When the Alliance first began to explore through the Relay Network, the Flame Nebula was one of the first Clusters discovered. Connected to the rest of human space through Arcturus Stream and Ginnungagap, while serving as the only way to the resource rich Damocles Cluster, the Flame Nebula is mostly used as a travel route, with many ships passing through to Damocles and Ginnungagap from Arcturus and the other way around, with relatively little development in the Nebula itself. This changed with the discovery of Feyer's wealth, though the Cluster remains underpopulated. The permanent population of the Flame Nebula is small, only a little over 26 thousand people working on mining colonies and gas extraction platforms alongside those working at the stations around the Nebula's Relays.

Description: The gateway system of the Flame Nebula, the Brand System plays host to a large number of ships passing through, with much of the system's economy focused on that traffic, providing repairs, fuel, and recreation to vessels passing through.
As: The only rocky world in the system, As is about the size of Mars. The planet is used as a pirate base, with pirate ships hiding in the planet's thick atmosphere after hitting ships trailing through the system. While anti piracy operations have succeeded in destroying or capturing several ships, many still remain.
Schemering: The farthest out planet in the system and holder of the system's Relays, Schemering is a gas giant half the size of Jupiter. It has proven a useful discharge point, though it is difficult to extract gas from it and its moons have proven barren of valuable resources, or at least ones worth leaving Sol.

Description: A small, young star system, Feyer has proven to hold a large amount of riches within its asteroid belt. The new star is not old enough to have formed any planets, and most of the mass is collected in the asteroid belt.
Feyer Belt: A large and rich asteroid belt, and the only notable thing within the Feyer System, the belt holds large amounts of both eezo and heavy metal. This has led to the belt being mined by many ships and hosting several mining colonies.
HUNTRESS:

Asteroid Belts: N/A (planetary rings)

Description: Not an actual star system, but a rough planet about 2 light years outside of Brand, Huntress is a Jupiter sized planet that holds little of interest besides its location and the anonymity it provides. The planet and its moons host a rather large number of pirates, based there between their raiding in the Brand System. While the pirates have not been discovered by the Alliance yet, the Alliance 3rd Squadron has been hunting for them and other pirates in the area, and may catch them soon.
