Chapter 33 – A New Dragon

"It should be about time, I think." Cana smiled as she looked into the living room of the Dragon's Den.

"We'll know soon enough." Lisanna was nearly bouncing on her heels in excitement. This would be their first new Dragon Sister outside of their family that had grown up together.

"Did she ever choose an Element?" Erza looked curious as Lucy didn't seem to have anything prepared to align her Dragon Slayer Magic to.

"She didn't tell any of us if she did." Mira shook her head after a moment to think. Perhaps Lucy was choosing something that one of them could provide?

Meanwhile, Lucy was happily snuggled up with Natsu, completely oblivious to the conversation in the other room. The blonde breathed in Natsu's scent as she nuzzled into the crook of his neck. His hands held her close, arms wrapped around her, and Lucy honestly couldn't think of anywhere she'd rather be than in Natsu's embrace. She'd become more and more aware over the course of the Dragon Soul Ritual that was something changing within her. Her Magic had been feeling slightly different as the days passed and even her body felt stronger. Now it all seemed to be culminating together and it was making Lucy feel odd, but in a good way. Like pleasant tingles throughout her form that would lead to something even better.

"There it is, did you feel your Magic shift?" Natsu's question was answered by Lucy capturing his lips in a deep kiss as she moaned into his mouth upon the ritual's completion.

"Mmm~" Lucy couldn't describe the feeling other than euphoric. It was more than she imagined and the only response she had was to return a fraction of the pleasure to Natsu through their lip lock.

"Is that a 'yes', Lucy?" Natsu smiled warmly at her once they separated their lips from each other.

"Yesh~" Lucy slurred slightly, holding onto Natsu as the shift throughout her Magic and body began to die down and the pleasant tingling slowly faded away.

"Intense, isn't it?" Lisanna giggled as she peeked over the back of the couch. Erza, Mira, and Cana were right beside her, all of them with knowing looks and grins.

"I feel good." Lucy's brown eyes refocused and she gently kissed Natsu again before sitting up, straddling her boyfriend while she stretched her arms above her head.

"Did you decide on an Element, Lucy?" Cana questioned, leaning over the back of the couch curiously.

"Yeah…" Lucy had a little grin as she moved off of Natsu and stood on her own feet. "I just need to go get it." Not explaining what 'it' was, Lucy headed up the stairs.

"What is she getting?" Erza tilted her head.

"Maybe that weird Lacrima she got when she saved Loke?" Natsu guessed as he sat up on the couch. He was bare-chested, as he often was at home, and Lucy had always seemed to like it while they cuddled, so he stayed that way during her ritual.

"The one filled with the Spirit King's Magic?" Mira blinked, her blue eyes looking at the stairs where Lucy had gone. "What kind of Dragon Slayer is she going to be then?"

"A Celestial Spirit Dragon Slayer?" Erza tested the name and didn't seem to like it.

"Spirit Dragon Slayer?" Lisanna offered her own idea.

"Celestial Dragon Slayer?" Cana guessed and sort of liked how that one sounded.

"Star Dragon Slayer!" Natsu punched his fist into the air with a big smile.

"You're pretty close." Lucy laughed as she came back down the stairs with the Lacrima in her hands. The crystal still had the starlight-like Magic within it, still making it look like the night sky was within the Lacrima. "I asked Old Man Crux about it and he confirmed it for me." The blonde winked at her family as she headed towards the front door.

"Wait, so which one of them was right?" Mira followed after Lucy along with the rest of the Dragon Slayers.

"I'll let Crux explain." Lucy knew how much the old Spirit liked to share his knowledge with others. With a flick of the proper Silver Key, Lucy summoned her Spirit. "Open! Gate of the Southern Cross! Crux!" A glow of golden light along with a brief flash of smoke and the cross-headed Spirit was floating in the air. "Crux, could you tell my family what you told me last night?"

"Hmm?" Crux raised his hand to his face before seeming to recall what Lucy meant. "Ah, yes, yes, of course." He nodded before motioning the others to gather around. "In regards to Dragons within the Celestial Spirit World, they do or did exist in the past."

"There are Dragons in other worlds too?" Natsu blinked, he hadn't thought about such a thing before and Igneel had never mentioned it.

"Yes, never very many, but a few throughout the ages." Crux nodded to the Magma Dragon Slayer.

"What's a Celestial World Dragon like?" Happy piped up with a question for the Spirit.

"Hmm, they're very similar to Earthland Dragons." Crux hummed thoughtfully while stroking his mustache. "Large, powerful, immense appetites and the only one they really listened to was the Celestial Spirit King. I believe there may still be a few living throughout the vastness of the Celestial Spirit World to this day."

"What kind of Magic do they use?" Mira was the next one with a question.

"Celestial Spirit Magic falls under the broad category of Spatial Magic." Crux replied after a moment to look at Mira. "It also has relation to Light Magic and Celestial Spirits themselves can possess certain Magics of their own. Celestial Dragons, though they are sometimes known as Star Dragons, devour ethernano aligned with both Spatial Magic and Light Magic."

"So, Lucy would eat light and space?" Lisanna put her index finger on her chin cutely. A little daydream of a chibi Lucy biting a piece of reality out of the air played in her head.

"Light is easy enough…but how do you eat space?" Erza had confusion written on her face. It was a rather adorable sight to see Erza confused like this.

"Ethernano comes in many alignments to nature," Crux slowly waved his hand in a circle through the air. "Some of those Magical particles are naturally aligned to Spatial attributes, though they are in lesser amounts than ones attuned to things like Wind, Water, Earth, and the like."

"So, Lucy could eat some 'space' just by consuming light too, I guess?" Cana surmised after a moment to think about it. "Well, at least I won't be the only one with an odd Element anymore." She laughed and pulled Lucy into a one-armed hug.

"Thank you, Crux." Lucy smiled at the old Spirit and let him return home. "So, I just have to empty my Magic reserves, right?"

"Yep, once your reserves are depleted, then your new Dragon Slayer body will be able to eat an Element of your choice to replenish your Magic." Natsu explained with a smile.

"Then I'll show you guys something new!" Lucy pecked Cana's cheek as she left the one-arm hug and strode forward into the large field in front of their home. She pulled one of her Golden Keys off her belt and held it forward. "Open! Gate of the Archer! Sagittarius!" With a bell-like sound and a bright light, a Spirit appeared.

Sagittarius was a tall, black-haired and somewhat lanky man sporting a full horse costume over his body, his face visible through a hole at the costume's neck. Over the horse costume, Sagittarius wore a green vest with yellow trims over a white dress shirt, followed by a red and yellow pair of striped pants and purple frills. His weapon of choice was a large silvery bow that was fastened to his back by a red strap along with an equally large quiver full of arrows.

"Moshi moshi! I've come at your call, Miss Lucy!" Sagittarius saluted her with a nod.

"This is Sagittarius, the Golden Key I got back on Galuna Island was his." Lucy introduced her family to her newest Celestial Spirit.

"A pleasure to meet you all!" Sagittarius greeted the group with a wave.

"It's a horse-man?!" Happy exclaimed while pointing at Sagittarius.

"Or is it a man-horse?" Natsu looked between Happy and Sagittarius.

"Neither, you goofs." Mira laughed at the two of them. "It's a man in a horse costume."

"I need to deplete my Magic reserves, Sagittarius." Lucy smiled at her Spirit. "So, I thought we could do some practice."

"Moshi moshi, an excellent idea, Miss Lucy!" Sagittarius smiled at his newest Key Holder. He took the bow from his back along with an arrow from his quiver. "I am ready to begin whenever you are."

"One sec," Lucy held out her right hand to her side. "Star Arms: Sagittarius!" In a golden glow, a bow in gold and black color appeared in Lucy's hands.

"Lucy…you don't have any arrows." Erza pointed out, noticing the lack of a quiver.

"No need, the Star Arms of Sagittarius is a Magical Bow that lets me make arrows from my Magic!" Lucy beamed at Sagittarius, making the Zodiac Spirit chuckle at how much Lucy enjoyed his weapon.

"And you're getting better every time we practice, Miss Lucy." Sagittarius praised the blonde with a smile. "If you're ready to begin, draw." He nocked his arrow and drew back on the bowstring. Aiming towards the sky, he held position.

"Ready!" Lucy drew back her own bowstring, a yellow light forming into an arrow as she did so. After taking a second to adjust her aim to match Sagittarius's, she was ready. "Pull!" The arrow from Sagittarius's bow rocketed high into the air and was out of sight almost instantly. Lucy released her Magic arrow right after and a small burst of light showed that she'd managed to hit Sagittarius's arrow in the sky. "Got it!"

"Very good, Miss Lucy." Sagittarius smiled brightly.

"Way to go, Lucy!" Natsu and Happy cheered loudly while the other clapped for Lucy's shot.

"I'm glad that I'm getting better." Lucy looked off to the side while scratching her cheek. "I was a disaster the first few times."

"Practice makes perfect, Miss Lucy, your skill will only grow." Sagittarius nodded with utter surety. "Now, let's try two at once." He nocked two arrows this time and pulled back the string. "If you can hit both before either hits the ground again, then you're successful." He fired upwards again, this time without warning.

"Sagittarius!" Lucy panicked for a split-second before drawing back her bowstring. The arrow of light formed and Lucy took aim at her first target. She wasn't anywhere near good enough to try firing multiple arrows yet, so she'd have to shoot them down one at a time. She fired her first arrow and watched as it flew. With some relief, it struck one of Sagittarius's arrows and Lucy quickly drew back for another shot. "Fly!" The arrow of Magic was released and flew through the air. It also ended up flying past the now falling arrow she was aiming at. "I missed!" Two more shots later and Lucy hit her target shortly before it hit the ground.

"You got it, Lucy!" Lisanna congratulated her new Dragon Sister with a brilliant smile.

"Let's keep going!" Lucy looked determined and Sagittarius chuckled while drawing another pair of arrows.

'She's truly an interesting Key Holder.' Sagittarius thought as he released the two arrows into the sky. 'Friendly and easy to get along with, but with a desire to learn and grow as well.' The archer felt that he'd have a very nice time with Lucy as his contracted Mage.

"I do like this two-birds with one stone approach." Erza complimented Lucy's idea for draining her Magic reserves. "Practice with her newest Star Arm while also lowering her reserves at the same time." She nodded with a smile. "It's very good."

"I do kinda wonder how many arrows she can fire before she runs out though." Mira grinned as Lucy let another arrow of Magic fly from her bow.

"We'll see soon enough, oh, she got that one quick." Cana noticed that Lucy had shot down one of her targets before it reached the apex of its flight.

About half an hour later and Lucy was breathing heavily and sweat was running down her face. She let the gold and black bow return to the Celestial Spirit World and put her hands on her knees. She stood back up after a moment to look at Sagittarius with a small smile.

"You did very well this time, Miss Lucy." Sagittarius praised with a smile of his own.

"I still…missed a few." Lucy was slowly getting her breath back.

"But you hit far more." Sagittarius placed his hand on her shoulder reassuringly. "You'll only get better as you continue to practice."

"Thanks, Sagittarius." Lucy gave him the best smile she could at the moment before he returned home in a flash of golden light.

"Hungry?" Natsu had a wide grin on his face as he walked up to Lucy with the Lacrima she'd gotten from meeting the Celestial Spirit King.

"Starving." Lucy giggled lightly as she took the Lacrima when Natsu handed it to her. "This isn't going to hurt my teeth, is it?" It was still a crystal…she'd never consider trying to bite it normally.

"Nah, you've got fangs now." Cana reminded while pointing at her own.

"Right," Lucy ran her tongue over her new fangs for a second. "Okay…here I go." She opened her mouth and took one of the slightly protruding spires of crystal from the main part of the Lacrima between her teeth. With a long pause, meeting the eyes of each member of her family, she bit down and cracked the crystal. 'Owie!' Lucy felt the sting of pain from crystal shards in her mouth. The feeling was quick to vanish as the shards vaporized into ethernano and Lucy instinctively swallowed it down.

"There it is." Mira and Cana giggled together as Lucy's eyes widened and had sparkles in them after her first bite.

'It's good…really good!' Lucy used her fangs to crack off more of the Lacrima and then crushed it between her teeth. There was no pain this time at all. Only the supremely satisfying feeling of the Magic filling her mouth and then her stomach as she swallowed. It was a dense, savory taste for Lucy, like a delicious rich stew. The sheer amount of Magic trapped within the Lacrima was definitely abnormal, but coming from the Celestial Spirit King, that was probably to be expected. Another piece was bitten off, not so much cracking this time as just cleanly fracturing, before Lucy chewed it into fragments that evaporated into more ethernano for her to consume. All too soon, for Lucy's new appetite anyway, the Lacrima was gone and her stomach was full as it rapidly processed the ethernano she'd consumed into her own Magic reserves.

"Lucy, you're glowing." Lisanna and Happy were quick to point out the gold aura filled with star-like sparkles surrounding her.

"I am…" Lucy agreed as she looked over herself. "This will fade, right?" She looked at Natsu and the others.

"It should…" Natsu grinned at her. "But maybe it won't and you'll always be glowy from now on, Lucy."

"Natsu…" Lucy pouted at her boyfriend.

"I'm just joking." Natsu laughed as he pulled Lucy into a hug. Lucy proved that she wasn't even slightly mad at him when she immediately returned his hug.

"We'll have to start teaching you some basic Dragon Slayer Spells soon, Lucy." Lisanna smiled brightly at the new Dragon Sister. "Light is similar to Fire in some ways, so I can help with that one, at least a little."

"Space might be a bit harder." Erza, Mira, and Cana shared a look at that. No one in Fairy Tail used Spatial Magic beyond things like Requip. To actively use Spatial Magic for combat or even traveling from one point to another would require some study on Lucy's part.

"I'll figure it out." Lucy pumped her fist. "It won't be the first time I've studied up on Magic after all." She winked at her family with a smile. "Maybe I should wait a bit though? My Magic feels kind of funny right now."

"That's your Element settling." Mira assured her that it was normal. "It takes about a day for your Magic to stabilize, but you'll be good to go right after."

"That's good, we'll be starting to accept Quests soon enough." Lucy clenched and unclenched her hands a couple of times in front of her eyes. "We could always use some more cash, right?"

"Considering that we just added another Dragon Slayer's appetite to the household?" Happy snickered at the blonde, making Lucy blush and stomp her foot on the ground.

"You want a spritzing from the spray bottle, cat?!" Lucy threatened and Happy immediately flew to hide behind Lisanna.

"Lisanna, save me!" Happy cried out as he clung to her back.

"You have to behave, Happy." Lisanna looked over her shoulder at the blue cat. "I won't protect you from the consequences of your own misbehavior." She gave him a smile, but Happy felt his fur nearly stand on end from it. Who said only Mira could make a smile look scary?

"You're gonna be such a good mother when the time comes, Lisanna." Mira beamed at her little sister.

"Since we still have the afternoon, should we head to the Guild?" Erza asked, looking at each of her family in turn to get their opinions.

"Sure, just let me wash up quickly." Lucy motioned to her disheveled hair and the sweat she'd worked up with Sagittarius.

"Need a hand, Lucy?" Cana wiggled her eyebrows suggestively.

"I'm pretty sure that would make it take longer." Mira remarked with a playful smirk.

"Boo~ Spoil my fun." Cana stuck her tongue out. "Mmph!" Only to have Mira take the unintentional bait and kiss Cana deeply. The Booze Dragon Slayer and the Forest Dragon Slayer hummed in pleasure as they shared a full-on French kiss in front of their family.

"Better?" Mira grinned after pulling back.

"A bit." Cana's hands slipped around Mira to take a playful grab of her bountiful bottom.

"I'm just going to hurry and get washed up and changed." Lucy jogged into the house with a slight blush, but a large smile on her lips. Her family was full of love for each other, and what could be better than that?

-In the Bathing Area-

"Hmm…" Lucy looked at her reflection in the mirror after her quick shower. She opened her mouth and touched her new fangs with the tip of her index finger. It might take a little getting used to, but they certainly didn't detract from her smile. Her next interest saw her leaning closer to the mirror to look at her eyes. Slitted pupils stared back at her, as she knew they would, but other than the change in shape, her brown eyes were still as bright and warm as ever. "Not too bad." She hummed with a grin before giving her reflection a cute wink. She dressed quickly and put her hair into the normal side ponytail with the ease of practice before heading back outside.

"Ready, Lucy?" Natsu smiled and offered his hand.

"Ready." Lucy took his hand as they started walking towards the Guild construction site.

-Fairy Tail Guild Site-

"Yo!" Loke greeted the Dragon Slayers shortly after they arrived.

"Loke?!" Lucy nearly gaped at seeing her newest Spirit waiting for them. "How? I didn't summon you?"

"It's not so hard to pass through our Gates without being summoned, most of us just don't do it because it can be pretty tiring." Loke chuckled at Lucy's expression. "I wanted to say thank you again, Lucy."

"It's fine," Lucy smiled at him. "It was for a friend. I'd do it every time without question. We all would." Her statement got nods of agreement from all of them.

"Seriously though," Natsu looked at Loke closely. "You're a Celestial Spirit?"

"Yeah, that's the truth." Loke rubbed the back of his neck.

"But you're not a cow or a horse…" Happy flew around Loke's head.

"Neither is Virgo. You've met her, Happy." Loke reminded the flying cat. "Sagittarius just wears a costume too."

"Loke's full title would be Leo of the Lion Palace." Lucy informed the others and Loke nodded with a small smile.

"Lion?!" Happy exclaimed, looking at Loke with newfound respect. "That's like the most grown-up cat ever, right?!"

"Exactly." Loke agreed with a chuckle.

"Don't mislead him." Lucy deadpanned at Loke.

"You still look like you always did." Lisanna noted Loke's current appearance. "Is that normal too?"

"Well, it might not be possible from now on." Loke answered simply. "Lucy is my Key Holder now, so I'm at her bidding." He looked at Lucy with a slight grin. "I have to be Lucy's knight in shining armor, appearing to rescue her whenever she's in danger."

"I'd rather have the fearsome Dragon, thanks." Lucy shot him down while winking at Natsu.

"What about both the Knight and the Dragon?" Loke leaned in with a suave tone.

"You go back home and rest, Mister." Lucy lightly flicked his forehead making Loke lean back with a chuckle.

"Wait just a minute…" Loke reached into his jacket pocket and pulled out four slips of paper. "Here!" He handed them to Lucy with a smile.

"What're these?" Lucy looked at the top paper and saw the name 'Akane' in red print on it.

"I can't spend long periods of time in Earthland anymore." Loke reminded them all with a casual shrug. "Those are tickets to a resort hotel I was planning to go to with my girlfriends, but…" He motioned to his slightly recovered form. "Anyway, I feel like I owe you, so they're yours. Go and have fun." Loke shot Lucy a wink as he saw her eyes light up.

"At the seaside!" Lucy cheered happily as she handed the tickets to her family.

"Nice!" Natsu cheered at getting a vacation at a nice resort.

"I don't think I've ever been to a resort like this before." Cana marveled at the name on the ticket.

"Yeah, I had to make sure that I gave them to you now." Loke nodded at the tickets. "Akane isn't a place you can just walk into and expect a room, you've gotta make reservations! Those four tickets are good for two people each, so you can take the whole family. Have fun you guys!" Loke waved before returning back to the Celestial Spirit World in a glow of light.

"This is awesome!" Happy exclaimed brightly! "I'm gonna eat so much fish!"

"Hmm, we have a day or two before the reservation starts, so that's plenty of time to prepare and pack the essentials." Lisanna looked over one of the tickets with Mira.

"Let's take it on the day after tomorrow." Erza wrapped her arms around Lucy's waist from behind. "Lucy just went through her ritual, so she'll need time to settle before anything else." The redhead placed a chaste kiss on Lucy's cheek.

"Erza." Lucy giggled at the affection.

"Sounds like a plan to me." Mira agreed with Erza. "We still have some work we can do here anyway before we go."

"Huh…" Happy looked around at his family and then down at the ticket that Natsu was holding. "One, two, three, four, five, six, seven…" He pointed to each of them as he counted. "We still have one spot available."

"We do." Lisanna nodded seeing as they had seven people in their family. Happy could've probably snuck in as a pet, but that would be an insult to the blue cat to treat him like that.

"Hmmm…" All seven hummed as they tried to think of who they should take.

"I have an idea~" Cana had a devious little grin on her lips.

"Oh…I agree~" Mira saw where Cana was looking and their grins quickly matched.

"Eh?" Lucy blinked at the change in tone.

"Look over there, but don't turn your head." Cana slightly inclined her head in one direction.

Everyone that was confused glanced to the designated side with their peripheral vision. What they saw was a head of blue hair peeking out from behind some of the building materials. Erza and Lisanna both perked up slightly at spotting the woman in hiding, small little smiles on their lips. Natsu noticed who Cana was pointing out and his eyes softened a bit.

"Isn't that Juvia…from Phantom Lord?" Lucy wasn't going to make a commotion seeing as her Dragon Sisters clearly knew the Water Mage was there.

"Yeah, she's been peeking around here since we started rebuilding the Guild Hall." Mira nodded to the blonde.

"She made Natsu a bento." Lisanna giggled at the act of kindness. "I do that sometimes when Natsu goes off on Quests."

"It was pretty good too." Natsu smiled at recalling the taste.

"It's quite clear that she has no hostile intentions." Erza nodded with a knowing smile. "This could be a good chance for us to get to know her."

"Wait a minute…does…does Juvia like Natsu?!" Lucy realized why the other girls were smiling and giggling.

"Maybe?" Natsu crossed his arms and looked thoughtful. "She did seem really grateful about being able to see the blue sky when we fought. Apparently, that was the first time she'd ever seen the sky without clouds."

"Wait, really?!" Lucy felt her eyes snap wide open. "But…affecting the weather…that takes a ton of Magic power!"

"It does," Mira agreed with her blue eyes glancing over at Juvia. "I have to wonder just how much raw power she's had since she was a child."

"Wouldn't that much power have killed her?" Cana looked slightly worried for the other woman. "There is such a thing as too much Magic Power for most humans. Only some outliers like my old man can harness the stupidly high amounts of Magical power needed to affect the weather directly."

"Perhaps it has something to do with her family or lineage?" Lisanna guessed after thinking for a few moments. "That's usually how incredibly powerful Magic in a person comes about over multiple generations."

"Maybe it was the rain itself?" Lucy realized after hearing the other ideas.

"Like a pressure release." Erza spoke with a nod to Lucy. "Her Magic power, too much for her body, found a way out through affecting the weather around her."

"Her alignment to water has to be insanely high then." Natsu mentioned, recalling his fight with the Rain Woman. "She can literally turn her entire body into water and reform from it."

"All the reports about her when she was with Phantom Lord just mentioned that she was a powerful Water Mage that brought rain from her mere presence." Happy recalled the information he had on Juvia. "I just thought that was a recent thing she'd learned how to do as an adult or something."

"So, what does everyone think? Should we invite her?" Lisanna asked her family as a whole. It was clear that the sweet girl was already in favor of bringing the bluenette along.

"I don't mind." Erza's answer was simple.

"We're both fine with it." Cana and Mira had their devious grins back in place.

"I guess, it's not like she's trying to harm us, right?" Lucy glanced at Juvia again.

"Aye." Happy called out with a bright smile.

"It's fine with me." Natsu had no problems. Juvia seemed lonely and he knew his Mates would be great friends with her at the very least.

"So, how do we invite her?" Lucy asked curiously. It was rather obvious that Juvia was trying to stay hidden as she watched Natsu.

"Natsu is already taking care of it." Lisanna laughed brightly.

"Huh?" Lucy looked and noticed that Natsu was gone. The blonde whipped her head around and saw Natsu right in front of Juvia. "When did he?"

"Hey, Juvia!" Natsu smiled at the Water Mage.

"N-Na-Natsu-sama?!" Juvia stumbled over her greeting at suddenly being face-to-face with her crush.

"You want to go to Akane Resort with us the day after tomorrow?" Natsu asked with a smile.

"A…resort…with Natsu-sama?" Juvia looked up at Natsu like she couldn't believe what she was hearing.

"Well, the whole family, but yeah." Natsu nodded to the Water Mage.

"But…is it…really, okay?" Juvia wanted to say yes, but she was well aware that her crush was basically a married man. "Juvia…Juvia doesn't want to cause problems."

"It's already been agreed on by everyone though?" Natsu tilted his head confused by her words.

"It has?" Juvia looked at Natsu incredulously before turning to look at the rest of the Dragon Slayers. Seeing friendly smiles, Lisanna was even waving at her, made Juvia blush a little.

"So, what do you say?" Natsu held out his hand to Juvia with a bright smile. "You want to come with us? All of us would like to get to know you better, Juvia."

"Natsu-sama…" Juvia looked into his amber eyes and saw nothing but sincerity and kindness. Her heart thumped inside her chest and she felt herself blushing. 'How could Juvia not fall for him? Natsu-sama is warm, like the sun on a clear day.' Juvia gently placed her hand in Natsu's outstretched one and let him help her to her feet. "Juvia would love to go with you all, Natsu-sama." She answered cutely, her cheeks red and barely meeting his eyes.

"Great!" Natsu's smile widened more and Juvia thought she might faint from sheer joy. "Do you want to come say hi to everyone?"

"Um…I…Juvia, wouldn't mind, Natsu-sama." Juvia finally answered. Her heart was fluttering and she felt butterflies in her stomach. She was going to meet his family…hopefully they'd accept her apology for attacking Lisanna and Lucy when she was part of Phantom Lord. 'Juvia will do her best! Juvia wants to make friends! Juvia wants…to not be alone anymore.' She tried to push the morose memories of her past away, but they were always there in the background. But as she walked towards the group of women with Natsu at her side, Juvia found that those old painful memories seemed to fade away just a bit.

Juvia Lockser had no idea that she would finally find the acceptance she'd been denied while growing up. But she'd never been happier when she was met with the warm greetings of Erza, Mira, Lisanna, Cana and Lucy.
