Chapter 5:We Passed
They all started to run out of the first into the abdnaoend structures of long ago like their parents. But both split up to deal with these large grimm right now with eros, yuki, kris, thrud, viola and lynn dealing with the gargolye
On top of a high colum the grimm watching them sat on a colum. Switching to her mace thrud fired upward as a grenade blast went off. With viola transforming into her aerial form following after her. As the others fired into the grimm themselves
Eros kept firing off a few arrows qucikly loading in another firing it at the gargoyle. While yuki changed her guitar into a dmr resembling a m14 EBR with the guitar strings on the side as the guitar head made up its stock. While she aimed forward firing several dust sots into this.
Using momentum thrud launched herself in viola arms who swiftly dropped her off on the other side. But as she came back for the others as their was a large gap inbetween them. The gargolye queen swooped down roaring at them
"Duck!"lynn called out as they all dove for cover with it firing several quills trying to hit them. Eros tackled kris out of the way who nodded thanking him. While yuki dived for cover narrowly getting hit in the head by a sharp quill.
Seeing this right now immediately the gargolgye turned around to eye viola who was flapping in the air. The grimm screeched extending its claw to snatch her up as she froze for a moment. But running off the side with a war cry was thrud who jumped onto its back.
The wild girl began to smash her mace several times into its head to bust open its skull
"Eat! This! You! Dumb! Chicken!"she shotued mepazhing each swing as the grimm felt her attack eyeing a nearby mountain
Then the grimm wavered heading into the mountain to shake her off. Seeing this thrud hoped off before she hit the mountain landing on the ground
"Nice hit"yuki said
"Ok now its still kicking what are we going to do? Can we throw something at it?"lynn questioned
That when kris had an idea recalling something his mother told him
"I got an idea it will be tricky and it might work"kris said
"Whats your plan?"eros asked
"Lynn could you use your semblance to hold it down"kris said
"I can but it won't be for long. I could slow it down long enough"lynn replied then he pointed at viola who molted her armor off
"Have any weapons on your gloves that can shoot lines or rope?"he asked as she nodded
"I do let me guess i'm the back up for him"viola replied
"Yes but yuki use your ice to imbolize its wings, eros use your bow with a rope bolt i know you have to pin it down"kris nodded
"You got it"eros replied
"And me?"thrud asked as kris slightly smiled
"You just need to hit it very hard when i give the signal"kris replied exciting her.
"Alright! I can do that!"she cheered
Immediatelyy lynn and viola ran in with eros and yuki to subdue the large grimm. As it was getting close lynn snapped his fingers launching it onto the ground with the extreme gravity right now as it screeched
With viola digitizing a pair of guanlents firing off two digital ropes from them as they reached the other side. As eros did the same with yukia immediately using her semblance to freeze them in place as lynn growled
"Anytime now!"lynn shouted to the two
As both kris and thrud got above the grimm with him nodding summoning a gravity glyph above the spot where its head was. Smiling thrud leaped off as the grimm was close to breaking free right now. But immediately kris fired off his glyph propelling her forward onto the ground
Using the momentum with her thrud gave a might war cry as she went straight through the creature head. A loud crack could be heard as it fell to the ground evapdorating to dust
As they all regrouped with eros retrieving his arrows as thrud cheered standing on her two feet
"That was awesome!"thrud cheered
"Nice job…guess the ice king can have a good plan"yuki joked
"Ice king?"lynn aksed
"Don't worry about it…how are the others doing?"kris questioned as the others shrugged their shoulders
Meanwhile as this was happening rosa and the others where focusing on the cyclops as they managed to take out its ankle making it kneel but it roared swinging their club at them
"Okay what are we going to do about this?"vicktor questioned scared
"Well we disable it before we become giant pancakes!"isa shouted
"Well heres one we disable that giant club any ideas?"lance asked as rosa eyed vicktor for a moment
"Whats your semblance?"Rosa asked
"I can turn things to stone if i touch em why?"vicktor replied as she stared at him for a moment as the light bulb went off in his head right now.
Vicktor then smiled"i got an idea!"he said with rosa smiling
"Lance boost me!"rosa ordered as he quickly undid something from his gauntlet that being a shield that was circular in shape. As he held it back rosa leaped onto it as he threw her into the air with her using her sniper and semblance to get air time.
As she did it got the grimm attention as it roared slowly picking its weapon up. But running out of his cover was vicktor. He sprinted over toward the weapon right now before nyx noticed this turning into her lycan form. Then dashed off scooping up the cheetah faunus to his surprise
"Work the magic touch cheetah boy!"she shouted as he smiled
"Thanks for the lift cutie!"vicktor said as she frowned at him
"I aint into boys….my sister on the other hand…eh later go!"nyx shouted reeling him back before launching him forward right now. As it sent him flying straight into the cyclps club. Once he touched it the club he activated his smeblnace
A bright purple glow came from his hands as the club immediately began to turn to stone. Looking at its tool turning to stone it soon did as the cyclops held it before it shattered into several little pieces making it narrows its one eye at the cheetah who smiled running away
The grimm roared riaisng its fist to squish him. But immediately throwing several kunai wih bomb tags was isa. As they buried into its thick skin a chain reaction went off stunning it as rosa gave up high in the sky coming down toward the cyclops.
Smiling she fired off a shot sneing her flying striahgt for the grimms neck. But as she came crashing down the grimm moved knocking her off course. She slammed into it as she grunted falling off course as noticing this was nyx who narrowed her gaze
"I'm going in!"nyx shouted before moving the organic skin pulling out a yellow dust dust.
Moving the fur on her neck slightly revealed the neck slot as she jammed it into it. Then her entire body light up in electricity with the white lines erupting in electricity. Her tail crackled in eletrciity with her planting her feet on the ground
Before bolting off using the dust that gave her enhanced speed. Then she started to run with all her might as she used her momentum to sped up the grimm leg. With rosa falling down toward her the wolf fauns caught her quickly before reeling her back pivoting her hips
"Second chance!"nyx cheered throwing her cousin forward to give her some momentum as she came crashing safely onto the ground
Rosa narrowed her gaze before pviioting her hips as the grimm neck was in sight. Giving a mighty roar rosa twirled herself around before driving her scythe straight through the cyclops neck as it roared in pain falling to its knee beneath it kneeling as it turned into a large dust cloud of black smoke
Rosa landed next to the group with the hugest smile on her face
"That was…amazing!"she cheered
Nyx wobbled a little motling her armor off"okay that was intense…lets all go take a break for the night please"she said
"I can agree on that. Because man that was intense lets go back"lance siad as their group made their way back to the cliffs right now.
Once they returned to beacon the teams where announced as walking past with her team was nubia who got called team ORGN.
"I'll wait over here for you guys"nubia said as the others where soon up as glynda cleared her throat
"Will kris schnee, yuki hayley crosby, thrud ren, eros hayley black please step forward. You all have collected the rook pieces. From here on you'll be known as team KYTE(KYTE) led by….kris schnee"glynda announced
This shocked kris right now hearing he was the leader of the team right now staring at her
"M-me?"he asked as she smiled at him
"Congrlations young man. "Gylnda complimented
Thrud cheered wrapping her arms around eros and yuki"were a team lets go!"She cheered dragging them away as kris needed to call his parents and tell them about the good news.
The newly formed team left the stage as delilah, cleo, simone and fay stepped onto the stage
"Welp where up"fay said in confidence
"Dleiah, cleo, simone and fay graves you all retrieve the bishop pieces. From here on you will be known as…"glynda paused on the words right now as she stared at them trying to come up with a team name but none came to mind as some noticed the pause
Close by was pyrha who stepped over"glynda is everything alright?"pyrrha aksed as the women sighed
"Unforutnaly i cannot come up with a team name for them. All their last names are the same and their…first names do not match for anything clever"glynda replied to the fours worry
"Wait does that mean where kicked out of the academy?"simone asked scared but they won't do that
"No we will need to give you a name let me see…ah i'll have your father help with this. Hes an expert on this"glynda said as the four flinched as zane stepped forward cupping his chin for a bit humming right now before something came to mind as he snapped his fingers
"Well heres one team ghost, also known as team GHST"he suggested as the four girl stared at each other finding that better
"Better than the nicknames you gave us as kids whos leading us?"fay asked eagerly hoping it was hers
"Your leader will be delilah graves. Congratulations on having a sibling team up"Glynda said as they exited off the stage right now.
They left the stage as stepping forward was viola and her group
"Vicktor ocean, viola graves, lynn hargreeave and kenji xiaolong belladonna. You all retrieved the knight pieces. From here on you'll be known as team voltage(VOLK) led by….viola graves"gynda announced making the poor bunny faunus ears floop over in shock
"What?"viola asked as lynn sighed as he wanted to be their team leader.
Immediately kenji cheered hugging viola with a smile on his face
"My cousins a leader lets go!"kenji cheered as his tail swayed around right now.
Lynn had an annoyed look trying to hide it"alright lets get off the stage for the next team please"he said as they did making their way off the stage
"Where up"lance said excited as they all got on stage
"Isa torchwch belladonna, rosa rose walker, nyx graves, lancer arc. You have acquired the two pawn pieces. From here on you'll be known as team Regalia(RGIL) led by…rosa rose walker"glynda announced as rosa flinched right now in utter shock right now hearing that
As isa cheered hugging her partner as she smiled with lancer surprised as nyx frowned a little right now
"Dang thought i'd be leader…great i'm following my baby cousin"nyx thought
"You will all be escorted to your rooms in which your luggage will be waiting for you. In short welcome to beacon academy."glynda said as they where dismayed to their dorms
As team RGIL, KYTE, VOLK and team GHST got to their dorms right now. Busy hugging her daughter with a smile on her face was ruby squealing in joy jumping right now
"You got to become a leader! Ohhh i'm so excited for tomorrow you'll all love it here!"ruby cheered as rosa gasped for air
"Uhhh auntie let cousin go she can't breath"nubia said as ruby bluhsed letting her daughter go who gasped for air with a very nervous look on her face
"But..but…but i didn't want to be the leader..i…i don't know if i can do it"rosa said with worry in tone as isa hugged her partner
"You can do it. Auntie here did it at her age"isa said as it made rosa feel a little better as viola tapped her fingers nerovusly
"So i'm a team leader…god this isn't nerve racking in the slightest right now"Viola said as vicktor went pffttt
"Come on chin up. Besides you can totally do it you just gotta have the heart for it"vicktor said making the poor rabbit blush bright red in the face right now.
As delilah sighed"Well seems i'm in your boat too sis. For a second if you gave fay the status of leader we'd be doomed"she said as fay puffed her cheeks up annoyed now.
"Yeah well nubia here got unlucky and matched with some randos"yuki said as the jackal faunus looked down upset but her father rubbed her head
"Chin up sweetie. It'll be fine your just down the hall from your siblings….besides we did have a few teams here missing a member. Didn't take into account some quitting right after the ceremony"zane stated
"This line of work is hard but it won't be for all of you. Ohhh i'm so excited for class now tomorrow."pyrrha said in joy as her son hoped she won't embarrassed him
Lynn huffed"i find it strange how all of you call each other…cousin right now. None of you look related"lynn coldly said as vicktor stared at all of them a little excited to meet three of the heroes of remnant
"Yeah i mean….this girl said it before…are they all seriously sisters?"vicktor asked very puzzled as the seven sisters shared looks with each other
"Yeah came out of that guy over their"Fay bluntly said pointing at her father who frowned as she got her mothers pervy tendencies.
Cleo reached over bonking fay on the head as she yelped rubbing the spot she hit
"I forgot that sis has moms pervy tendencies"cleo said with disgust as lynn scoffed
"So what is this one here married to several women who divorced him or something?"lynn questioned as ruby and pyrrha stared at zane who groaned heavily
"I am not divorced. Second i am married to one hundre beautiful women and i love each of my kids equally. Granted i need to go see if your siblings attending the other academis got teams of their own or together in a bit"zane said with a skip in his step walking away as pyrrha embraced her son who blushed bright red
"Mom come on"lance said as she released him
"Sorry but i'm so happy for you all see you tomorrow"pyrrha said as ruby left with them as they all got in their teams rooms
Once inside it looked like a single space with four beds and a small dressers for clothing. With lance walking over collpasing onto bed.
"God i wanna go to sleep"he said
"This looks a little small"rosa commented
"I'm fine with it…but what are we gonna do about him?"isa asked pointing at lance as nyx hummed
"Make him sleep in the hallway. No boys allowed this is the girls dorm"nyx joked with a cope as he glared at her
"Come on its not my faults its a co-ed dorm"lance added
"Well then what can we do. I mean its not like hes a pervert or something….or is he"isa said scaring rosa now as she covered herself
"Don't tell me you plan on that please….we've known each other for so long"rosa said in fear as he thought she knew him better than that.
"I thought you knew me better. I can just hang in the hallway while you change and stuff heck block the dumb peephole. Also…i view you three like family more than anything i would puke if i kissed one of you…not saying your ugly"lance epxlained
"So your going to puke for a third time today"isa joked with a grin as he groaned. After thirty more minutes of typical discussion on what tomorrow will be right now. But soon enough they slipped into bed for the night as nyx sighed excited for a brand new day at her dream academy right now.
Later on right now after a long night returning to his place for the night was zane. As he was just getting off his scroll as he stepped into an apartment complex right now. That being a lavish room as he sighed flipping the lights on
"I know…i know sweetie your excited. I am too look dad gotta call it a night okay bye love you"zane said hanging up sighing as he removed his jacket but his scroll buzzed again as he sighed picking it up seeing a picture of a engagement ring on it with the initials VS on it
Answering it he placed it on his ear"vel whats up you miss our daughters already and me"he joked as on the other side velvet sighed
"I do. But look please be careful up their with them….make sure to not be too over protective like you are"Velvet warned as he sighed shaking his head
"Me overprotective? No…well depending on the situation but hey tomorrow i gotta teach the youths. Give the others my regards if you ever wanna visit where only a three hour fly or six hour drive…love you"zane said into his scroll
"Love you too"velvet said hanging up as he sighed pouring himself a glass of water. Walking over to the window he stared at beacon academy smiling happy right now with how things are going.
It seems that the younger generation on their own teams for their semester in beacon. Though someone may be an oveprotective parent it seems in the future. Though how will their first day go? thanks for reading!
