Chapter 4:Thats Some Big Grimm
Meanwhile looking over at the tablet was pyrrha who looked nervous. By her side was zane along with glynda their. As she was watching the last feed in relief right now
"Oh thank god….eros didn't get hurt…noras daughter needs to learn to hold back."pyrrha said in relief
"Ohhh you mean how she decided to punch a snake. Seems like she takes after her daughter by alot."zane joked as pyrrha blushed
"Give her a break besides…i'm finding it surprising that ruby was late. She sad she wanted to be here"pyrrha replied but someone familiar called to them
"I'm here! Sorry i was late! "A female voice called out as they turned back seeing a swarm of red rose petals landing on the ground as appearing was ruby rose herself looking to be in her early thirties now.
While she wore attire that consisted of a black combat skirt with red lining the interior. Along with having frills on the end as she wore a black blouse with frills on the wrist. But she had a chest window on it which showed some clevage. Along with wearing a bright red corset that had black laces with black charater shoes on. She also had grown her hair out as it reached her back in the middle now. With her sporting a silver diamond wedding ring on
Glynda hummed"your fine miss rose. Besides you made it on time your daughter got partner up with someone"she said exciting ruby
"Don't tell me did she get kris! That would be amazing if me and weiss kids got partner up"ruby said excited as pyrrha sighed
"No her and isa got partner up. But the two seemed excited"pyrrha said to her disappointment but she bounced back smiling
"Really? Who did everyone get paired up with?"ruby asked
"Let me see…ah eros and thrud are together, yuki and kris. While delilah, fay, simone and cleo got all together. But goodness….the irony guess who got paired together"pyrha asked as ruby paused for a moment before giggling
"Don't tell me lance and nyx got together"ruby asked with a small laugh as zane smirked
"The dynamic duo is together…kenji got paired up with some random cheetah faunus. Let see whats going on now"zane said switching to his daughter and vomit boy junior
Riht now with lance and nyx they where fighting off a couple grimm right now
"Welp looks like we got cornered any ides partner?"nyx aksed with her swords out as lance held his up thinking of one
"We do that move we used on my dad while training that one time?"lance asked as she smiled
"Lets go then!"she cheered before quickly changing her long katana she dubbed agony while her shorter one is called reaver. While her bow she called it spectre. While lances was called excalibur.
Immediately the grimm came at the two but pressing a button on agony hilt. The sword started to collapse into itself. As it did a barrel poped up as from the hilt it folded a little to make a pistol grip with a lever action feature appearing. As out popped a lever action shotgun.
Smiling nyx and lance face hooked each others arm around each other as lance dug his sword into the ground. Then firing off her shotgun they spun around in a circle as lance swung his sword chopping off a grimm head with much ease. Then nyx aimed her shotgun firing back a grimm making it become imapled onto a tree as it died
A sobek roared for the fallen brethren crawling forward as the two friends unhooked their arms from one another
Immediately lance spun forward charging into the grimm launching it up. It flaield around for a moment before he ran forward lifting his sword up driving it trough its lower jaw. It flinched in pain before slowly turning into a cloud of black dust
While nyx spun around for a bit but steadyed herself shaking the dizziness off just in time. With a stalker tongue shooting at her. Though narrowly dodging it nyx lifted her sword up slicing the tongue clean off its mouth as it cired in pain. Which made her take the chance to fight right now
Watching this was her father as he itnently watched her dash forward with the grimm recovering to seek revenge. The stalker leaped at her but she easily dodged it bringing up reaver burying it into its head blasting its head clean off killing it. Then she rushed back into the fray to kill some more grimm
As lance was doding a beowulf pounce as he went into a roll. But it ended up with an gulper jumping on his back worrying pyrrha who got ready to go and help but glynda put a hand up stopping her.
"Calm yourself mrs. nikos and watch"glynda insutrcted as she did
Lance was struggling as the grimm tried to sink its teeth into his neck. But reaching back he pulled it off raising his foot curmstomping its head in. before drawing his sword out in time to slash down the last grimm across the chest. It stumbled for a moment before falling back onto the ground dead
The two panted for a moment as nyx whipped the sweat from her brow. With lance heaving before puking again to her dust.
Back with them both zane and ruby were laughing right now as pyrrha looked flustered
"Oh my god hes just like jaune! Vomit boy junior!"ruby cheered into laughter
"Welp i know who i'm picking on in my classes"zane cooed as glynda cleared her throat as they straighten up
"Your lucky were such good friends that i let your childish antics resurface at times"glynda said coldly to remind them as it did. With them watching the rest of the students right now.
Meanwhile lynn and viola where making their way through the woods to the temple. But their was an awkward silence between them as lynn growled
"What is it? Do i have something on my face?"lynn asked starling her a little
"No…no just well we should get to know each other more"viola said as he hummed nodding
"You are right about that. What would you like to know?"lynn asked
"Where are you from?"viola questioned
"I'm from atlas. And for your information i tolerate faunus…unlike half the dam kingdom who still hate them. Animals"lynn codlly said as he supported faunus
"Ohhh thats nice….my sisters and brothers up their usually hear that from the upper class"viola said
"Ah your from atlas?"lynn asked as she shook her head
"I'm from vacou well…vale i was born their but i live in vacou. But…-"she was stopped as a loud thumping sound could be heard startling the two as they drew out their repseictve weapons
"What was that?"lynn asked startled now
"I don't know but…i think its coming from their"viola said pointing at some bushes
As the bushes where moving like crazy right now as they wondered what was their. As they got both their weapons out with viola having a pump action shotgun out.
But the rustling got louder as running out of it was a screaming isa. With rosa and kris right behind her
"Ummmm isa…rosa…kris what are you–"as viola asked bore turning around on what they were running from
"Talk later! Run for your lives!"isa shouted as they got out of view right now.
"What was that about?"lynn asked as running out screaming at the top of her lungs was yuki
"Big grimm! Big grimm!"yuki cired out
As from the forest emerging was a cyclops that knocked down the nearby trees and stone in its path. It raised its club before bringing it down onto the ground trying to smash her. But yuki dodged it using her semblance
Channeling it her throat glowed a little in an icy color before she fired a stream of ice from her mouth. As she fired it infront of her with her channeling the ice into her feet making ice skates as she skated forward as she had an ice themed semblance allowing her to coat her body in ice she dubbed subzero
The two others shared a look right now then back at the creature before them that roared at the two. Before both got scared screaming for their lives as they ran away. But as they did lagging behind was isa who tripped onto the ground groaning
"Dumb sandals!"isa shouted as lynn looked back trying to go ahead but groaned
Running back he hoisted the small girl up onto his shoulders running ahead of all of them right now.
"Hey! I can run just…."isa protested but saw the grimm giving chase starting to run as its footsteps echoed through the forest
"Nevermind! Thank you!"she said as they all caught up with each other
"How the hell did you all do this?!"viola questioned in shock right now
"Well we were walking around. Then we hear crashing a giant club comes infront of us and now that thing is chasing us!"yuki answered
"Less talk more running! I have little legs!"rosa yelled as they kept running from the grimm
Meanwhile with kenji and vicktor they both managed to get to the temple after handling some grimm. As they stepped out it revealed the good old stone temple broken and decrepit still after all this time here with several black and gold obejcts. But waitng for them was delilah, cleo, fay and simone
"Oh great you guys beat us here"kenji said
As fay snickered"hey we got here first actually lookie at what we got?"she said as she held a bishop piece colored golden while cleo held up a black bishop piece
"We got these along with nubia. "Simone mentioned
"Really? Did the others come through here yet?"kenji aksed
Delilah shook her head"no. But we were waiting for one of you to show up….new friend?"deliah asked as vicktor waved to her
"Sup i'm vicktor i got paired up with him. Where the dynamic feline duo"vicktor cheered to their annoyance as it seemed two pun making idiots got paired up
"We are now leaving….were gonna go say his to nubia her partner was with her. But snatched their chess piece…they better not be dicks"cleo replied
The four sister left them as kenji eyed their loot seeing a the rook, pawns and knight pieces where left as like his mother he picked up the golden knight piece
"Awww a cute little pony can i keep him please?"kenji asked but looking in the sky was something right now making him wonder what that was right now.
Back with viola, lynn, yuki, kris, rosa and isa. As right now they kept running from the cyclops as right now being carried by kris was rosa who ran out of breath. As they where still running for their lives
"God why did we get stuck with this!"lynn shouted
"This is dumb! I hate this! Out of all the grimm we get a cyclops!"viola shouted in worry as kris was panting a little
"Just keep running for your lives so we can live!"kris shotued as they all agreed on that right now
"Agreed!"the five said in unison running for their lives with the grimm on full pursuit
Back with lance and nyx the two where bored right now wandering through the woods wondering where the others where. As they did they had small conversation
"Okay so by my guess we might have a chance to get on a team with kenji and whoever else he paired up with"nyx said
"I rather not deal with two punmakers thank you"lance replied as she scoffed
"Come on i'm not that bad….my dads the worst he does terrible dad puns now"nyx said as he laughed at that. But watching it was zane who frowned before groaning as he thought they where good.
"Yeah but still surprised you haven't unlocked your semblance yet. Even though you got your aura"nyx said as lance looked down as he had an aura but no semblance. It made him stare at his hands for a moment flexing them tight
"Yeah well beggars can't be choosers…maybe if i'm lucky i could get something like my dads. Maybes its inherited like yours"lance said as she tapped him on the shoulder
"Maybe you will but lets keep moving…you've inhrieted the nickname vomit boy junior! VBJ for short!"nyx cheered as her tail wagged with him groaning right now following her
The two soon ended up at the temple seeing kenji and vicktor their as nyx fist pumped the air
"Nice! You made it ken"nyx said running over with lance
"Eh i got my fellow punmaker with me awesome"kenji said
"Oh your that arc guy wanna be on our team"vicktor asked
"Maybe but…hey wheres everyone else?"lance aksed but soon enough the sound of crashing could be heard. As charging out of a forest right now ontop of a goliath was thrud screaming with a war cry as eros was using his semblance to speed over
As he did he skied to a stop but it resulted in him tripping. Immediately he began to fumble onto the ground tumbling all over the place right now. Before he came crashing as the four winced as he hit his face right against the temple wall groaning
With the goliath falling down as thrud was thrown off in a wild manner falling straihgt into a roll sitting on the ground cheering
"Again! I gotta do that again!"thrud cheered
Eros groaned picking himself up"thrud….never…do…that….again!"he shouted as he walked over grabbing the rook piece panting for air right now.
"Great she might ride a stupid king tajtu next or something"nyx joked as her tail swayed around
"Nah i punched one in the face pretty hard….i named it hissy"thrud replied
Before long screaming could be heard as running out of the woods was rosa, isa, lynn, yuki, kris and viola.
"Oh hey look the gangs coming"kenji said
"Why are they running right now?"eros questined
"Ummm why is isa and rosa on those two shoulders?"lance asked pointing at lynn and kris.
As they came running over crashing through the woods was the cyclops that roared smashing its club down. The resulting smash shook the ground as it made lynn stumble as he went flying into the air with isa
The panther faunus screamed in utter terror falling right back down. As she came crashing back down as lynn tripped falling onto his face. With isa landing on his back as he groaned into a growl right now
"You are a pain in the ass….owwwwww"lynn groaned as isa picked herself up tumbling around falling onto her back feeling dizzy seeing double of everyone right now
"Owwww i think i hurt my butt"isa whined as yuki panted falling onto her knees with her butt in the air gasping for air
"That dumb….muscle….brute of grimm…dear god…were safe!"yuki shouted in joy
"No where not! You led the giant grimm toward us!"vicktor shouted in shock
With kenji eye twitching for a moment as he growled extending his claws erupting into a small burst of anger as fur covered his neck and arms. "I can't take this anymore! Can we all take a moment to relax!"he shouted
As they all paused for a moment but the cyclops lifted it club up to smash them. But immediately lynn snapped his fingers. As suddenly the grimm started to have its knees buckle as his semblance was gravity base. With the grimm kneeling on the ground with the ground starting to crack underneath it
"I think i can hold it their for now but we need to move"lynn said
"Okay i think we should run before something else comes"nyx stupidly said as something did come as above was a large gargolye that screeched flappin its wings as they all glared at her as her ears flopped over
"Nice going….should we just grab the relics and get back to the school?"lance asked as they all agreed
Quickly regrouping rosa rushed over grabbing the pawn piece with nyx running over grabbing the pawn piece as well. While viola rushed over grabbing the knight piece as yuki grabbed the rook piece staring at eros smiling
"Hey you got the rook piece…i think that means where on a team"yuki said as he stared at her
"Someone switch with me now"eros demanded
But immediately the gargolye fired a swarm of quills at them right now. As they all immediately dodged the barrage of quills right now. Though not all of them as one pinned rosa cloak down to her shock right now.
"ROSA!"kenji shouted out as from the other side ruby winced with fear in her eyes panicking a little as glynda placed a hand on her to calm down.
As the feed showed rosa struggling with the gargolye queen seeing her prey trapped making its way to her to snatch her up right now
But suddenly a pink blur shot past all of them as running over was isa. Who dashed over qucikly tearing rosa from her cloak as she tore a small hole onto the cloak. But just in time the two got out of the way with her zooming back to the others panting right now.
"Oh thank god you got her!"thrud cheered
"Yeah…ughhh that was terrifying i think i peed my kimnio"isa shivered
"Welp lets get out of here once we make it to the bridge where home free. Then we can rest up for the night."vicktor said
"I think where kinda late on that…giant grimm with a giant club"kenji pointed out the cyclops
"Oh great where gonna die….and our parents are gonna watch…this sucks"lance complained
But eyeing her weapons nyx gripped them tight" i think we gotta kill these two right now"she said
"Are you insane?! That grimm is tough for two huntsman team to take it down"lynn said in shock as rosa undid her scythe presenting it
"But it has a glaring weakness its neck. Theirs twelve of us and have two groups of six. We can take them out if we work together right now"Rosa said as they all shared looks with kenji readying his weapons
"You know my mom said they fought a deathstakler and nevermore during theirs…lets one up them!"kenji cheered
"Heck yeah!"thrud cheered with her mace and machete out
"Okay them heres the plan. Me and lance will go with rosa and her partner. The same with you guys and your partners. Sis and uhh whoever your partner is go with kris and his group to fight the gargolye. We got the cyclops"nyx explained
"Sounds like a good idea to me"kris replied readying his sword
"Then lets get a move on people go go go!"yuki cheered as they split up to face the two giant grimm for their initiation right now.
It seems the teens will need to fight some grimm like their parents did. Most of the chapters for some of the volumes will be having some of the similiar structure but they will change at one point. Thanks for reading!
