praying for their surviver.
"Himiko's beautiful, enigmatic but also ruthless and powerful. Legend says, she has shamanistic powers"
"And this is where she loses me" Lara sighed
"Well there's always some truth to myths".
"Queen himiko commanded an army of samurai warriors form magnificent storm guard. They rode the wind into battle laying waste to all those who oppose them". Sam continued getting their full attention, well maybe Mathias, Lara looks like she's about to pass out anytime soon.
"They say the sun rose at himiko's command and she rules everything it ray touches. To the mountains, to the sea...and beyond." She explained while spreading out her hands to emphasize just how big she was talking about.
"*Yawn*"
"But what happened?" Mathias voice was the last thing lara heard before she drift off to sleep.
'Am sorry guys...it's all my fault'

It's been two fucking days now and I've still not found out a single clue about where the others could be. Dark bags laid under my eyes, my hair and body covered in dirt and mud. I could really use a good shower and a change of clothes right now. I hid behind a tree and spied on two men conversing with one another under the heavy rain and listened in on their conversation.
(Squishing sound)
The sound of the air being sliced assaulted his ears as the sun ray flashed on his eyes alerting him. He duck just in time to avoid a small axe meant for his neck but struck the tree instead, not batting an eyelid at his close encounter with death he retaliated with a sweep kick sending his would be killer back first to the ground. He pounced on the man but he countered with a kick to the chest sending him back first to the muddy ground. He gripped his chest and went on a coughing fit when he accidentally inhaled some mud, his assailant wanting to end It quickly pulled a pocket knife out of his jacket pocket and stalked towards the down Naruto. He gripped his hair to expose his neck but got hit square in the face with mud ball blinding him before weightlessness fell in as he got torn off the ground by a mean uppercut and hit the ground with a heavy thud forcing the air out of his lungs. Immediately he touched the ground he felt something pointy held up against his neck with his would be victim standing victorious over him.
"*panting*who the hell are you?"

(Heavy rainfall)
Today had not been my day, infact all the days I've spent on this miserable island have not been good to me at all. First I had to abandon naruto, and not a moment later I got separated from the rest of my crew and now I've come to realize that the island I now stand on is the Yamatai itself, that which we have been searching but it cursed. My first day on this island proved that after I found a group of men dressed in winter gear patrolling the forest, I thought I was safe and tried to reach out to them but immediately they saw me they attacked and tried to kill me. I made a promise not to ever do that again, now am stranded on this island with no possible way to contact the others.
After what felt like ages of Walking through the forest plain, I finally caught sight of a figure hiding deep within the bushes, he looked covered In mud but had a radio on him...just what I needed. I stalked towards the figure in the forest as they hid behind a tree with their back turned, I pulled out my axe as quietly as I could and posed to strike, the light shine off it's sharp edge reflecting the sunlight before my axe descended on the ignorant man...or so I thought.
I admit I had expected it to end as soon as it started with me being triumph, but what I hadn't expected was for him to duck just in the nick of time to avoid my axe meant for his head but struck the tree instead and got stuck, not even bothered by his close encounter with death he retaliated with a sweep kick taking my legs right out from underneath me as my back hit the muddy forest plain. He pounced on me but i countered with a kick to his chest sending him back first to the muddy ground. He gripped his chest and went on a coughing fit as he must have inhaled some mud or maybe it was from the air being knocked out of his lungs...I didn't care, I saw an opportunity to end It quickly and I took it.
I pulled a pocket knife out of my jacket pocket and stalked towards him. He looked disoriented but I wasn't paying attention as I gripped him by the hair to expose his neck and went for the killing blow but I got hit square in the face with a mud ball blinding me before I felt complete weightlessness as I took a short flight off the earth by a mean uppercut and hit the ground with a heavy thud forcing the air out of my lungs. Immediately I touched the ground disoriented I felt something pointy held up against my neck as my would be victim stood victorious over me.
'My pocket knife' it took me only a few moments to realize that the pointy object held up against my neck was my very own pocket knife.
'I must have dropped it during my short flight' I thought as I laid defeated in the mud, my soon to be executioner applied pressure to the small blade on my neck causing me to wince in pain before he finally decided to speak with those menacing blue orbs glaring daggers at me, they actually look awfully familiar...like I've seen them somewhere before.
"It's over" a deep voice snapped me out of my thought process. When I turned my head to get a better look at the face of my would be killer my eyes widen in surprise and recognition at the familiar face before me.
"Naruto is that you?"
"... Grim?"

Okay so the past two days have not been the best for me and I mean why would it?, I woke up tied upside down in a fucking cave, got jumped by a caveman, scaled an old crap of metal as it slowly descended to it doom and had to kill some jerks just to survive...so yeah, it hasn't really been the best, that one time I got jumped by a freaking jaguar has taught me to be cautious and observant about my surroundings.
At this point in time nothing could ever surprise me again, So I wasn't surprised when I nearly got my head taken off my shoulders, neither was I surprised by the strength of my opponent, but what I never expected was for my assailant to be the one person I could call a father figure... I mean...
"...what the fuck grim!"
"so it is you"
wham*
"Ow, what was that for?" grim glared at Naruto as he massage his right cheek where Naruto had punched him...and it hurts.
"That was for trying to kill me"
"And how was I supposed to know that it was you?"
"yeah, no offense" Naruto replied dryly as he got off of him before helping him back to his feet.
"who knew you could be so savage, pretty boy"
"Says the man who tried to axe another man's head off"
"You try living two days on this God forsaken island without losing your shit when everyone you meet is trying to kill you, oh wait..you already did." grim mocked him then laughed in his face causing Naruto to grab him roughly by his Shirt.
(leaves rustling)
"Why you bastard, am gonna have your hea-"
"WHO'S THERE!"
"...shit"

(soft wind blowing, shrieking, creaking)
Lara walked through the dense forest terrain, it was dark so she had her flashlight out to see a clear path.
"Sam! mathias! where am I?"
She wandered around looking for a way out of the extremely dense forest. She walked over to the edge of the forest which also happens to be a cliff. She looked down the edge of the cliff to the valley below. Five gigantic faces were crafted out on the side of the mountain but she couldn't see it from the angle that she stood. She continued her walk through the dense forest and arrived at a small cabin at the edge of the dark forest.
She walked up the stairs towards the front door with a spiral symbol on it, she grabbed the handle and twisted it then slowly pushed the door open. Lara walked into what was supposed to be a small cabin but it appeared to be bigger on the inside than it looked on the outside and the hall stretched out for what felt like forever with numerous doors lining both sides of the wall. She strolled down the dark hallway with her torch in hand towards one of the numerous doors and pushed it open.
Once she stepped into the room the door immediately closed shut behind her locking her in. She pounded on the door and struggled to get it open but it won't bulge, deciding to save her energy for whatever lies ahead of her. She continued through the room, the more she walked the more it felt like the room stretched on forever. She finally made it down the end of the room where a giant hole was made in the wall to the other side.
"What the hell? where does this lead to?"
She passed through the hole to the other side appearing in a place where she wished to never be in again.
"Not this place again"
Burning Candles littered the cave walls while some were placed on some sort of alter with torches lined on one side of the cave wall. She turned off the flashlight and grabbed a torch from the nearby wall and walked deeper into the cave. After walking aimlessly for hours She came upon an entrance with a message written at the top of the cave that reads.
"Death is inevitable, you cannot escape this island alive."
"Where have I heard that before?" she searched through her back pocket and pulled out the piece of paper that she found in the underground bunker. she compared the message from the paper to the one written at the top of the entrance and realized that they're one and the same.
"The message from the paper must have been copied from here" she concluded. Wanting to find out more about the message she decided to search around the cave for more clues.
She walked down a path to her left into another area filled with burnout candles and drawing of the sun all over the walls. She moved over to one side of the wall where some words were written and traced it with her finger, it appeared to be written in ancient Japanese but she could still translate it.
"When a man learns to love, he must bear the risk of hatred".
"what's that supposed to mean? She questioned as she tried to figure out what the clue meant when an earthquake suddenly rocked the whole cave and a mighty gust of wind blew out of nowhere.
Lara dug her pry knife into the ground and held on for dear life but the wind was too powerful as it uprooted her pry knife and blew her away. she passed through the cave wall like it wasn't there and came out the other side completely drenched.
"*cough*cough*Something weird is going on around here"
Lara got up and examined her surroundings, it appeared to be a forest unlike the first one that she first found herself in, this one looks more like the one where she first got to when she first escape the cave. But how did the gust of wind bring her here.
"I don't understand what's going on anymore?"
"LARA!" A voice called out from deep within the forest.
"Sam? SAM! WHERE ARE YOU?" she shouted out while looking around frantically.
"AM HERE!"
"WHERE?"
"HERE! FOLLOW THE SOUND OF MY VOICE!"
Lara ran through the forest down the hill towards where she heard sam's voice coming from. She jumped over a brook to the other side and passed a bunker in the middle of the forest. She stopped at a part of the forest after running for awhile.
"SAM! WHERE ARE YOU?"
"HERE! YOU'RE GETTING CLOSER!"
Hearing that she resumed her run through the forest for what felt like hours before halting to catch her breathe.
'What the hell is going on here?' She looked at the bunker beside her in confusion and suspicion.
'I've ran past this bunker three times now'
"LARA!"
'There we go again' she tightened her hands into fists as she got angry when she realized that someone was playing tricks at her.
"WHOEVER YOU ARE! SHOW YOURSELF"
"No need to be so rude lara" the voice said from out of nowhere
(Bang) (Wind howling)
The door to the bunker slammed open startling lara, she slowly backed away from the bunker when a bloodied hand grabbed unto the edge of the bunker followed by a leg before the whole body followed suit. A headless body drenched in blood walked out of the bunker, it had a female head covered in blood with a hole going through her forehead held the hair in it left hand. The head has it eyes closed with a horrified expression on it.
"S..s..sam" at the mention of her name the head opened it eyes and stared at lara with a creepy smile.
"Took you long enough"
"oh my God"
"What?, never seen a Talking head before"
"This is not real" lara shaked her head in denial.
"Don't you remember lara, you killed me"
"No" she keep on shaking her head in denial.
"All it took was an arrow to the head"
"That's a lie, you're not sam"
"Is that so" the head opened up it mouth before pouring out a river of blood that covered the entire forest drowning lara.
"Nooo!" Lara shouted out in horror. She closed her eyes just before she drown in the river of blood.
(Burbling)
She opened her eyes to find herself under water in a sinking ship. She struggled to push through the door but eventually lost oxygen as she began to drown again for the second time that day.
Something grasp her hand and hulled her out of the water and onto solid ground before she fell on her knees and went on a coughing fit.
"Lara!"
"*cough*cough*"
'what the hell is going on?' She couldn't help but wonder at the weird events taking place.
She looked up to see Roth's face before the ship split in half with Roth on the other half of the ship motioning for her to jump with his left hand outstretched.
She made it onto her feets and got into a Sprint, once she got to the edge...she jumped but this time with every ounce of power she had and caught his hand, for a minute there it felt like things were gonna be different this time around until her grip began to slip again and she falled into the raging tides.
"NOOOOOOO!"
"LARA!"

(Thunder boom)
The thunder strike woke Lara from her sleep causing her to fall on her butt. She looked around franticly with fear written all over her face but eventually calmed down when she realized that there was no headless corpse insight.
(campfire crackling)
"Oh thank goodness it was a dream" she sighed out in relief but something felt off.
'Wait where's Sam?"
"Sam...Mathias"
"SAM!...SAAAM!"

(Owl hooting)
(Rustling, campfire crackling)
Naruto sat down on one side of the campfire with grim on the other side. He watch grim fiddle around with the radio trying to get it to work while Naruto picked at the fire with a stick.
"Hello is anybody there? this is grim of the Endurance, do you copy?"
(statistics)
"The only thing am enduring right now are this fucking mosquitoes*slap* arrgh!." Naruto complained at the torture that he was forced to endure but grim wasn't listening.
"Hello, is anybody there?"
(statistics)
"DAMN IT!" he yelled out in frustration and threw the radio at the wall of the abandoned campsite in anger breaking it in two.
"Told you it was a waste of time" Naruto said sarcastically while fanning himself with his shirt to chase the mosquitoes away.
"I can see that now" he sighed in defeat as he rubbed his temple in frustration at the whole situation.
"You've tried your best, maybe it's not meant to b..."
"Hello is anyone there?" At the sound of the voice Naruto quickly grabbed his machete and hurried to his feets looking around frantically while grim had his axe at the ready, all semblance of his earlier frustration gone replaced with complete focus but the next words that were spoken completely shattered their defenses.
"This is captain Roth of the Endurance, do you copy?"
"Roth?" Grim looked at the radio to find out that it was the source of the voice and rushed over to the it with Naruto not far behind.
"Roth is that you?" grim shouted hopefully as he held the radio in his hands. His flames of hope reignited at the voice of his old friend.
"Grim"
"The one and only"
"Where are you?" Roth questioned over the radio and from the sound of his voice he seemed happy.
"We're somewhere in a deep forest, I think it's aro...
"...Are the others alright, Roth?" Naruto interrupted grim before he could go into details asking the more important question that he had been dying to know.
"Naruto is that you?"
"Yes it's me"
"My God, am so happy that you're okay"
"Me too"
"And yes the others are alright, we are meeting at a rendezvous point on the other side of the forest before the river.
(Howling wind)
"Which is..?"
"South, you moron"
"noodles for brain" grim whispered underneath his breath but Naruto heard it and glared viciously at him to which grim feigned ignorance to.
"I'll be expecting you guys at the rendezvous point"
"Sure thing"
"oh and one more thing...please be safe out there"
"We will"
"You too old buddy"
(Connection cuts)

"Well then, there's no time to waste" Grim said putting out the campfire and prepared for their journey south through the rainy storm.
(Thunder strike)
"Let's move it"

"*sigh*"
"How are they?"
Roth turned towards his companion who was sitted on a rock with his hands on his knees. He stared at him for a few seconds before deciding to answer his question.
"They are fine, Jonah"
"So the kid survived, that's good to hear" Jonah sighed out in relief glad that his worst nightmare hadn't come to pass.
"Though if I must ask"
"hmm"
"Why do you care?, you didn't seem to like him at first...what changed your mind?" Roth asked trying to solve the mystery behind Jonah suddenly taking a liking to Naruto.
"hmmm" he stared at Roth for a few moments confused as to why he would ask such a question before deciding to lay down with his back turned to Roth.
"I guess he just rubbed off on me" his answer only served to confuse Roth the more but rather than voice his confusion he decided to let it slide...for now.
"Whatever you say Jonah"

(Naruto ,Grim)
After walking for an hour they made it to an abandoned two storey building guarded by some group of armed men.
"So what now?" Naruto asked after a few minutes of silence. They were currently hiding behind some bushes as grim spied through the telescope that he had stolen from a hunter they had encountered on their way here.
"We keep heading south"
"WHAT?"
"*sheesh*"
"sorry but you can't be serious, that place is swarming with alot of them" He whispered not believing that grim is in his right mind.
"Do you have any better ideas?"
"Yes...like staying alive"
"Oh yeah that sounds so wonderful, and how do you plan on getting to the other side?"
silence.
"That what I thought *sigh* sometimes I forget that you have noodles for brain"
"*Glare*" as much as he hate to deny it, that building is their only way to the other side.
"You see that..." Grim pointed at a Zipline at the top of the building that lead to the other side.
"...That's our only way out of here"
"So it's either do or die"
"You're starting to catch up" Grim ruffled his hair but Naruto pushed his hand away and glared at him.
"Don't ever do that again"
"And who's gonna stop me...come on" Grim walked out of their hiding place with Naruto not far behind him. They made it half way towards the building and quickly hid behind a couple of stacked crates when two hunter type 1 soldiers walked passed. Grim quietly pulled out his axe and cut one of them down, the other barely had enough time to react when a machete flew right over grims shoulder and hit him straight in the head taking him down.
"A little warning next time" Grim glared at Naruto for that stunt but got even more infuriated when he just waved him off.
"Yeah yeah"
"Blonde bastard" he cursed underneath his breath before leaving the way again. They made it towards the front double doors of the building. Naruto pushed it open and Grim walked In followed closely by Naruto. He held his machete at the ready as they walked through a corridor to the left and up a flight of stairs to the second floor. Grim rounded a corridor but had to quickly retreat back when an arrow passed right over his head and embedded itself in the opposite wall.
(Rapid heartbeat, Heavy breathing)
"That was close" Grim stated as his heart skipped a beat in his chest.
"COME ON OUT!"
"Naruto"
"Got yeah" Naruto grabbed his bow then take an arrow from his quiver and nock the arrow. Grim waited patiently for the right moment and ran pass the corridor to the other side.
Naruto stood stock still and only when an arrow flew pass grim did he turn into the corridor and let the arrow fly hitting the hunter straight through the head taking him down in one shot.
"Nice shot" Grim complimented completely taken back by his aim and accuracy.
'I've got to remember to never let him point that at me'.
"Thanks... now let's move"
Naruto ran down the corridor heading left through a door way with grim not far behind him. They made it into another corridor with doors lining both sides and stealthily walked to one of the door and pulled it open revealing an empty room with a staircase leading to the roof. Naruto rushed into the room and headed for the stairs before he got tackled by another one of those hunters but this one had a machete and was about to make good use of it when grim came to his recuse by tossing his axe at the man's neck killing him Instantly and splashing blood all over Naruto's face before he could land a hit.
"Thanks" Naruto appreciated not wanting to imagine what could have happened had grim not been there.
"Don't sweat it" Grim waved him off and helped him back to his feet. They barely had enough time to react when the door to their left burst open and another one of them threw a Molotov at them causing them to jump out of the way. Grim moved in quickly to attack the man when an arrow Hit him in the right shoulder forcing him to take cover behind a wall.
Naruto with his bow and arrow In hand peeked out the side of the wall that he's hiding at but was force to quickly retake cover when a Molotov was tossed at him and exploded against the wall. He looked to the opposite wall to see grim getting ready to attack again despite his injured shoulder. Deciding to take a risk, he placed his bow and arrow back in their place then pulled out his machete. Timing his attack he jumped out of his hiding spot and tossed the arrow at the hunter with the Molotov stabbing him through the chest, the other hunter with the bow reacted quickly by shooting an arrow at him but grim blocked it with a wooden board then hurriedly pulled his axe out of the dead man's skull and hack the hunter's neck killing him instantly before he had the chance to reload another arrow.
"Arrgh" Grim grunted in pain as he dropped the axe and fall down to his knees while holding his right shoulder in pain. Naruto rushed over to him to inspect his wound.
"Are you alright grim?"
"*pant*pant*pant*I would be if I*pant* didn't have to cover for you, pretty boy"
"You must be regretting having me around you, right now" Naruto stated jokingly then gently pulled the arrow out of grim's wound causing him to groan out in pain. He cut off a piece of his pants and used it to tie grims injured shoulder.
"*pant*pant*...not really, you're actually not bad...you just act without thinking about the consequences of your actions".
"Am sorry about that, I just assume that things will work out for the best" Naruto explained himself which only made grim sigh at his way of thinking.
"Come-on...we still have a long odyssey ahead of us". Grim informed him then grabbed his axe and got back to his feets. He pulled out the machete stucked in the Molotov hunters chest and handed it back to Naruto.
"Let's hurry"
It took them only 5 minutes to climb up the stairs and head towards the roof. They had a few skirmish across the way and had expected the rest to be a walk in the park but WHERE THE FUCK DID HE GET THAT MACHINE GUN FROM!.
(Heavy gunfire cracking, whizzing)
Naruto hid behind a metal slate with grim besides him as they were under fire from a machine. Both had their head down and were currently thinking of a way to get pass the MG with the Zipline behind the gunman.
"I never signed up for this"
"Neither did I but we're here now so we have to deal with it"
"DAMN IT GRIM! CAN'T YOU HEAR THAT!...THAT'S THE FUCKING SOUND OF DEATH!"
"Pull your shit together Naruto"
"That's easy for you to say, this shit is too huge for me to pull together" Naruto retorted and peeked out the edge of the wall that he hid on but had to quickly retreat back into his hiding place when a bullet zipped pass his face.
"What's going on back there?" Grim asked as he held his axe at the ready.
"I don't think he's gonna be running out of bullets any time soo...wait" Naruto stopped mid sentence when he remembered catching sight of a barrel lying on the floor of the roof right besides the gunman.
"What is it?" Grim questioned not really in the mood for suspense right now.
"I caught sight of a barrel when I first peeked" he explained grabbing grim's full attention.
"Is it flammable"
"Only one way to find out" he pulled out a lighter out of his back pocket surprising grim that he even had one on him.
"Thought you don't smoke"
"I don't...now all I need is a way to set the arrow head on fire"
"Here, use this" Grim pulled out a hip flask and handed it over to Naruto who raised an eyebrow in confusion.
"Thought you don't drink"
"I carry it around for emergencies*shrug*"
"Fair"
Naruto poured a bit of liquor on the arrowhead and set it ablaze. He waited patiently with hitched breath until the gunman seized fire before moving out of his hiding spot and shot the fire arrow at the barrel next to him causing it to explode setting the man on fire. His scream of agony filled the night air but Naruto quickly silenced him with an arrow through his head.
"Not bad"
"Thanks"
They made their way towards the Zipline that would take them to the other side when grim suddenly fell down to the ground in pain, Naruto stopped mid run and turned around to see why he stopped when he saw an arrow sticking out of grim's left thigh.
"GET THEM!"
More and more hunters rushed onto the rooftops of the building with arrows flying around. Naruto hurried over and helped grim back to his feet then continued towards the Zipline.
"Hurry grim"
"Just save yourself Naruto"
"Not after we have come this far" Naruto said with so more determination that it surprised grim. They had only known each other for barely less than a month and he was already willing to give up his life for him.
He found it so bizarre that while the kid was willing to save him he had already given up. Who was he to give up when someone else was willing to put his life on the life for him...No, he can't give up yet...there's still hope for him.
"GRIM!"
Shaken out of his thoughts he saw Naruto shoot an arrow through one of the goons head spilling out his brain matters.
"MOVE IT!"
Determination filled him to the brim as he staggered back to his feets and hurried over to the Zipline with a limb while using his axe as a walking stick. He made it to the Zipline and used his axe to zip Down the line to the forest plain below before an explosion went off behind him.

"GRIM!"
Naruto called out as he aimed another flaming arrow at a fuel tank and waited with batted breath. He looked back behind him to see grim struggling to get back to his feet with the help of his axe. He turned back his attention towards the men infront of him to see more of them swarming in.
"MOVE IT!" He shouted wuth bead of sweat rolling down his face as adrenaline pumped through his veins. He tightened grip on the arrow and pulled back the string, his could feel his heartbeat in his ears as he began to think about the unthinkable. He looked back again to see grim going down the Zipline.
'Perfect'
He ran towards the Zipline and jumped, he twisted his body 90 degrees and shot the flamming arrow at the tank then caught onto the Zipline with his bow. The fire arrow hit the tank causing it to explode destroying the rooftops and everything on it.
Not long after grim reached the end of the Zipline did Naruto land beside him looking worse for wear. Immediately his feets touched the ground he walked over to check up on grim. When he got close enough he was pulled into a tight hug by grim shocking him for a moment before he regained his senses and hugged him back.
"Am glad you're alright"
"Me too" Naruto said not really knowing what came over him but he wished that this moment could last forever.
A ruffling sound in the bushes alerted the two of a new arrival and Naruto immediately had his bow and arrow at the ready waiting for the whoever it is to reveal themselves but who he saw was not what he expected.
"Naruto...Grim, is that you guys"
"...ALEX!".

Yippee, Alex has been found and who knows what he has been through ever since he got separated from the rest of the crew.
I actually love writing this story cause it helps take my mind off the harsh reality known as life and can you blame me cause the low class life sucks...The PS5 is out but I can't afford it, neither could I afford the PS4 and PS3 *sigh* sucks to be me '_'.
Anyways this chapter was actually meant for character development, so was the last one and if you haven't noticed it yet, I made a few reference to the Naruto verse *deranged smile* ...Yeah am crazy.
