Kara's POV
Sliding to one knee, I pulled out the small black box Father gave me. My heart thundered as I gazed into bright green eyes. Opening it, I asked the question I had daydreamed about. "Lena Luthor, would you marry me?"
A breathtaking smile tugged at pale lips. "Yes. I would love to." Applause surrounded us as I wrapped Lena in a tight embrace.
Stepping back, I took one of the necklaces from the box. Lena held her hair to the side as I fastened the clasp. "We can get rings for the Earth wedding."
"Alright." I allowed Lena to latch my necklace. "I know the best place for rings."
Snorting a laugh, I turned to face the CEO. "A place where a basic ring would cost a few grand," I smirked.
"Okay, I know a few places," Lena paused. "Once we're home, we can shop around and pick them together."
"Deal," I smiled. She said yes! Oh, Rao. I'm going to marry Lena Luthor!
So we could have some privacy, Lena and I went to the gardens. "This seems to be our place on Argo," Lena said as she examined a flower.
"I guess it is." Flashes of my dream came to mind. "While you were healing, before we found the cancer, I had a dream of us here," I paused. "Or a place like this."
Green eyes met mine. "There's more. I know that tremor in your voice."
"In the dream, you died. The ground opened up and you fell into the darkness." Tears burned my eyes remembering the dream. "I couldn't save you."
"Hey. Hey." Wrapping me in a hug, Lena cupped the back of my head. "Ssshhh." Clinging to the shorter woman, I buried my face into her neck. "I'm not going anywhere." Kissing my forehead, Lena continued. "And on Earth, I'm nearly indestructible."
"Thank, Rao." Sniffling, I took a step back. Wiping my eyes, I smiled. "I wonder who will win the bet on us coming back married."
"It's a toss up." Lena's brows knitted in thought. "Alex, Brainy, and J'onn are in the lead."
"Yeah." I ran a hand through my hair as I looked around. "I'm sure the news will reach Mother and Father by the time we get back."
"Probably." Lena took my hand, gaining my attention. "Kara, we don't have to get married this weekend if you're not ready. I know, once the ceremony is over, by Kryptonian law, we will be bound for life. Divorce isn't an option."
Someone has done her homework. Why am I not surprised? Looking down at our hands, I smiled. "I'm sure. We'll have a ceremony here for my parents, The Council, and Linda. Once home, we can have another with our friends and to be legal by human standards." My stomach dropped. "Oh, gosh. You've never met Eliza, my adoptive Mom. You were supposed to meet her on Thanksgiving."
Every muscle in Lena's body tensed. "Does she know about us?"
"She knew I had feelings for you long before Thanksgiving. Did all of the "Mother Research" stuff and liked you from the start." Beginning to relax, Lena nodded. "After I brought you here, Alex filled her in on everything. I don't know if she expects us to come back married but she definitely wants to meet you."
"I appreciated the condolence flower arrangement and food she had delivered after Lillian's funeral."
"Eliza went into full Mom mode," I chuckled. "She wanted to come help in any capacity but was held up at work. She cares about all of our friends like they are her own."
"Well, I can't wait to meet my future Mother-in-Law." Stepping forward, Lena took my hand in hers. "Shall we? We have a few hours to kill before we need to go back for dinner."
"Sure."

Everything became real as I stepped onto the Jewel of Truth and Honor. Seeing Lena standing in front of me in the traditional Kryptonian ceremonial robes made my stomach swoop. My parents, Linda, and the other founders of Argo City stood around us. I never thought I'd marry for love. But here I am, marrying the woman I fell for in an instant. Taking Lena's hands in mine, I smiled. "Ready?"
"I am," she smiled back. "You look beautiful." My cheeks flushed. I chuckled silently seeing Lena try to make the uncomfortable robes sit more comfortably.
"We are gathered today to witness the marriage between Kara Zor-El and Lena Luthor." The priest's voice vibrated through the room with a thick Kryptonian accent. "This is a marriage unlike any other and will set a new precedence for future unions. Do either of you have vows you wish to speak?"
Soft gasps and murmurs filtered through the onwatchers as Lena spoke her vows in perfect Kryptonese. I smiled triumphantly at my future wife as she finished and I spoke my own.
"In the name of Truth and Honor, I declare the marriage vows binding upon you. From this day forward, throughout all time and space, even unto eternity, you shall be bound together. Do you have the ceremonial jewelry?"
"Yes," my father stepped forward. "I have them here. The color has been cataloged with The Council." Taking the box, I opened it and carefully clasped the necklace around Lena's neck. She did the same for me.
"Made wife and wife this day and for all days hence. May the countenance of Rao ever shine on you." Stepping forward, I kissed Lena as soft applause enveloped us. Council members and other founding members congratulated us as we made our exit.
Once outside, my parents and Linda hugged and congratulated us. "I'm so proud of you, Kara." Father placed a hand on my shoulder. "I couldn't be happier for you." Turning his attention towards Lena, he smiled. "You really know how to keep people on their toes, as Earthlings would say."
"I wanted to learn Kryptonese for Kara." Green eyes turned towards me. "I knew I'd marry her one day. If I got the chance to do it here, I wanted to be prepared."
"We look forward to the day you move here permanently," Mother beamed. "Until then, we will be content with your visits."
Since all previous marriages on Argo had been between a man and a woman who didn't know each other well, we were given a special home for the rest of our stay. Originally, this would give the new couple time to bond and become more acquainted with each other. The small one bedroom house was stocked with food and toiletries. If there was anything we needed, food or otherwise, it would be brought to us.
Entering our new residence, we noticed that all of our things had been left in the living room. "At least we have comfortable clothes now," Lena joked.
"Thankfully," I chuckled. "I know you hated the robes."
"I did, yes." A devious grin tugged at the woman's lips. "You know, these clothes are getting uncomfortable." Lena started to walk backwards towards the bedroom. "Might you help me out of them?"
Feeling heat creep up my neck, I followed. "Of course."
Our clothes were quickly littered around the room between heated kisses. Pushing me back onto the bed, Lena crawled up my body with mischievous, darkening green eyes that made my body buzz. "You'll excuse me, my dear wife, if I forgo the normal amount of teasing." Dipping her head, Lena took a hardened nipple into her mouth to suck.
Arching into the warmth, I whimpered. "Th-That's fine." Kissing across my chest, Lena did the same with my other nipple. Moaning, I tangled a hand in her hair. "Fuck…"
"Tisk. Tisk." She met my gaze. "Cursing already? What will you do when I'm between your thighs?" One hand snaked between my legs to tease.
She's trying to kill me. "Please…"
"Since you asked so nicely…" Kissing down my body, Lena left small marks in her wake. Before putting each knee over her shoulders, the businesswoman nipped each thigh.
My hips buckled, feeling an agile tongue slide into the wetness that had already begun to pool. "Lena, fuck… I won't…"
Kissing my thigh, Lena purred, "I know." Slowing her rampage, the brunette teased as she sucked, licked, and nipped the tender, heated, skin. The lighter the touch, the more I'd shamelessly whine and beg for more. "I'm just as aroused."
"I can't wait to taste you," I panted. Raking her nails down my side caused goose bumps to form all over my body. "Please, Lena…" Dipping her head, she did as I asked. Orgasm after orgasm ragged through me. Once I was a twitching mess, Lena kissed up my body and captured my lips with hers.
Tangling my hands in dark locks, I deepened the kiss. Taking a swollen lip between my teeth, I whispered, "your turn." Guiding Lena back onto her knees, I tossed the pillows off the bed and laid back. A soft growl vibrated the younger woman's throat. "I said I wanted to taste you."
"Yes you did." Putting a knee on either side of my head, Lena found her balance. Wrapping an arm around each thigh, I pulled the woman down to devour. Moans filled the room as I entered with my tongue and we found a steady rhythm. "I'm close," Lena moaned. "Finish me." Moaning, I did exactly that. With trembling thighs, Lena used the headboard to keep herself upright. Meeting my gaze, she grinned. "You like doing that more on Earth, don't you?"
The dominance in me faded as Lena gazed down at me, hair swept to one side and only wearing the House of El necklace. "A little bit." Gosh, she looks like a goddess.
Shifting to lay beside me, the younger woman let her head rest on my shoulder and an arm draped across my stomach. "I love you, Kara Zor-El."
"Luthor," I corrected softly. "On Earth at least."
"Luthor it is."

Goodbyes on Argo were sad but we promised to visit during the summer. Linda and Mikhail would visit in the fall. After setting up a time with Alex, both sides of the portal were open. Stepping through the pink vortex, we emerged on the other side and back on Earth.
The bright flash of a sun grande recharged us. As the light faded, Alex and a few others came into view. "Welcome home," my sister grinned. "Hope you enjoyed the vacation because there's no rest for Kara Danvers. Cat Grant tracked me down looking for you," she smirked. "She's mildly terrifying."
Chuckling nervously, I ran a hand through my hair. "Yeah, she can be. I'll call her back soon."
Lena turned on her phone and the device started pinging so much it turned into a constant buzz. "Clearly, I'm needed elsewhere." Kissing my cheek, the CEO smiled. "See you later."
"Awww, no kiss on the cheek for me?" Alex pouted playfully. "Sickeningly sweet."
"No. I only kiss those I'm," Lena cut herself off. She floundered for a different word than what she originally wanted to use. "Sleeping with." Alex's head tilted as she narrowed her gaze.
Great. She caught that. Oh, boy. "Bye."
We both watched as Lena made her exit. Alex folded her arms and turned towards me. "What did you do?" Not wanting to be under my sister's gaze, I walked away. "Kara," she warned. "What did you do? Is Mom going to kill me?"
"Maybe…." I muttered.
"Oh, God…"
Stepping into the main area, Brainy saw us. "Welcome back." Noticing how Alex was tailing me, he didn't say more.
Running in front of me, Alex took hold of my shoulders. "Why is Mom going to kill me?" She tried to stay calm since we were around everyone else. Biting the inside of my cheek, I laced my finger through the chain around my neck. Pulling it out of my shirt, I waited. "What's that?"
"Oh! That's the Kryptonian sacred jewelry!" Brainy chimed in. "That means…oh." His voice trailed.
Alex looked between us. "That means what?"
"I'm going to go…" Brainy swiftly put distance between him and us.
Rip the bandaid off, I guess. "We got married by Kryptonian standards."
"YOU DID WHAT?"
