He sensed it.

Kurogiri sensed his Master's presence weakening. Not faded. But he was weakened.

Master had been defeated.

His golden eyes saw the semi-High End Hood be blasted to smithereens by the Number Two Hero.

Then another was neutralized, its brain matter in Ryukyu's jaws.

'Kurogiri. If the worst occurs.' His master's words resounded in his head. 'Do not despair. Take Tomura, and escape.'

He saw Tomura lashing out at Pro Heroes, his Decay leaving some without limbs, even succeeding in a few kills. Kurogiri shrunk down, warping beside Tomura who leapt back from a hero whose arms were made of wires.

"I'm busy Kurogiri!"

"The Master has been defeated." Kurogiri uttered.

Tomura rounded on him, eyes wide behind his hand-mask. "Bullshit!"

Kurogiri conjured a warp hole, sending Tomura's opponent to some place over the city. He'd die from the fall. Probably… "We must retreat."

"But All Might-"

"Has won. Today." Kurogiri's eyes narrowed. "But only the battle. Not the war."

Tomura breathed hard, snarling as he clenched his fist. One hand went up, scratching his neck hard. "Fucking All Might. That damn blonde brat… God fucking damnit!"

Kurogiri saw a blast of flame and absorbed it with his Warp hole, creating an exit point that ignited a nearby building.

"You're not escaping from here!" Endeavor roared, blazing forth even with his cuts, bruises, and a broken right arm, his left hand ablaze. "You damn Villains!" Kurogiri narrowed his eyes as he saw the Number Two Hero rear back his hand. "Hell Spider!"

Unfortunately, his swipe of five long flame tendrils went off-kilter, missing the two as Endeavor's eyes widened in surprise before his entire body angled toward the ground. The man ate dirt from his flame-projected flight and he skidded along the ground.

"Heeeey Kuro-chaaaan!" The Warp user turned, seeing Blink and Geppetto sprinting towards them at the center of the crater. "About time we bailed, yeah?"

"Where's Moonfish and Mustard?" Tomura asked.

"Beaten. No time. We run." Blink panted, and Kurogiri's warp expanded. He saw Endeavor erupt out of the ground, his eyes alight with both rage and flame in their direction.

"YOU ARE NOT GETTING AWAY AGAIN!" The hero's flames quickly began to flare hotter than ever before. "PROMINENCE…."

Kurogiri's brain entered a state of hyperfocus, recognizing Endeavour's most dangerous technique that was ready to fire, leaving little time to think.

His black mist expanded, covering Tomura, Blink, and Geppetto as he recounted the coordinates.

35°10′48″ North by 129°04′30″ East.

The warp expanded, and Tomura let out a roar of frustration as he and the two remaining members of the League of Villains were consumed.

Chisaki roared as he swung his enhanced hand at the incoming red-eyed hero who avoided his swipe with contemptuous ease. Chisaki saw him contort his body, and he angled his head to avoid a strike as he felt a kick against his shoulder and was sent flying.

The mutilated monster crashed through the tops of two spires before he tapped the side of his arm. His cracked rotator cuff healed, causing the blinding pain to vanish. The red-blue blur was quickly approaching him, and he saw his prize within the green hero's arms.

Furious, he slammed his hand down. The entire street warped, spires and columns erupting after the hero with the spider's crest.

The yakuza leader saw Spider-Man fling his arm out, and a sudden loud crack rang out. For the briefest second, Chisaki swore he saw something the size of a baseball fly past him before he felt something shred the side of his neck, like a bullet. Chisaki choked and tapped his body again, healing the wound before an artery gushed blood.

Having toppled over from the sudden attack, the monstrous villain stood up and observed the battlefield. The streets and nearby buildings had congealed around his newly christened tower.

He saw Rikiya and the mass of Mimic now chasing the green one.

Chisaki snarled, his enhanced thighs bulging out as he sprinted. Failing to reach the little green bastard and the girl would be completely unacceptable.

"Eri! IS MINE!" He roared, charging after the boy who held her. The brat jumped away, lightning erupting from him as Chisaki felt more bullets strike him. Pain wracked his system. Thigh, spine, wrist. All where arteries were located.

Even enhanced by a Top Ten Pro Hero like Mirko, that spider brat was still powerful enough to wound his enhanced body. Not just with his strikes, but whatever the hell he was shooting at him with. Every time he healed himself, the kid was already on top of him to make even more wounds and even his quirk had a limit to how many times he could heal himself.

"Need to put as much distance between me and that brat as possible." Overhaul allowed the large ears he'd gained from Mirko to rise up. With a concentration he'd perfected from years of using his quirk, he was able to pinpoint where the Spider boy was.

"Got you now you rotten brat!" Slamming his palm on the ground, massive waves of rock and metal came to life and erupted around the spider. With greater precision Overhaul weaved the rock and steel together, forming countless arms, which the Spider was able to block and deflect with his speed and extra limbs…though only initially.

With so much material, Overhaul only needed one to connect.

"Brat might be good at dodging, but even he can't avoid being hit if he's attacked from every direction."

His deduction proved true, as finally one of the stone hands wrapped itself around the young hero's leg. His eyes for the briefest moment dropped down to look and in turn gave Overhaul his opening.

"GOT YOU!" With greater force, the wall of arms wrapped around every limb they could grab, quickly shifting around and encasing him in layer upon layer of stone, plaster and metal.

Not wasting a moment Overhaul quickly turned his attention back to Eri, leaping directly in front of the fleeing green hero. He glared up at the scared boy and the tearful Eri.

"GET HER!" He commanded Rikiya and Mimic.

He saw a blur before a punch cleaved through his stomach, pain erupting as Chisaki was sent flying over cars and debris. He tumbled across the ground, agony surging through every part of his body.

Chisaki struggled to let loose a breath as blood spewed from his throat. He agonizingly turned to his side and hacked up enough to clear his lungs.

Desperately he reached up and managed to touch himself again, healing quickly, though fear still lingered as he looked up towards the sound of someone approaching.

The blazing red eyes of the spider bore into him.

Deciding to change tactics, Overhaul slapped his hand on the ground, making it seem like he was going to use his quirk again, only to push himself upwards into a handstand with his legs lashing out towards the teen.

With Mirko's immensely powerful legs he figured it'd be enough to knock the brat off balance…so why didn't the brat seem to flinch?

The answer came when the kick connected, only for Overhaul's eyes to widen in shock and horror at the sight of Peter's hand firmly clenched around the criminal's ankle, easily stopping the kick mid-swing.

'Mirko's kicks are strong enough to smash concrete and send cars flying, how the hell is this brat able to stop me like that?'

By now Overhaul was feeling the adrenaline in his system fade, not that it was doing him much good anyway. He tried to think of something to do.

Overhaul's eyes widened as he looked into the expressionless face of Peter's mask, yet could practically feel the furious gaze of the teen upon him as he heard the American boy snarl.

Overhaul could barely react as his entire body was effortlessly lifted into the air by his leg, before being harshly slammed onto the ground. Chisaki barely had enough time to lift his head up to avoid immediate contact with the ground.

He felt his body go numb at the impact, his body cracking the concrete. His brain struggled to try to regain some level of focus, only to feel himself be lifted up once again.

"GIVE HER BACK!" Peter practically screamed as he angrily slammed the demented villain against the ground once again, barely controlling himself enough to not use his full strength to avoid inflicting lethal damage.

Once again Overhaul impacted the ground, cracking it upwards as he struggled to respond, only looking up at Peter's face, barely able to get a word out as he was lifted up one more time.

"GIVE….HER….BACKKK!" Once again he slammed the villain into the ground, though this time he finally let go of his leg, staring down at the now beaten villain with apathy in his eyes.

The mismatched monster was bloody and broken in many places, blood leaking from countless wounds, his beak-like mouth cut up.

"You …fucking… BRAT!" He gurgled out, in too much pain to properly speak before he tapped himself and healed.

The red-blue costumed boy glared hatefully at the pitiful villain, and charged once more, eyes blazing red.

Izuku couldn't speak, his arm tight around Eri as he used his other for Black Whip to pull himself away as the hospital building morphed and merged. Mimic's snarling visage was presented as glass, metal, and stone, twisting after him. Down below, Rikiya charged like a rampaging bull.

"Mirko… Mirko…" Eri whimpered, shaking as Izuku avoided the metal and glass that flew towards them. He leapt away from the building, avoiding the projectiles and a lunging swipe from the massive Rikiya.

The idea to run further away from the hospital enticed him, but Izuku knew what would happen. Overhaul had no regard for civilian casualties. Even if the area might've been evacuated in response to the battle, there was still a possibility of stragglers. He'd need to lead the villains away to guarantee no casualties.

Sadly, he had little time to formulate a possible escape route as green hero was forced to avoid a leaping charge from Rikiya that slammed into the hospital. Glass shards came down like rain as Izuku propelled himself with a tug of Black Whip down to street level. He ran along an overturned bus, and leapt away as the ground under said bus erupted in spikes and exploded.

Don't Think. Keep running, no matter what!

"It's going to be okay." Izuku whispered. "I am here." He reiterated. "I am-"

"Mirko… Mirko…" Eri uttered over and over, and the pit of guilt and helplessness grew inside him.

"GIVE THE GIRL BACK YOU FUCKEEEER!" Mimic roared as the building behind Izuku morphed into a massive hand ready to ensnare him. The young hero barely had time to jump out of the way, avoiding the massive stone and steel appendage.

He saw a shadow over him for a moment, and he leapt again, avoiding a slam from Rikiya as he turned.

However, the blur that was Peter slammed right into Rikiya's back with a missile kick and the massive villain crashed into the ground. Izuku was left a little stunned at how effortlessly his friend had toppled the titanic villain.

Izuku landed, as did Peter. "Peter we-"

Peter squatted, his eyes focused on the ground. "Karen, scan for any heat signatures or any anomalies within the ground in front of us." His voice was low, focused. And in English no less.

"He's currently hiding about 20 yards away from where you're standing."

With a burst of speed, Peter leapt forward and smashed his hand into the aforementioned location, causing the ground to erupt and a familiar face to be sent high into the air.

"GAARGH! WHAT?!" Mimic gargled, the black-covered dwarf scrambling from the debris in a desperate attempt to get to the ground. Unfortunately for the villain, Izuku's steel clad boot slammed into his chest, sending him crashing into a nearby All Might billboard.

The injured villain tried to raise himself up, only for Peter's webbing to quickly pin him to the billboard. He was left trapped and unable to escape.

"Peter!" He called out, but the American didn't listen.

His web shooter spat out a cartridge as the American reloaded. Izuku held onto Eri, stunned by how effortlessly his classmate had dispatched the hidden villain.

However, neither of them had much time to contemplate the takedown as suddenly a peculiar wave of exhaustion started to come over them both.

Peter himself actually stumbled a little, holding his head to try and right himself. He turned to Izuku trying to say something, only for a massive hand to erupt from the ground, wrapping itself tightly around the spider hero.

"Finally caught you, you damn bug." Erupting from the ground, Rikiya reappeared. "Gotta say you're a really strong guy, forcing me to bust out my trump card and everything."

The sound of something hitting the ground caused Izuku's eyes to drift to a familiar looking vial.

Trigger!

Rikiya's eyes narrowed to where he was practically smirking. "Then again, if I knew you had this kind of power, I'd have done it sooner. Speaking of which…"

The villain started to take a deep breath and to Izuku's surprise an orange vapor of some kind appeared from Peter's body, flooding directly into the villain's masked mouth. In seconds, the already large villain appeared to double in size, his muscles bulging with immense strength.

"OH YEAH! Now that's the good stuff." Rikiya shouted loudly, as if he'd just chugged an energy drink. "Knew going after you first was the right call and I'm not stopping till you're bone dry." Peter roared in anger as electricity burst from his hands, causing the monstrous villain to cry out.

"Gaah fuck! From your cos-GRRRGH!"

Izuku lashed out, a kick to the face in an attempt to stun the titanic villain, though he held Peter tight in his iron grip.

Thinking fast, Izuku immediately used his other leg to push hard off of Rikiya's face and put some distance between them. Quickly he returned to the ground, sliding across the dirt before putting Eri down and looking her in the eye.

"Eri, I need you to cover your ears for me, right now!"

The young girl didn't argue, quickly covering her ears as Izuku turned back and lifted his hand and readied his finger.

"Aim for the vulnerable spot of the body, focus on getting him to let Peter go." Charging up his attack he focused his finger on one of Rikiya's knees and let loose.

"One For All Full Cowling: 25% Delaware SMASH!" A loud boom erupted as a cannon shell-sized bullet of air flew from Izuku's finger and collided directly with the massive villain's left knee.

The villain in turn let off a loud yell as his limb was forced painfully backwards. Not enough to break it due to the enhancement from his quirk, but enough to knock him off balance and more importantly, weaken his grip on Peter.

Not wasting a second, Izuku charged One For All into his legs and rushed forward, appearing mere feet from Rikiya before he reeled back his left leg.

"FULL COWLING: CHICAGO! SMASH!" With a loud thunderclap, Izuku kicked forward and up, square into the massive villain's exposed 's head snapped upward, his fall reversing as he rocketed upwards, Peter finally free from his hand and hitting the ground below.

"One More BLOW!" Jumping high into the air above Rikiya's airborne body, Izuku brought his leg up as high as he could, and with as much force as he could, launched a vicious axe kick into Rikiya's head.

"ARIZONA SMAAAAASH!"

The blow collided with another boom as the titanic villain flew into the ground below like a missile, Peter managing to leap out of the way of the impact.

A large cloud of dust erupted from the point of impact as Izuku, still airborne, looked down. He tensed, ready to launch another attack should his opponent by some miracle still be conscious.

However, once the dust settled, it revealed a battered and more importantly, out cold Rikiya. Peter, having gotten back up, stumbled over to the crater and with a few quick shots of webbing, trapped the villain's hands, elbows, knees, feet and torso, ensuring he wasn't getting back up.

Landing on the ground, he stared at Peter, who in turn looked back at his friend and teammate, unsure of how to act next.

"Thanks Deku." Peter's voice sounded eerily calm despite the situation, a far cry from his typical joking demeanor. Izuku was left a little unnerved, opting instead to focus on something else.

"Well, his quirk is Energy Drain, draining a person's stamina from their bodies. Normally he has to touch someone to do it, but he must've enhanced his quirk with drugs so no contact was needed." Izuku eyed the unconscious villain in the crater.

Peter nodded, processing this new info. "Karen, any threats you can pick up near us?"

As Karen scanned, Izuku finally had a moment to look at Eri, who was still paralyzed, borderline hyperventilating at this point.

"Eri, listen to me." Izuku had his hands on her shoulders. "We're safe. We're going to be okay and-"

A storm of debris and stone blasted forth like a twister as Izuku turned, seeing Overhaul march out of the building Peter had left him in. Rebar and debris fell from his body as he healed. His murderous eyes turned towards Peter, those same glowing red orbs turning back at him.

"Want to join that rabbit bitch so badly? FINE!" Overhaul slammed his hand on the ground, the concrete and asphalt blasting forth into pillars and spires. Peter evaded capture once more, jumping to avoid the onslaught as he leapt backwards more and more.

Overhaul's position atop a stone tower rose higher and higher as more of the street and buildings began to congeal and gather, like seeing something fall in a pond, causing a great ripple from the impact but in reverse. Izuku saw his head shift on a swivel and he ducked.

He grabbed Eri and lashed out to the other end of the roof, tugging with Black Whip and getting out of the way.

However, he barely registered a booming sound before once more finding himself under attack. To his horror, the monstrous villain had appeared literally two feet in front of him. Overhaul's hand snapped towards Izuku's arm.

"GIVE UP! YOU SICKENING HEROAAAAAAGH!" His boast turned into a roar of pain as Peter's webbing had attached itself to the villain. The spider hero pulled him backwards with all his strength, slamming the villain back into the ground.

Overhaul rose from the ground, eyes quickly locked on Izuku. Before he could even attempt to leap at him, more webbing ensnared his feet, Peter quickly closing the gap.

Thunderous bone-cracking punches followed. Izuku could only watch as Peter became a blur.

Overhaul was stunned, being slammed, kicked, punched and sent flying… only to be webbed by his opponent and reeled back in for more. Overhaul yelled in pain, lashing out with his hands. He caught nothing but air as Peter avoided each strike and countered with blows that could break bones and crack concrete..

Again.

And again.

And again.

Overhaul's mask was flayed off, revealing a busted and destroyed mouth. Overhaul's eye, his other a destroyed and gushing pulp, was wide with agony and pain as he was reeled in yet again. Peter used the momentum to keep the villain in the air where he couldn't touch the ground, all while Peter was beating the tar out of him, weaving and ducking around any lashing limb from the masked villain.

Peter came down with a roundhouse kick, sending Overhaul right into his self-made tower of stone as he webbed himself over to the hospital wall and turned.

The hospital's windows burst into a shower of glass as Peter launched off like a missile. His web anchored to the tower and pulled himself in at an even faster velocity. The tower's top displayed blood and dust… Overhaul healed! He was still conscious!?

"Wait! Don't get in close!"

The tower morphed with spires and columns bursting forth at Peter, sending him into the hospital with a crash. The uppermost part of the tower shattered, and Overhaul emerged from it as he had a hand on his chest, letting out a brief sigh of relief as his body was restored once again, eyes set on Izuku.

Izuku bolted off with Eri in his arms. The hospital roof seemed to shake and quake as he leapt off, his heart leaving his mouth as Eri screamed in his grasp.

The topmost floor of the Hospital where he had been positioned erupted into spikes as he turned, seeing Overhaul charge after him with a mighty leap from his engorged muscular thighs.

"GIVE…. HER… BACK TO MEEEEEEE!" Overhaul roared, his mask opening like a demonic maw as Izuku's eyes widened. He was too fast!

A blast of fire consumed the man, Overhaul yelling as he was sent into the battlefield below in a crash. Izuku reeled himself to the ground with a Black Whip and landed, seeing the source.

"Todoroki!" He saw Shoto run towards him. He had bandages around his chest.

"Midoriya! Need a hand?" He asked.

"I just need to keep Eri safe. Can you help pin Overhaul down?"

"I can; where's Mirko?" Todoroki gestured to the giant frozen mass in the middle of the battlefield. Eri shed fresh tears as Izuku winced and looked away.

The dual-haired boy's eyes widened. "No…" he uttered. Eri sniffled as Izuku's arms gently embraced her. Todoroki looked to the side, stunned.

He saw a hulking titan leap out of the hospital. Overhaul was raving as he plunged down at them.

"Don't let him touch you. He's like Shigaraki but worse!" Izuku warned.

"Got it." Shoto backed off with a surge of a glacier, and he launched a fire blast at Overhaul as he landed.

Superheated stone and slag rumbled his way like a wave, Shoto avoiding the attack as Izuku dodged away with his precious cargo.

Izuku saw the monstrous villain gaining on him, the villain ranting and raving as the young hero jumped and leapt away.

"HAND HER OVER, YOU LITTLE SHIT!" Overhaul roared before Izuku saw something out of the corner of his eye.

"F-Flying things!" Eri pointed as Izuku landed, seeing a swarm of flying devices veering above Overhaul. They fired bolts of something down at him as bright flashes of light and loud bangs went off, Izuku wincing as Eri cried out in pain.

"Midoriya-san, are you alright?" Said a familiar voice as Izuku turned. The source was a hovering drone.

"Karen!"

"Help is en route, but they're five minutes out. Creati is assisting in creating these drones for me to assist. She's in the hospital as we speak."

"Peter's in there too." Izuku breathed.

"I know. I'm coordinating with him."

Izuku heard a rumbling of earth, and another tower of stone erupted forth as Overhaul zoomed to the top of it, healing again as he glared down murderously at them.

(X)

Momo felt panic swell within her as she sipped another tapioca pudding cup through a heavy duty straw. She sat in the empty cafeteria, empty cases of pudding, bologna, chip bags and sweet wrappers all around her as a drone ripped the tops off for her to get easier access. Her stomach glowed, creating another drone as she groaned.

Making one drained considerable lipids, but as long as she kept on eating, she could make them. She'd made well over twenty now.

Yet seeing the fight from her phone via the vantage point of a drone's camera overlooking the battlefield, she was frantic. Scared and concerned.

"Peter!" She grabbed Karen's drone. "Peter, you can't fight him up close!" Momo urged. "Can't he hear me!?"

"He can. " Karen said. "He's… not listening."

Momo felt her gut clench.

"You need to make more drones. We need to overwhelm the villains and cover Todoroki." Karen urged.

Karen might be right, but even so…

"Is Peter alright at least?" Momo asked, her voice subdued as she slurped a Gatorade.

"He's alright." Karen said as the nearby drone ripped a chip bag open.

"The Heroes. When will they get here? They must've noticed the hospital being attacked." She asked, downing another pudding cup. Her throat and mouth were sore, but the training from the Summer Camp had strengthened her muscles and more importantly, her ability to consistently produce items with her quirk. She finished the pudding before she dug into the chip bag.

Better salty stuff than another tapioca pudding.

"Three minutes out." Momo saw the drone she made clatter to the ground before it lifted off as Karen connected with it. "They're coming in from all sides."

The drones were now pestering Overhaul, the man becoming annoyed as Todoroki fought against him, slowing down his pursuit of Deku and Eri.

She had a job to do.

"Please Karen, keep Peter safe." Momo went back to sipping another bland pudding. If this kept up… she'd have to go out there and support them however she could.

(X)

Everything hurt, but Peter didn't care as he pushed the debris and stone out of the way. Fire sprinklers went off from the empty ruin as he walked forward, his vision red.

One of his camera patches was spotty and fizzling, so he reached up and ripped it off so he could see clearly.

The ruined hallway he crashed into was filled with spires and stones, water sprinkling down as the air was still. Peter said nothing, marching onward as he reloaded his web shooters. He saw words being typed on his HUD.

"Peter, I advise that we keep Overhaul pinned and contained. We can expect backup from-"

"No."

"Peter, you-"

"I said no!"

Eri's scream still resounded in his skull…as did Mirko's final words.

Overhaul was fast, dangerous, and tough. He could heal too and seemed to basically have unlimited stamina. Unless he knocked him out in one blow, the yakuza leader was never going to stop.

Fine.

His Spider Sense tingled, and he bolted away as the ceiling above collapsed on top of him. He turned and began to sprint, seeking a hallway not littered with spires and stone. Seeing an empty one, he ran down it as everything became a blur.

"You're in danger! One touch and you'll be killed!" Karen spoke but Peter blocked it out, only one thought on his mind.

Overhaul dies today. No one else.

Peter blasted through the glass, arms wide as he saw a new stone tower. The American webbed onto it, seeing the Yakuza boss at the top as he pulled himself in legs-first.

Peter whipped around the stone tower, catapulting himself to avoid spikes and pillars as he aimed.

"Bullet Web." Peter ordered, his web configuration aiming as his HUD locked onto the falling villain. Quickly charging towards his target, he pushed off and leapt forward, trying to close the gap as much as possible.

Once he was close enough, he aimed and fired.

The hardened web fluid, fired at an increased velocity, burst out like a machine gun. While some projectiles were blocked by the falling debris, he saw some strike the beaked villain as he writhed before he fell to the earth.

Unfortunately, the villain quickly latched onto the building beside him with one of his arms and activated his quirk again.

The stone tower and the earth around Overhaul erupted as more stone spires burst forth.
The spires struck out in all directions as Peter landed on the hospital, high and away from it all. He glared down at Overhaul, the swirling storm of dust and debris like a tempest. The very street seemed to converge on him. Even the struggling and restrained Rikiya was going right to him.

Overhaul jumped right on his massive goon, and the two erupted in a burst of red and gore.

Peter snarled, seeing the storm converge as a new form emerged from within. Massive red arms slammed into the ground as a monster came striding out. Gone were the humanoid features, in their place was a red-skinned monstrosity with multiple arms like a spider, and atop its mass, an eyeless head. Horns akin to a rabbit's ears jutted from it, a toothed beak speared from its jaw. The beak opened to reveal the howling and enraged masked villain within, his lower body merged with his flesh construct.

Peter broke into a run as his Spider Sense went off. He heard Karen say something, but he ignored it. He used his web to slingshot himself at the villain, rocketing towards him like a missile.

Pain erupted as he slammed against a newly erected stone tower. It crashed into him as it rose, higher and faster, his breath leaving him as his HUD fizzled in his left eye as he rose higher and higher. His Spider Sense roared as he rolled off the tower.

Spikes burst out where he'd been, and he began to fall.

The monstrous beaked spider hundreds of meters bellowed as Peter glared down at him.

He'd take him down for good as he aimed his web for the body and latched on.

He pulled, accelerating downwards.

"YOU'RE MINE BRAT!" Overhaul roared, the hands lashing out as Peter aimed with his web shooters.

No web came.

He finally noted the icon on his web reserves, the cartridge empty as Overhaul's titanic hand rushed towards him, ready to disintegrate him with a touch.

Time almost seemed to slow and Peter's brain scrambled for some kind of answer, some way to dodge as time and distance rapidly evaporated.

Two large harpoons crashed into the side of the monstrosity's hand, goring it and sending it hurtling into the wall where it stuck fast.

Overhaul roared and ripped his arm apart as he pulled himself free, Peter having just enough time to land and leap away. His head swiveled, searching for where the projectiles had come from.

His heart practically stopped in his chest.

"MEI?!" What was she doing here?!

She was holding up two launchers mounted on her arms, a backpack with metal rods, and metal boots. Her eyes were wide, her body petrified where she stood, trembling as her gaze shifted from Peter to the red-skinned monstrosity.

Peter landed, reloading his webshooters in the split second he needed for it.

"MORE HEROES?! FINE! WHAT'S ONE MORE TO THE PYRE!?" The Yakuza bellowed, and with a slam of his hands, spires and columns darted at a frozen Mei.

He didn't even think. He lunged, exploding forward with all the speed he could muster, all but tackling Mei as he slammed into her and kept going. Debris and bits of metal pelted him in the back. Some came dangerously close to piercing his suit, or burning across the fabric but he didn't dare let go. Peter hugged Mei tightly as they fell. He twisted his body to hit the ground first, rolling as they did to soften the blow.

He held her before Mei's breath hitched as he looked down at her.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!" Peter roared in English, Mei's eyes wide as she looked up at him.

"Peter… you're hurt." She uttered.

"Why are you here?!" He demanded again.

"I… I had to bring you this!" Mei was in her scrubs, as if she had bolted from UA herself, and had something in her hand.

"Had to bring- MEI!" He found himself screaming before hearing Overhaul rushing up behind him.

He grabbed hold of her, hugging her close before he shot out a web to yank them both into the air and onto a nearby rooftop, gaining some distance.

He tossed a look over his shoulder as little buzzing dots flew up and around the monster. The drones peppered him with web bolts and loud flashes, serving as a useful if momentary distraction.

"You're bleeding… oh no you're bleeding… Again!" Mei whimpered as Peter turned, finally for what seemed like minutes, being able to breathe. "Nonononono-!"

"Mei," he had his hands on her shoulders. "You have to go. Now."

"But you're-"

"But nothing!" He barked.

"Peter! Hatsume!?" Izuku's voice rang out as Peter saw a flash of green.

"Peter!? What's Hatsume doing here?" It was Momo's voice in his ear.

That was the first he'd heard of her clearly… Was she always there, but he… didn't listen?

Mr. Stark had always listened to Captain Rogers or Thor.

'Some Avenger I am…'

"You okay?" Izuku asked as he landed close by. "We need to keep Overhaul pinned down. The Heroes are almost here!"

Peter suddenly felt something placed into his hands as Mei looked at him, her target eyes pleading. He looked down and his jaw dropped.

The Iron Spider Module.

"You… fixed it?"

"N-Not entirely. It's running on say, sixty percent, best guess?" Mei replied.

"Put it on your chest Peter, I can interface with it via the arc reactor." Karen toned. Peter obliged, and the module synched up with the reactor on his suit. He saw a screen show up on his HUD as Karen ran diagnostics.

"Alright, the Module is functional Peter." Karen said. "But it can only produce enough nanites for your arms, legs, and a harness around your chest and back to connect them. Even then, the covering should handle your forearms, lower legs, and the area needed to create the legs."

Peter breathed in and out as the green-haired boy looked at Mei in surprise. The girl, Eri, was still in Izuku's arms.

"Regardless, Iron Spider is ready to engage." Karen said in his ear. "Operating at... fifty-seven percent efficiency."

"Better than nothing."

He felt the rush of nanomachines, a feeling he never imagined he'd feel again, flowing over his chest, arms, and across his back. The machines went up to his head, covering his open patch as he saw his HUD return to normal. It shifted down to cover his forearms and his calves and feet, connected by a flexible line going up and down his Stark Suit. Peter turned to the pinkette.

"Mei, please be safe. Okay?"

"Only if you are. I just… I don't want to see you hurt… please just don't… " Mei pleaded.
He looked back, the pink-haired girl looking at him with desperate eyes.

He gave a thumbs-up.

"You got it."

Peter rushed back into the fray, webbing up to a street lamp and propelling himself off of it, flying through the air as he bolted through the city towards the hospital. Overhaul was lurching his way towards Shoto, stone meeting frost and flame as the monstrosity's hands slammed into the ground. Stone pillars and spikes raged on, some even plunging towards Shoto as they burst through the glaciers.

He landed on a water tower and launched himself, sending a web at Shoto to reel him in and pull him up as stone pillars converged on his position.

"Parker?!" Shoto gawked as Peter kept him safe with an iron leg cradling him. He winced a bit. Was he hurt already?

"Heya," He said as he landed on a building and turned, seeing Overhaul open his beak for the villain to see the battlefield, and subsequently noticed them.

"How did you…?" Shoto asked.

"Long story, tell ya later." Peter replied as he saw Overhaul loom and slam his many hands down towards them once more. "Can ya cook him up?" Peter launched from another building, landing on another as the prior one was shredded by the onslaught of concrete and steel.

"Tried. Hasn't stuck." Shoto replied.

"Shame. Well, Heroes are on the way, think you can get him pinned?" Peter smiled.

"You think you can get away from here so easily!?" Overhaul roared, the monster looming as Peter looked up at him.

"Karen?" Peter asked as his vision seemed to return to normal, the HUD no longer showing red.

"Yes Peter?"

"Show me a sweet spot."

Spider-Man's eyes glowed blue as he leapt into the fray. He bolted from a street lamp and flew through the air, firing at Overhaul's open beak with web nets and bombs. Fire and ice blasted out from one side as Momo's drones swerved and flew towards the rampaging monster.

Sakaki Deidoro was not having a good day.

Most of his fellow Precepts had been incapacitated, at least those not merged with the boss. He limped and hid amongst the wreckage inside the first floor of the hospital, feeling his leg sting as he looked up at the battle taking place above.

Swerving drones. Glaciers and fire blasts. And a blue blur swinging about as the Boss tried to swipe at them from the ruined mass of land that used to be the street.

"Gnnngh… I gotta help the boss." He slurred, a side effect of his Sloshed quirk effectively making him a functional alcoholic. He did have one thing he could rely on.

Deidoro reached into his pocket, grabbing his custom pistol that had withstood his fight from earlier, and a nice hard case.

The black-haired Yakuza opened it and loaded the gun with the case's contents of a Quirk Erasing Bullet.

The Boss was pinned down from those drones. They needed to get what they came here for before they could make like trees and leave. These brats were stalling now!

Still, those drones had to come from somewhere and-

"GRAAAAAAGH!" Deidoro jumped to the side, plunging into the hospital as the Boss thrashed about and slammed against the building, crashing into the glass as fire and ice blasted him. Deidoro winced, getting as low as possible as he hid behind a stone pillar.

He waited for the cacophony to stop, seeing the earth shift as the Boss grabbed more concrete with his quirk and surged out with more spires at his attacker as he rampaged. Now there was a massive gouge in the hospital, with many of the floors exposed to the open air.

The Yakuza saw a drone fly out and he grinned. So that's where they were coming from. Inside the hospital! Was a Pro Hero on the scene?

Deidoro scampered along, going for the emergency stairs as he began to climb. He saw that drone exit from the fourth floor as he loaded the bullet into the gun.

He was lucky to bring along one of these just in case. The Boss wouldn't be happy that he stole from the supply cache, but hey, with his Quirk and good aim, he could tag any hero who got drunk off of Sloshed and then, they'd be a hero no more, hehe~.

The Yakuza got to the fourth floor and began to slink along the hospital hall, even removing his shoes to be all quiet-like.

With those drones taken out, it was only a matter of time before the Boss could handle the rest of those slop-eating dogs.

Peter swung and leapt across the stone towers and debris, firing web bullets at Overhaul as the villain stormed out of the hospital.

"Momo okay?" Peter asked.

"She's fine Peter. She's moving away from her current position, trying to find an easier route for the drones to fly out of. Overhaul crashing into the hospital blocked some key routes." Peter landed on a lightpost, Overhaul roaring as he slammed down, and a wave of spikes and towers erupted like a wave. Shoto blocked it all with a surge of ice smashing against the rock to slow it down as he surged out of the way and atop buildings. Izuku was with Eri still, playing keepaway while Overhaul seemed hellbent on catching him.

He swung a line towards the top of the hospital and began to run along the glass before jumping across to the other side. "Alright. Time for the Hoth Walker Maneuver." He murmured. If he could bring him down and tie him up snowspeeder-style, it might be enough to stun him. He got to the top of the building. With enough speed, he could swing his web around and avoid those hands of his to tie him up. Shoto was still running interference while Momo's drones peppered him with stun grenades and web bombs.

He even saw Momo by a tilted vending machine on the fifth floor. With Overhaul rampaging, he didn't notice her as Peter saw the glow of her midsection as she made another drone.

Perfect.

Time to swing into action!

Peter fired a line across to the other end of the open gouge of the hospital and began to swing in like Tarzan until he saw it.

A man raising a gun, taking aim.

His target? An unaware Momo Yaoyorozu.

Peter's blood turned to ice.

"No."

It was all happening so fast, he didn't hear Karen.

He aimed his web mid-swing, firing it towards the black-haired girl.

It latched to the wall behind her, and he pulled.

The gun fired.

He saw Momo's eyes widen in surprise for a moment.

He tackled her in the midsection, right when he felt something impact his stomach, where his costume was exposed due to battle damage.

He tumbled into a heap, hand going to his side as he groaned.

(X)

Everything had fallen into chaos.

She needed a faster venue to get the drones into action, prompting her to move into an open room on the fifth floor.

Momo saw Peter ready to swing down, before something made him fire a line and tackle her. Right when a gunshot rang out.

She grunted before she rose to her feet, the boy groaning under her. "Peter are you alr-"

Her eyes widened, seeing the red capsule pinned in his side.

"A Quirk Eraser…" She uttered as she heard drunken cackling.

"Boss! Boss! I got the spider! I got the-ACK!" Drones immediately swarmed the Hassaikai and he was peppered in web bombs and pinned to the floor as Momo looked down, jaw agog.

Oh god.

He took it.

For her.

"Peter!" Momo yelled, eyes wide in concern as she knelt by his side, the boy groaning as he looked back up.

"I'm okay, just, bullet not fun…" Peter groaned.

"He must have avoided the cameras." Karen said in her ear. "Momo, it's okay. He's-"

"He's lost his quirk. He lost his quirk because of me!" Momo trembled, feeling the guilt swell within her as she backed away, hands raising to her cheeks.

Peter's quirk… was gone!

He suffered again.

Just like back at the USJ.

He would never be a hero again.

Because of her!

"Well well well!" Boomed a voice as Momo turned, seeing the monstrous red-skinned monstrosity turn towards her, the beak barely open but she could feel those eyes glaring at her.

"Ah yes! Seems one of my subordinates kept one of the Quirk Erasers on their person! And the little spider got tagged!" Overhaul howled triumphantly. Momo saw him leer down at him as the massive beast impacted the ground, spires and pillars erupting out towards Shoto's direction and against the hospital. Izuku had to jump to avoid the storm of spikes.

"Now, I will crush you, little shit. Those drones are annoying gnats!" Overhaul declared. "And then, I'll do the same to every last one of you! And Eri too, but I'll actually bring her BACK!"

Momo dragged Peter's body away from the open room, right in time as a stone tower obliterated it on the spot. She needed to get him away from there.

Then…

Her mind went to creating a grenade launcher.

That bastard was going to hell. Today.

"This is all YOUR FAULT Eri!" Overhaul cackled as his voice echoed loudly, mouths appearing all over his body to speak in a chorus akin to the damned.

"Creati!" It was Midoriya, swinging in on his Black Whip as he ran towards her. Eri was attached to his back in a way similar to a harness as he sped towards her.

Overhaul blasted a wave of stone towards where Shoto was, who countered with ice but he was pinned down as Overhaul was barreling towards her!

Forget the drones.

She sought to create the grenade launcher but winced.

Damnit, she needed to eat!

"You could have healed this sick world! A world sick with heroes and villains! With Quirks! We could have erased it all! Brought it all back to normal! Before the Dark Ages brought this status quo to torment us all! You have a great power Eri…" Overhaul's eyes curved in dark satisfaction as his many hand-legs rose up, ready to slam down and send a storm of spears and spikes in all directions. Right on top of her too as the monstrous spider climbed the hospital, his shadow looming over her and Peter.

She saw Midoriya rear back his fist, beginning to glow red. Much akin to the red glow he had when he destroyed that Zero Pointer Robot.

Momo rushed the creation, to use her fat cells!

And the handle of the launcher appeared as she was ready to pull and aim.

"And with it… COMES GREAT RESPONSIBILITY!"

A blue and red blur burst out beside her as Momo froze. It slammed into Overhaul's main body with a kick, and the massive Kaiju roared in pain as it fell off the hospital. It slammed down to the ground in a massive quake, thanks to being raised up and on its back legs as Izuku's eyes widened and jaw dropped.

Momo felt her heart skip a beat as she saw a familiar shape land atop of a spire as Overhaul recovered.

"You…" Peter growled, raising his head, iron legs conjured behind his back. "Talk too much! Jackass!"

Overhaul crashed into the building and his head turned towards Peter, eyes wide with shock and disbelief.

"Peter?!" Momo uttered. He was okay!

"Impossible… IMPOSSIBLE! WHY!? HOW DO YOU STILL HAVE YOUR QUIRK!?" Overhaul bellowed.

Peter rolled his neck and smirked. Momo's eyes were wide as he reached for a spot on his costume that had skin showing, and pulled out the red bullet that had tagged him.

How… indeed. How did Peter not lose his quirk? Was it a dud?

And he crushed it in his hands.

"Heh." Peter reloaded his web cartridges as he smirked down at the beaked monstrous villain. "What made you think I had a quirk in the first place?"

Momo's jaw hung open.

"What?" Momo muttered aloud. She saw Midoriya on a stone pillar, face mirroring her own.

Silence reigned as Overhaul's main body seemed to shake. Fear. Gobsmacked. Frustration. Anger.

"You… you're a mutation." Overhaul uttered. "A point of no return… of the Quirk Singularity…."

"Uhhh, the Quirk what now?" Peter asked in confusion.

"You… if you propagate. If your genes spread and mix with those cancerous quirks… the world will be doomed, beyond salvation!" The massive beast had its hands around the beak-like appendage, as if he was having a mental breakdown. "This world will be terminal! TERMINAL!"

"Okay I think he's losing it." Peter mused.

"FOR THE SAKE OF THE WORLD! YOU! MUST BE!" Overhaul roared as the massive beast lunged at the hospital. "EXCISED!"

Spider-Man avoided the lunging beast and leapt, swinging away. More of the drones fired and ice blasts kept pounding away, Overhaul roaring as more stone spires clashed against the twin elements and the automatons. Shards formed up, and Izuku raised his hand, the gauntlet bringing back the shield to cover him and Eri as he swung on his Black Whip.

Momo pulled out the launcher, aiming as she fired. Grenades exploded upon impacting Overhaul as she felt weak all of a sudden. The adrenaline rush pushed her on as she emptied the chamber, explosions cracking all over the beast as he roared in agony and staggered backward. The red main beak that hid Overhaul's human body was shredded. But he was healing.

She looked at Peter, relief filling her very core before she slumped against the wall.

"Your vitals are looking faint. You need to eat to replenish your reserves." Karen said in her ear.

Momo obliged, running back into the hospital. The vending machine had been taken out with that open room.

"Leave coordinating the drones to me. We have some ammo left, and if need be, we can kamikaze." Karen said. "Use your Quirk to make grenades to reload."

Momo nodded. But in the back of her mind… she needed to talk to Peter.

Because now she had so many questions.

(X)

How did Parker overcome getting hit by the Quirk Eraser?

It was a thought that persisted in Izuku's mind, but it was put on hold. Eri was on his back being held tight by Black Whip, and with her arms wrapped around his throat as he landed on the street. Overhaul roared and swiped at Parker while being bombarded with both Shoto's elemental blasts and the ordinance of Momo's drones.

A momentary reprieve to finally catch his breath.

"Hey! Deku!" Izuku heard a voice as he landed, causing him to turn. It was Kirishima! He was banged up, but he was running over and waving his arms.

"Red Riot!"

"Back up Ace! I'll protect Eri here!" Kirishima ran up, smiling wide despite his many bruises, cuts, and bloodstains on his body.

"B-But you're hurt…" Eri uttered, the girl uneasy. Kirishima gave a big grin, and brought his fist over his chest.

"Just a scratch! Dontcha worry!" He looked up to Izuku, and nodded. "Trust me. And I trust you and Ace will finish this."

Izuku gulped, hearing Overhaul roar as he got back up, Peter swinging around with those web bullets of his, and any spires or stones sent were being sliced and punctured by those metal legs once more. The arms seemed to have their nanomachine covering, but instead the legs looked like it was rotating, like drills or saws as they sliced and destroyed the spires sent Peter's way.

He set Eri down as Kirishima got to her side, lifting her up. Izuku took a deep breath and saw a hand curving around as Overhaul tried to rush at Peter, fire and ice roaring from his rear, and he saw the drones.

He even saw big explosions upon the main body as grenades were being fired out, likely from Momo's grenade launcher as it staggered the monster.

One for All. Twenty Percent!

He blasted out and swung his leg at the arm as he batted it aside, sending it to the ground, his other arm lashing out with Black Whip.

"SMASH!"

He fired the Black Whip right at Overhaul's maw, the main body smothered in darkness and blinding him.

"Atta boy Midori! Wanna take him down?" Spider-Man was grinning behind his mask.

Deku grinned right back.

"On my left!" He shouted.

(X)

They didn't need to say a word, they simply acted.

Peter and Izuku were twin blurs, one surrounded by green lightning and the other shining in blue light. When a pillar of stone came up, Izuku leaned to the side and punched it with his red-covered shield, cutting the spike off. Webbing grabbed hold of the broken spike, and Peter did a flip as he launched it at Overhaul. It disintegrated against the villain's open palm before his side was enveloped in a flash of ice.

Shards of frozen material punctured Overhaul's side. It shattered as a palm slapped against it, Overhual's quirk turning it back into water, but fire soon burned there instead, making the villain cry out in pain from the steam and flame.

Izuku lashed out with Black Whip, tagging onto Overhaul's main body as he reeled himself in fast. He kicked him right in the face, and used it to propel himself away as he saw a webline tag onto the main body.

Spider-Man came right in from the building with a punch to the jaw of Overhaul. His metal legs propelled him away before the main body or the red-Kaiju hands could swipe at him as the two landed on debris.

Drones came flying in, launching web bombs and grenades at the main beak. Overhaul clamped up to protect himself as Izuku covered his ears, the stun grenades going off as the drones flew away after their bombing run. More grenades were launched from the hospital in a barrage, peppering it with explosions as Momo fired them from cover at the monstrosity.

"Move!" Shoto yelled, prompting Peter and Izuku to jump out of the way, only for a superheated blast of steam, fire, and ice to impact the monstrous villain as Overhaul roared in agony, the massive fire-steam blast burning away the monstrous limbs as a heat haze fell over the battlefield.

Peter and Izuku landed beside Shoto, who was panting after releasing that blast.

"Think that did it?" Shoto asked.

There was a crack almost like a fist smacking into Peter's back before he, Izuku and Shoto spun around-

"I came as fast as I could." Edgeshot stood there, the top ten pro overlooking the shattered remains of the ruined district; his eyes narrowed. "Where's Mirko?"

Peter flinched, with his mask Edgeshot couldn't see his expression, but Izuku's wince was clear as day.

"I… She's dead sir." The green-haired boy explained.

Peter saw the man's expression shift, the slack of surprise and disbelief giving way to a stony, utterly chilling expression. "Who?"

As if to answer his question, the ground itself began to rumble.

Then; with a tremendous explosion of dust, dirt and concrete, multiple stone pillars burst outward through the steamy haze, like the epicenter of a crater. Jagged spikes emerged as Overhaul's monstrous Kaiju body rose above the twisting malformed landscape. Peter grabbed onto Shoto and leapt backwards, as did Izuku.

"FINE! I WILL DESTROY EVERYTHING HERE! I'LL JUST HAVE TO FIND ERI'S LITTLE CORPSE NEXT!" Overhaul bellowed as the giant red monstrosity opened its beak, Overhaul appearing from within.

The Monster lunged for them.

"DIE! SPIDER-MAAAAA-!"

There was a sudden sound of something popping, like a watermelon being crushed.

Overhaul took one more lumbering step, then a second, slower one.

Then he collapsed. His titanic body crashed to the ground, eyes wide open.

There was a hole the size of a grapefruit bored through his skull.

Edgeshot reappeared right in front of the three of them. His hand and arm were covered in blood.

A dust cloud billowed from the beast falling down, and Izuku looked at Edgeshot, eyes wide as Peter supported Shoto.

"I- you..." Izuku stuttered, wide-eyed.

Edgeshot looked at his bloodied hand.

"Villains forget." The man explained softly in a voice that made a very real chill crawl down Peter's spine. "It's the heroes that are holding back in these fights."

"You guys! You guys!" Shouted Kirishima as Izuku turned, feeling the adrenaline fade and he suddenly felt exhausted, leaning against a piece of debris. He saw Momo come out of the hospital, Eri in her arms. "We did it! You guys alright?" He said as Izuku looked back at Peter, his nanomachine mask sliding down to reveal his damaged one as Peter sighed.

"We're still alive, that's what counts." Peter replied. "You won the day Midori." He said, offering a sad smile.

"But… Mirko…" Eri uttered, as Momo put a hand on her shoulder in solidarity, and Edgeshot turned to her.

"Mirko? What about her? Say where is-" Kirishima muttered, blinking as everyone went silent. Shoto looked away and Izuku looked to the ground. "No… s-she couldn't have, right?"

"Overhaul got her… and used her. Merged with her." Peter uttered darkly. Kirishima gawked, eyes wide.

"No…" He stumbled and leaned against an overturned car, as if something had been torn out of him.

"Don't blame yourself. Either of you." Edgeshot stated. "She gave her life in the line of duty, and to protect others." The man solemnly said. "There's nothing we can do…"

"I want her back…" Eri uttered, her eyes wet as she walked towards the dead and giant body. Izuku looked to her, seeing Overhaul's main corpse, with the horn-like ears atop his brow, how he had boasted muscles all over. She placed her hands on the reddened body. "I want her back…" She wept.

"Eri-chan?" Momo asked aloud, as she walked up to join the group.

"I'm sorry little one, there's nothing we can do." Edgeshot said. "We need-"

Izuku felt the buzz in his head, blinking.

Her horn was… glowing. "I want her back!"

"Guys." Peter perked up. "I'm picking up some weird readings."

"I want her back!" Eri wailed, crying as her horns glowed, as did her hands.

"Wait!" Izuku leapt away with Edgeshot, Peter grabbing Momo and jumping back as Shoto and Kirishima backed off. A great surge of light erupted from the main body of Overhaul, blinding Izuku as he cried out in shock.

It washed over them all, and Izuku had to blink to get his sight back to normal as he looked down.

Gone was the giant spider-like kaiju, and in its place, was four figures. The big hulking Rikiya, the dead Overhaul, and a beaked member of the Hassaikai.

Izuku's jaw dropped.

"No way." Peter uttered, his eyes wide as Shoto stood silent. Kirishima was frozen as Edgeshot's eyes widened.

Laying before them as well… before Eri who had knelt down, crying, her horn shrunk.

"Mirko!" Peter yelled, running to the Rabbit Hero. Her costume was still there, her body back to normal as her eyes were closed. He leaned down, resting his head on her chest as he tore off his mask.

"W-What was that?" Asked Hatsume, who came out of the wreckage with wide eyes.

"How is this possible?" Shoto asked.

"Eri's quirk…" Edgeshot mused. "It had the power to erase Quirks, but… this is different." the man said. "No, it wasn't erasing quirks, it's different."

"How did she split up Overhaul though?" Kirishima asked.

"Come on! Stay with me!" Peter pumped his hand on her chest. "Karen! Give me a shock here!" His hands glowed with electricity. "Clear!" Right between her breasts, he gave her an electric charge, the body shaking. He leaned in, and opened her mouth to breathe, her throat bulging. Momo knelt down, hands glowing as salts came out in little bottles.

"Smelling salts." She uttered, her eyes looking up to Peter as the boy brought his hands back, the palms glowing blue.

"Allow me." Edgeshot knelt down, his arm folding as it went into Mirko's ear… "Found her heart… pumping…" He murmured, eyes laser-focused. "Give her some air." Peter nodded, the blue glow fading as he followed the CPR procedure.

Izuku had a hand on Eri's shoulder, the girl whimpering as he gave her shoulder a squeeze. "It'll be okay." Izuku said to her, as he gave her a smile. "It'll be okay." It may not be… but what else could he say to this girl, after everything?

A cough was heard and Peter backed off, as did Edgeshot. Mirko's eyes shot open as she hacked and wheezed, the Rabbit Hero stammering and gasping as she finally regained consciousness.

"Wha… The actual f-" she paused, her red eyes wide as she saw Eri who stood there, gobsmacked. "Eri…"

"RUMIIII!" The girl wailed and she ran up, a tackle becoming a hug as Mirko embraced her.

(X)

Peter fell to his knees, dumbfoundment accompanied by a stress-relieving laugh as he smiled, feeling emotions pour out as he took a deep breath.

"Hnng… hey… what… what's going on…" Mirko groaned as Peter looked up at her, eyes wet with tears as she looked back between him and Eri.

"Incredible…" Momo uttered.

She didn't go away. She didn't go away because of his mistake.

Rumi held onto the crying girl, who's tears of sadness became joy as the sun began to break through the clouds of dust and debris, shining upon them all.

Peter sat up, feeling the tears as he saw the look of relief and joy on both Eri and Mirko's expressions.

She didn't go away, like he did.

She didn't go away.

Big thanks to IKnowNothing , Ld1449 WildJoker000 Buried In Ash and Vandenbz

This took... a while. And a lot of rewriting. But it's finally done, the end of the Hassaikai Arc. Lots of fixing stuff around, rewriting patches. And had to change up a scene, but it is for the best thanks to IKN's comics Spider-Man knowledge. If you know what it is, you'll know. But the constant rewrites did help sap my morale in writing this up. At the very least, I know how the next arc will go, thankfully so that'll be an easier resolution.

Up next is the Epilogue Arc. Wouldn't mind it taking 6 chapters for wrap up(66. 606, get it?). Or it could end sooner, we will see. Either way, we have lots to cover in the aftermath and the Culture Festival going on next.

Now I'm going off to Vegas. I'm staying indoors thankfully because fuck hot triple digit weather.

Hope you all enjoyed this. I'll see you in the next one.
