"Shut up!" I laughed.
Edward Cullen was the funniest and smartest guy I had ever met!
Yeah, I was a fucking lawyer and I had this stupid teenage kind of a crush on my colleague!
I wanted to ask him out, but well, I thought it'd be a bad idea to get into any stupid relationship with a colleague anyway!
"So... Are you coming tonight?" I said.
I hope he'd say Yes! I mean, it was a bad idea to try to get into any stupid relationship with a colleague, but one could always hope!
And this wasn't anything special anyway! My elder sister was in the city for one of her modelling assignments and we were planning to hang out with some of my friends and colleagues who were also my friends. I talked about everyone so much that she was really curious to meet them, and she was particularly interested in meeting Edward! She joked that she wanted to see if he was really as nice as I claimed!
Angela was two years older to me, and we were always so close. As we grew older, our bond only became stronger. We were very similar, but very different. I was always more studious whereas she didn't enjoy academics much. I was an introvert while she was an extrovert. I was average looking, but she was extremely beautiful, and she was always aware of that, and that's the reason she had chosen Modeling as her career aspiration. She was doing so well, and I was so proud of her!
"Yeah, I'm coming..." he smiled.
"Great!" I smiled.
We had a lot of fun at the pub, and everyone really liked Angela, and Angela enjoyed their company, too.
The one thing that I wasn't expecting was Edward's reaction!
"That was your sister?" He asked me later that night.
"Yeah... Why?" I smiled.
"Wow! Can I please get her number?" He chuckled.
