Edward

"I'm worried. She hasn't woken up yet, Carlisle. Nothing has changed with her body. I don't think she is going to survive." I walked away from Bella.

I wish you had just listened to me, now I have to do this without you.

Alice

I had clearly once seen Bella as a vampire, but now I saw nothing. Bella was gone from my sight. I could see Renesmee and everyone else, but I didn't think Bella would be waking up. Jasper pulled me into a hug. I felt calm.

"I think she's gone. We will never see Bella again." If I could've cried, I would've if a vampire could.

Rosalie

I was holding Renesmee. It had been a few days since Bella had given birth to Renesmee. I didn't think she was ever coming back. I didn't like Bella, but I hoped she would come back for Renesmee. Something told me Bella would never wake up.

Jacob

It had been too long. Bella had died before the filthy bloodsucker could inject his venom into her. Nessie kept asking for her mother in her own way. I don't think Bella survived. I wanted to rip Edward to shreds, but I couldn't. Not if Nessie really did lose her Mom. I could already smell her body starting to decay. He had been too late.

Carlisle

"Carlisle? Is it too late? Was Edward too late?" I glanced down at my beautiful wife.

Edwards' idea should've worked, but I too could smell the stench of decay. Jacob had come to me about it. This would be hard on all of us. I had been happy to have Bella as part of our family. Most of us had been. I met Esme's sad gaze.

"I'm sorry Esme. Bella didn't make it." Her eyes grew irritated from the tears she could never shed.

I hugged her.

I'm so sorry, Esme.

Emmett

I watched as Rose held Renesmee. I couldn't fathom how my life would be if I ever lost Rose. Edward just lost his wife and now he was a single father. Renesmee lost her mother. I don't think our family will ever recover, at least not for a very long time.
