CHAPTER 1: PETER PARKER

'Alright, let's do this. My name is Peter Parker. I was bitten by a radioactive spider, And for weeks now, I've been the one and only Spider-Man. I saved a bunch of people, got a crush on a girl, took down a bunch of criminals, and then i took 'em down again, and again and again, and again. And I did, uh... I eat Pizza upside down. Please don't try that at home. But despite everything, I love being Spider-Man. I mean, who wouldn't? So no matter how many hits I take, I always find a way to come back. Because the only thing standing between this city and oblivion is me. My name is Peter Parker... and this is the story of how I became Vale's world's greatest Hero.'

The gentle rays of sunlight resembling delicate laser beams gracefully infiltrated the crevices in his blinds. Bestowing their luminosity upon a young blond teen reclining upon his bed. With one hand still clasping the pillow, Peter Parker was enjoying the comfort of his bed until his alarm clock roused him from slumber. He groaned as he sat upright, rubbing sleep from his eyes with one hand, before reaching for his alarm clock on the nightstand.

It blared an annoying beep at him which he silenced by flipping over and pressing the end button with two fingers. Lifting his bed sheets off and rubbing the morning crust out of his eyes, he walked into his bathroom to start his morning rituals to begin the day. Turning the bathroom lights on he lifted both his eyes to look himself over in the mirror to see his messy hair, his white t-shirt, and black shorts still clean with no stains whatsoever, making part of his morning routine complete. Peter took off his pajamas, laid them on the bathroom sink, and opened his eyes to look back at the mirror.

Back then Peter's physique left much to be desired. He possessed a scrawny frame, lacking any discernible muscle mass, which gave the impression that he had never engaged in weightlifting activities. Regrettably, he was frequently subjected to bullying and mockery by his classmates due to his nerdy disposition, although this was not an unfamiliar experience for him. Despite his lack of physical strength at the time, he remained resolute in his effort to stand up against bullies like Flash Thompson.

However, everything changed for Peter after the fateful encounter with the radioactive spider. His previously frail and feeble body underwent a remarkable transformation. Peter's physique became well-defined, adorned with lean muscles that exhibited no traces of excess fat, rendering him akin to a seasoned athlete. Achieving such a physique typically requires months, if not years, of dedicated training, disciplined dietary habits, and favorable genetic predisposition.

It only took Peter one night after he was bitten to look like he went through all that.

His height, blonde hair, and blue eyes were the sole attributes of his appearance that could be considered favorable. Nevertheless, with his newfound physical allure, he would assuredly capture the attention of women from time to time. However, a predicament presented itself: his lack of self-assurance and dearth of experience in conversing with the opposite sex.

Peter, acknowledging the reality of his daily quandary, emitted a sigh. He proceeded to cleanse his teeth, bathe, and then returned to his chamber to attire himself. After putting his new-day clothes on he heard footsteps tapping towards his door.

"Peter, are you awake? Your food's getting cold." Aunt May's voice held concern for why he was still in his room.

"I'm coming!" Peter shouted while subconsciously shoving his mask in his pocket.

Peter exited his room before closing the door behind him and began descending downstairs. Soon as Peter's shoes touched the ground his nose caught the scent of eggs and bacon, causing his to stomach growl loud enough for Aunt May to notice him enter the kitchen. She looked at him over her shoulder, and smiled.

"Ah, there you are, did you sleep well?" Aunt May asked while holding a frying pan full of scrambled eggs.

"Yup, slept like an angel," Peter replied, setting another dining set across the table for her to eat breakfast.

Aunt May poured some eggs onto her plate and the rest to Peter. He kissed her cheek before taking a seat across the kitchen table. She sat down next to him, said her prayers and started eating her morning breakfast with him.

Reaching for the remote, May turned on the TV for the both of them. A beautiful woman appeared on the screen. Her hair was tied down to a ponytail and her eyes were hazel with a bit of green to their beauty. She wore a nice purple suit with long sleeves, her skirt reaching down to her knees, and black heels. The anchorwoman clears her throat and begins her monologue.

"With the added news that the infamous Roman Torchwick has escaped, the number of dust shop thefts has increased exponentially over the months making many people of Vale worry about the future of this kingdom." The news anchorwoman reported on the recent string of robberies, showing pictures of shops ransacked with their dust stolen.

"However, all changed when several shop owners were saved by the masked vigilante known only by the name: Spider-man."

The images depicting the incidents of dust shop robberies were promptly replaced with ones that showcased Spider-Man, firmly grasping two incapacitated criminals in each hand. In another photograph, Spider-Man was seen skillfully ensnaring the aforementioned thugs with his webbing, securing them to the ground. As he swung away from the scene of the crime, Spider-Man kindly acknowledged the shop owners with a wave. Peter, upon observing the photograph, couldn't help but smile, fully aware that the efforts he was exerting were not in vain, given the noticeable decline in criminal activity.

"Crimes involving dust have decreased these past few weeks making people notice the crime fighter's good deeds. Going to the streets, we have our news reporter asking the people of Vale what they think of Spider-man." The anchorwoman was soon replaced by a young man in the middle of a busy part of Vale.

"Thanks, Tes. As you can see around me many people are getting ready for work, but some are also looking up in hopes of seeing the Spider-man in action." The cameraman shifted his sights to bystanders walking around to get to work while some were looking to the sky, seeing if they might catch a glimpse of the wall-crawler web swing from building to building.

"I've asked many people about what they think of Spider-man and his crusade on crime. Here are their answers."

The next scene shows different people, both human and Faunus, what views they have on Peter's actions of being Spider-man.

"Spider-Man? That guy's the best! Literally lifted my car to the shop when it broke down on 7th! And I'm using 'literally,' the right way, yeah? I tried to pay him! But he declined and said, and I quote: 'Your smile is enough.' I mean, what more can I say? He's the best!"

"You wanna know what I think? He's nothing but a menace to the whole kingdom. He's probably some Huntsman deciding to take the law into his own hands."

"I think what he's doing is a heroic act. The police can't stop this much crime, so it's nice knowing the fact we have someone else cleaning the streets and keeping us safe."

"He throws up his hands, ropes come out, and he climbs up the ropes like a spider web."

"I see the web and it's a signature, and I know Spider-Man was here."

"The guy protects us, you know protects the people."

"He's doing nothing but making the Faunus community suffer even more. We need him to stop hiding behind a mask and show the world not all Faunus need to wear one."

"If he keeps hiding behind that mask of his, he's no better than the White Fang and their twisted brand of justice."

After they gave their answers it was soon shifted back to the newsroom with the anchorwoman giving her thanks to the reporter and his journalism.

"As you can see, many people have mixed reviews about our friendly neighborhood Spider-man, but to the Vale news crew we only have one question." For dramatic effect, the camera zoomed in close for the woman to say her question.

"Who is Spider-man?"

Aunt May turned off the TV and went back to eating her breakfast.

"Goodness, that Spider-man sure is helping the kingdom." She said, turning her gaze towards Peter.

Peter nodded in agreement. "Yeah, he is."

Aunt May gazed at Peter with concern.

"I'd prefer if you ever see him stopping crimes or doing anything dangerous, promise me you will run away." Aunt May said, worryingly.

Peter winked at her while giving May a thumbs up. Followed by a confident smile.

"I promise I'll run away if I'm ever in trouble." Peter reassured her, taking a small glance at the picture of Uncle Ben, Aunt May, and his toddler self.

Aunt May smiled back whilst nodding her head. After the pair finished their breakfast, the elderly woman began cleaning the dishes. Peter slide his arm through the strap of his backpack and threw said pack over his shoulder.

"I'll see you later, Aunt May." Giving her a peck on the cheek, Peter started towards the front door.

He walked forward until he stood on the sidewalk. Peter briefly surveyed some passersby, observing a Faunus married couple engaged in lively conversation on the opposite side of the sidewalk, while other children their ages patiently awaited the arrival of the bus from a nearby bench. Peter turned to his right and caught sight of the bus just as it pulled up.

The bus doors opened and individuals began boarding. Filling the seats in an unending stream of bodies, he embarked last with poise. Peter moved slowly past other kids who had taken their seats until he sat alone at the back. The bus proceeded forward, rumbling towards its subsequent destination. Making several stops in various parts of the neighborhood, Peter encountered a few other children along the way.

Peter shifted his gaze at the bus window. With crime gradually decreasing, all he can do now is concern himself with his academic performance, dealing with bullies, and completing his homework. As Spider-man tirelessly thwarts muggers attempting to pilfer dust, it is only a matter of time before a significant threat emerges from its concealed location, aiming to bring an end to Spider-man's heroic endeavors. He can only ponder why these malefactors would covet such substantial quantities of dust, risking apprehension in the process.

An even more disconcerting notion is the identity of the mastermind orchestrating this legion of henchmen, compelling them to procure copious amounts of dust.

The bus arrived at their destination on time. The students disembarked one by one, with Peter being the last to alight. This school is called Midtown High, and this is where Peter will be getting his education for a better future. At least that's what he keeps telling himself whenever a situation like this happens.

As Peter walked among a sea both both low upperclassmen down the school's courtyard, he halted in his tracks. He turned to his right while glancing up, finding a tall castle-like tower looming over. That large tower was part of a larger campus called Beacon Academy, where many talented and strong youths enter to become professional Huntsmen.

Peter blinked blankly at the castle's silhouette. Sometimes when he goes to his normal school he looks up and sees the towering edifice, making him think of what it would be like being a student there. The thought of attending Beacon made him wonder how different things would be if he had decided to use his spider-powers as a bonus to becoming a Huntsman. Maybe he could've attended there. He already unlocked his semblance after all.

Peter tilted his head upward in deep thought. He deduced that if he didn't walked down the path of a vigilante, he definitely would've trained to become a huntsman like his great-grandfather was during the Great War. However, his semblance was akin to a double-edged sword; once it's used he can't use it again until it's recharged. Not to mention his body can't handle the backlash.

Peter rubbed his nape. His semblance is strong—too strong in fact. Peter understood the consequences it would bring when wielding it. He had seen it the first time he accidentally activated it when he was six years old. Just thinking about it causes a faint cold chill to run down his spine. But Peter has his spider powers and until he does have control of his semblance he'll stick with that for now.

Peter started towards the main entrance. Once he stepped inside, he saw the long halls from both sides were filled with an ocean of students, milling about and talking amongst themselves. He saw several faces that he recognized, but not all. Students greeted each other and exchanged small talk, chattering about what they wanted to do after class. A trio of girls passed by him walking forward while giggling amongst themselves.

Peter continued to scan the crowd for familiar faces. When he finally spotted one, a small smile formed on his lips.

Harry Osborn.

He was chatting away animatedly with a girl who had brunette hair tied into a ponytail. Peter approached the pair and tapped Harry's shoulder. The boy turned around and smiled when he saw Peter.

"Hey, Pete." He greeted him, placing his left hand into the pocket of his jeans while holding his right hand up for a high five.

"Hey, Harry." Peter returned while high-fiving Harry's hand. Harry turned his gaze towards the girl.

"Hey, I'll see you after class. Alright?"

The ponytail brunette girl nodded her head. Harry and Peter walked together down the corridor. Passing by students going in other directions.

"So, you're still taking pictures of Spider-Man?" Harry asked as they walked.

"Yeah, and the supply of lien I'm getting helps," Peter replied.

Harry chuckled. "He'll be old news in about a month or so, the real celebrity in Vale is Pyrrha Nikos."

"The invincible girl from Mistral?" Inquired Peter with a raised brow.

"Yup." Harry nodded. "If she ever volunteers for another tournament, I'm definitely gonna be there. You should come if she does, Pete. It'll be a heck of a show to watch."

Peter chuckled a little. "I'll think about it."

Peter looked around the hallway they were in and saw many people either looking at newspapers or on their scrolls, all showing the wall-crawler acrobatically swinging with another web strand.

Peter looked at a sign at the end of the corridor reading 'Room 3 – Classroom 1' and headed in the direction it indicated. He passed by three doors along the way. Peter gently pushed the door open and the pair entered. Inside was a classroom packed with students. Most of them were sitting at desks while they conversed or discussed whatever subjects caught their attention during class time. One female student sat alone near the front, writing in a notebook furiously. Three girls giggled with one another nearby, laughing as they talked and joked with each other.

Peter and Harry made their way over to their designated seat. Peter quickly took off his backpack and placed it next to his feet. Thus their day in school begins.

The class went on like a blur for Peter. Peter listened attentively as their teacher spoke and explained things that they would need to learn from textbooks and books of all sizes. History, chemistry, physics, and some biology were also listed.

Peter spends most of his time in class writing down details about the topics in his notes.

Peter closes his notebook and stands up as the school bell rings. He shoves said notebook in his backpack then grabs the strap and makes his way out of the classroom. It didn't take long for him to find the cafeteria and upon reaching it, he scanned the crowd to see that all the students were congregated. They were crowded together in groups and conversations could be heard amongst each other. Students were talking and laughing while eating.

"Yo, Peter!"

Peter's head snapped in the direction of the shout. He spotted Harry Osborn sitting on an empty mobile table with two trays full of food in front of him and a large smile plastered across his features. The same smile that Peter had seen many times. Harry motioned to a spot next to him on the table.

Peter walked over and took a seat beside Harry. Peter opened his mouth to say something but quickly shut it when he caught something from the corner of his eye. He turned his gaze to see his crush, Gwen Stacy, sitting at another table with a group of girls from afar. The world tuned out as he stared at Gwen in silent astonishment. He found himself lost in her electric blue eyes; eyes that made him feel warm and fuzzy. His heart skipped a beat when he realized he was staring too intensely at her. Blushing furiously, he looked anywhere except at her as his ears began burning red.

Peter quickly turned his gaze in time to see his friend Harry staring at him with a wide grin across his face. "What?" Peter muttered irritably.

Harry pointed toward Gwen, his eyes sparkling mischievously. "You ogling Gwen?"

"No! I'm not ogling anything!" Peter snapped defensively.

Harry chuckled. "Whatever you say."

Peter scowled and grabbed the first sandwich and bit into it. The bread tasted delicious and the cheese inside melted on Peter's tongue. The sandwich was followed by pieces of pickles, mustard, and ham. He took a second bite before speaking to Harry.

"Oh, I forgot to tell you! I'm having this cool party at my dad's place tonight. You wanna come?" Harry asked excitedly, leaning over the table towards his friend.

"A Party?" Peter repeated with a brow raised.

"Uh huh!" Harry nodded enthusiastically. "It'll be fun."

Peter hummed before saying, "Well, I'm free from work so… sure. Why not?"

Harry grinned widely at Peter, clearly very happy with his answer. "Awesome!" He exclaimed.

Peter and Harry continued eating while conversing and laughing about random topics.

A/N: Welcome new readers, to a new written series revolving our main protagonists: Peter Parker, aka, Spider-Man. In this story, our web crawler will be crossovering to one show that is beloved to every fan in the world - RWBY. This story I'll be writing will be my take on an alternate universe if Peter Parker was born in Remnant to the one he left. I'll be writing his interactions with all the characters, slow character development, and more.

The costume choice is of course is default suit but this suit is the design that both Peter (before he died), and Peter B. Parker donned in the Spider Verse movie. I've also decided to go with the blonde haired Peter because I really liked that version in the Spider verse film and was sad to see him die so soon. I will include elements from the movies, cartoons, video games, and comics into this story.

All Pictures, and Spider man are owned by Marvel. I do not own Marvel or RWBY.

With all of that said, see you all in the next chapter!
