Dean

She was breathing hard. I couldn't believe what Alyra had just said. She loved me? That's not possible. She made it clear that I wouldn't be anything other than my fathers yes man. She did everything to get Sam out of the life. She stayed in touch with Sam and left me in the dust.

"You're a liar," she frowned, "you say you love me, but you don't know what love is. You have never been there for me. You have never defended me the way you have Sam! I have always just been my fathers yes man too you!"

She shook her head, "that's not true, Dean! I wouldn't have promised your father to stay by your side! I wouldn't be here if I didn't! I wouldn't have defended you to other hunters! I didn't blame you when I first met you for your fathers mistakes! I put the blame on the one person it belonged to! John! I wasn't the one who called you a yes man! That was Jess! I never agreed with her! I never called you by that name! I knew the truth! I knew what kind of person you really were! The kind of man you are! I know that if it wasn't for you Bobby wouldn't have given me the light of day. I wouldn't have gotten to meet my dad. You're the only reason he gave me a chance. The boy who stayed silent when it came to his father's decision spoke up. That was enough for Bobby. That was enough. You're the reason he and I talk. We stay in touch all the time. You're the reason I have a relationship with him, Dean. That is one of the reasons why I love you. I've always liked you, but that was one of the moments where my feelings for you grew."

She turned away from me.

"I would do anything to keep you safe, Dean. That also means I'd do the unthinkable and do this for your dad. In the end I may hate his guts, but you and Sammy are his boys. I know you're in danger and so does he. In the end he's your dad. So I said yes to his request because I knew the danger was upon us and I already knew it was coming. I tried to stop it, but I can't do it alone. Neither can you, Dean. None of us can. Hunters are always alone, but in this case. We need to stick together." Her shoulders were trembling.

I walked around and stood in front of her. She was looking down at the ground. Then I heard her sob. Then she went silent.

"Alyra," she shook her head, "no. I can't stress this enough, Dean. Whatever this thing is. Whatever is coming for your family. It's coming for me as well because I'm involved. Whatever demon targeted Sam, caused something else to target me. Losing Jess was just the first. The first of many. I didn't choose to stay by your side because of your dad. I'm staying by your side because I love you. I have since I met you. Yeah it started out as a crush, but I saw the real you when you told Bobby to give me a chance. You showed me your true colors that day, Dean. That no matter how much you were under your dads thumb you still showed me the real you. The feelings grew from there."

She didn't look up at me. I reached for her chin and made her look at me. Her blue eyes were bright with unshed tears. I couldn't blame her. Not with those tears in her eyes and the self blame that I could see in those blue eyes of her. I leaned forward and kissed her forehead. She sobbed and gripped my shirt. I pulled her into my arms.

"I've got you, Alyra. I've got you." She nodded against my chest.

Her arms wrapped around my torso.

"I've got you too, Dean. I always have and I always will." She looked up at me.

She smiled and leaned up and kissed me. Then she pulled away.

"We should head back. It's late and we need rest. We have an early morning tomorrow," she wrapped her arms around my neck, "I love you, Dean and I will always be here for you and your brother. Always, Dean."

I slid my hands down to her thighs and picked her up. She yelped and gripped onto me with her legs. Her arms tightened around my neck. She looked surprised. I chuckled and she stuck her tongue out at me.

"I wasn't expecting you to do that," she bit her lip, "we really should head back to the hotel."

She leaned her forehead against mine and closed her eyes.

"What if I don't want to," her eyes shot open, "don't tease me, Dean. We have to. We have a job, Dean. Someone who needs us."

She looked down at my lips and then her blue eyes met mine.

"I want you, Dean. I really do. You have no idea how much I want you. Or how long I've wanted you," I smirked up at her, "oh I think I do. I remember that day I came to see you at Sam's party. You were trying so hard that day not to let your desire get the best of you."

Her cheeks turned red and she looked away, "Alyra."

She looked back at me. Her face was red and she was biting down on her bottom lip. I slipped my hands under the back of her shirt and she gasped.

"Dean," I put pressure on her back pushing her closer to me, "I want you, Alyra. Just as bad as you want me."

She gasped and tightened her legs around my waist. She closed her eyes and grit her teeth.

"Dammit, Dean." She gripped my hair in her hands and kissed me hard.

I slid my hands back to her thighs and gripped them. My fingers digging into her thighs, causing her to moan. She pulled away panting, trying to catch her breath.

"Dean, if you keep this up we aren't gonna get back to Sam tonight. Or be able to finish the job," she shook her head and sighed, "you are going to make it incredibly hard to focus on anything or get anything done."

She bit her lip and rested her head against mine. I let her down. She kept her arms around my neck. She looked up at me and smiled.

"I want to explore this. These feelings between us. Even if that means we have to do it while we continue doing jobs. I want to be with you, Dean. It's always been you." She played with the hair at the nape of my neck.

"I want that too, Alyra. I can't promise it won't be without some growing pains," she laughs, "I know and I am prepared for a few of those. I know this won't be easy, Dean, but I am in it for the long haul."

"Let's get back to the motel." She smiled at me.

"You better hold on, handsome. I don't think you've ever ridden on a motorcycle." I smirked at her.

"Is that a challenge," she laughed, "you bet it is, Winchester."
