Chapter 16: The Meeting

Thanks to everyone who has been reading these, and thanks to everyone who commented especially 7MOONS i am trying to improve this story, I made a free mistakes at the start like rushing it, but I don't think I will rewrite it at least not for the time being I want to finish it first.

Jason's POV

I woke up and groaned I had a massive headache

I opened my eyes and looked around the room I was in, to my right there were two people one I recognized immediately was my sister Thalia. She was talking to someone, and it took me a second to realize who it was.

It was Percy Jackson, WAIT Percy Jackson.

That's the last person I expected to see in my hospital room. Especially after he had destroyed me in a fight. The sad thing is I had a feeling he was holding back a bit.

They were talking in hushed tones I didn't think they had noticed me when Percy said "Hey Sparky have a nice nap"

I cringed at this new nickname I had just gotten.

Thalia stood from her chair and hugged me gingerly i hugged back.

Once we pulled away Percy started talking saying "I just wanted to clarify that as far as I'm concerned all our problems or whatever you want to call it ended in the arena. Also sorry for your balls."

I grimaced remembering him cutting my balls off and it made me wonder if that was needed

"Quick question was that really needed" I asked

"Yes," he answered with a totally straight face before continuing saying " Because my friend you offended did die, the sword I use has her spirit in it. She was Artemis's lieutenant before Thalia and the girl who stood up to shoot you, Phoebe was Zoe's best friend and if I hadn't done it she would have done it in a much more painful way. All the weapons I used were Zoe's the bright light that surrounded me was her she gifted me her weapons and skill with them."

"That's why you were so good with a bow, it figures you did better than I could've,"Thailia said

Percy chucked before saying "Yeah I figured using it would throw Jason off because I have a feeling Annabeth told you my fighting style and my weaknesses"

I nodded in response

"How were you talking to her" Thalia asked

"Like I said Riptide holds her spirit so she can hear me and I can hear her. It helps me when I'm stressed out. The first time she responded scared the crap out of me." Percy said

Me and Thailia both laughed imagining that.

"What were yall talking about before I woke up?" I asked

"Everything, the gods, our adventures the upcoming war and quest" Percy answered.

I nodded before asking "What Romans will be going on the quest?"

Percy thought for a moment before saying "Me, Frank, and Hazel. Both are good warriors and I trust them with my life. Hazel actually saved me during our quest. I'm guessing for yall you want it to be Annabeth, you, Piper, and Leo. But why did you bring all the cabin leaders?"

"Yeah those are probably the best for this quest, and why we brought all the cabin leaders I have no clue it was Annabeth's decision" I answered

He nodded satisfied with that answer before saying "They were probably brought for extra manpower if there was a battle your warship would help a lot and the manpower would maybe give you time to run if attacked it was smart"

I nodded my head before asking "Where is everyone else?"

I asked them to leave so I could talk to you and Thailia here because we needed to catch up, but you have also been asleep for 8 hours. Tyler our best healer watched over you and healed your injuries."

He stood up and reached out his hand to help me up I grabbed it and he pulled me up. Once I put weight on my legs I nearly collapsed but Percy didn't let me fall which I was grateful for. He and Thalia got on either side of me and helped me walk outside. "Let's go talk to the others about our quest I have a feeling they missed you," Percy said.

I chuckled and nodded because I wanted to see Piper and Leo.

Percy's POV

As me, Jason, and Thalia made our way to the barracks to gather the Greeks we all talked about our adventures and battles. Jason found it funny that Thailia got turned into a tree. He got shocked by that, and that sucked for me because it traveled through his body and hit me too.

I summoned a small raincloud over the three of them and it soaked them but the props of being a son of Neptune is I don't get wet if I don't want to.

Once we got to the barracks I heard Thalia grumble "Stupid Kelp head"

I laughed and said "I guess you don't want me to dry you off Pinecone face"

If glares could kill I'm sure hers would have i touched both her and Jason's shoulders and instantly they were both dry Jason went to go get the rest of the Greeks and I told him to meet us at the principia while me and Thaila went to get Reyna.

Time skip everyone is gathered for the meeting same POV

We were all sitting around a large round table with comfy chairs. Thalia was on my left while Reyna was on my right. Frank and Hazel were beside Reyna.

I started the meeting by saying "Ok so I talked to Jason he said for the Greeks Annabeth, Jason, Leo, and Piper will be going. For the Romans after a bit of discussion with Reyna, it was decided that Frank, Hazel, and I will be joining you."

Then the Son of Hephaestus spoke up saying "Why them two?" he said while pointing to Frank and Hazel.

I glared at him before answering saying " Firstly because they have both already fought Alyconeus while we were on a quest together so they have some of the best experience with giants in the Legion, Secondly, I trust them with my life, and that's something I need on this quest." My eyes never left Leo and he started to squirm under my gaze

After a minute of me glaring at him, he said "Can someone make him stop". Because I am a super nice person I stopped glaring at him and said where all are we going? One of the giants said that Nico was stuck in Rome so that would be one of our stops, and then obviously Greece will be our final destination.

Piper spoke up a bit timidly saying "Who is Nico and do we have to save him?" Then Leo chimed in saying "Yeah I am with Beauty Queen do we really need to save this kid? I mean h–

Leo was cut off by the sound of Thunder everyone looked over at me and Thalia. I was glowing a faint blue and my eyes were filled with a blue fire there was water running all around my body in a random order and design. While Thailia's body was crackling with electricity and her eyes were like thunderclouds. She was glaring at Piper and I was glaring at Leo. Jason backed away from the two of us, Reyna was rubbing both of our backs in a calming motion undisturbed by the water and lighting that seemed to be avoiding her. Around everyone's feet gems and precious metals were popping up while Frank was whispering soothingly into Hazel's ear.

After a minute the storm outside had stopped the glow around me had stopped and the water dissipated but the fire in my eyes stayed. Thalia's lightning stopped being so constant though there was the occasional spark but the storm in her eyes was ever constant. Hazel was unconscious in Frank's arms being worn out from using her powers in such anger and not being used to it. All the gems sunk back into the ground.

After calming herself enough to speak Thailia said "Nico is not being left, he is like a little brother to me and Percy, and an older brother to Hazel. He fought a war with us and helped Percy get the curse of Achilles so he is not getting left behind to die. I will go off to find him if you won't and I'm sure Percy would join me." She looked at me for confirmation and I nodded.

"Ok ok I was just wondering why no need to get so mad," Leo said before a ball of water landed on his head soaking him. He lit himself on fire to dry himself. I looked over at Frank to see his reaction I could tell it scared him but he kept his composure.

The meeting continued peacefully, the whole time Clarrise was dying of laughter in the corner about me glaring at Leo for almost the whole meeting.

Once it finished we decided we would leave in the morning at 7:30

Everyone went their separate ways kinda. Thalia went to Diana's temple where the Hunters were staying, Hazel and Frank went to walk around Jason and Piper went to the Garden of Bacchus, and Leo and Annabeth went back to the barracks having nothing better to do. Me and Reyne went to the cafe and got two hot chocolates before walking back to the little Tiber banks.

We sat there just talking and discussing everything about the meeting she had her head leaned against my shoulder when I heard a noise it was a stick snapping Reyna heard it to we both turned around in an instant Reyna brandished her spear while I had Zoe's old hunting knives.

We saw a figure with blonde hair and an orange shirt on Reyna put her spear away while I kept the knives out but lowered in a defensive position. She continued walking towards us in a cocky way that made me angry.

When she got to us she said "Hey Percy(in a much too perky way) Hey Reyna fancy meeting you here.

"Yeah, what a coincidence that you just happened to stumble upon me and Reyna at this portion of the river and that also happens to be the furthest part away from the 5ths barracks," I said my words dripping with sarcasm and annoyance.

She pretended not to notice the sarcasm and started talking saying "I just came to talk to you, Percy"

"What about I asked" skeptical about where this was going.

"About us Seaweed brain" she answered I scowled at the old nickname

"There is no us anymore Annabeth that ended when you left me to fight a bunch of monsters and ran to Chiron telling him I was a monster," I said

Annabeth smirked and I wasn't sure why so it scared me where she was going with this. She said, "Well maybe Reyna would like to know what you did, and we can see her reaction."

Reyna laughed this was the first time she had interacted in this conversation before she said "I already know lady Venus showed me the whole thing, do you not remember in the arena I told Percy that all powers were allowed except that one he knew what I was talking about and I'm surprised you didn't pick up on that. Aren't you the daughter of the goddess of wisdom?"

Annabeth was fuming I grabbed Reyna's hand and we jumped in the water I formed a bubble around us and before Annabeth could jump in I used a sand dollar to "bribe" the little Tiber to keep her out of the water.

I and Reyna sat in the water for an hour and a half talking and some kissing before we rose from the water and walked to our villas once there I kissed Reyna and said "Good night I love you" She smiled and blushed at this before answering "goodnight love you too Perce."

Another chapter down hope you enjoyed this one. I know the end may have been a bit cringy sorry about that but I felt like this chapter didn't have any Preyna so I decided to add a little bit in the end. Also, I tried a different formatting with spacing out the paragraphs and stuff I hope this makes it easier to read.
