I "Is daddy okay Poppa Tai. He looks more sleepy than ever and know he's been going to the Roost a lot and guess during the summer, the island gets hectic and toid thing we're going to summer camp and it is the last day of school." Tommy said to their step-dad Tai making him nodding in reply. It was the end of Jubee on Opal Sands meaning the last day of school for the kids especialky Timmy and Tomny Nook, Tai and Tom Nook's kits who were excited about summer because they'd be going to summer camp for the first time so both male kits were already up only their dad looked exhausted and had been drinking coffee a lot along with hitting up the Roost seeing Tai hod.
"Maybe I should ask Brewster to make him hot cocoa as he needs to relax. I worry about him boys too plus put silent mode on his phone so he could nap but maybe Isabelle can get through to him." Tai replied to them as they were eating cereal and drinking juice since they were too youbg for coffee but drank tea as Tai had introduced them to it knowing it geing half day, Tai was staying home since Tom was going to work atvResident Services seeing them put their dishes in the sink but grabbing their backpacks hugging Tai before leaving the house getting to the bus stop waiting in line behind the other kids as the bus pulled up getting on but sitting together hoping their dads would be okay.
"Don't worry as papa Tai will talk to dad. He listens to him remember." Timmy whispered to Tommy making him nod in reply hearing the other kids talking and laughing as they were all pumped up for the last day of school too like them and after arriving at school, getting off the bus heading to the secobd-grade classroom taking their seats along with their classmates hearing them laughing and loyd as the teacher walked in signalling quiet.
"I know you're excited it's the last day of school but we've things to do like clean oht lockers and get report cards before chaos ensues." he said to the class but they were still pumped up doing these things then they had recess for the rest of the day, majing them excitedly stampede into the playground playing but Timmy and Tommy were under a shady tree playing their Switches knowing the other kids knew they did that which was why their Gym grade was C which their dads would be okay with and after the half day was over, they were heading home but hubgry making Tai chuckle as they hugged him saying Isabelle had sent Tom hone because he was so exhausted and Tai had taken their dad's phobe so he could rest and recharge to do the things he needed to do.
"Aloha papa we're home but is dad okay. We see you have his phone which is impressive." Timmy said to Tai. "He needed to rest so Isabelle sent him home but how was the last day of school boys." Tai replied to then making both twin kits relieved. "Good and we had to clean oht our lockers and get repirt cards. Then the sensed let us have recess until school was out." Tommy said making Tai grin at this.
"Well you can show daddy later when he wakes up okay, as he looked sleepier than ever." Tai said making lunch with mini hot fudge sundaes knowing this time of year, their papa's ice-cream parloyr would he packed making both kits grin as they sat down at the table being quiet as not to wake their dad up because he needed his rest.
After lunch, both Nooklings were taking an nap in their room after the excitement of this morning and their dad had inspired them plus it was Summer so they could di what they wanted but awhile later, they were awake but checking on their pops seeing he was still sleeping leaving him alone going downstairs relieving Tai as the house was quiet but it would get full of noise later so relieved Timmy and Tommy were awake.
"We kinda took an nap after the excitement of this morning. Dad's still sleeping by the way." Timmy said softly making his brother nodding as they cared about their dads and loved living on Opal Sands despute kids giving them grief because Tom was their dad and Nook Inc rubs the island only Tai and Tom had told them to just ignore them hoping the kids at summer camp would treat them okay knowing their dads would be nervous about letting them go knowing they'd be safe.
"How aboht we maje sone snacks for us, but also when Tom wakes up. His stomach will be hungry after sleeping all day almost." Tai told them as they agreed helping the male tenuki making tea and cookies knowing the smell would wake Tom and encourage him to cone diwnstairs making Timmy and Tomny agreeing. They knew that their dad was busy running the island of Opal Sands making sure everybidy was happy on the island along with visitors knowing this would happen duribg the Summer knowing they'd be at camp while that was happening making Tai smile.
A bit later, Tom began to stir stretching and yawning after sleeping all day wondering if Tai, Timmy and Tommy were okay leaving his and Tai's room going downstairs into theb wntering seeing the rest of his family there along with smelling tea making Tai chuckle seeing him sit down at the table as he piured himsekf a mug of tea along with Timmy and Tommy saying hecwas still a but tired making Tai get it. "Maybe you should have an early night after the fireworks plus the boys brought home their repirt cards." Tai told him making him grin looking at the report cards.
"We're proud of you boys and yeah, you can go to camp, if you want to." Tom said making both kits paw-bump plus loved the summer fireworks every balmy night. After the summer fireworks they were heading home but Tai was making them warm milk to help them sleep especially Tom and saw them headihg to bed including him and Tom going to his and Tom's room. He was climbing into bed beside Tom but they were out like lights as it'd been a long day but the next morning, both Timmy and Tommy were up before their dads watching TV as they knew their dads were still asleep knowing it was the first day of Summer hoping things would be good besides going to camp.
"They promised we could go if our grades were good and they were. I hope they got sleep." Timmy told his brother seeing him nodding as they were getting intobed but tired after a long day.
