Fairy Tail - Drabble
Knock on the door before you enter!

Happy was quite excited as he held a mission paper in his hands. "I'm sure Carla will love the reward!"
Immediately, Happy spread his wings and began searching for Carla around the guild.
At one of the tables, where Natsu, Lucy, and Wendy were sitting, they were leisurely having lunch until a blue blur flew past them.
"What's wrong with Happy?" asked Lucy as she watched the restless feline rummaging around all the guild tables.
"I think he found a mission where the reward is dinner for two," Natsu explained rather bored. "I offered to accompany him, but he refused, saying he wanted to go with Carla."
"That explains his restlessness," Lucy said as she popped a fry into her mouth. "By the way, Wendy, where's Carla?"
"She's in the dormitory, Lucy-san," Wendy said quietly as she daintily ate her dessert. "She told me she wanted to take a bath before leaving on her mission."
This last bit was overheard by Happy, who now, knowing where his beloved Carla was, set off for the female dormitory, Fairy Hills.
After a few minutes, Happy arrived at the female dormitory and slipped in through one of the hallway windows where Wendy and Carla's apartment was located.
He was so excited, he couldn't wait to invite his beloved Carla. Not realizing that the front door was open, he rushed in and threw a wave into the air, which no one answered.
"No one's here?" wondered Happy.
Then he spotted the door to Wendy and Carla's bedroom. "She must be in there. I can't wait to see her face when I show her this mission!" Happy wandered around fantasizing, imagining that he and Carla were going on the next adventure.
Without much thought, he went to her room and, forgetting to knock, opened the door. "Ready for our next adventure...!"
The words couldn't come out of Happy's mouth due to the scene he was witnessing. Carla was wrapped in a pink towel, with her white fur still wet and the steam from the bathroom enveloping the room. She had just gotten out of the shower and was wrapped in a towel when Happy burst into her room without knocking.
Carla froze for a second before turning to Happy with intense fury. Her face went from white to red in an instant.
"HAPPY! GET OUT OF HERE!" she screamed, throwing the first object she had at hand, a cushion, at him, which hit him directly in the face.
Happy tried to explain, but Carla kept throwing everything she could find within her reach at him: books, a small lamp, and even a heavier pillow. Happy dodged as best he could, but not every projectile missed, and he soon found himself covered in bruises.
"Get out of my room!" exclaimed Carla, hurling a hairbrush in his direction. "I already told you to knock on the door!"
Happy continued dodging the objects. "But Carla, I've seen you like this before and you didn't complain!" he added, attempting to reason with her. Carla continued to throw more objects at him.
"Besides, why are you getting so upset!" asked Happy in desperation, as he covered his head with his hands. "It's not as if you have anything to hide in your Exceed form!"
That comment was the last straw. Carla paused for a moment, her face turning even redder with anger. "What did you say!"
Happy, not realizing his mistake, continued, "I mean, I'd understand if you were in your human form, but..."
Before he could finish, Carla had quickly transformed into her human form, and with a single kick, knocked Happy unconscious on the ground.
Minutes later, still wrapped in a towel, Carla was bent over Happy, trying to wake him up. "Happy, wake up, I'm sorry, but you brought this on yourself!"
At that moment, Wendy entered the room and was startled by the scene. "What's going on in here?" she asked, looking at Happy unconscious and Carla, with a guilty expression.
"You left the front door open?" asked Carla with a serious tone.
Wendy nodded with some trepidation as she moved closer to where Happy lay, so that with the help of her magic, he would wake up faster. "I'm sorry, Happy," whispered Wendy, apologizing to the unconscious feline.
Then Happy began to stir, slowly opening his eyes. "What... what happened?"
Carla sighed, relieved, but still annoyed. "You fainted, you idiot. You should think before you speak."
Happy rubbed his sore head. "Sorry, Carla. I didn't mean to upset you."
Carla looked at him with a mixture of irritation and tenderness. "Next time, knock on the door before you come in."
"Aye!" Happy nodded weakly. "Yeah, I'll keep that in mind. So, do you want to go on this mission?" He extended the mission paper towards her.C
arla sighed and smiled slightly. "Sure, but this time, without any more interruptions."
"Aye, sir!" exclaimed Happy once more.
