Muzan Kibutsuji was dead- dying at the hands of The Demon Slayers after warring with them for over 1000 Years. When he died, he knew full well that he was never going to reincarnate... or so he believed! After an untold amount of time in the void, a strange voice gave him a choice, remain in the void for the rest of time? Or... become reborn. He chose the latter.

27. Quick Notice

Don't freak out! This isn't a notice of cancellation. I'm simply letting you guys know that I am going through the old chapters of this story (particularly volumes 1 and 2) and editing each chapter so that they match my current standards. If I see fit, I'll also be editing Volume 3 and maybe what's currently there for Volume 4, though I doubt it.

I'm a perfectionist at heart. It's hard for me to look back at my old work and not want to go back and fix it. So, that's what I'm going to do. I doubt it'll take that long, maybe a week at least and two to three weeks at most.

As for why, well, as I said, I'm a bit of a perfectionist. I hate outdated stuff and it even turns me off of reading stories if there's too much of a drastic change between earlier writing styles. Hence why I'm going back and fixing what I deem fixing. Those things include, but aren't limited to:

Continuity Errors

Grammar mistakes

Nonsense (i.e. stuff that makes no sense and/or shouldn't have been there in the first place)

Overly trope-y things that, once again, don't make sense

Needless drama.

Correcting characterization.

And that's just what I can think of on the top of my head. So, starting from July 1st (today as of writing this) to whenever I'm finished, this story is going to be overhauled.
