Authors Note: Welcome to chapter 6 of "Tornado adopts a Unicorn".

Like I said in the first chapter, this story won't have a deep plot or something like that. It will mostly be fluff between Eri and Tatsumaki. Tatsumaki is way too strong compared to this verse. So the battle's will be short and nothing special.

Why do I tell you that again? Just read the chapter. :)

This chapter is a bit more violent, so be warned.

"Speaking" 'Thoughts' "SCREAMING" "Loud talking or All Might" "REALLY LOUD SCREAMING"

I own nothing! Please support the official release.

Enjoy the chapter.

On another note, I just finished chapter 11. Proofread and everything. I also know how many chapters this story will have. It will end with chapter 15. I just need to think about on what ending I will choose. But I have many weeks as a buffer, so that's nice. :)

Tornado adopts a Unicorn

Tatsumaki woke up with something small clinging to her. As she looked down, she came face to face with Eri, who was peacefully sleeping. She was still resting and snuggled as close to Tatsumaki as possible. Tatsumaki smiled and caressed the girl's head. "Hey Eri, wake up. It's time for breakfast." She whispered softly to Eri.

Eri stirred and slowly opened her eyes. She adjusted to her surroundings and smiled back at Tatsumaki. "Good morning, mommy." She was still a bit sleepy and yawned.

For Tatsumaki, being called mommy by Eri was a bizarre experience. But did she herself look at Eri as her own daughter at this point? It's just a little strange. They have known each other for just a couple of days, and Eri already trusted her this much. It was a strange feeling but a welcomed one.

Was Eri her daughter?

She doesn't know it at this point, but if someone in her home world teases her about it, she will personally rip them a new one.

Little did Tatsumaki know that Eri was gradually becoming her whole world. And subconsciously, she already saw her as her own daughter. She just didn't realize it yet.

"Come on, Eri. We need to eat breakfast and get ready for the day." Tatsumaki said as she saw Eri close her eyes again to keep sleeping for a bit longer.

"Nooo, just 5 more minutes. Please." Eri whined, not wanting to leave the comfortable space, and snuggled closer to Tatsumaki.

"Hmph, if you want to keep staying in bed, that's fine. But I will have all the Omurice for myself then." Tatsumaki teased Eri with her cooking. She may be the worst cook in the world, but Eri likes it, so she will take advantage of that.

After hearing that, Eri sprung out of bed and ran to the bathroom to brush her teeth. Eri knew how to brush her teeth on her own. Well, it was normal for a six-year-old girl to brush her teeth alone, but it was still sad to know she learned it by herself. Because no one under Overhaul was putting in any effort to teach her that.

Luckily, it's all in the past now, and Tatsumaki followed Eri to the bathroom to get ready herself. After they both got ready, Tatsumaki began to cook Omurice for both of them. This time, however, she was prepared. She had ordered a cooking book yesterday, and the finished product spoke for itself.

It was still hot garbage, but at least it was better than yesterday's meal. And Eri seemed to like it too, so that was nice.

The girl looked up from her meal and looked at Tatsumaki expectantly. "What are we going to do today?" She asked excitedly. Every day with her mom was fun and awesome, so this day must be awesometoo, right?

But before Tatsumaki could answer, her phone rang. Tatsumaki held up a finger to let Eri know she would be back in a minute and walked into the living room to answer the phone. "Tatsumaki here, what do you want?" She sounded annoyed, but that was her usual mood.

"Good morning, Tatsumaki. Detective Tsukauchi here. I just want to tell you that we have new information about Overhaul and his operation. If you want to participate in the meeting, you are welcome to do so. It will start in two hours." Tsukauchi told Tatsumaki the exciting news in a surprisingly good mood.

Tatsumaki's whole demeanor changed completely. First, she was annoyed that someone would interrupt her time with Eri. But then a mad grin formed on her face. The thought that the piece of shit would get an ass beating from her today was very pleasing, and her blood began pumping.

But hidden under all that excitement was something dangerous.

Pure fury slowly rose inside Tatsumaki's mind as she remembered what Overhaul had done to Eri.

Tatsumaki answered Tsukauchi with an ice-cold tone that sent shivers down his spine, even over the phone. "Good. Tell me everything after I fly over to you. See you in two hours." And with that, she hung up.

She turned around and walked back into the kitchen to face Eri. She tried to look as calm as possible, but her voice sounded a bit strained still. "I'm sorry, Eri. But I have to do something urgent, so you must be a good girl and stay with Nezu for the time being, ok? I will be back later, I promise." She told Eri calmly as she patted the girl's head and crouched down.

Eri looked at her mom in confusion. "Where are you going, mommy? I thought we would spend the day together?" She didn't want to be left alone. She promised that they would spend at least three days together before she started her hero work.

"I'm sorry little one, but I have to go. I promise I will tell you everything after I'm done. Please be a good girl." She said with her usual soft voice.

Eri still didn't understand it completely, but if her mom needed to do it, she would be a good girl and spend the day with Nezu. "Ok, I'll do it. But please come back." Eri pleaded with innocent eyes.

Tatsumaki nodded at her. "Of course. I will be back before you know it."

And with that, Tatsumaki left Eri with Nezu and flew off to Tsukauchi. It was time to kill some freaks.

/

At the police station, Tsukauchi led Tatsumaki to the debriefing room. The room was void of people, and only two chairs and a projector were inside. Tatsumaki was confused. She thought more people would be part of it. Tsukauchi was speaking like there would be more people present. So why was no one here? "Where the hell is everyone?" She asked him irritated.

Tsukauchi sighed, sat down on one of the chairs, and told Tatsumaki to do the same. "To be honest, the case was completely shut down. We didn't have enough evidence on the Yakuza, and the confession from Toya could not be used because you had tortured him. My superiors told me to just let the case rest. Not only that, but the 'Nighteye' agency has been investigating them for quite some time now and doesn't want to cooperate with you." He told her honestly, in a defeated tone.

He then turned to Tatsumaki and got a little more serious. "But don't snap at me yet, there's more. I knew that what the villain said was true and that Overhaul was torturing a little girl. I don't know why he did that, but what if there are more of them? Children of any age, sitting alone in the darkness, being experimented on. So I ordered you here on secret." Tsukauchi was now smiling at Tatsumaki. He knows that she is tough on the outside, but he saw how she treated Eri on that day here in the station. He will trust her with this information.

He continued his speech in a calmer tone. "I know you want to get your hands on the guy. So, let's just say you got information from an anonymous source that told you where to find their main base. You're so powerful that nobody will question you because they're just that afraid of you. Not to mention, you will get your license in a few days anyway, and it's not like you lack any experience." His tone changed again. It sounded more pleading now. "I will break the rules today because I can't stomach the thought of children getting tortured by some villain. Please stop him, Tatsumaki." He finished his explanation nervously as he touched his neck awkwardly.

Tatsumaki stared at him, perplexed. Did she hear that right? The stuck-up detective wants to give her secret information about Overhaul's operation. Maybe she underestimated him quite a bit. He just climbed up a few steps in Tatsumaki's mind.

She began to smirk and crossed her arms. "Heh, I didn't know you had it in you. But it's good to see that you can use your head for once. So good job." She praised him in an arrogant tone.

But there's still one thing left to discuss. "And what did you say to your superiors for bringing me here? Wouldn't it look kind of suspicious?" She asked him, confused.

The detective smiled at her with a strange expression. He then grabbed something from his coat and gave Tatsumaki a stack of papers. She looked over them, and her eyes widened.

Tsukauchi explained what was on the paper. "These are your adoption papers. Eri is now officially your daughter. And let me tell you how difficult it was to get them that fast in a legal way." Tatsumaki looked up with an unreadable expression, but Tsukauchi was not finished and explained further. "We will tell my superiors that I ordered you here to give you these." He then grabbed a sheet of paper hidden under the other ones and pointed at it. "This letter contains the information about their base and known members." After saying that, Tatsumaki immediately scanned the whole thing and burned the information in her head.

After going over more details, they left the room and walked outside.

Tatsumaki turned around one last time to face the detective. She gave him a genuine smile. "Thank you. And you don't have to worry about anything. I won't tell anyone about our meeting, and I promise to wipe them out completely." And with that, she flew away toward the yakuza base.

She just made a little stop at her house to drop off the papers.

She couldn't believe it. Eri was now officially her daughter, but she still didn't know if she herself saw Eri as her daughter. It was so confusing. She had all these different feelings inside her, but one thing was for sure.

She is a mother now.

Tatsumaki took off again. She has to focus on the mission now.

She looked over the information one last time just to be clear. On her flight, she thought about what Overhaul did to Eri, and her blood began to boil again. She will get her hands on Overhaul. It's just a matter of time now.

Tatsumaki noticed that she got closer to their compound and descended to land in front of their big entrance.

From the outside, the building and the neighborhood looked completely harmless. You would not think that this whole thing was responsible for human experiments and other things.

Before Tatsumaki began to turn this place into rubble, she scanned the whole area to see how big it was. And would you look at that? This whole thing had an underground area. A big one at that.

She scanned further to feel everyone in the facility and neighborhood. Unfortunately, there were still people at home, so she couldn't just lift the whole thing off the ground like she did with the Monster Association.

Eh. She will manage.

Tatsumaki smirked and walked closer to the gate. She rang the bell and was immediately ambushed by someone with great force who crashed through the gate and pushed Tatsumaki away. Well, he tried to push her away, but after the dust settled, Tatsumaki stood before him completely fine and without a scratch on her.

"If the information is correct, you're Rikiya. I don't know why you guys wear that stupid mask, but at least I don't have to look at your ugly faces. Now die." Tatsumaki threatened and released her power.

The man simply laughed at her as he drained Tatsumaki's energy. "Hehe, little girl, you made a great mistake coming here. You see, no matter how strong you are, I will simply absorb your power." He said arrogantly as his trigger-juiced body absorbed the espers energy.

Tatsumaki looked at him unimpressed. She simply raised her left hand and crushed the man into the ground. "I would love to 'play' a bit more with you, but I have important things to do with Overhaul." She boredly said as she vaporized every single bone in his body, damaged his left lung, crushed his kidneys, and deformed his hands and feet. He was part of Overhaul's team, so he was partially responsible for Eri's suffering.

And she will gladly pay them back.

NO. MERCY.

The man lay on the ground, unconscious from all the pain, as Tatsumaki walked past him with a deathly glare on her face.

Some members tried to stop her as she walked through the garden toward the house. Other members were fleeing in fear. She waved her hand, and all of Overhaul's subjects flew through the air at the nearest wall.

Inside, she noticed that no one important was there, so the eight bullets were probably inside the underground area. She blew a hole in the ground and descended.

Underground, she noticed how big this thing really is. Endless tunnels in various directions with no end in sight. She started walking through them when they suddenly bent and wobbled around her. But that didn't stop Tatsumaki as she just flew through them. And every time a tunnel closed before her eyes, she just destroyed it. She flew further ahead, not stopping for even one second.

But to be honest, it got really annoying now. She searched where the epicenter was, grabbed the guy off the wall, and ripped him outside with pure force. Now, a little guy with a skintight black suit and a bird mask was on the ground. Tatsumaki folded her arms over her chest and glared down at him.

"You know, you look just like a monster I fought not too long ago. I wonder what happens when I split you apart like I did with it." She said, smirking down at Mimic. He really looked like a cheap knockoff of Black Sperm.

Mimic tried to run away, but it was in vain. Tatsumaki effortlessly grabbed him and pushed him around like a ragdoll. Tatsumaki walked further through the tunnels with Mimic still in her grasp as she repeatedly rammed him into walls.

The villain had multiple broken bones. His face was caved in, and he was bleeding from every hole in his body. Tatsumaki was not giving him any rest. Only after he fell unconscious did Tatsumaki finally let him down as she walked further through the tunnels.

It was a maze. You can't describe this boring and montone-looking place otherwise. Really, it looked exactly the same at every turn you took, with no variety in it. How can someone work down here? Even the MA had some variety.

Fortunately, Tatsumaki could navigate through this place with her powers. She could feel every person in her vicinity, so she only needed to follow their energy signatures, and that's how she didn't get lost.

Speaking of which, it was time to confront the next three blood bags. In a big open space stood three villains before her. And if the information Tsukauchi provided could be trusted, then the one on the left was Yu Hojo, the guy in the middle was Soramitsu Tabe, and the right one was Deidoro Sakaki.

Without any introduction, Yu instantly covered his body in crystals to cut down Tatsumaki with the crystal blades on his arm. Simultaneously, Deidoro activated his quirk to make Tatsumaki feel drowsy, and the last one, Soramitsu, just sprinted across the room to get a bite out of her.

It was getting ridiculous. Are these people really that dumb? Do they even realize who they are up against? Seriously, it took just one second to fling the crystal guy and the biter into the nearest wall. It was childsplay. Did they not watch her fight against AfO?

The other guy was no problem, either. Tatsumaki may be a lightweight, but even if she drank two bottles of sake, she would still be more dangerous than these weaklings. She grabbed the guy who made her feel tipsy and slammed his head into the ground repeatedly.

Now that that was taken care of, she could begin her little play session with them. She started with Yu and held him in the air with her telekinesis. She then opened his mouth forcefully and smirked dangerously. "I don't think you will need your teeth from now on. Because after I'm finished with you, you will be eating through a tube." She said without remorse.

She began her work. The villain screamed in pain as Tatsumaki pulled out his teeth one after another. After she was finished, she broke his spinal cord and threw him away like the trash he was.

Now, it was the biter's turn.

Tatsumaki focused her energy on his nerve endings and let pure energy flow through them. If you want a description, it would feel like someone was poking your unprotected nerves with electric needles. He screams in agony and falls unconscious.

The last one looked at Tatsumaki in horror. Not even Overhaul was this cruel to them. "Wh- what a- are you? Pl- Please don't hurt me. I will do any-" Tatsumaki shuts him up by closing his mouth with her telekinesis, shattering his teeth in the process. "Shut up. Your death is long overdue. I don't want to hear another world." Her tone was completely emotionless.

Tatsumaki broke his arms and legs and folded his body like a pretzel. She then slammed him into the ground, removed the air around him, and let him nearly suffocate. After he fell unconscious, she continued further.

It was time to finish this. Only three should be left before she would reach Overhaul. And because she knew that Overhaul would try to flee, Tatsumaki created a barrier that encircled the entire facility, trapping everyone inside. It was the same she did with Psykos.

After walking further ahead, she stood in a giant open room like the one two minutes ago. And like before, three people were present. The one on the right was Rappa. Next to him stood Tengai, and the last one was Nemoto.

"What are you doing here?" Nemoto asked without hesitation.

Tatsumaki had no intentions of answering any questions these scumbags had. But surprisingly, her mouth decided to move on its own. "To avenge my daughter." She said automatically. 'What the hell was that? Was that the guy's quirk?'

Nemoto was confused by her answer. "The fuck? What does your daughter have to do with us? Who is your daughter?" He asked again with his quirk. Overhaul has not yet told him that Eri was in Tatsumaki's care.

He didn't know what he was expecting to hear, but the answer he got made his blood run cold.

"Eri."

Tatsumaki's tone was ice cold.

"You're here to avenge Eri? Are you stupid? Do you have any idea how important that brat was for us? Give her back! With her in our grasp again, we will be unstoppable." He said hysterically, thinking that Tatsumaki would just give Eri back after threatening her. But what he said could not have been dumber on his part.

Tatsumaki saw red. This guy will die by her hands. No mercy. She released her killing intent full force. Her aura was so strong that the villain nearly died because of pure fear. He was grabbed by Tatsumaki and screamed in pain after she ripped his balls off.

The other guy tried to save his comrade and created a barrier. Tatsumaki simply moved her fingers and destroyed the whole thing completely. 'What kind of useless barrier was that supposed to be? Pathetic, even Fubuki could've created a stronger one.' She thought as she continued her little torture session.

The soon-to-be dead Nemoto continued to scream as Tatsumaki walked closer to him. "Now it's time for your own little confession. I will let you live if you answer my questions truthfully. Just answer this. Were you part of Eri's torture?" She asked him coldly.

The villain was sweating blood as his fear of Tatsumaki took over."N- no, I was never- AAAHHHHH" He screamed as Tatsumaki increased the pressure on his nerves. "Don't lie to me if you want to live." Her gaze got darker.

"YES! I was there. Please have mercy." He pleaded in despair, but Tatsumaki hardly cared.

"Tch, I'm sure Eri was pleading too, begging you to stop. To give her just a bit of rest. But you guys continued to torture her with no care." She looked down at him. She was absolutely livid. "And I won't care either. Prepare to die." She tossed him on the ground and crushed his body. Only flesh remained on the ground.

Tatsumaki looked sideways at the other people in the room. The one with the barrier stood in fear beside the big guy. But surprisingly, the big guy looked completely relaxed. It was as if he had no fear of Tatsumaki. Strange.

Tengai builds up his barrier again. "Now, Rappa. Attack her. My barrier is up, so you should be fine. Go! ... Hey? ... Attack her, you moron." Tengai screamed at the top of his lungs, but Rappa stood there, not moving an inch.

Tengai was furious. It's always the same with this idiot. Why did Overhaul pair him with this useless piece of garbage? "What are you doing, you moron? If you don't attack her right now, she will ki-" SLAM! Tengai was punched in the face by Rappa and crashed into the nearest wall.

Tatsumaki looked at the scene, confused. What the hell? She decided to let the man explain himself. "What was that for? Don't think I will spare you just because you finished off this weakling. I will get my ha-" She was interrupted by the brute. "That's not it." He said calmly. Tatsumaki didn't know it, but Rappa had never spoken in such a tone before. It was out of character.

She looked at him, confused. 'Let's see where this is going. If he tries to deceive me, I will just finish him off.' She thought as Rappa began to explain himself.

"How's the little one doing? Is she alright?" He asked, surprisingly calm. Ok, now he lost her completely. What the hell is he talking about?

"What do you mean?" Tatsumaki asked, curious.

"I mean Eri. Is she alright? I haven't seen her in the last few days, so I was curious about how she is."

"I don't see how this is any of your business? Are you trying to buy time?" Tatsumaki was confused, she was prepared for anything. It's not like this waste of space could get the better of her anyway.

But Rappa was not bothered by her tone. "Just tell her that Rappa will someday visit her after escaping from prison." He finished and got into a battle stance. "But enough of that, it's time for our fight. I was waiting this whole time to finally fight someone worthy." This time, his tone changed to pure excitement. It was so strange how he switched between his calm tone and this one.

This whole thing was way too much for Tatsumaki. She didn't get anything at all. She decided to immobilize him after he rained down punches at her barrier. "I don't know what the hell your problem is, but tell me why I should tell Eri anything?"

Rappa tried to break free, but it was in vain. Tatsumaki was just too powerful. And in the end, he just explained himself. "I live by one principle. I will fight everyone who is strong. And if one person can defeat me, I will follow that person till I'm strong enough to defeat them. So, after Overhaul defeated me in a match, I decided to follow him and challenge him againin the future. I love fighting. It's just so fun to beat the crap out of strong opponents. But what Overhaul did to the little one was something only a coward does. She couldn't fight. She was weak. I did not approve of that. That's it. Now finish me off." He finished his explanation.

Tatsumaki looked at him strangely. She couldn't decide what to do with him. On the one hand, he is part of the group that hurt her little girl, but on the other hand, he himself did not approve of Eri's torture. He still didn't stop Overhaul, but ...

It was a difficult decision, but Tatsumaki decided to let him off scott-free. "Hmph, I will let you go this time. Go to the police and hand yourself over without resisting. If you don't do that, I will hunt you down." Tatsumaki told him sternly with her usual cold glare and walked past him.

"Heh, I will get stronger and challenge you again in the future. Prepare yourself." Rappa told her excitedly and walked in the opposite direction.

Tatsumaki didn't hear his last words. Her mind was occupied with something more important. Did she refer to Eri as her daughter after the guy with the truth quirk asked her his question?

Shaking her head, she walked further ahead. There are more important things to worry about.

Because now, it was time to confront Overhaul. She will enjoy seeing his face in pain.

This whole time, she could feel someone breaking apart her barrier, but she always repaired it instantly. It was definitely Overhaul. She couldn't sense anyone else in their base. Tatsumaki successfully rendered every villain in this whole organization immobilized or unconscious, be it someone from the Eight Bullets or a random thug. She finished every single one of them. And now there are only two left.

She walked through the corridor in anticipation. It was finally time to confront Overhaul.

The images of Eri getting ripped apart flashed through her mind. How Eri begged him to stop, but he continued to torture her for multiple hours a day.

And there he stood. He was in front of her barrier with Kurono next to him. He turned around and looked at Tatsumaki with a sneer on his face. His stupid bird mask, fortunately, hinders Tatsumaki from seeing his butt ugly face. Tatsumaki was looking at him furiously. Her cold glare was penetrating, and her killing intent was released full force. She will show him no mercy.

Overhaul pressed a button and began to monologue. "Tch, you diseased people come here on my property and destroy my lifework. You do as you please and have the audacity to look at me with such a face? You people disgust me. You all should be purged from this earth." He spat at Tatsumaki, who looked at him outraged.

Did he really just say that? "You should shut up if you know what's good for you. But it doesn't matter anyway. I will rip you apart the same way as you did with Eri. Only that it will be ten times worse. Prepare yourself." Tatsumaki threatened him as green aura formed around her.

But before she could do anything, a purple vortex appeared between the three. And as quickly as it appeared, it vanished, leaving Tatsumaki alone in the corridor.

What?

...

WHAT?

That did not just happen, right? Did she just let Overhaul escape? No way. No way. No way. NO FUCKING WAY!

"RRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAARRRRGGGGGGHHHHHH DAAAMMMIITTT!" She screamed enraged.

She destroyed everything around her in rage. The earth rumbled and it could be felt for multiple miles around the area.

Tatsumaki was pissed. In her fury, she completely forgot about the other residents in the area. The earth was shaking so intensely as if an earthquake was happening. She blew a hole through the ceiling and flew off to a random wasteland to destroy Mother Nature.

Mountains were vaporized, and whole forest areas were wiped off the map completely. Tatsumaki didn't stop.

She failed. She failed completely. Overhaul could escape, and she did jack shit to him. She couldn't even hurt him even a bit. It was a complete failure. She was a failure.

She continued to rampage for multiple hours. It was late in the afternoon when she finally calmed down and returned to the police station.

It was there that Tatsumaki learned from Tsukauchi that the police got many different calls around the area because a giant earthquake was happening. They thought it was a villain attack. Fortunately, it was reason enough to raid the place and arrest every member still present at the facility. Some of them were so injured that they would never live normally again.

Tatsumaki was unusually quiet this entire time. Tsukauchi thought she would be happy for her successful raid, but she just stood there completely emotionless.

Tsukauchi's words didn't improve Tatsumaki's mood in the slightest. But at least Overhaul's operation was stopped for the moment.

Now, she needs to confront Eri. What will she even tell her? "I raided the Yakuza, but Overhaul could escape?" Yeah, that would only scare Eri more. Ultimately, Tatsumaki decided to fly home and see where it goes from there.

She landed in front of her house and flew inside. She had received a notification from Nezu earlier that he had dropped off Eri five minutes ago, so presumedly, Eri was inside, watching TV. Tatsumaki entered her home and was immediately tackled by Eri. "Mommy! You're back." The small girl smiled at Tatsumaki, and her bad mood vanished completely. She smiled down at Eri and stroked through her hair with affection.

"Yeah, it was a busy day for me. Now tell me, what did you do with Nezu today?" She asked her fondly as she picked her up and walked to the kitchen to get something to eat for them.

Eri's smile brightened as she explained her day to Tatsumaki. "It was so cool. Nezu showed me videos of this sports festival thing, where students partisci- partipi-" "Participated, Eri." "Yeah, that. And then we visited other teachers, and one of them was this scary-looking guy. But he was really friendly and showed me cool tricks with his scarf thingy, and then ..." Eri continued to talk about her day, and Tatsumaki listened happily.

Eri was still in Tatsuamki's arms as she prepared something to eat. Cooking would normally be difficult when you have only one free arm, but Tatsumaki was an esper and could manage without a problem.

After preparing their food, Tatsumaki placed Eri on a chair and sat in front of her. She used her powers in secret to get something off the table in the living room she wanted to show Eri.

Eri finally finished her retelling of the day and began to eat herself. " ... but tomorrow, I want to spend the day with Mommy. You didn't forget, right?" She asked with big eyes.

Tatsumaki smiled kindly at her. "I didn't forget. And the reason why I was gone is something I like to show you now." Tatsumaki reached behind her, and the adoption papers flew straight into her hand. She decided to keep today's failure a secret for now and only tell her about the adoption being official now.

She placed the papers on the table, and Eri stared at them in confusion. She looked up at her mom with question marks in her eyes. "What's this?"

"These right here are your adoption papers. It means that I'm officially your mom now. And for me, it means that you are my daughter now." Tatsumaki explained happily to Eri.

After hearing that, Eri had the biggest smile on her face. She didn't understand why someone needed a paper for that, but she was happy regardless. Her mom was her mom. It made Eri very happy, and she stood up to embrace her mother in a tight hug.

They both hugged, with Tatsumaki stroking the girl's back. "I love you, Mom." Eri said fondly.

These four words made Tatsumaki's chest feel warm and fuzzy. It was the best feeling she ever had.

Yeah, now she understands.

Eri is her daughter.

"I love you too, sweetie."

The rest of the day was filled with watching movies and playing games on the console Nezu bought for Eri today.

Who cares if she bombed the mission today. It feels so insignificant if she can enjoy the day with her daughter.

"Oh, right!" Tatsumaki suddenly exclaimed.

Eri looked at her mom in confusion.

Tatsumaki reached into her pocket and pulled out a candy apple. She handed it to Eri. "The detective from two days ago gave this to me today. It's my favorite food in the entire world. Go on, try it."

By the end of the day, Eri was as addicted to candy apples as Tatsumaki.

End of chapter 6.

I hope you enjoyed the chapter.

I am completely aware that Overhaul met the league later in the story but Tatsumaki's appearance changed the canon timeline.

I tried to write the fights as long as possible but the villians are just too weak and Tatsumaki is not someone to draw out the fight, especially now that she wants to get revenge for Eri.

I also changed Rappa's character a bit. I wanted to write something different, and not the 30th same beat down of a villain.

Well that's all folks. Please review. :)

Bye.
