((The riddles I got off a website for scavenger hunts, I'm not very good at coming up with them myself. lol

FYI in case next week's chapter ends up being late. I'm currently in the path of hurricane Beryl. I'm hoping for rain only, which is hopefully the most likely, but if we lose power then of course no chapter until it's back. Just don't want anyone to think I've abandoned the fic if it's not updated when it's supposed to be.))

George looked at the paper in his hand and then back at Gideon, slightly confused. "'You'll see your complexion in my reflection?' Is this a riddle? Why are you giving me riddles?"

Gideon's lips twitched in the faintest hint of a smile. "And here I thought you might enjoy a scavenger hunt. You'll need all the items in order to go on our date…"

George huffed a laugh and gave Gideon an affectionate nudge. "Alright, Gideon. You've piqued my interest." With that, he turned on his heel and headed towards the bathroom with curiosity churning in his mind.

Once in front of the mirror, he grinned as he realized it was a medicine cabinet and could be opened. A single bottle of sunscreen sat on the otherwise empty shelves. He nearly tripped over his own feet in his rush back to Gideon, holding up the bottle like a victorious trophy. Gideon smiled as he took in George's enthusiasm.

"Ah, you've found it", he said, reaching out to take the sunscreen from George and turning the empty bottle around so George could see the next clue written on the back.

"'I have four legs, but I don't have any feet. You use me when it's time to eat.'" George took off to the kitchen and looked at the table, but it was bare. He scratched his head a moment and then his eyes lit up. Dropping to his knees, he crawled underneath and plucked the swim goggles from the underside of the table top. Taking the paper out from one of the lenses, he read:

"'Turn out the lights in the room and go rest your head on me.'" He almost hit his head on the underside of the table in his hurry to get to the bedroom. The bed was neatly made, but he almost threw the pillows on the floor in his haste to find the next item and clue. A brightly colored beach towel was hidden under one pillow, with the next clue.

"'I'm never wicked, but I do have a wick. I come in all sizes, ranging from skinny to thick.'" Brow wrinkling in puzzlement, George repeated the clue a few times to himself. As he turned to leave the bedroom, he noticed the desk in the corner, with candles. Hurrying over, he picked each one up until he found a clue but no item.

"'Most every day, you step on me. All I require is a bend of your knee.'" He barely noticed Gideon watching him as he came back out into the main room, trying to puzzle out the latest clue. "A bend of my knee…? Oh!" He turned quickly towards the stairs and saw a box with a ribbon. Yanking the ribbon off and lifting the lid, he found a pair of swim trunks and 2 tickets to a magical water park.

A triumphant smile spread across his face as he held up the prizes like a champion holding up a trophy. "Is this where we're going?" he asked, waving the water park tickets. The anticipation was swelling within him, almost more palpable than his own heartbeat. He'd been a little jealous of the amusement park Fred had gotten to see, it sounded like wicked fun. But a water park just as good!

Amusement flashed in Gideon's grey eyes, a wicked grin tugging at his lips. "Perhaps."

George chuckled, the sound reverberating warmly through the room. He picked up his new swim trunks and gave them an appreciative once-over. They were a striking shade of royal purple and black, matching Gideon's wings perfectly. The fabric was lightweight, designed to dry quickly and withstand the magical waters they were about to plunge into.

"Alright then," he declared, not missing the possessiveness of the colors chosen for his swimwear. "I guess there's no time like the present. I'll be right back." He left the towel and swim goggles, and went to go change into the swim trunks. When he came back, Gideon was also in swim trunks, similar to George but with more black than purple.

"Ready to go?"

"Yes!"

Gideon laughed and cast a sunscreen charm over both of them. "Grab your towel and goggles then." Once they both had their things, Gideon Shadowed them to the magical water park.

At first glance, the park was a spectacle unlike anything George had ever seen. It was an expanse of clear shimmering water, laced with iridescent light. The water slides curled and spiraled like serpents of glass against the cobalt-blue sky, while smaller pools of water filled with colorful aquatic creatures sparkled under the sun. He could see mystical creatures gliding effortlessly through the waters, their magical essences radiating stunning hues of color.

George's eyes were wide, taking in every detail of their surroundings. The water park was divided into several sections, each tailored for a different species. Looking around, he saw faeries in the wind tunnel slides, their wings fluttering in delight. He spotted goblins near the mud baths, chattering happily amongst themselves. In another section, he saw mermaids gracefully swimming around, their scales shimmering under the azure light of the water.

Gideon watched George's amazement unfold, satisfaction flickering in his eyes. "Welcome to the Naiad's Retreat," he said, his voice a soft rumble over the sound of laughing children and splashing water.

George felt a flutter of anticipation in his stomach. The day promised nothing but delight and he was eager to dive into this magical world that Gideon had introduced him to. The slide that towered above them all suddenly seemed particularly appealing.

"Race you to the top!" George called out with a laugh.

Gideon chuckled, that rare, full-throated sound that made warmth bloom in George's chest. "You're on, Weasley."

Without a moment's hesitation, George took off towards the gleaming tower of a slide with its coiling serpentine structure. He reached the stairs, and as he sprinted up them two at a time, he felt the wind whipping through his hair and ruffling his wings. His heart pounded with adrenaline, excitement sparking like fire through his veins.

Behind him, Gideon was close on his heels. Despite his warrior build and the powerful muscles that rippled beneath tanned skin, he was light on his feet, every move graceful and calculated. There was a glint of competition in those stormy grey eyes now, adding fuel to the thrill of their race.

Just as George reached the top, a strong arm wrapped around his waist from behind. Pulling him up against Gideon's muscled chest. "I think we have a tie." The Warrior said, his words carrying a hint of his earlier laughter.

George could only nod, eyes fixed on the breathtaking view from the top of the slides, the sparkling water park stretching below them, and the feel of Gideon behind him.

"Wow...this place is amazing!" George said, his blue eyes wide with awe. He could see the myriad of slides spiraling down into inviting pools, intricate fountains that shot sparkling jets of water high into the sky, and a lazy river that wound its way around the park like an undulating serpent, bubbling with magical properties.

"Yes," Gideon agreed, his voice soft, as he leaned slightly forward to share in George's view. His gaze was not on the water park; instead, it was firmly focused on George – on the bright spark in his eyes and the infectious excitement radiating from him.

They stood there for a moment longer before George turned to him with a wicked grin. "Want to try the Sea Dragon's Fury?" They could see the entrance just to their left. It was a high speed water slide that propelled up to 3 people at once, on a winding serpentine course, with fake fire effects.

Gideon only grinned and followed George to the ride. Settling down behind the younger Demon, he pulled him back firmly against his body with George positioned between Gideon's legs. As they released themselves into the rushing water, George let out a whoop of delight, his laughter echoing against the liquid walls. The world became a blur of colors as he shot down the serpentine tunnel, water splashing around him.

The slide twisted and turned at a dizzying speed, the water sliding slickly over their bodies as they held on tightly to each other. George could feel Gideon holding him securely, his large hands resting against his hip and stomach, steadying them as they raced through the slide at an exhilarating pace. Spells created illusions of fire that licked along the sides of the slide, warming the water slightly as they passed.

As they finally rushed out into daylight once more, George's heart was pounding with thrills. They landed into a large pool with a splash, laughter bubbling from both men's lips as they floated on their backs for a moment, letting the rush of adrenaline fade into tingling exhilaration.

George wiped his face as he looked over at Gideon. "That was brilliant!" He exclaimed, eyes sparkling with delight. "Want to go again?"

"Let's try a few of the others, and then, yes. We'll go again."

The entire day went by in a whirlwind of water rides, thrilling slides and magical aquatic creatures. They tried every single ride there was, and some of them they repeated multiple times. Until both were tired and ready to return home.

"That was brilliant. Thank you for taking me here Gideon."

Gideon smiled down at George, his grey eyes softening in the fading sunlight. "I'm glad you enjoyed it, George," he said, reaching out to gently brush a stray lock of hair from where it clung to George's forehead. His touch lingered longer than necessary, fingers tracing the line just behind George's ear.

Suddenly, George surged up in the water and wrapped his arms around Gideon's neck, kissing the Storm Demon firmly on the lips. As they broke apart for air, George grinned mischievously. "Fred got a kiss on his date, it's only fair I get one too…" before leaning up to do it again.
