Chapter One: New Teammates
A/N: My apologies if Topher was out of character in this chapter. It's been a long time since I watched this season of Total Drama. I'll try to do better with him in the future chapters.
"This place is so strange." Samey says as Alexis is walking with her on the beach.
"I know right. Honestly worries me what else Chris has in mind for us." Alexis says.
"Yeah." Samey says.
"Hey ladies." A voice says revealing to be Topher as he walks over smiling.
"Oh hey Topher." Samey says.
"Hi." Alexis says as she looks at Topher.
"Well hello." Topher says as he smiles at Alexis.
"Ugh." Alexis says as she rolls her eyes.
"Anyway Alexis I'm gonna head back. You need anything before I go?" Samey asks as Alexis looks at her.
"Nah I'm good. See ya Samey." Alexis says as she smiles.
"Bye." Samey says as she walks off before Alexis notices Topher staring at her.
"What?" Alexis asks annoyedly.
"Nothing. Just imagining how good you'd be as an assistant." Topher says as he chuckles.
"Excuse me?" Alexis asks annoyedly.
"You'd make a great assistant if I were to become host on Total Drama instead of Chris. I was watching you when we got here. Your wolf abilities would come in very handy." Topher says as he looks at Alexis.
"Oh please. I'm not interested in this." Alexis says as she begins to walk away only for Topher to follow her.
"Why not? A pretty girl like you ought to love that kind of thing." Topher says.
"Well I don't. Why are you so obsessed with Chris and being a host for anyway here? Aren't we all here just to win money?" Alexis asks as she looks at Topher.
"Not all of us. Some of us would like to have a chance at hosting." Topher says.
"And you really think you got a shot at that?" Alexis asks as she struggles back a chuckle.
"Why not? Chris is old news. Chris 2.0 is here to take over now. I got the looks and style to become the new host." Topher says.
"Sure you do hot shot." Alexis says as she chuckles.
"I'm serious. I didn't come here for the money. I came here because I'm such a fan of Chris and to replace him as the host." Topher says.
"Like that will happen. Chris will never give up his place as host." Alexis says as she looks at Topher in disbelief.
"He will. I'll take over as host before the end of the season. You'll see." Topher says.
"Well gotta admire your persistence." Alexis says as she smiles.
"So what's a pretty girl like you here for?" Topher asks as he smiles.
"Money. I came to win so that I can get away from the city." Alexis says.
"What's so bad about the city?" Topher asks curiously.
"You said it yourself earlier. I'm a wolf. Not many trust me because of that." Alexis says as she sighs.
"Oh I don't know about that. I think your abilities are kinda cool. They definitely came in handy earlier." Topher says as Alexis looks at him.
"Thanks I guess." Alexis says.
"So uh I'm gonna go try to scrounge up some food. Wanna join?" Topher asks.
"Why?" Alexis asks curiously.
"If I'm gonna be here I wanna know who I can trust and who I can't. And it wouldn't hurt having a companion to talk to until I replace Chris. So you interested?" Topher asks as he smiles.
"Sure I guess." Alexis says.
"Great. Come on beautiful." Topher says as he gestures for Alexis to follow.
"Don't call me that." Alexis says annoyedly.
"Got it." Topher says as he chuckles and walks off with Alexis.
