"Woah…" I comment as I watch Ted approach Maryse while we're all in catering. "Is Ted apologizing to Ryse?"

Randy, John, and Michelle turn to where I am looking.

"I think so." John says as we all watch on in interest.

"He is." Randy adds. "This has Jericho's planning written all over it."

"Yes it does, maybe a little bit of Morgan's too." Michelle responds. "Let's listen to what he says."

"Isn't that a bit nosy?" John questions.

"Babe, be realistic here. We're all nosy and they're in the middle of catering anyway. It's in public."

"Maryse Ouellet, please don't leave me!" Ted shouts as Maryse has started to walk away. "You are the best thing that has ever happened to me and the most beautiful woman I have ever seen! I love you so much that I could never love anyone as much as I love you!"

Everyone who is in Catering stopped whatever they were doing to listen to this conversation. Right now, this means most of the WWE roster.

"Then, why did you do it?!" Maryse asks in response. "Why did you sleep with Eve?! How could you do that to me, Ted?!"

Everyone looked at Ted for the answer.

"I was drunk! I was being a stupid drunk idiot! I regret it so much! She's just Eve the bitch anyway! You are not just Maryse! Maryse Ouellet, you are my world, my everything! I'm sorry! Please forgive me! I regret every bit of it!" Ted answers.

Maryse looks like she is about to head to leave again, but she kisses Ted.

"Do you promise it won't happen again?" Maryse questions.

"Cross my heart and hope to die." Ted promises.

"I love you. Just out of curiosity, when did you sleep with her?"

"New Year's, we'd all been drinking and I don't even know how to explain it but it happened. I'm so sorry."

"Oh, a lot of stuff happened that night so let's just forget about it."

"Okay. Do you want to help me apologize to the others?"

"You don't have to apologize to us four!" John shouts to the couple. "We've been eavesdropping this whole time anyway!"

Ted rolls his eyes at that. "I need to apologize to Cody though. That's for sure"

"Let's go. I'll join you. I know it's going to be tough." Maryse says before grabbing Ted's arm to walk with him.

Maryse turns around and smiles at us as she and Ted leave to find Cody.

"Layla is facing Kelly to qualify for our Elimination Chamber match tonight." Michelle tells me.

"Let's hope Layla gets that win. I don't want to deal with Kelly." I respond.

"Me either."

"What are you doing tonight?"

"I'm facing Beth tonight. What about you?"

"I've just got an interview with Todd Grisham and my match against Eve tonight."

"Nothing with Randy tonight?"

"Nothing with Randy tonight."

"That's really odd since you're supposed to be going back to managing him."

I shrug. "Yeah, but we've both got our own stuff going on. I've got this stuff with Eve and the Women's Championship Elimination Chamber. Randy's got the WWE Championship Elimination Chamber and his stuff with Ted and Cody. We've still got our own little stuff going on."

"Fair enough. I guess one night without a segment with Randy won't hurt."

"Not at all, and if creative thought I was bad about them splitting us up, I'd be much worse if they try to split me from Randy."

"I don't even want to imagine the hell you two would raise over that."

I laugh. "It'd be a lot of hell for sure. Is it just me or is it crazy that we're getting an Elimination Chamber match?"

"It's not just you. It's definitely crazy that they're giving Divas an Elimination Chamber match, but hey, we may as well just take it and run with it. I think we'll steal the show."

"I think so too. Just out of curiosity, do you think Cody is going to accept Ted's apology?"

"Honestly, I'm not sure. If he does though, I definitely feel like there's gonna be mistrust for a while between them."

"I feel like there's gonna be mistrust between Ted and Maryse."

"Definitely that too. So is there a plan for your match with Eve later?"

I shrug. "I'm just gonna kick her ass, plain and simple. She cost me the Women's Championship and, unlike Ted, has shown no remorse for what happened."

"Fair enough. I'll be watching."

"Please welcome my guest at this time, the former WWE Women's Champion, Marissa." Todd Grisham says as the camera pans over to me.

"Hey, Todd." I responded. "Way to rub it in."

"Hi, Marissa. Sorry about that. It was unintentional. So what are your thoughts on the Women's Championship Elimination Chamber match that Teddy Long announced on SmackDown this past Friday?"

"To be honest, Todd, I'm not Teddy Long's biggest fan or even really a fan of him in general, but I think he did great this time. The Elimination Chamber match will be a great opportunity to show my hometown just what I can do and to take my Women's Championship back."

"Tonight, there is a qualifying match between Layla and Kelly Kelly. Do you have a preference on who wins?"

"Quite honestly, Todd, I don't have a preference. Whoever wins is just another person I have to beat to win back my championship. It doesn't matter if it's Layla or if it's Kelly Kelly. No matter who it is, my goal will remain the same, to win and take back what's rightfully mine. And believe me, Todd, I will win the Elimination Chamber match." I walk off camera to end the segment.

Randy pulls me close as I make it to him. "That's my girl. Is your match with Eve the only thing you've got left tonight?"

"Sure is, and you've just got yours against Cody, right?"

"Yeah, so once my match is over, you and I are good to get out of here."

"I like the sound of that. So…um, do you know what happened when Ted went to apologize to Cody earlier?"

"Not really any details but it seems Cody forgave Ted."

"He did? Must've been a damn good apology."

"No kidding. Can I ask you something that's been on my mind since earlier?"

"Sure."

"So if Chris had made an apology to you a couple years ago like Ted did earlier today to Maryse, would you have accepted the apology like Maryse did?"

I shook my head. "No, I wouldn't have. Chris and I had more issues than just him cheating on me with Morgan, and you know that. The cheating was just what I needed to open my eyes to the truth of the fact that my relationship with Chris was bad for me. Why was that on your mind?"

Randy shrugs. "Just a little bit of curiosity I guess, that's all."

I nod, still a little concerned about Randy wondering about that.

She looks good to me

She's got everything I want

She's got everything I need...

"This is a Divas match scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Denver, Colorado, Eve Torres!"

I know I want that girl so bad

I lie awake at night

And think of all the things that I would do

With a girl like that…

"And her opponent, from Saint Louis, Missouri, Marissa!"

Ding! Ding! Ding!

I lock up with Eve. I toss her onto the ground quickly to show my dominance early on in the match. Eve gets up to immediately receive a Superkick. She falls to the ground. I pin her.

1...2...kickout!

As we both get up, Eve hits me with a Clothesline. I fall to the ground, and Eve locks in the Sharpshooter, a submission hold that was in my moveset, not hers. Eve was using it as an insult to me.

"Tap!" Eve shouts at me.

"Never!" I reply as I try to make it to the ropes.

I make it to the ropes to force a rope break. Eve releases her hold. I grab her and slam her head into the ground. I then lock her in a Sleeper Hold.

"Do you tap, Eve?" I ask. "Do you?"

Eve makes it to the ropes to force a rope break herself and tries to hit me with another Clothesline, but I duck and hit her with a Dropkick.

"This is my payback for the Women's Championship, Bitch!" I yell at Eve.

I go to pick Eve up by her hair, but she rolls out of the ring. She tries to walk away from the match, but I hit her with a Suicide Dive. She falls to the ground, and I drag her back into the ring and lock in a Sharpshooter, just because she'd used it earlier in the match. Eve taps out.

"Here is your winner, Marissa!"

Eve rolls out of the ring and glares at me as she walks up the ramp. I knew for a fact that this wasn't over.
