Theme song: "I Wanna Be Famous"
Spotlights and cameras began appearing in different places around Camp Wawanakwa. A movie slate closes shut, then the scene moved around the main area of the island. Cosmo and Wanda, the hosts, were sitting in director's chairs, giving directions to the crew. The scene then zoomed to the top of the cliff, then down into the water. Spyro the Dragon was swimming underwater, and struggled to breathe fire. He then floated back up to the surface, only to see Discord waterskiing past him. Fluttershy crashed the boat into Discord himself, who went flying into the air. He landed in the forest on Fluttershy's lap. Jason, who was standing next to her, ran away in fear. Later on, Howie Hyena and Professor Ratigan were fighting each other on a log, then Muffin Heeler, wearing her flamingo costume, swung in on a vine, knocking Howie and the professor into the outhouse, which Lindsay was using.
Meanwhile, in the mess hall, Tyler was arm wrestling Chip Pug, while Staci was chattering away, until Cosmo wished up a spoon and forced it into her mouth. Soon afterwards, Peppa Pig was blasting music out from one of the cabins, causing Fifi to laugh uncontrollably, while Ash Ketchum and Pikachu groaned in disbelief. Jimmy Neutron and Scarlett were testing out inventions on the dock, but then the robot short circuited. Later on, at the campfire, Caillou and Dora were about to kiss, only to be interrupted by his father Boris and her mother Elena. Then all 20 campers and the two hosts started whistling to the tune of "I Wanna Be Famous". Above them was a wooden sign that said "Total Crossover Island".
Somewhere inside Lake Huron, specifically the Georgian Bay, about a two-hour drive north of Toronto, the hosts of "Total Crossover Island", Cosmo and Wanda, were floating over the dock of Camp Wawanakwa, patiently awaiting a ferry.
"Which fairy?" asked Cosmo, confused.
"Not fairy, FERRY!" Wanda corrected him. "It's a type of boat."
"Ah, right..." admitted Cosmo. "What if it's a fairy DISGUISED as a boat?"
Just then, the hosts could hear the water splashing, a few hundred feet away.
"And speaking of which, here they come right now!" Wanda pointed at the ferry
"That's weird, I don't see a crown floating above the ferry," said Cosmo. "Must be a normal boat."
The ferry stopped at the dock, as a set of hands opened the ramp. The first contestant to step off the ferry was a girl pug with a pink curl of hair. She was wearing a white T-shirt with a pink heart on it, a blue vest, a pink frilled skirt, blue leggings with white polka dots, and yellow shoes. In one of her vest pockets was a pink stuffed animal with a white face and a blue heart-mark on its belly.
"Chip, welcome to summer camp," said Cosmo.
"Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy," said Chip as she ran around in circles on all fours. "I can't wait to make new friends at camp!"
"Chip, would you please stand on the other side of the dock?" Wanda asked her. "The other campers still need to get off the boat." She obeyed and hurried over to the end of the dock.
The next camper off the boat was a boy hyena with spiky hair and small fangs. He was wearing a blue open shirt, a white undershirt, green pants, and blue shoes. In his paws was a well-loved stuffed animal of a purple bat, with stains on its body and a patch sewn on its belly.
"Uh-oh," said Chip's stuffed toy, Potato.
"What do you mean, 'uh-oh'?" said Cosmo. "Do you know him?"
"We went to school together," said Chip as she sulked a little, looking a little nervous.
"Hello, Howie," said Wanda. "Welcome to Camp Wawanakwa!"
"My grammy signed me up for summer camp this year," said Howie as he walked over next to Chip.
Next in line was a very odd couple. One was a yellow pegasus with pink hair; the other character was tall and slender, with mismatched body parts from different creatures.
"Fluttershy and Discord, nice to see you here," said Wanda.
"The pleasure is ours," answered Fluttershy.
Discord snapped his fingers, as he and Fluttershy teleported to the other side of the dock.
The next pair were a Hispanic mother and daughter. The mother was wearing a purple dress, and her daughter was wearing a purple shirt, orange shorts, yellow socks and white shoes. The daughter was also carrying a purple backpack with a map on the side.
"Dora and Elena, it's been a while," said Cosmo. "Welcome to Total Crossover Island."
"Dora, if you misbehave on the island, you will be grounded even longer," said Elena. "Do you understand?"
"Okay mom," said Dora. "It's just going to be hard to explore the island without Boots."
Dora was very excited to see the next two contestants, who were father and son.
The father had brown hair and was wearing a green shirt with a red collar, blue pants and red shoes. His son was bald, and was wearing a yellow shirt with a red collar, blue shorts, yellow socks, and red shoes.
"Kayloo and Boris," said Cosmo, clearly not knowing how to pronounce the son's name. "This is Camp Wawanakwa, your home for the next eight weeks."
"Caillou," said Boris. "If you misbehave during summer camp, you will be grounded for life. Do I make myself clear?"
"Yes dad," said Caillou. "And by the way, Mr. Green Hair, it's pronounced kye-yoo, not kay-loo."
"And my name's Cosmo," he answered.
"I think he already knew your name," replied Wanda.
Dora and Caillou hugged each other, as they were best friends.
The next couple stepped off the ramp and onto the dock.
"Hi Cosma and Wando," said the blonde. "Hi Tyson!" she pointed at her boyfriend, who had lost his balance and fallen onto the suitcases.
"Lindsay, why did you call us by the wrong names?" said Cosmo. "I'm Cosmo, and she's Wanda. And your boyfriend's name is Tyler."
"It's a bad habit of hers," said Tyler. "Sometimes she even forgets she has a boyfriend!"
Lindsay kneeled down, she held Tyler's hands, and she helped him get back on his feet. They walked on down to the other side of the dock to meet the other campers.
