SmackDown Filming: February 2, 2010

"I'm demanding that I get my rematch at Elimination Chamber." I comment as I sit in Teddy Long's office. "And I won't take no for an answer, Teddy."

"I'll think about it." Teddy tells me.

"You'll think about it?"

"That's what I said."

"Well…" I sigh. "Think quickly. We both know I was screwed, and I want my entitled rematch at Elimination Chamber in my hometown."

"I'll think about it, Marissa. There are other Divas who are in line for a shot at the Women's Championship."

"Is this because I'm not on the SmackDown roster? Teddy, I have respect for you, but I'm the former champion who got screwed. I have a rematch clause. The next pay-per-view is in my hometown, and I have no issue playing double duty and working both Raw and SmackDown. I should be first in line to get a shot at Mickie James."

"There's multiple factors at play, Marissa. I'll think about it and let you know what's decided."

"Fine." I leave Teddy's office and slam the door behind me before I walk into mine and Randy's locker-room.

"He said he would think about it." I tell Randy as I close the door behind me.

"That's stupid." Randy replies. "You deserve your rematch."

"I know...ugh, I hate when Teddy is like this."

"Me too, but we don't control what he does."

"Sadly…"

"Just be patient, Rissa."

"I'm not sure if I can be."

"Just try."

"Fine…"

"There you go, Rissa. Be optimistic. I think you'll get what you want and deserve."

"What if I don't?"

"Have at least a little bit of faith in Teddy. He makes the right decision sometimes."

"Sometimes."

"I think he knows you deserve this and that you'll raise hell if you don't get your rematch against Mickie."

"I will. I'm not taking any of this lightly."

"You showed that with what your did to Eve last night."

"I did, and I get my hands on Eve again on Monday."

"Monday?"

"Yeah, I got informed that after my actions last night, I will get Eve in the ring one on one next Monday on Raw."

"I'm sure that'll be fine for you."

"I'm expecting an easy match honestly."

("Obsession" plays)

Mickie skips down to the ring with the Women's Championship. She gets a microphone.

"Sunday night…" Mickie starts. "Sunday night, I accomplished the biggest achievement in my life. I beat Marissa and took the championship back, and no one is going to take it away from me. This is my moment of glory, and everything is going to be perfect. No one…"

You know it's the Mack militant, coming to get it on.
Hey, get outta my way.
I'm coming, the thunder and lightning is striking.
I'm fighting you on the storm…

"Actually, Mickie. Hold on just a minute, playa." Teddy tells Mickie as he walks out on stage. "The announcement that I am about to make might just ruin your moment for you."

Mickie rolls her eyes. "What's the announcement that you have to interrupt me to announce, Teddy? It can't be that important."

Teddy sighs. "Well, Mickie, I'm here to announce that you will be defending the WWE Women's Championship in just over two weeks at Elimination Chamber."

"Against who?"

"The former WWE Women's Champion, Marissa...and Beth Phoenix...and Michelle McCool...and two opponents to be decided in qualifying matches."

Michelle and I grin at each other. This is great for us both.

Mickie gives Teddy an angered look. "What kind of messed up match are you making, Teddy?"

"The kind of messed up match I'm making is an Elimination Chamber match, Mickie. You will defend the WWE Women's Championship in the Elimination Chamber match."

Michelle and I high five, excited about this chance.

"What?! You can not do this!" Mickie shouts.

Teddy shrugs. "As for now, you will face Beth Phoenix one on one right in this very ring."

"But…"

"And that match will be right now."

"The following Divas match is scheduled for one fall!" Tony Chimel announced. "Introducing first, from Richmond, Virginia, the WWE Women's Champion, Mickie James!"

("Glamazon" plays)

"And her opponent, from Buffalo, New York, the Glamazon, Beth Phoenix!"

Ding! Ding! Ding!

Mickie and Beth immediately start exchanging Right Hands. Beth shoves Mickie into the ropes and goes to grab her, but Mickie kicks Beth. Mickie then launches Beth out of the ring, causing the referee to start to count. Mickie is clearly content with a countout victory.

Beth slides back in the ring. Mickie runs at Beth, but Beth grabs Mickie and hits her with a Backbreaker. Beth pins Mickie.

1…2…kickout!

Beth pulls Mickie up, but Mickie starts hitting Beth before hitting her with a Dropkick. Mickie goes to grab Beth, but Beth pushes Mickie away before lifting Mickie up and driving her into the corner. Beth hangs Mickie in the Tree of Woe position and beats on Mickie in the corner until the referee forces Beth to back off. Beth goes back to Mickie, so the referee goes back to stop Beth and to help Mickie. Beth starts arguing with the referee. Mickie sneaks behind Beth and rolls her into a pin.

1…2…3!

"Here is your winner, Mickie James!"

Michelle and I exchanged glances. While neither of us cared for Beth either, we were both hoping for Beth to win this match. However, Michelle and I both knew we could live with this result. I wasn't quite done yet anyway.

I wink at Beth as she walks by me in the guerilla area. Beth smiles back at me. I run down the ramp and attack Mickie with a chair. Security guards and referees have to pull me off of her. I shove them away and grab a microphone.

"Mickie," I glared at her. "At Elimination Chamber, the WWE Women's Championship comes home to me. I am the rightful owner of the championship, and I will take it back in my hometown of Saint Louis, Missouri. And you will go back to being irrelevant and forgettable. Keep it warm for me, Mickie."
