Moonlight love
It was a gorgeous night Mirabel and Miguel were on their walk talking about things that were weird and crazy granted some of them were crazy ideas like new food, new books and sometimes just random things.
"What If churros could be mixed with pan dulce?" He asked
She shook her head and shrugged.
"Maybe Although wouldn't it be too sweet". Mirabel replies
"Maybe you're right". Miguel smiled
"Okay I have got one". Mirabel laughed
"Go for it". He nodded
"What if books had golden handwriting that way when you say the words the book just flies open ?" Mirabel coaxed
"Mira". He chuckled lightly
"What you said all ideas are welcome ". Mirabel replies
"Yeah but realistic not everything has to involve magic you know". Miguel smiled
"Oh like your churro idea wasn't much better". Mirabel laughed
"Ohhh That was below the belt". Miguel hugged her and she laughed
As she laughed Miguel smiled as his cheeks turned red he loved her with all his soul, as she looked into his eyes she saw a twinkle in them.
"What?" Mirabel smiled
He didn't even say a word and kissed her passionately and full of love and life. She felt her cheeks turn red as they kissed and then slowly pulled apart. This relationship was going on for 3 years and they loved everything about it.
Yet they were both ready for something more but they were too afraid of hurting each other which was understandable they knew This was something they had never experienced and like any new couple they were afraid .
As they walked to the river it was beautiful the moonlight hit the water it sparkled, Mirabel smiled at the sight but all Miguel could focus on was his love he knew he would wait a thousand years until she was ready he would wait a thousand years more she was the love of his life after all.
Mirabel took off her shoes and slowly walked to the water to dip her feet in and Miguel smiled as he did the same.
"So any new ideas for music ". Mirabel asked
"Maybe a couple Mi Amor but just melodies no lyrics yet". Miguel smiled
Oh how she loved when he called her that it sent shivers up the spine every time he said it but she knew she'd wait until he was ready he was the love of her life after all, for a moment they sat there in silence his hand gently on her knee as they watched the stars.
Miguel thought just how lucky he was to have found his love, his Diosa his whole world and three years over the time he spent with her in this new romantic relationship and her whole family was pure heaven, The same went with his family. She and Socorro had bonded very well and clearly Hermanas till the end sometimes even ganging up On Miguel when they both wanted something, with Rosa she takes trips to the local library and read upon the most random things, with his mother grandmother and tia's they would take spa days or sometimes helping in the kitchen even though they had insisted she didn't need to she helped anyway.
With Abel, Manny ,Benny she played games with them and pretend she was a fairy or a beast, with Abel they would sand shoes and talk or she would help deliver orders with him (sometimes even compliments on Mirabel's beauty.) Abel would tell all the boys of town to back off and that she was clearly taken.
And lastly with his grandfather and Tio , father she taught them all about wire cutting and sculptures and stitching stuff she got taught when she was little ; They adored her they all felt like she was part of their family. More so then her own which is why on her birthday she got gifted some specially made Rivera boots that is a tradition that every woman in the family ethier born or coming into the women gets their own pair with their initials carved on the bottom with last name being Rivera it was a way of being welcomed into the family or a proud stance and promise.
Miguel looked at his novia and smiled her eyes had that twinkle and he smiled he kissed her but this time it was sweet and full of hunger and longing he knew if this were to go too far their relationship would never be the same again so he gently pulled away and was walking back, But then he felt a gentle hand on his wrist .
"Wha-" He stopped
She kissed him back with such hunger and longing that it sent shivers up his spine then she said something he never in a million years thought she would say, he thought it never would come true.
"I'm ready". she whispered
"Are you sure?" He asked
She nodded.
"Okay have y-you done this before?" He gulped clearly nervous
"No". She blushed
God she was making him nervous with that smile and he felt weak in the knees.
"Estas bien". She smiled
"Si si it's just I've never…" Miguel looked shy as he turned red
"You've never done it before ". Mirabel stated slowly
God she was making him nervous suddenly his thing was jumping out. She on the other hand felt herself tighten and her stomach was full of butterflies.
"It's okay if you're not ready ". She said sounding a little nervous
He then kissed her hungry for her lips for everything and she kissed back full of burning sensation wanting , pleading it all came down to this. He continued to kiss down her neck and she moaned full of Ecstasy Miguel stopped for a minute she didn't want him to but he spoke.
"I promise I will never hurt you okay Mira?" He made sure she understood
She nodded shyly
" And if you want me to stop just let me know okay?" He asked
She nodded and then spoke.
"I will never hurt you too and If you want me to stop just say so Okay ?" She asked
He nodded slowly.
"I trust you ". She smiled
"It's okay". Mirabel replies
"I know it's just…" He stopped
"It's okay take your time ". She reassured him
So he slowly kissed her and he did so carefully unbuttoning her blouse as he kissed up her neck. Mirabel couldn't believe this was happening , as she pressed kisses to his collarbone as she slowly removed his shirt and he growled Mirabel smiled looking deeply into his eyes she moaned as he unclamped her bra and kissed her back as she felt her knees giving in, a chill went up her spine.
"Mi musico". She moaned
God she was beautiful as he removed her skirt he couldn't even breathe when he looked at her His novia, his Mirabel, His princess she was his everything .
"Mi princessa". He growled
He looked at her and kissed her hair as she removed his pants. She gave him the most loving look he ever saw and he picked her up and cuddles her close their naked bodies intertwined with each other, he took care of her and protected her and kept her safe.
"You're absolutely amazing ". He whispered
She couldn't answer she was being rocked on his legs his hips did the pounding as he cumed into her he was making love to the love of his life and he lost it.
"M-i-iguel Please I'm gonna cum". Mirabel stammered
But she didn't want to stop she moaned as he sent kisses up her back and on her collarbone, when it was her turn she rocked her legs spread wide as he sucked her special place.

"Promise me something?" She asked
He mumbled a 'yes' in her chest as she swayed gently with him.
"Never leave me". She begged as she smiled gently
He stopped and looked at her with sad eyes and she was afraid of what he would say.
"My darling I would never do such a thing you mean the world to me I promise on my life you are too precious to me ". Miguel smiled
"I know I just.." She looked at him
"Mi Mirabel please don't worry I hate when you do, Mi Amor I promise and when I promesa I never break it ". Miguel replies
"Trust me". Miguel laughs
"I do". She nodded
For the next 45 minutes Love was made, Miguel was Careful every step of the way and they adored each other and when they were done the fell into a sticky sleepy mess clothes were back on and they fell asleep .
~~ The next morning ~~
When Mirabel awoke she realised she'd slept over she suddenly smiled at the man sleeping peacefully with her in his arms her love her Miguel.
"Mhmm " .he mumbled
"Buenos Dias". She called
"Good morning Mi Amor ". He smiled
Miguel turned to see the sun had risen over the mountains and he slowly got up as did Mirabel.
"Well we'd better head back otherwise both our families will kill us". Mirabel replies
"Si". Miguel smiled
They held hands as they walked back to town.
"You do know you mumble in your sleep". Mirabel laughed
"I don't know what you're talking about ". Miguel lies
"No,no it's more like a whistle ". Mirabel chuckled
"Oh how you wound me". Miguel put a hand on his chest.
Once they made it to Casita before he left he kissed her hand and bowed to her, Mirabel blushing like crazy. He left through the door as he waved goodbye , She sighed dreamily as she entered the house her family at the breakfast table.
"Where have you been?" Isabela asked
"I could ask the same question ". Bruno said
"Mija eat". Julieta put an Arepa to her mouth
"Seriously I need answers ". Isabela said
"No not telling". Mirabel folded her arms
Dolores searched her face and then gasped and then pulled her into La sala to talk.
"Excuse me I need to talk to mi Prima girls talk Isa, Lu come with me". Dolores asked
The rest of the family was confused and very worried.
"Alright Mira fess up ". Dolores started
"Okay just don't freak out, Miguel didn't force me we decided we were ready just so you know". Mirabel replies
"Wait.." Isabela looked shook
Luisa had the same look and smiled.
"Yes we did it Please don't be mad". Mirabel replies
"Mira we are not mad were happy for you and we know Miguel is trusting he is our hermano and he would love you till the end". Luisa said
"I can't believe you did it". Isabela sighed
"Oh our Hermanita is growing up I am so proud". Dolores cried
"So I have to ask how was it?" Luisa asked
"It was… Amazing he made me feel safe and he made me laugh". Mirabel recalls
"That's what it should feel like, oh my Hermanita I am so proud and happy". Isabela sighed
"Si, as long as he treats you like a princess and is kind and loves you all of you that's all that matters". Luisa said
"He did and funny thing it was his first time to". Mirabel replies
"Wait Really!?" Dolores started
"Now that's a man he has found his love of his life oh Mi Hermanita you know what this means right?" Isabela questioned
"What?" She coaxed
"He wants to be with you forever and not with any other woman cause you are the only one for him". She smiled and sighed
"Isa I know". Mirabel replies
"But now you know ". Dolores started
"Why do you think he's only waited til the right time and never made love with anyone else ". Luisa smiled
"Why?" Mirabel asked
"Because he was waiting for you". Dolores sighed
Mirabel 's eyes widened and then she melted into a smile.
"Oh how romantic ". Isabela quivered
"Really you think?" She asked
"We know". Dolores hummed
"Oh I am so happy for you". Luisa cried
When they came out of La sala they were met with the rest of the family, their eyes were very confused.
"Estas Bien Mija?" Augustin starts
"Si Papá ". Mirabel replies
"Seriously what were you guys talking about?" Camilo asked
"Can't say confidential Hermanito ". Dolores giggles
"Okay you don't have to tell me but I will find out". Camilo states determined
"I second that I know you went on the date with Miguel last night Mariposa but what's… OH OH NO WHAT DID HE DO TO YOU!!" Bruno replies
" I don't know what you're talking about Tio ". Mirabel nervously smiled
"Don't you TIO me young lady you have some explaining to do ". Bruno crossed his arms
"But first every small child out of the room now". Bruno asked
Pepa guides the kids out of the room.
The room was then locked and turned into a questioning.
"Bruno What are you-" Julieta stopped
Bruno gave her and Augustin a look that said it all.
"Oh OH OH OH MIJA Aww ". Julieta's face turned into A face of realisation and then it's softened into a smile.
"You had SEX!?" Pepa screamed
"Sssh not so loud". Mirabel hushed
"Mi vida you realise this is big right?" Félix asked
"Yes and we went over it Miguel and I decided we were ready this was his first time to". Mirabel explains
"Really?" Bruno coaxed
"Si." She shook her head
Pepa, Felix, Augustin, and Bruno were surprised but happy for her they trusted Miguel and he treats her right.
"You guys Miguel treats Mira right I mean he doesn't play around and he is very attentive to her and respectful you know this, plus they are each other's love of each other's lives they both were respectful and waited until they were both ready; He would never hurt her even if he did I don't think he would I mean this man loves her to death He would jump into fire for her". Dolores started
"Si, Loli is right he adores and respects her and protects her with his life". Isabela added
Camilo was shook.
"We know that he won't hurt you Mija and we are happy for you but this is a big step are you sure?" Julieta asked
"Si Mamá we both agreed we were both ready ". Mirabel replies
"Did he hurt you in anyway?" Bruno asked
"No, he promised he never would and he keeps his word". Mirabel shook her head
"I asked him the same questions to so he wouldn't get hurt". Mirabel adds
"Okay that's very sweet ". Luisa quivering her lips
" And last question ". Felix starts
"Did you or did you not use protection ". Pepa adds
Mirabel was outrageously angry but understanding where all the questions were coming from.
"Yes yes we did I double checked ". Mirabel replies
"Good because I don't want to see my little girl getting pregnant at least not yet." Augustin smiled
"Papá that won't happen for a while yet I promise, Miguel Was in the right we trust each other and we know the boundaries of our relationship this was a big step for both of us and we were ready to take that step; Miguel doesn't treat me like a toy he treats me kind and fair and respects me and loves me for who I am nothing is ever gonna change that". Mirabel stood proudly
"Oh my baby is all grown up look at you ". Julieta smiled
"I'll say you've matured into a lovely woman Mariposa and we love you we just want to make sure your safe". Bruno exclaimed
"I know Tio and I love you so much but some things are meant to be private ". Mirabel replies
"Miguel is a very respectful man and we do enjoy the company and time, I mean How is it he's not been able to cut wood to make sure not to hurt himself ". Augustin starts
"Cuanado that's always you Miguel has taught you the right way". Pepa laughed
"Are we done?" Mirabel asked
"Si, I think they are done Hermanita ". Isabela laughed
Dolores giggles as Isabela brought a plate of arepas to her sister, Mirabel chuckled as they continued talking and Luisa smiles and Antonio is off playing with his Niece and nephew to keep them entertained as Antonio was in charge of baby sitting with Mariano.
"Later girls night my room, you can tell us all about your spicy soirée then". Isabela whispered and giggles
"Isa you really want to know every detail don't you?" Mirabel hissed
"Everything ". Isabela smiled
"Me too". Dolores started
"Alright girls night ". Mirabel nodded
Meanwhile when Miguel came home for breakfast he couldn't help but sigh as he walked through the door.
" Where have you been?" Rosa asked
"We've been worried sick, we didn't know if you were gonna come home". Luisa said
"I got a little caught up". Miguel replied
"Right with Mira I'm guessing ". Abel started
Miguel nodded as he tried to straighten his shirt collar and he smiled shyly as he fiddled with the buttons.
"Wait a second ". Abel stopped
"What?" Miguel coaxed
Rosa cheekily smiled as she knew what had happened, Franco had to stop working and so did Enrique and Berto as they both looked shook for a second but then broke out into smiles. Luckily the twins and Socorro hadn't come home from school yet so they could say it out loud.
"Whatever you think about saying keep it to yourself". Miguel sighed
" Someone tangoed with his love last night a very spicy tango". Berto smiled chuckling
Miguel blushed instantly as he turned red and Enrique joined in with a smile.
"Don't say it". Miguel gritted his teeth
"Mijo we are not saying anything ". Franco smiled
Miguel walked over to the kitchen table to grab some late breakfast and Elena sighed and chuckled lightly as she chopped carrots.
Miguel shook his head and smiled shyly as he grabbed his plate.
" Oh for the love of God if everyone's to be quiet about it just makes it more awkward yes you do trust me don't you?" Miguel sighed as he walked away with his plate
"Our Miguelito is all grown up". Berto chuckled
"And yes we do trust you and clearly Mira trusts you as well, I was so worried something wasn't gonna happen between you two that wasn't gonna be you know… physical". Enrique said
"Enrique ". Luisa scolded
"What it's true isn't it?" Enrique smiles
" Okay I'm going to go to bed before I throw up good night". Miguel called
"Mijo it's morning". Carmen sighed
" I know that but I can't think of anything else right now". Miguel called as he went to his room
Carmen chuckled at how that sounded as her nephew went of to his room as the rest of the family sighed in contentment.
When Miguel had finished eating breakfast he had taken a shower and settled in to some new clothes, although he still held The rose scented perfume shirt as a reminder of his love for Mirabel. Addicting as it was he had to put it down; that is what it felt like making love to your best friend in the entire world and he couldn't have asked for any better person than his love his Mirabel.
He then drifted off into sleep thinking about seeing her soon he sighed and contentment he smiled as all he thought about was her forever and always.
