Old work reuploaded, was taking to Evo and this came about. Published: 2-6-2021
It was straight after the attack that left Donna scared and alone once again.
"Give her back, you freak!" Ethan hissed as he brought the scissors down through Donna's veil. She screamed in pain as Ethan now ripped the blades back out to then be pushed back.
Donna ran as fast as her legs would allow. The cadou in her head throbbed wildly, not taking kindly to the threat now upon it.
"You do this to Rose too?" the doll had asked before floating off.
"Fucking monster!" he snarled as he found the doll again, or much rather Donna who was sat upon the floor.
Thinking he was once again stabbing the doll, he brought the scissors down upon its head again. The doll screamed once again before flying off to find another part of the house to find safety. But in reality it was Donna who was stumbling through, her hand to her head before moving it to the walls to smear blood upon them as she used the them to help her keep her balance.
"He's going to kill me!" she panicked as she now made it to the main room to stumble on the stairs.
She crawled up them, while carrying Angie.
"Where'd it go?" she heard Ethan now searching as he stomped around downstairs.
Once she made it to the top, she crawled on her hands and knees to desperately find someplace to hide.
"I can't let him take me," she panicked as she carried on crawling to eventually stand to stumble into the guest room.
She dropped against the bed, a hand to her head through the veil. She was bleeding quite badly it was streaming down her face almost blinding her. Ducking down with a grimace, she crawled under the bed and held Angie tightly to her.
"Make him go away," she begged. "Make the monster leave me be."
Her pleas soon turned to a childlike whimper.
"Don't let him take me. I don't want to die," she now sobbed as she held Angie closer. "Big sis will save me. She'll save me."
Looking up at the sound of the door, she gasped loudly. Ethan had found her and he would kill her.
"There you are!" his taunting words echoed through her mind as his hand reached under the bed to grab her.
"Noooo! Leave me alone!" she screamed while pushing herself as far back against the wall as possible.
Ethan's hand easily crossed the small gap between them to grab her and pull her out.
"I don't want to die!" she cried as she was now pulled up and into someone's loving embrace.
"Hush, dear. It's only me."
That was not Ethan. Ethan did not have a soft sounding voice like that, nor the anatomy of a woman. A very large woman to be precise.
"A-Alcina?" she stammered, trying to hold back more sobs.
"Yes," the woman replied as she lifted the younger woman's veil back. "It's me."
Donna practically fell into her, pressing her face into the older woman. Her blood now staining what was left of Alcina's white dress.
"It's not an illusion?" she now asked pulling away to have Alcina softly stroke back her hair, while minding the open wound.
The cadou seemed to be withdrawing from her face in order to heal up the wound created. She was now left with a perfectly functional eye again. Her old scar was still there, but thankfully the cadou was hidden once again inside her head.
"There we go," Alcina smiled as she turned the woman's head to look up at her.
Donna blinked, trying to get used to having a right eye once again after the parasite had completely taken over it. She could soon see Alcina was looking no better, blood that wasn't hers seeped from a nasty wound on her side.
"Y-You're hurt," she now frowned.
Alcina nodded to then place a hand to the wound and grimace. "That damned Ethan Winters stabbed me with that blade I had stored away."
"No, Alcina, you know how bad that affects you." Donna warned as tears clouded her vision.
"Donna, I'm fine." The older woman tried to reassure her. "I just need to rest and make sure to keep it clean and..."
"You know all those toxins are in your body, please Alcina take some of my blood."
"Donna, I refuse."
"Alcina! Please," she begged as she held out her hand. "You can hardly keep yourself upright."
Taking the younger woman's wrist she drank from her.
"Thank you," she now nodded, taking just the right amount to see herself home again.
Donna watched as she stood.
"What happened with Ethan?"
"I killed him," the older woman straight up told her.
Donna lowered her head. "He was just trying to find his daughter."
Alcina looked down on her sister with a frown. "Donna, the man stabbed you multiple times in the head. He stabbed and shot me."
Donna nodded before looking up. "Please, Alcina take me with you. He may be still here."
Alcina sighed. "Donna, he's gone. But you're free to come with me."
"I don't want to be alone anymore," she sniffled as she held Angie to her again.
"Come with me."
Donna looked up with teary eyes, for the first time she couldn't help but smile.
"My daughters will be more than happy to have you living with us, but I must hurry back before they get worried. I wouldn't want them trekking out in this weather to come looking for me."
Donna quickly stood to follow on, she gave her house one last look before heading off with Alcina.
