In Flotsam Skyways…
A new Skyway was before the crew as it took them from what they knew of Skull Island.
It was covered in debris, destruction, deadly Water Moles, undead pirates, and other forms of dangerous obstacles. The crew was stunned by the conditions of this newly discovered skyway as there was a deep feeling of dread wherever they sailed this land. Truly, this was the backside of the World of Skull Island, where many things were better left forgotten even by the vilest of scoundrels. Many people considered this place a Witchdoctor's haven or even a softcore version of Darkmoore. It was pulsing with old and dangerous forms of magic…
"Man, this feels like this entire skyway is a ship graveyard. Who would ever want to stay in a place like this?" Emmet questioned as the floating skulls and bones disturbed him.
"Danger often attracts pirates, for where there is danger, there is a prize within to collect." The Marchioness simply informed as she tapped on one of the floating piece of wood from a ship as it was spinning away.
"Great power still resides here for anyone to find, whether good or bad." Itzen Kaan breathed while he wiggled his talons.
"Even many Water Moles learn to respect this great magic within." Nanu Nanu warned as he was breathing a prayer.
"Except for one." Egg Shen frowned as he saw the warring and violent Waponi Wu, who was canoeing in their boats.
"Looks like they're up to something…" Bonnie Anne hummed as scratching her chin.
"We can worry about that once we dock to Flotsam. One-Eyed Jack knows where Ratbeard is heading, and we can get him and the treasure." Isabel countered as she whether to find the rat so he could answer what he'd done to the crew and her, "Everyone gets ready to talk. It's time we talk to a rabbit about a rat."
"Izzy, we will find him. We won't lose him again." Lasko promised, as he knew, this meant a lot to her to find the Rat Captain.
No one betrayed his adopted daughter and got away with it. He definitely doesn't get away with breaking her heart or killing his crew. Ratbeard is going to get it.
At The Black Spot…
The Golden Scorpions barged into the establishment as she searched around for its owner.
Most pirates kept to themselves while a jolly-looking rabbit with an eyepatch was wiping down the counter with a jolly tune playing on his lips. The bunny man looked quite happy while he waved to his latest customers.
"Happy to see another crew of pirates to my place. What may Ol' Flopsy get ya, some Yum and some Chicken? Both are very fresh right now." The white rabbit offered the crew as they sat down at the bar.
"I'm afraid this isn't a social call, Flopsy. Do you know where we can find One-Eyed Jack? He may have some information we need that's important." Isabel informed the rabbit.
"My uncle? Sorry, don't know where he hopped off to. You know him… Er, maybe you don't." He answered as he tried to be charming, "But I do know who could help you. Here, is the address of Mustang Sally. She can point you in the right direction."
"We appreciate this, Flopsy. Thanks." Lasko nodded then took the card.
"Anytime lads and lasses, be sure to give a kiss to Sally for me." The rabbit grinned as he waved goodbye to the pirates then they left the tavern.
"You pulled the cotton wool over the eyes of saps once again, One-Eyed Jack. You are making this into a tradition." One of the cat pirate's guffaws laughed while guzzling his yum.
"There is a reason why rabbits are so lucky, you lot. We are quick on our feet. Besides, I am settling a favor for the rat they're hunting."
"You know they'll be back, and they might try to take your feet."
"Aye, they might. But I needn't worry." One-eyed Jack smirked, "I still know where the rat is."
At Mustang Sally's Apartment…
"Alright, this is it, Izzy," Lasko informed the captain, while the blond girl knocked.
KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK!
"Aye?" A female yet strange accent voice called out.
She didn't sound like she was from Skull Island.
"Mustang Sally? Mind if we come in?" Isabel asked as she waited for the pirate to appear.
The Fencing Horse Woman then opened the door to see the crew. Not seeing a hint of malice or danger from them, she let them in.
"How can Mustang Sally help you?" She offered some tea to the girl, somewhat seeing herself in the rough and tough little girl.
"My name is Isabel Quinn, the Captain of the Golden Scorpions. I was hoping-."
"Quinn, as in the great Pirate Quinn family? It's an honor to have such a member of the virtuous and legendary family in my home." She complimented the girl.
"Thank you. But I was hoping if you could-."
But before she could finish, another group of pirates managed to barge their way in, with swords and pipes!
"Ratbeard sends his regards." One of the Pirate Dogs growled.
Of course, he did.
At The Black Spot…
Izzy was not a happy pirate and that was cleared when "Flopsy" or better than One-Eyed Jack was pinned to the way by her sword and her scorpion's stinger.
"Easy now, Lass. Easy. Now, I know you may not be a tad happy with me-urk!" One-eyed Jack croaked as he felt her boot on his stomach, "Can't we all be pals?"
"Frogfather sent us here so we can find Ratbeard and he has an unfished debt you owe him, so he gave it to me. So, I will ask again. Where is Ratbeard?" Isabel snarled.
"Alright, look, Ratbeard wanted me to make sure no one knew where he was until there was enough time for him to get away. Here is the key to his room, if you hurry, he could still barely be there." He confessed as the girl let him go, "Phew, two debts paid at once. Today is my lucky day."
"Yeah, well next time, don't press your lucky, rabbit," Bonnie warned the rabbit.
The crew then left to find the room and try to make it to Ratbeard.
