Plot:

The Arc opens with Greg, Rowley and Holly, now 8th graders during winter break, going to a mountain to sled and Greg bets he can get down the fastest and stands on his snow board and surfs down arrogantly laughing as he leaves Holly and Rowley behind but fails to see Fregley in front of him building a snowman and Greg crashes right through making Fregley scream in rage and Greg yells "Sorry!" and keeps sledding but Patty Farrell sees him and she turns her snowboard to crash it into Greg's flipping him over.

Holly and Rowley rush over to check on Greg and chew out Patty and Patty responds with "Well maybe if you weren't so gay I wouldn't have seen you." And walks off laughing. "Late Merry Christmas! Guptastic Tidings to one and all!" Chirag yells in the background.

Then the opening animation of Greg's Cabin Fever Journal plays while giving credits and plays the DOAWK theme in the background.

Next day at school vice principal Roy announces an assembly that day. All Westmore students, including high school students attend with Roy explaining that too many students are going to the same high school so to solve this problem the bottom 20% of west more students in terms of behavior and grades will be expelled in an event called expulsion-ation.

The students threw a fit at this and Greg assumed he was fine but looked at the list and saw he was just one below the line of being expelled or not expelled, so he naturally threw a fit knowing he won't be with Holly and Rowley.

He quickly develops a plan to convince Roy to give him a chance and asks Angie at her tip stand for advice, and Angie, who's already in high school tells him to talk to Roy and reason with him so he tells everyone what he's going to do.

Cue the song Happy day in Westmore*

He makes to Roy's office and gets ready to convince him.

Cue the song Westmore's Forever*

The plan fails and Roy informs Greg he is now getting expelled in 3 months instead by the end of the school year.

Later, Greg, Holly and Rowley talk outside school at the courtyard of what they should do but suddenly Fregley, who has overdosed on sugar starts going rabid and lunges at them so Greg with quick thinking spots the other half of the cheese that wasn't eaten and touches it then touches Fregley causing Fregley to disintegrate into cheesy dust.

Greg screams wondering what the wimp just happened or how that was possible and the 3 of them run away back to Greg's house. They discuss what they should do but then Chirag comes to visit and they try to keep it a secret but Rowley's fat ass blurts "Hey Chirag, we weren't talking about how Greg killed Fregley with the cheese, totally!"

Chirag looks suspiciously but seemingly buys it and they hang out with Angie later but Patty comes to their group hangout with her cheez-its group and makes fun of how gay Rowley is and pulls out a picture of a gay girl and compares Rowley to her making Angie angry.

Cue the song Respectless Homophobe*

Btw, Angie saying she has a boyfriend was a lie in the musical number, she just had to come up with an excuse.

Chirag sees Greg troubled and just knows what Rowley blurted earlier must be true so he comforts him.

Cue the song Whatever it takes for Greg/Rowley/Holly*

Chirag stops and thinks and realizes the cheese somehow has connection to Gupta energy, the same power that lets him turn invisible. Chirag knew that the origins of the Gupta empire was messy and complicated but never would've thought the cheese of all things would be involved.

That night, as a huge blizzard approaches Plainview, a spark of light, a spirit, floats by the court yard where Fregley was disintegrated and the cheesy dust latches onto the spirit and the spirit struggles but is consumed and Fregley's body is reformed only all of the memories of his past have returned to him and he roars monstrously.

Chirag hears the roar and investigates and sees Fregley and Fregley attacks him and they fight and Chirag punches his fist clean into Fregely's face knocking the spirit out of him but Fregley's body remains and he roars and retreats.

Greg is holding a big sleepover at his house while his family is away visiting Grandpa, and he invites Rowley, Holly, Chirag, and Angie but while Chirag is on his way he's confronted by the spirit and he wonders what it is but is flashed by light and when he gets his vision back he's in a forest.

Chirag wanders around yelling for anyone to help but hears voices and he runs in that direction and sees a group of tribal soldiers conversing and he recognizes them as Guptan people, at least he thinks they look similar and Chirag waves his hand shouting "Salutations fellow Gupta's!" But they can't hear him and Chirag understands he's in some kind of vision from the past but is not sure how long ago this is. The soldiers each pull a totem out of their pockets and Chirag recognizes the totems as relics worshiped by the Gupta empire but he can't the remember their name.

The vision suddenly ends and Chirag is back in reality. He wonders what that was but shrugs it off and heads to Greg's house. Greg is waiting and Angie walks in and Greg says hi but then Angie says "I brought someone with me, hope that's okay!" And Greg wonders who it could be and worries it's someone he doesn't like but would take Collin of all people when Patty walks in.

Greg tries to play it cool and plays board games with everybody but Patty keeps giving death stares and Greg pulls Angie away later asking why she brought Patty. "She came and apologized later and said she was sad and lonely" explains Angie, but Greg still was not having it.

Late that night Greg goes to upstairs getting ready for bed as it was getting late and he sees it's snowing quite a lot outside and gets hyped because he wants to play in the snow. He checks on Holly before checking on Rowley and tells her goodnight but there's a bump beneath her bed and a voice says "Ouch" and Chirag crawls out. Holly asks what Chirag is doing and he says "Oh hello, Holly, I was just killing the monsters under your bed for you." Holly says that's nice and asks him to leave and Chirag sneaks into the closet without anyone looking and shuts to make it seem like he left.

Greg says he's going to check on Rowley and complains about Patty again and Holly tells him to just give Patty a chance and voice shouts "Patty's a bitch!" Chirag exclaims poking his head out the closet and Greg and Holly yell "Chirag! Get out!" And Chirag walks toward the door "Okay okay, if you insist, good god man…" he mumbles.

While Greg's walking towards the basement the same spirit appears and Greg thinks he's tripping from touching the cheese earlier and is flashed by light.

He looks around and sees a beautiful field with flowers and a river and sees a strange looking creature with a ginger haired person sitting by them. Greg shouts at them but no reaction is given. "Then you splice them together and voila! You have a slice of cheese!" The ginger haired person tells the creature, showing them the cheese. Greg then gets a closer look at the creatures figure and the ginger haired person says "Cmon Fregley, let's get back before dark."

"Fregley?" Greg wonders aloud and the vision ends and he's back in his house.

He kisses Rowley good night and is ready to go to sleep. In the morning, Angie tries to open the door for some air but screams and Greg runs to the front door and Angie is completely buried in snow and he shuts the door before anymore snow gets in and he looks out the window and sees the entire neighborhood is covered in snow and they are trapped inside the house. Everyone starts screaming and panicking.

Greg announces they must work together to survive until it's safe to leave.

Cue the song Cabin Fever*

Rowley is gathering food in the basement and the spirit approaches him and Rowley starts crying thinking it's going to attack him and he gets flashed and when he sees again he's outside a shrine.

He starts crying for Greg and Holly but then hears a voice. He looks at the top of the stairs to the shrine and sees a ginger haired person with a strange looking creature with cute little creatures by them. The ginger haired person says "These creatures you care for, where do they come from? I've never seen anything like them." The creature by her converses with strange noises. The ginger haired person stands up and looks in amazement at the light in the center of the shrine. "This energy is beautiful, it maintains and controls the power of chaos." Rowley tries to ask for help but the vision ends and he's back in the basement.

Greg comes down asking Rowley what's taking so long and Rowley screams his name and hugs him and Greg's just confused.

Patty, upstairs, is throwing an absolute tantrum, screaming "I THOUGHT IT WAS JUST ONE NIGHT, NOW I'M STUCK WITH THESE WIMPS!!!!!!!!!!" Angie comes see and tells her to calm down. Things look grim and Greg worries about getting expelled from school and starts crying but Rowley and Holly tell him everything will be okay and after 2 days, the blizzard lets up and it's finally possible to go out side and Patty rushes out the door exclaiming "BYE BITCHES!!!!!" Greg just sighs and he gets ready to help everyone leave.

Chirag is exploring town, seeing if he can find any clues connecting to Fregley and sees on a news report that 5 of the 7 ancient totems located within the Gupta empire in India have been reported stolen, oh yeah also some kid name Fregley's missing too.

Chirag remembers those same totems in the vision he saw and rushes home to his father asks him for help on what's going on without telling him the trouble he's been getting into. Mr Gupta explains the totems have been passed down for generations in the Gupta family but scattered all over the world one day, the empire only recovering 6 since then, Chirag asks why 5 were stolen and Mr Gupta said when he left the empire with Chirag, he took one Totem for safety without anyone knowing.

Chirag later sneaks into his dad's bedroom and turns invisible to sneak past his father and pick the safes lock and sure enough finds the green Chaos Totem inside and snatches it.

He goes to find someone who can help him and finds Angie and Patty at the street.

Angie is talking to Patty about something and Patty looks it up showing her search history for a brief second showing:

- Am I a lesbian?

- Am I attracted to women?

- Why am I homophobic?

Chirag walks to them and overhears "I swear I'm straight, I totally hate those zesty zest fest people!" Patty argues and Angie is about to say something but notices Chirag and stops and greets him.

Chirag explains all the weird stuff that's been happening staring with Fregley seemingly dying from the cheese touch and asks for help since Angie understands him better than anyone. Angie asks to hold the chaos totem and it glows when she turns around and she holds it out and they realize it might mean another Totem is nearby and Patty snatches it "Lets get this over with" and runs off with the totem with Angie telling her to wait up and Chirag tries to catch up with them but hears a voice, "Chirag Gupta."

He turns to see his cousin Emperor Amir of the Gupta Empire standing on top of a building with a helicopter near him. Chirag prepares for a fight as they were on bad terms the last time they met and Chirag was announced as an enemy of the empire. Amir drops down and tells Chirag he has nothing to worry about and he only needs to discuss something with Chirag.

Amir informs Chirag of the empires stolen totems from a rabid person. Chirag asks how Fregley got through all of the security and defenses and Amir recounted reports of Fregley supposedly growing stronger after he just obtained one totem and so he steamrolled from there and now he is powered by 5 totems and he's coming back to plainvew for the last 2. Chirag asked how Fregley ever would've thought to go to the Gupta empire in India of all places in the world and Amir can't give a good answer other than Fregley must have a connection to the Empire.

Patty continues running with the totem glowing brighter as she runs in the direction of which it glows brightest but suddenly the spirit appears in front of her and she's flashed and when she sees again she's in a war room inside a tent and sees a group of ginger people around a table and they discuss what seems to have been a recent attack from another tribe and the seemingly son of the person in charge makes a proposal. Patty realizes at this point that no one can hear or see her so she wonders if she's dreaming.

"They want our power, so let's use it against them, they won't see it coming so if we strike by tonight they won't be a problem anymore" explains the chiefs son. The chief looks ticked off and she scolds "The Chaos Energy IS NOT our power, Winston. You are foolish for believing these violent tactics will benefit us, the mere idea could destroy the structure of the island forever." Winston scoffs and the chief says "Boudicca, please go check on Fregley, the poor guy must be worried sick after today's attempted raid." The what seemed like chiefs daughter noded and left the tent. Patty watches and suddenly the vision ends and she hears Angie calling her name.

"You were completely frozen, I thought you were having a panic attack or something" Angie says. Patty tells Angie to mind her own business and walks with her to a graveyard and the totem glows brighter than ever as they approach a grave marking, -Forever Rest In Peace, Cherry Adam's, 1967-2003-. Then a dim light starts glowing from beneath the ground and another Totem rips out of the ground and floats in place and Angie grabs it. "Who was this person?" Angie wonders looking at the gravestone.

Chirag and Amir walk through town and Chirag asks, "Why are you helping me? I thought you wanted me imprisoned for "treason"." "Oh I do, but as long as I'm here privately, we need to work together" Amir replies. Angie and Patty start to head back to Chirag but hear a growl and Fregley, now 7 feet tall with long organic limbs and deformed looking overall, is charging at them.

Angie and Patty use one totem each to strengthen themselves and try to fight Fregley but with the power of 5 Totems, Fregley quickly over powers them and beats Patty down taking her Totem and when Fregley consumes the totem he grows larger and scarier looking and Patty yells at Angie to run and Angie bolts with her Totem as Fregley chases her down but eventually Angie makes it back to town and Fregley stays back seeing all the people in town and looks nervous and leaves before anyone sees him.

The spirit appears again and flashes Angie suddenly and Angie is outside at a camp where a tribe lives. She sees the main tent and a figure sneaks outside of it, not alerting the guards, and heads to another tent. Angie tries to ask for help but of course she's not really here in the vision. She walks through the main tent freely and sees a lifeless body on the bed, their clothing seemingly identifying they are the chief of this tribe, she seemed to have been poisoned in her sleep by someone. She then hears an aggressive argument and runs to the other tent which inside shows a war room and sees two ginger haired young people, looking like the children of the chief, in a conflict. "All we have to do is borrow the power, and things go back to normal!" The young ginger man argues. "You know mother's rule, and you will respect it!" Responds the other person. "Screw you Boudicca, I'm not worried about our mother anymore…" the one named Boudicca realizes what he means and grabs a shank as her brother attempts to kill her with a club and she ducks under and stabs him in the heel kicking him to the table and dashing off.

Angie tries to follow her but the vision ends and Chirag and Amir find Angie worn out from being beaten up and running for her life and Amir commands that Angie gives him the Totem as he thinks he's the only one who can be trusted with it. Chirag protests and it seems like a fight may brew between them but they hear Fregley's screech as he's hunting them down.

They retreat to the neighborhood park close to Gregs house and find Greg and Rowley and Holly there. They bring them up to speed and Greg finds all this supernatural stuff to be BS, even by the standard of somehow disintegrating Fregley. But Holly seems to understand just fine. She offers to take the last totem and get as far away as possible as everyone finds a way to stop Fregley and take back the other 6 Totems.

They agree to the plan and Holly is off while everyone tries to figure out what to do but Chirag inappropriately decides to take a bathroom break at this time. They set a trap where Fregley will fall in a hole and they jump him. They begin digging but the plan doesn't go anywhere and they hear a roar and try to think of something but Fregley comes into view and charges and they scream and run but the dent they made in the ground from trying to dig a hole trips Fregley over and they pull out their baseball bats and attack him but Fregley quickly overpowers them ready to kill them.

Holly while trying to get away finds Patty lying down by the graveyard and she offers to call 9-1-1 but Patty refuses and Holly wishes her farewell but Patty points and says "Look! A floating totem!" And sure enough the totem Holly had is floating away and Holly realizes it's Chirag and tells him to stop whatever he's planing. She runs after him but is stopped by the spirit and is flashed by light.

She sees a shrine with trees on fire all around in the forest with dead creatures and animals. She looks to the top of the shrine and sees a being roaring in sadness, rage, and hatred. A beaten ginger haired person struggles to stand up but persist as she makes her way up the steps and begins what seems what a ceremony sealing both her and the creature inside a slice of cheese and the vision ends.

Chirag thinks over his plan to use the totem to neutralize Fregley for a brief moment and turn invisible to snatch the 6 totems on Fregley's body, even if it goes against his friends wishes. He sees Fregley ready to kill everyone else and holds the totem shock pulsing Fregley for a moment and he starts to pull the totems off but Fregley sniffs him out and kicks him away making Chirag drop the 3 totems he carried and Fregley consumes them and is now in possession of all 7 totems and Amir starts panicking and crying that when an individual obtains all 7 totems, they achieve their Guptastic form, but for a creature such as Fregley, he'll become an eldritch monster that can destroy the world.

Chirag panics and immediately regrets subverting the plan but there is suddenly a flash of light about to consume everyone but Amir explains "With all this Gupta energy swirling around, I can use my ability to teleport us out of here!"

(Amir has an ability like Chirag, but it's to teleport, and he needs Gupta energy to do it.)

He warps them all out of there before the huge blast goes off.

The blast brings back the snowstorm in full force and a massive eldritch horror is in the center of Plain view, infecting the entire town with mold and rot like the cheese. Suddenly, the spirit appears in front of Chirag but instead of showing a vision, they form an image of themselves as a ginger haired person.

She introduces herself as Boudicca, the spirit that's been showing these visions to everyone so they could understand the reality of the backstory of many years ago when Fregley lost everything he loved when he was the guardian of the Shrine that held the power of chaos. She informs Chirag that the cheese is the object that she sealed them in for many years until someone made physical contact with it, releasing her spirit and a physical human form for Fregley. She looks at Fregley with sadness in her eyes and says if Fregley's grasp reaches the cheese at Westmore, Fregley will become the most powerful being in the universe and destroy the world quickly.

She asks Chirag if he can stop Fregley and Chirag asks why him, and Boudicca says he is the most capable for harnessing Chaos energy and has the most connection to Fregley and if he uses the Chaos Totems, he can destroy Fregley. Chirag wonders how that's possible, considering the totems energy were drained but Boudicca says only the negative energy was used and if Chirag uses the positive energy of the Totems, fighting for the ones he cares about, he can win.

Unfortunately, the totems scattered when Fregley used them to transform, but not too far. They decide they will split up and track them all down before Fregley finds the cheese or completely destroys Plain view. They set off and they each find one meeting up at Westmore Middle School and Vice principal Roy comes out begging for salvation and promises Gregory if he helps in any way he'll take back trying to expel him.

But they only have 5 totems and realize Patty and Holly weren't too far away from central area when Fregley transformed. "Is Holly/Patty okay?!" Greg and Angie exclaim but the group sees them walking towards them with the last two totems and before handing them over slap Chirag and Chirag says "I deserve that." With all 7 totems, Chirag embraces his inner Gupta Energy and screams "GOOOOOOOOD GOOOOOOOOOD MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Greg's family finally makes it home and Manny sees the eldritch monster in the distance and screams and cries like the little crap he is and Frank says "Shut the * up Manny!"

Just as Fregley's tentacles make it to Westmore and reach for the cheese, a flash of light dashes over and boosts through them, obliterating the tentacles. Guptastic Chirag comes into full view with his golden aura and flys off toward Fregley, but now understanding the pain and sorrow in Fregley's heart, but knows it's time for the final battle.

Cue the song Open your heart Fregley*

Upon defeating Fregley, the extreme blizzard goes back to normal snow and the eldritch darkness disappears, but still the damage from Fregley remained. Chirag exhausted all his energy and goes back to normal with the 7 chaos totems scattering all across the world.

He walks by and sees Fregley, but not as a monster or when he was human, but as the beautiful creature he once was thousands of years ago. He joins Boudicca's spirit as Fregley sees the happiness that still remains in the world with the beautiful nature and is finally at peace and the twos spirits are seen ascending towards the sky into Heaven.

"Alls well that ends well, right?" Rowley inappropriately says as the trashed up town of Plain view is clearly seen.

Amir leaves on his helicopter shortly after, promising his truce with Chirag is over and they will meet again, but as foes.

At the end of the 8th grade school year, everyone graduates, including Greg, for aiding during a time of crisis. Patty claims she still hates everyone, but could be seen smiling as she walked off. "She'll come around, I know she will" says Angie. The school even held a service for Fregley, remembering him as a member of the community. Chirag ponders deep in thought, he knows by heart that the people in his vision were Guptas but can't understand the full extent of the story. He then decides that he shouldn't dedicate his life worrying about it.

And so begins a new chapter for the Wimp family and nothing will ever be the same again.

Cue the credits playing a band version of "Cabin Fever"*
